(07/22/2020) Forgiveness is not DIY

Today, reply is on confession and forgiveness as sacred operations within the church performed by members of the body who are anointed, ordained, and sanctified. Believers are to accept accountability, perform specific duties, and continue as proactive on their own behalf as the people of Christ, however, believers also must agree that salvation, forgiveness, and other sacred practices in the church are not the basis of do-it-yourself (DIY) and man-made methods. Authentic and divinely lawful aspects of the full spirit process and substance of the church can only appear through the performance of covenant duty and unselfish service performed for one another by those who embody Jesus Christ. Correctly understood, all Christians are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Many Christian believers challenge and resist clergy, hierarchy, and divine priesthood by insisting that their own conscience, integrity, and merit in Christ must be acknowledged as primary when their own salvation becomes a focus. Many err because they covet authority, control, independence, and separation; others encourage combativeness, comparison, competition, and condemnation. Even so, a priesthood on the earth modeled after that in heaven was provided as a divine blessing and gift to Adam that would manifest the cooperation of divine fullness with mankind. In addition to sacrifice, expiation, and remission of sin, confession and forgiveness are among the works of priesthood, rather than the works of prophecy and revelation. It is written: Philippians 2: 2-8, King James Version (KJV): 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appears) posted the following:

Do you confess your sins to a priest? Did you know that is necessary for salvation?
God can forgive anything if you truly repent through confession.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; (Philippians 2: 12-15, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Divine Forgiveness Ministers Grace (07/20/2020); Acknowledging And Confessing Sin (06/21/2020); Baptism Is Not DIY (05/28/2019); Let Us Reason Together (08/07/2019); Applying The Divine Standards (10/02/2018); Confessing Your Own Salvation? (03/02/2018); Prayer in Public? (02/24/2015)

Anonymous”, within the church of Jesus Christ, many account the works of personal expression (e.g., confession, forgiveness, prayer, repentance) as pertaining to love, prophecy and revelation, rather than to universal order, sacred law, and priesthood. Confession and forgiveness are the outcome and result of grace, rather than ceremonies that declare condemnation and judgment. In the same way justification and salvation are not matters of personal freedom or self-promotion, and must be completed by the workings of divinity, forgiveness for sin is not a matter of human affection, fellowship, kindness, and self-will (willpower). Christians are to receive Jesus Christ as a divine High Priest who makes atonement for sin. Many mature Christian believers therefore agree that confession and forgiveness are most correctly acknowledged and practiced within the household of faith using an anointed priesthood, for there must be a transaction at the point where heaven and earth connect (i.e., a sacred altar; a consecrated table). In addition to an openhearted, private conversation with divinity about ones own errors and transgressions, there must be an offering and application of spirit substance that include the atoning blood, character, and personhood of Jesus Christ as it resides within the priest. Often, the concern for benefits and privileges from GOD (e.g., authority, blessing, freedom, power and rank) obscures the demands for celestial operations, divine order, sacred law, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. As a practice that makes present what we hope, those who are dedicated, disciplined, and mature through unselfish service, study of the holy writings, personal sufferings, and prayer should be entrusted as ministers to the body on behalf of those yet being built up and edified as developing believers. Consider the following that use language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot & Terry Talbot:

(1.) Psalms 32: 1-2, King James Version (KJV): 1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

(2.) Matthew 9: 2-8, KJV: 2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. 3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. 4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? 5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? 6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. 7 And he arose, and departed to his house. 8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

(3.) Luke 7: 36-50, KJV: 36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisees house, and sat down to meat. 37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisees house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, 38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. 39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. 40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. 41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? 43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. 44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. 48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. 49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? 50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

(05/21/2020) The Return of Yeshua

Today, reply is on faith, the close of our present season of divine grace, and the fulfillment of the covenants shared by GOD with mankind. Christian believers are not allowed to foretell future events and predict specific things that may happen to one another, our loved ones, or to those outside of Christ. Even so, the Holy Spirit displays the divine patterns in sacred law and prophecy that provide information on the coming of the Lord; and all are to acknowledge the opportunities and possibilities for divine faithfulness, enduring mercy, and unfailing love. It is written: Revelation 1: 7-8, King James Version (KJV): 7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information displayed) posted the following:

