(03/16/2021) Restoring Relationship With Divinity

 

Salvation is provided by divinity to the living that establishes and restores active relationships between the Creator and the created. In a remarkable miracle, Jesus restored mortality to a man named Lazarus, and continuing to live on earth as a mortal, Lazarus eventually died a second time. Salvation goes beyond divine works that focus on the flesh such as healing the sick and raising the dead, and salvation is not a one-time sacred event. Correctly understood, salvation continues Creation by amplifying, perfecting and restoring the communication, exchange and interaction GOD set out to share with mankind. Salvation is more than being restored to life having flesh and a material form after a person has completed their mortality. Salvation is provided to those living on the earth for their inborn spirit substance to become permanently transformed, for them to receive immortality, and for them to continue to exist as a companion to the divine fullness (i.e., divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). Only at the appearing of Jesus Christ to harvest from the earth those who belong to him as anointed, edified, purchased, redeemed, and saved will the living become perfected through operations of GOD. While they live, those who are being saved are being prepared to enter into full relationships with divinity that complete and realize conversion, rebirth, repentance, and new life that resembles, reflects and reveals the character and nature of Christ. Before Jesus restored Lazarus from the dead, the Savior had shared an ongoing relationship with his sisters, Mary and Martha, and everyone within the household of Lazarus. Lazarus was not raised as an act of salvation for a long-time disciple and follower, nor was Lazarus raised so he could face divine judgment. The figure of Lazarus appears like that of Abraham who is called the Friend of GOD. Raising Lazarus was an act of sacred demonstration that also expressed affection, friendship, love, the fulfillment of prophecy, and the performance of sacred promise. It is written: 1^st Corinthians 15: 51-54, King James Version (KJV): 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. “Uncle Travus Top Pen Kuiper”, salvation must occur as an aspect of ones life experience through multiple sacred operations carried out by divinity on behalf of the living (we say, by divine prerogative and the sovereign will of GOD; by the grace of GOD). In addition to repenting for sin, the living are to experience rebirth, acknowledge atonement, and become ripe for harvest from the earth by Christ at his coming. Mature Christian believers receive the account of Lazarus returned from the dead as a sacred event provided to further prepare the followers of the Savior for his crucifixion and resurrection from the dead to appear in heaven. Life was restored to Lazarus to demonstrate that Jesus was endowed with divine authority and power; however, Lazarus was not lifted up to heaven for divine judgment as will occur in the resurrection of those who complete their mortality on the earth. In death, the dead do not continue to operate carrying on life processes, or having intent and purpose. Consider again the following:

