(10/13/2020) The Foreskin And Circumcision?

A depiction of the parents of Jesus affirming his inheritance and offering their child to GOD through circumcision.

Today, the reply addresses the meaning and value of the foreskin and circumcision to thoughtful Christian believers. Through the household of Abraham, circumcision was a token of accord, covenant, and loyalty; even so, through the household of Jacob, circumcision became a token of condemnation, injustice, lawlessness, and wrath. As an aspect of the perpetual covenant shared by divinity with the Jews, circumcision continues to be acknowledged by many as a sign of divine commitments and promises to mankind, rather than a device for flawed judgment that expresses bias, partiality and prejudice, that accuses and condemns ones enemies, or that will reveal who is righteous before GOD and who is not. Through the life, death, and resurrection ministry of Jesus Christ, the meaning and value of circumcision has been transformed and made new. Consider again the following Scriptures that use language from the Bible and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps that appears below. It is written: Colossians 3: 9-14, King James Version (KJV): 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Why was god bothered with foreskins in the old testament?

If he hates foreskins so much, why did he create it?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. (Galatians 6: 14-16, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Godliness Characterizes Authentic Humanity (02/06/2020); Abraham In Divine Judgment (03/10/2019); Abraham Demonstrates Spiritual Growth (05/30/2018); The First “Chosen” People (05/03/2018); A Circumcision of Hearts (01/22/2018); Circumcision of Infant Boys (12/11/2017); Ye Are Abraham’s Seed (07/10/2015)

“Anonymous”, the covenant of circumcision began with the household of Abraham further signaled the divine transformation wherein mankind is to exist as the new creation. Many thoughtful Christian believers understand that removing the foreskin of the male penis is a representation of divinity refusing to depend on mechanical process among the living or that divinity must rely on natural law. Circumcision affirms the inheritance from divinity to mankind, and that man is to exist having continuous communication and interaction with the divine fullness. To that end, humanity is to receive fresh deposits and endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; word) and divine law imparted from the makeup of GOD. Circumcision serves as an assurance and sign that GOD is committed to those who bear this or other marks of his authority and image, and that divinity will fulfill all divine promise and prophecy. Created beings and living creatures are to exist as life companions to divinity, sacred offspring, and living vessels who contain divine substance. Removing the foreskin to identify those in covenant relationship with divinity makes visible their embodiment of spirit substance, and involves a mutual sharing of otherwise hidden revelation. Properly understood, circumcision foreshadows and is a step to the Incarnation where divinity appears on the earth using human form and life-process as Jesus Christ.

(1.) Genesis 18: 17-19, King James Version (KJV): 17 And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

(2.) Genesis 34: 24-30, KJV: 24 And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city. 25 And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males. 26 And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem’s house, and went out. 27 The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister. 28 They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field, 29 And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house. 30 And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.

(3.) 1st Samuel 18: 25-29, KJV: 25 And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king’s enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines. 26 And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king’s son in law: and the days were not expired. 27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king’s son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife. 28 And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal Saul’s daughter loved him. 29 And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became David’s enemy continually.

(4.) Colossians 2: 8-12, KJV: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dO2Jj2Bff_4.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(09/20/2020) Jews In Perpetual Covenant?

Excerpt from Our High Calling where the Sabbath of Creation identified is in perpetual covenant by the 7th Day Adventist Prophetess Ellen G. White.

Today, reply is on whether the Jews continue to exist as the “chosen people” of GOD. Many Messianic and Christian believers hold that the character, process and substance of GOD are manifest as divine law, and are immutable and unchanging because divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD are being expressed. Through Jesus Christ, Gentiles and repenting sinners who once were denied as the people of GOD and were called “the Uncircumcion” now experience rebirth and exist as divinity’s new creation. It is written: Deuteronomy 7: 6-11, King James Version (KJV): 6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: 8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; 10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. 11 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Are Jews gods chosen people?