Will Jews accept Yeshua upon his return ?
I also noticed that Jews are also waiting for their messiah to return.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (Jude 20-21, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: They Which Are Called (04/09/2020); More Required Than Crucifixion? (12/10/2019); The Tools Of Divinity (12/09/2019); Vessels Filled With Righteousness (11/06/2019); Disciples and “Little Christs” (11/05/2019); Likened Unto 10 Virgins (09/09/2019); The Imminent Return of Christ? (07/19/2015); Called “The Anointed One” (05/08/2018); Jesus And The Torah? (09/06/2017)

Anonymous”, so to speak, in the Apocalypse, the acceptance of Jesus Christ by the Jews as a nation or a people will not matter. The return of Jesus to receive from the earth those who belong to him in covenant relationship and who are mature/ripe through the operations of the Holy Spirit is a sacred event wherein divine fullness (the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) accepts and acknowledges the integrity of mankind to exist on the earth as an immortal, incorruptible companion to divinity. The present season of grace wherein created beings and living creatures may choose to acknowledge or deny divinity will have been ended. Divinity has appeared alive on the earth using human flesh and life process as Jesus Christ; and the living have been allowed many opportunities and possibilities to resemble, reflect, and reveal the image of GOD, and the character and likeness of Jesus. Even so, using a process of self-promotion and self-selection, many have relied on such finite human tools as emotion, intellect, opinion, philosophy, carnal reason, science, critical thinking, and self-will (willpower), rather than embracing the gifts from GOD. When Jesus comes, the benefits and fruit of divine grace are to be present in those who belong to GOD and are to reside within the saved as their life essence (breath; spirit content; utterance; word) and as divine seed imparted from the makeup of GOD. Those born-again will have been changed through sacred knowledge and the revelation of GOD as Christ. Being the new creation of Jesus Christ, his church will have prepared themselves to meet the Lord in the air through consecrated works of discovery, gradual growth, practice, prophecy, repentance, unselfish service, study, and suffering. At the appearing of Christ (some say, the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming), those granted eternal life will already have been marked and sealed, and they will have passed through all the required examinations of final judgment. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) 1st Corinthians 12: 3, King James Version (KJV): 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

(2.) 1st Corinthians 15: 50-58, KJV: 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

(3.) 1st Thessalonians 4: 13-18, KJV: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKGl_6-DaVo.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(04/09/2020) They Which Are Called

The image shows Jesus Christ serving as the divine High Priest in heaven who makes atonement for sin on the earth.

Today, reply is on the recovery of mankind from sin, and mankinds transformation by divine fullness requiring the appearance of divinity in the earth using human flesh and life process as Jesus Christ. The process and substance of divinity appearing to mankind on the earth is one to establish unchanging divine order, permanence, and the eternal nature of consecrated truth. Only those who are called, who willingly respond, and who voluntarily endure will apprehend the high prize of GOD. Through the operations of divine judgment, and fulfillment of the second death, mankind is to be sealed as immortal and incorruptible. It is written: Hebrews 10: 26-29, King James Version (KJV): 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “𝐸𝓂𝓂𝒢 α••( ᐛ )α•—” (Level 2 with 964 points) posted the following:

Christians, why do we need to believe in Jesus to be saved?
According to the latter half of the old testament, God was already opened to forgiveness through repentance over sacrifice, centuries before Jesus. And according to the books of maccabees, it was already a strongly held belief that God would send the righteous to heaven though faith. In the second book of maccabees, a Jewish family consisting of a mother and her seven sons, were all tortured one by one for not giving up their faith, but they already believed that staying strong would land then a place in heaven.