(2.) Lazarus of the miracle

This personage was the brother of Martha and Mary of Bethania; all three were beloved friends of Jesus (John 11:5). At the request of the two sisters Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead (John 11:41-44). Soon thereafter, the Saturday before Palm Sunday, Lazarus took part in the banquet which Simon the Leper gave to Jesus in Bethania (Matthew 26:6-16; Mark 14:3-11; John 12:1-11). Many of the Jews believed in Jesus because of Lazarus, whom the chief priests now sought to put to death. The Gospels tell us no more of Lazarus (see ST. LAZARUS OF BETHANY). In order to connect and interact with their Creator, all created beings and living creatures must share divine attributes of consciousness, love, and personhood. Love is to be carried out and performed as more than academic discourse, the scientific analysis of human communication, exchange, and social intercourse, or the expression of dreams, emotions, and romantic fantasies. Lovingkindness is an inseparable element within the divine fullness (i.e., the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) that is to exist within the created beings and living creatures who manifest sacred law, divine presence, and eternal purpose. The church founded by Jesus Christ is to be a sanctified community and sphere of life (set apart for the use of divinity). Faith, holiness, and other aspects of divinity that are otherwise invisible become clear and present there by the operations of love. In addition to forbearance, forgiveness, kindness, and unselfishness, love expresses accountability, integrity, respect, and reverence. Among mature Christian believers love is more than simply an emotion or feeling we may experience; and coming to understand and operate as those who love is more than a simple academic or intellectual task. Love is a sacred practice (we say, a sacrament), a process carried out and performed as an act of will in obedience to sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. More than this, love is itself a sacred substance inseparable from the other elements believers are to discover as the character and nature of divine fullness (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, oneness without sameness, personness, wisdom, and wrath against sin). Through the ministries of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, Christian believers are to receive love as a fresh endowment of life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD. Once “born again” (the inborn spirit dies, is buried, and replaced with divine DNA, so to speak), sinners are to develop, grow up, and mature as full offspring of GOD. Their transformation to exist as life companions to divinity will be completed in the twinkling of an eye at the appearing of Jesus (we say, the harvest; the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming). “Anonymous”, like existence and life, faith is a spirit-substance that exists among the inseparable aspects that are the makeup of GOD (we also say, the divine fullness; the Creator; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Faith as an element within the consciousness and makeup of created beings and living creatures should be understood as imparted or transmitted from divinity, and is spirit that manifests only its own authority, character, operations, and power. Thus, faith is only made up of faith, just as holiness consists only of holiness, righteousness consists only of righteousness. GOD did not create life as a separate element that could later be used to make mankind a “living soul;” life essence (breath; utterance; word) was provided to Adam and later to the female directly from GOD. Only GOD is immortal, and while the living may be consecrated and sanctified to have duration, exist as offspring to GOD, and to serve divinity, the living must become transformed to have eternal life. Faith and life exist as perfected, however, the life process for those on the earth now goes forward by degrees, and is progressive from birth to the completion of mortality. Water baptism depicts the death, burial, and rebirth/resurrection of ones inborn spirit. Those who become born again also must grow-up again (we say, must develop; be edified; gradually grow; become accountable, consistent, stable, etc.). Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, sinners receive a fresh endowment of the same spirit that was provided to Jesus while he served on the earth. Today, reply is on forgiveness that demonstrates sovereign authority, grace, power, and restraint. As with judgment, redemption and salvation, forgiveness pertains more to revealing that divinity is justified, rather than mankind. Because forgiveness is a divine act and process to convey love, sinners do not have to beg for forgiveness so much as they are to acknowledge a sacred gift shared because of divine righteousness and unselfishness. Even so, it is correct to perform importuning and to repeat petitions and requests during private prayer that center on forgiveness and the mercy that may be shown to those found guilty in judgment. Christians, when God says forgive as your Father forgave you, doesn't that mean to forgive only if that person asks you for forgiveness?