I have heard many Christian preachers say that jews are all gods people.Galatians 3:28 doesn’t says different.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (1st Peter 2: 1-10, KJV)

(08/15/2018); Lost For 40 Years? (09/17/2018); Continuing A Perpetual Covenant (08/03/2017); The Holy Week Continues (04/14/2017)

“Anonymous”, that Jews through their culture and shared social values still continue to observe aspects of their ancient covenants with divinity is evidenced in the fact that we have just begun the Jewish New Year 5781 following Rosh Hashanah (in Hebrew literally, “head of the year”). Rosh Hashanah is the first of the High Holidays or Yamim Noraim (“Days of Awe”), celebrated ten days before Yom Kippur (in Hebrew, “Day of Atonement”). Mature Messianic Jews and Christian believers hold that the earlier observances to acknowledge the judgment and mercies of GOD have been elevated through the Incarnation and sacrifice of divinity as Jesus Christ who is to be acknowledged as having died in the crucifixion and was resurrected from the dead for the remission of sin on the earth. As in the Bible and other holy writings, all of human history and the entire range of contact and relationship between GOD as Creator and mankind as the created comes into view. The Sabbath for divine rest that is shared with mankind was established among the Jews as an emblem and token of their sanctification (i.e., being set apart to serve divinity). Sabbath-keeping has its value through divine promise and sovereign grace. Many argue that properly understood, the Sabbath appears according to provisions of natural law (the rising and setting of the sun; from sundown to sundown) rather than man-made law, and the Sabbath may not be legislated by churches, governments, and other human institutions. Moses and the mixed multitude of Gentiles who left Egypt and crossed the Red sea on dry land together would witness the manna that fell for 40 years, the pillar of cloud over their camp by day, and the pillar of fire over their camp by night along with the blessing or the curse that would appear for their observance of the Sabbath. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and Great Is Thy Faithfulness, a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) Exodus 31: 12-17, King James Version (KJV): 12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. 14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

(2.) Jeremiah 31: 31-37, KJV: 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. 35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

(3.) Hebrews 10: 14-23, KJV: 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. 19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

(4.) Isaiah 58: 13-14, KJV: 13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: 14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

(05/31/2020) Knowing The True Messiah

Today, just as correctly recognizing and rejecting the enemies of Jesus Christ is not an earthly process that relies on finite self-promotion, human tools and the flesh, acknowledging that Jesus is the true Messiah is shown to require the presence and operations of the Holy Spirit. It is written: 1st Corinthians 12: 3, King James Version (KJV): 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data appears) posted the following:

How did the other apostles not know Judas was the bad guy, when Jesus clearly kicked him off the dinner table?
Updated 38 mins ago:
When Jesus broke the news that one of them will betray him, the other apostles all looked to themselves and asked "is it me"?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. (Malachi 3: 13-18, KJV)

“Anonymous”, the process and substance for recognizing the Messiah among the living on the earth does not rely on finite human tools such as academic instruction, emotions, intellect, logic, carnal reason, secular knowledge, philosophy, politics, and science. Divine operations are to be acknowledged that include atonement, commitment, Incarnation, prophecy, rebirth, resurrection from the dead, sanctification, unselfish service, suffering, and the second death. Properly understood, the process divinity uses in redemption, salvation, and maintaining fellowship with created beings and living creatures on the earth includes imparting inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of GOD (e.g., balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, wrath against sin). Sinners born again are to repent; discover; be edified by GOD; continue praise, prayer, and worship; experience gradual growth; practice discernment; study the holy writings; submit to permanent change; and suffer without complaining, conflict, or despair. Even the chosen 12 were immersed in long-held expectations, vain hopes, and unfruitful traditions associated with misrepresentations of the divine law and covenant relationships of promise that should generate a faith with power and new life. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Sandi Patti:

(1.) Matthew 16: 13-17, King James Version (KJV): 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

(2.) John 4: 19-26, KJV: 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

(3.) Luke 24: 22-32, KJV: 22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre; 23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive. 24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. 25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. 28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. 29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. 30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. 32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

(05/28/2020) Forgiveness A Sacred Practice

Today, reply is on forgiveness as a response on behalf of divinity more than a response by sinners to one another in human displays of contrition, humility, and regret for bad conduct. Jesus affirmed “the law and the prophets,” yet, he could not extinguish the sin that gripped the High Priest and elders of Israel, the Sanhedrin court, Pontius Pilate representing the government of Rome and all mankind, or the betrayal by multitudes who gladly had received healing and miracles from his ministry. As a sacred practice, forgiveness does not eliminate sin; even so, forgiveness may operate on the earth within human consciousness and self-will to establish opportunities and possibilities for mankind’s spiritual growth and transformation. Where guilt, shame, uncertainty, and fear of judgment appear with sacred law, forgiveness centers in expressions of divine personhood that include humility, impartiality, longsuffering, lovingkindness, and respect. Forgiveness appears as an act of GOD that encourages continuing exchange, reconciliation, renewed covenant relationship, repentance, and fruitful social interaction. While forgiveness displays active presence and other inseparable aspects of divine spirit, forgiveness does not convey the full authority and power of atonement, redemption, godly restraint, and salvation. Thus, no one openly asked that Jesus forgive them as the heirs of Adam whose cruelty, disbelief, irreverence, and scorn were displayed throughout his arrest, trial and crucifixion. Jesus prayed from the cross that men would be forgiven of their transgression against his Father in heaven, rather than their offense against himself. It is written: 1st John 1: 5-10, King James Version (KJV): 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Regwah” (Level 7 with 131,610 points) posted the following:

When you forgive, do you just forgive, or wait until forgiveness is humbly requested?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. (Luke 23: 33-35, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Believers Are To Forgive (05/17/2020); Spiritual Integrity and Maturity (05/12/2020); Pray For Your Enemies? (01/03/2020); The Many Divine Gifts (12/03/2019); Now Are Ye Light (09/18/2019); Our Displays of Divinity (06/19/2019); The Workings of Divinity? (01/15/2019)

“Regwah”, both as a duty to GOD and a benefit to others, Christians are to practice forgiveness. Among mature Christians, forgiveness is to make visible the grace of GOD who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. Grace may be understood as undeserved, unmerited favor, and a feature of the full image of GOD provided to mankind. Thus, forgiveness is an expression of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, sacred law, and the sovereign will of GOD. That we forgive is more than a matter of expressing our own affection, our desires, or our emotions. Divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is manifest and present within all sacred process and spirit substance. Sinners who repent receive a fresh endowment of the life essence (breath; spirit; word) that was granted to Adam in Creation. Inseparable aspects of divinity are imparted to those who become “born again” that includes balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Christian believers are the new creation of Jesus Christ; and his followers are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus in their lifestyle and daily routines. Forgiveness is a first step toward ending conflict, healing, peacemaking, reestablishing trust, resolving dispute, and accomplishing full reconciliation. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Matthew 6: 9-15, King James Version (KJV): 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

(2.) Ephesians 4: 31-32, KJV: 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

(3.) Matthew 18: 15-22, KJV: 15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. 21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5frx0hqWVqw.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(05/21/2020) The Return of Yeshua

Today, reply is on faith, the close of our present season of divine grace, and the fulfillment of the covenants shared by GOD with mankind. Christian believers are not allowed to foretell future events and predict specific things that may happen to one another, our loved ones, or to those outside of Christ. Even so, the Holy Spirit displays the divine patterns in sacred law and prophecy that provide information on the coming of the Lord; and all are to acknowledge the opportunities and possibilities for divine faithfulness, enduring mercy, and unfailing love. It is written: Revelation 1: 7-8, King James Version (KJV): 7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information displayed) posted the following:

Will Jews accept Yeshua upon his return ?
I also noticed that Jews are also waiting for their messiah to return.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (Jude 20-21, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: They Which Are Called (04/09/2020); More Required Than Crucifixion? (12/10/2019); The Tools Of Divinity (12/09/2019); Vessels Filled With Righteousness (11/06/2019); Disciples and “Little Christs” (11/05/2019); Likened Unto 10 Virgins (09/09/2019); The Imminent Return of Christ? (07/19/2015); Called “The Anointed One” (05/08/2018); Jesus And The Torah? (09/06/2017)

“Anonymous”, so to speak, in the Apocalypse, the acceptance of Jesus Christ by the Jews as a nation or a people will not matter. The return of Jesus to receive from the earth those who belong to him in covenant relationship and who are mature/ripe through the operations of the Holy Spirit is a sacred event wherein divine fullness (the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) accepts and acknowledges the integrity of mankind to exist on the earth as an immortal, incorruptible companion to divinity. The present season of grace wherein created beings and living creatures may choose to acknowledge or deny divinity will have been ended. Divinity has appeared alive on the earth using human flesh and life process as Jesus Christ; and the living have been allowed many opportunities and possibilities to resemble, reflect, and reveal the image of GOD, and the character and likeness of Jesus. Even so, using a process of self-promotion and self-selection, many have relied on such finite human tools as emotion, intellect, opinion, philosophy, carnal reason, science, critical thinking, and self-will (willpower), rather than embracing the gifts from GOD. When Jesus comes, the benefits and fruit of divine grace are to be present in those who belong to GOD and are to reside within the saved as their life essence (breath; spirit content; utterance; word) and as divine seed imparted from the makeup of GOD. Those born-again will have been changed through sacred knowledge and the revelation of GOD as Christ. Being the new creation of Jesus Christ, his church will have prepared themselves to meet the Lord in the air through consecrated works of discovery, gradual growth, practice, prophecy, repentance, unselfish service, study, and suffering. At the appearing of Christ (some say, the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming), those granted eternal life will already have been marked and sealed, and they will have passed through all the required examinations of final judgment. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) 1st Corinthians 12: 3, King James Version (KJV): 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

(2.) 1st Corinthians 15: 50-58, KJV: 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

(3.) 1st Thessalonians 4: 13-18, KJV: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKGl_6-DaVo.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(05/19/2020) No Knowledge Of GOD?