So why is Jesus necessary for salvation?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3: 7-14, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Grace Abounds Much More (04/02/2020); Trying To Stop Sins (04/01/2020); “Because You Are Believers” (03/17/2020); Those Who Are Convinced (12/08/2019); In Relationship With Divinity? (08/16/2016); Products of The Cross? (04/27/2016); Called of GOD? (08/02/2015)

“𝐸𝓂𝓂𝒢 α••( ᐛ )α•—”, more than salvation must come into view. Mature Christian believers acknowledge that mankind became subject to death and other unwanted conditions through the transgression of divine law, and may only be corrected and restored through multiple operations of divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). GOD appears among created beings and living creatures within consciousness and self-will (willpower) as active presence, and uses multiple devices and sacred operations to become knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. Included have been sacred law, expiation for sin, family and inheritance, covenant relationships, Incarnation (using human flesh and life process to appear on the earth), priesthood on the earth modeled after that in heaven, promise, prophecy, reconciliation, revelation, judgment, and resurrection of the dead.

It is the expression of divine prerogative, consecrated personhood, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD that mankind will exist as a companion to immortal, incorruptible, invisible divinity. Sin has not been eliminated by the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Even so, through the priesthood of Jesus, the living now may be transformed by receiving a fresh endowment of the life essence (breath; spirit; word) that was imparted to Adam at Creation. Men are to undergo the death and burial of their inborn spirit; and become “born again” as the offspring and children of GOD having divine DNA, so to speak. Inseparable aspects of the divine makeup are imparted such as balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. All are to “grow up again” on the earth, and become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (the Advent; the harvest; the Rapture; the Second Coming.)

As vessels of divine seed, sinners who turn to Christ increasingly are to display the image of GOD, and are to resemble, reflect and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Such finite human tools as academic instruction, secular knowledge, carnal reason, science, and self-will can not bring about the salvation of mankind. As developing believers, joint-heirs with Christ, and the new creation, those who are “born again” display new lifestyles and daily routines that include discovery, gradual growth, performing sacred practices (e.g., praise, prayer; worship), study of the holy writings, unselfish service, and suffering. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Jeremiah 31: 31-33, King James Version (KJV): 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

(2.) Romans 6: 3-4, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

(3.) Hebrews 9: 11-15, KJV: 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlYp5ek4I4E.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(03/31/2020) Endure Trials Through Faith

Today, reply is on continuing to express faith as the response Christian believers are to make against the current threats of the covid-19 pandemic. Faith and the many other spirit gifts from GOD do not influence and manipulate human circumstances, events, and conditions so much as they interact and operate to transform the content of human consciousness and self-will. The imbalance, infirmity and weakness among men require responses by divinity that will build up, edify, and nourish the spirit power and substance within the living. Inheritance and mortality were two of the divine devices fashioned from love and mercy that were used to circumvent immediately executing the sentence of death for transgression (i.e., the annihilation of mankind). By these, the process of GOD is revealed to be one like that a smith uses when making objects of metal. The finished product is hardened, tempered, and given its permanent strength first by hammering, then by heating in fire, and then by dousing in cold water. It is written: Hebrews 11: 32-40, King James Version (KJV): 32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. 34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. 39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data shown) posted the following:

What would Jesus do in the current COVID-19 pandemic?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8: 28-31, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: On Behalf Of Others (03/26/2020); The Challenge of Covid-19 (03/22/2020); Leadership By The Church (03/18/2020); Acknowledging Christ as Son (03/08/2020); Miracles and Christian Belief (01/30/2020); Christ Displayed Authentic Humanity (10/09/2019); You Will Receive Power? (12/28/2018)

Anonymous”, among Christians, our best answers to calamity, catastrophe, uncertainty, and upheaval must continue to express the faith we ourselves have received from GOD, and that we are to minister to others. The current focus that death and destruction will overspread the earth because of covid-19 expresses our human concern for the features of life that pertain to the flesh (e.g., appetite, sensation, emotion), and does not also address the features of life that pertain to the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ carried out a ministry among men on the earth that addressed the process and substance of the Spirit from GOD that exists within comfort and forgiveness from divinity, divine law, prophecy, unselfish service, and godly suffering. Mankind has been in a continuing condition of mortality since the fall of Adam. By divine dispensation, the sanction of death against transgression that came upon mankind in the fall of Adam is delayed and postponed to appear as the second death that will follow final judgment. Multiple sacred operations also have been created to continue the existence of mankind as a companion to immortal, incorruptible, invisible divinity. Included are adoption, glorification, justification, redemption, resurrection from the dead, salvation, and sanctification.