Christians are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character, likeness, and presence of Jesus Christ on the earth. Today, reply is on forgiveness, reconciliation, and the loss of material and spiritual gifts. Where we endure times of boredom, depression, and loneliness, things of the flesh and material goods often lift our emotions and feelings such that we experience some forms of freedom, release, and relief. Even so, the deeper levels of our spirit remain unanswered and untouched. Young people and developing Christian believers are encouraged to acknowledge forgiveness as a sacred operation that continues human growth and relationship along with a connection as the children and offspring of GOD. “Anonymous”, Christians forgive knowing it is what GOD wants them to do. Along with our parents and others on the earth, forgiveness pertains to sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose and continuing an ongoing relationship with divinity. Young people and developing Christian believers are encouraged to understand that forgiveness can express compassion, maturity, sacrifice, unselfishness, and the mercy shown in final judgment against those found guilty of transgression. “Forgive and forget” does not restore or return conditions to what they once were, and forgiveness does not fully change another person’s character or nature that is sinful. Yet, as expressions of rebirth, redemption, and salvation, forgiveness makes possible the healthy continuation of any further relationship. Without forgiveness there can only be anger, bitterness, complaining, quarreling, and the bearing of a grudge. Properly understood, there is no man-made or material object that has more value than our spirit connection as family, friends, co-workers, and partners who, together, create and produce the products and tools that generate and maintain our lives. As sinners and those joined through secular knowledge, the world, and the flesh, men are unable to correctly discern the aspects of exalted majesty and power that appear within all sacred process and the spirit substance from GOD. While forbearance, mercy, and righteousness are continually displayed, they remain unseen because they are spirit and apprehended through faith. Born-again Christian believers must undergo many years meeting life challenges on the earth to arrive at full sacred development and edification. More than this, believers are fully transformed and perfected only following final judgment, and becoming joined to Christ as immortal. Today, reply is on the correctness of calling for Pope Francis I to relinquish the crown and throne following the response he made to a woman who grabbed his hand and would not release it as he was acknowledging those among a crowd of believers. Approaching those in roles of accountability and leadership with attitudes and behavior that are overly aggressive, too familiar, and flat-out rude is correctly labeled as “presumption” and “rebellion”. It is not a matter of dispute that the church of Jesus Christ displays delegation of authority; the gradual increase of instruction and intimacy with strangers; multiple levels of sacred knowledge, maturity, and skill among believers; division of labor; hierarchy; and oneness without sameness. Along with balance and discernment, sharpness, sobriety, and wrath against sin will continue to be essential tools within the church. Sharpness pertains to edification and prophecy, not intimidation, verbal abuse, and violence. Even so, within the community of believers in Christ there is never to be a “rush to judgment;” nor is there to be any welcome to accusations, “bad mouth,” cheap talk, gossip, and rumors against either clergy or lay members. “Anonymous”, many mature Christian believers acknowledge the correctness of the papal response made during a crowd scene where the Pope was forced to openly rebuke a woman who, in ignorance, presumed to grab and hold on to his hand. Properly understood, the Pope is not a celebrity or public figure; rather, he is a head of state, a living sacrifice, and a spokesperson who appears on the earth using flesh on behalf of divinity, who remains separate, immortal, invisible, and incorruptible. While the anointing, ordination, and sanctity of the Pope are displayed using things material and temporal, his sacred authority and dominion are not to be contested, defiled, or profaned. Also, the Pope is to be acknowledged as a primary elder and pastor for those who are members of a major portion of the church founded on the earth by Jesus Christ. As a caretaker and shepherd over a flock of GOD, the Pope must operate in accordance with divine prerogative; sacred law; imperatives and principles for exchange and interaction that serve as disciplines and regimens of office; eternal purpose; and the sovereign will of GOD. As one required to display the image of GOD, and who must resemble, reflect and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ, the Pope is more than simply another preacher or teacher. The Pope administers and maintains a priesthood on the earth fashioned after the pattern of things in heaven. The priesthood is a caretaker of sacred mysteries, is entrusted to continue sacred practices (e.g., baptism, intercessory prayer, worship), and is to be respected and reverenced as a lawful divine mechanism to continually offer the blood and body of Jesus in atoning sacrifice. Today, reply is shared on heaven as the sphere of eternal life generated by active presence and divine fullness wherein divinity exists in continuous communion with created beings and living creatures through their endowment of imparted spirit from the makeup of GOD. “ Anomymouscutie”, be encouraged! Here are some thoughts I can share as a Christian believer that you may find useful when considering the meaning of “heaven” or “paradise”:

Where heaven is described as an aspect of sacred knowledge within a structured belief system (i.e., catechism; doctrine; sacred studies; testimony) there are multiple practices that preserve and selectively share the original materials, mysteries, and sacred substance embedded within the patterns and themes that appear. Included may be the character and makeup of divinity; the expression of divine personhood, prerogative, eternal purpose, and sovereign will; the provision of correction, punishment, or rewards through a process of divine judgment; and alternative descriptions for the primary spheres of life (e.g., a realm of the dead; a realm of celestial presence, beauty, and perfection; a realm of torment, etc.).

2. Sinners who turn to GOD for forgiveness and change in their lives through Christian belief are encouraged to receive a fresh endowment of the same life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) that was imparted from the makeup of GOD to reside within the first male and female (Adam). Where one becomes “born again,” they also must “grow up again” and become mature/ripe for harvest from the earth by the Lord at his coming. Inseparable aspects of full divinity are implanted as divine DNA, so to speak. Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

3. There are many descriptions of heaven that are not from the major belief systems for sacred knowledge; and heaven will not be manifest as an expression of sanctified person, divine substance, and sacred process. In folklore, tradition, and creative arts, heaven may be spoken of using terms of the life process for mankind on the earth that are carnal, competitive, political, and social. Their thoughts and understandings are suited to frameworks for finite human qualities and tools such as appetite, sensation, emotion, and mind. The broad mix of ideas and themes that may appear does not always bear fruit, edify, or nourish correct understandings of divinity. Included may be lofty themes of time and space, measurable dimension and science, sorcery, superstition, witchcraft, and the occult.

4. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible to present the theme that heaven is a place where the Creator and the created both can exist having a relationship uninterrupted by the operations of sin: Isaiah 57: 15-21, King James Version (KJV): 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. 16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made. 17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart. 18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners. 19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. 20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. 21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