Today, reply is on the divine provisions for mankind to have complete and correct knowledge of divinity. In the same way displaying existence and life describe all created beings and living creatures, all the living possess awareness and an indelible innate consciousness of divine fullness (i.e., divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). The living are granted a primal and rudimentary knowledge of GOD that is to become elaborated, focused and refined through instruction, maturation, sanctification, and suffering. GOD is known to mankind by continuing as active presence manifest in spirit process and substance. Sacred knowledge may be acquired as prophecy and edification; and otherwise hidden truth is revealed and discovered through gradual growth, learning, discernment, practice, and study. It is written: 1st Corinthians 2: 12-14, King James Version (KJV): 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Princess” (Level 5 with 8,026 points) posted the following:

If a child was never told about things like "gods" but was given a strictly skeptical and scientific education, would that child ...?
... "find god" eventually on his own?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. (Proverbs 4: 7, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Aspects Defining Human Life? (03/02/2020); Spirit Process and Substance (02/27/2020); A Complete Divine Revelation (11/15/2019); To Learn From GOD (11/11/2019); Fully Communicating Human Potential? (09/30/2019); Consequences and Divine Love (07/05/2018); Christian Beliefs About Sin (07/20/2017); The Best Starting Point? (09/13/2016)

“Princess”, GOD is known by divine spirit process and substance. Most mature Christian believers will agree that acquiring sacred knowledge and a mature consciousness of divinity are accomplished through multiple sacred devices and operations. Included are all mankind being endowed with a measure of the same life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word) from the makeup of GOD that was imparted to the first pair (Adam); the appearance of divinity on the earth using human form and life process as Jesus Christ; water baptism wherein a person’s inborn spirit dies, is buried, and is raised from the dead (we say, they become born again); receipt by the living of a fresh endowment of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, wrath against sin); and the multiple possibilities of an inheritance as the new creation established through the ministry of Jesus Christ. The natural world as our sphere of life is a sacred expression from divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Even so, mankind relies heavily on the finite tools of intellect, logic, carnal reason, science, and self-will (willpower). Academic studies and secular knowledge do not permit complete and correct knowledge of divinity. The operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of sacred law also promote a return to the conditions of preexistence, and challenge the integrity of the divine order that appears as the universe. Sin disrupts and undermines mechanical process and sequence, and therefore, results in evil (catastrophe) and upheaval. Our human potential for self-expression can be displayed in behavior that is animal, human or godly, for the earth and we ourselves bear the image and marks of GOD as our Creator. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a music selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) Psalms 19: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

(2.) 1st John 4: 7-9, KJV: 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

(3.) Romans 1: 18-23, KJV: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB-NT-vCzVk.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(05/11/2020) Incarnation, Death and Resurrection

The image is a depiction of Christ having resurrection life coming out of the tomb.

Today, reply is on the divine plan and eternal purpose in the appearance of Jesus Christ on the earth. Jesus was sent to continue and complete a revelation of divinity to mankind that was begun in the Creation of Adam through sacred law, rather than to complete a plan to recover mankind from the consequences of sin by the death of Jesus on the cross. Multiple divine operations beyond redemption and salvation have been carried out through the Incarnation, death, and resurrection of Jesus that have established immortal, incorruptible, unseen divinity as a continuing and active presence in the earth. It is written: 2nd Peter 1: 2-11, King James Version (KJV): 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “joko” (Level 1 with 207 points) posted the following:

In theory Jesus was sent on a mission to die to cleanse humanity of original sin. So why do some extremists blame Jews for killing him?
He was intended by divine plan to die, right?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (Romans 8: 28-30, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Resurrection Of Christ (04/16/2020); Acknowledging Christ as Son (03/08/2020); Spirit Process and Substance (02/27/2020); From Purpose and Substance (12/27/2019); Only Divine Resurrection Saves (12/24/2019); More Required Than Crucifixion? (12/10/2019); New Birth By Resurrection (09/27/2019)