Mature Christian believers agree that divinity appeared in the earth using human form and life process as Jesus Christ (the Son of Man) to continue the priesthood granted to Adam that was modeled after the sacred observances in heaven. As the Son of GOD, Jesus responded to covenant law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of divine fullness. Christ prepared mankind to receive a fresh endowment of life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) that would establish his followers as the new creation. Finite human tools of intellect, logic, carnal reason, and self-will (willpower) can not bring about the elimination of sin. Even so, the living can be equipped to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus that expresses commitment, discernment, and reconciliation to GOD. Through the ministry of Christ as a divine High Priest, an atonement for sin has been made, and inseparable aspects of divine fullness are imparted to indwell humanity. Included are faith, holiness, hope, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Christ has demonstrated the operations and substance of divine spirit residing within flesh. Just as human self-will can not eliminate sin, men on the earth who are anointed and ordained as vessels of divine spirit can not dismiss or remove mortality. The deposits of divine spirit that believers receive enable an uninterrupted focus on Christ, and increases the ability to endure bereavement, conflict, contradiction, disaster, loss, and ruin. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Douglas Miller:

(1.) 2nd Timothy 1: 7, King James Version (KJV): 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

(2.) Luke 13: 1-5, KJV: 1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

(3.) 1st Peter 1: 3-9, KJV: 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENv7zIo_j9M.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(03/22/2020) The Challenge of Covid-19

A depiction of the corona virus that causes covid-19 infection as it might appear using an electron microscope

Today, reply is on whether covid-19 is a punishment sent by GOD against mankind. To Christians, death and the fulfillment of mortality are manifestations of the flesh, rather than the Spirit of GOD. While thousands of deaths are now being attributed to the spread of the virus throughout the world, the gift of spiritual discernment provided to Christian believers indicate no clear sacred events, divine manifestations, or operations of the divine fullness are appearing through covid-19. The fulfillment of divine promise, revelation, and salvation are being continued as the most necessary and visible works of GOD. That the Advent (day of the Lord; the harvest; the Rapture; the Second Coming) arrives “as a thief in the night,” states that there will be no further atonement or warnings as provided through the ministry of Jesus Christ. It is written: 2nd Peter 3: 9-13, King James Version (KJV): 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; A fighter in the “Yahoo! Is God punishing mankind with the coronavirus?
I heard a traditional Catholic priest say in his sermon that God is punishing mankind for his sins. He was comparing the coronavirus pandemic to the Flood as recorded in the Book of Genesis.

Is God punishing mankind with the coronavirus?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3: 16-21, KJV)

Corey”, Jesus Christ is to be received as an High Priest who makes atonement for sin. Divinity does not use corruption, decay, rot, and surprise attacks to communicate with mankind. Even so, there are ongoing acts of divinity that will be completed without further warnings. GOD has used consecrated spokespersons to announce and proclaim forgiveness, opportunities for repentance, and possibilities for reconciliation as well as plagues and punishments that appear as expressions of divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Mature Christian believers are encouraged by the agreement that exists among the record of sacred events shared in the holy writings, divine law, the proclamations of prophecy, and the Incarnation of Jesus Christ that all demonstrate existence and life for mankind as a companion to divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) are unchanging aspects of divine intent. The commandments uttered to Adam and repeated to Noah, “Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth”, were given no expiration dates, and have not been annulled, canceled, or yet completed to meet the highest divine standards. Thus, believers understand that the works of GOD include a vast range of “unfinished business.” Included are harvesting those who belong to Jesus Christ from the earth; resurrection of the wicked for their final judgment; the destruction of the Devil; the elimination of mortality and sin; placement of the New Jerusalem on the earth; and the second death. Much of the corruption and disease we see in the earth has appeared through the operations of mechanical process and natural law, and are not a direct expression of divine will. More than the destruction of life on the earth, the highest divine objective is salvation. Consider again the following expressions of love and divine admonition that use language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) Luke 12: 4-5, King James Version (KJV): 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

(2.) Hebrews 10: 26-29, KJV: 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

(4.) Hebrews 9: 24-28, KJV: 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

(12/26/2019) Where Is The Sacrifice?