“joko”, forgiveness establishes possibilities for covenant relationship with GOD, yet, does not answer all the demands of final judgment and the sanctions recorded within the divine law. Thus, many Christians trust that Christ did not come to atone for the sins of mankind so much as he came to reveal the character and nature of immortal, invisible, divinity. The appearance of GOD on the earth using human flesh and life process as Jesus Christ (we say, the Incarnation) has included multiple finite and eternal operations that express divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of divine fullness (i.e., Deity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). So to speak, in the same way death (sleep) was used to accomplish the creation of a female (Eve) from the rib of a living male (Adam) without also destroying all things for a “do-over”, or calling forth existence and life ex nihilo (from nothing), mankind as a companion to divinity is being restored through divine operations upon the Word and upon the endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word) that was imparted to mankind at Creation from the makeup of GOD. Included are the use of birth, growth, inheritance, priestly service, death, and resurrection. Adam “fell” through betrayal, deceit, negligence and opposition to the continued existence of sacred law. Where sinners undergo the death and burial of their inborn spirit, operations that are spirit in process and substance establish their existence through sacred rebirth. Inseparable aspects of divinity are provided that include balance, commitment, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Developing believers are to become mature/ripe while on the earth through such features as discovery, gradual growth, sacred practice (e.g., praise, prayer, worship), the fulfillment of prophecy and divine promise, unselfish service, the study of the holy writings, and suffering. All who belong to Christ are to be harvested from the earth by the Lord at his Advent (his appearing; the Rapture; the Second Coming). Members of the spiritual body established by Jesus (the church) exist now as the new creation, and later are to become immortal as the offspring and vessels of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Exodus 34: 4-8, King James Version (KJV): 4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone. 5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. 8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

(2.) 2nd Corinthians 5: 17-21, KJV: 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

(3.) Romans 8: 14-17, KJV: 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKGl_6-DaVo.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(04/16/2020) The Resurrection Of Christ

The image depicts Mary Magdalene and the Resurrected Christ.

Today, the reply is on the resurrection of Jesus Christ as an operation carried out by divinity to fulfill sacred law, spirit process, and consecrated purpose, rather than material works to restore the physical body and flesh of a man. The resurrection of Jesus was to accomplish more than returning life to one who is dead; sinners are to be transformed to become the new creation. Multiple divine goals are addressed including judgment to determine those who will receive eternal life as well as judgment to determine the distribution of rewards to those who have been redeemed. It is written: 1st Corinthians 3: 11-15, KJV): 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile info shown) posted the following:

Why is it so important for Christians to accept that Jesus rose from the dead? Why make such a bizarre and unlikely event so fundamental?
It makes Christians look completely silly.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; (1st Peter 2: 5-9, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Miracles and Christian Belief (01/30/2020); The Judgment For Rewards (01/10/2020); Only Divine Resurrection Saves (12/24/2019); More Required Than Crucifixion? (12/10/2019); Proof of The Resurrection (12/01/2019); Sin Depicted Using Flesh (11/22/2019); New Birth By Resurrection (09/27/2019)

“Anonymous”, among mature Christian believers the meaning and value for the resurrection of Jesus Christ result from multiple operations of divine fullness (divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). The resurrection of Jesus Christ pertains to the continued existence of divine law; recovering the Creation that has been put forth from GOD; providing a birth process for mankind that does not use sexual reproduction; and the final elimination of sin. GOD exists as a spirit (active presence) who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. Even so, GOD is the origin of all that exists and has life; GOD has established the divine order that appears as our universe; and GOD has provided the frameworks and operations of finite consciousness and self-will (willpower) such as time and space. GOD exercises authority, divine prerogative, dominion, eternal purpose, and sovereign will. Where the living contain the same inseparable aspects of divine spirit that appeared on the earth within Jesus Christ, GOD interacts with created beings and living creatures in an ongoing relationship. The life essence (breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of the Creator gives man possibilities and a potential to display the character, process, and substance of Deity without also removing their integrity and soundness as finite beings. Like the imparting of gifts from the Holy Spirit, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a divine demonstration (we say, an act in good faith; a down payment; an earnest) to show the validity of all divine judgment, promise, prophecy, and revelation. Believers receive a fresh endowment of such elements as balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Consider again the following that uses language from the holy writings, and a selection from the music ministry of Dallas Holm:

(1.) Romans 6: 3-6, King James Version (KJV): 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

(2.) Romans 6: 8-13, KJV: 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

(3.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Rise Again from Dallas Holm @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IzsF5F1xrI.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