Today, reply is on mankinds acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as a lamb of sacrifice for atonement, and the spirit process and substance that resides within practices such as fasting, giving, offerings, and worship. For Christian believers, focus should not be on the monetary value of livestock, manpower, time, or other in-kind contributions of service and skill. Eternal purpose and Spirit substance are to be made manifest and returned to GOD such as commitment, compassion, fidelity, gratitude, holy boldness, personhood, vigilance, wisdom, and wrath against sin. It is written: 1st Chronicles 29: 16-18, King James Version (KJV): 16 O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own. 17 I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee. 18 O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee: A fighter in the “Yahoo! And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12: 1-2, KJV)

Simon”, you are asking for information that has meaning only within a framework for speaking of sacred spirit. As they are preparing to receive Jesus Christ at his coming, developing and mature Christian believers increasingly acknowledge that the operations and substance of divinity pertaining to eternal life are immutable, incorruptible, and invisible, and, therefore, have been revealed using material objects, graphic events, and the imparting of spirit substance from the makeup of divine fullness. Included have been fresh endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; word); the burning bush that appeared to Moses; the divine law written by the finger of GOD on tables of stone; and divinity appearing in human flesh (we say, Incarnation) as Jesus Christ. While only those ordained as priests were to make the required offerings and sacrifices of blood within the tabernacle and the temple, the blood itself was only a device to convey and transport unseen elements within the living that include consciousness, existence, life, and self-will (willpower). Common fire may be used for cooking, heating ones home, providing light as candles, etc. Animal sacrifices and material things placed on the consecrated altars were purified using holy fire that simultaneously destroyed defilement, sin and uncleanness while releasing gifts to GOD such as glory, honor, obedience, personhood, readiness, repentance, respect, reverence, unselfishness, and willingness. Such gifts can not be apprehended using the finite human tools of academic and secular knowledge, logic, philosophy, carnal reason, and science. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) Hebrews 13: 11-15, King James Version (KJV): 11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. 12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. 14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. 15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

(2.) 1st Peter 2: 1-6, KJV: 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

(3.) Hebrews 7: 19-28, KJV: 19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. 20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: 21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) 22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. 23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: 24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the peoples: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

(12/22/2019) Blame and Punishment Removed?

Today, reply is on the multiple appearances of blame and punishment within the holy writings. For created beings and living creatures to correctly discern and resist the operations of sin, all must receive fresh endowments of spirit substance imparted from the makeup of GOD. Sin has not been put forth from divinity, has no sacred content, and is no ordinary physical object you may put in your pocket. Sin opposes the continued existence of all sacred law, the Lawgiver, and the divine order that serves as the universe. Sin promotes a return to the chaos, confusion, and flux that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth (we say, preexistence). Sin may dominate consciousness and self-will (willpower) within the living; and can not be controlled or eliminated using finite human tools such as emotion, imagination, logic, and carnal reason. Responding to sin, to one another, and to GOD require a correct understanding of sin. Divine mechanisms and operations now exist to release mankind from sin, and restore the living as companions to divinity. It is written: Ezekiel 33: 11-20, King James Version (KJV): 11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. 13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. 14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; 15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. 16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. 17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. 18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. 19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. 20 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways. One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answer” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

If all references to blame and punishment were removed from the Bible, would it represent a better set of teachings, despite being shorter?

Updated 2 mins ago:
Or are blame and punishment simply too central to Christian teachings, the Bible would lose a lot of its appeal to the simple minded followers who yearn for people to be punished?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20: 10-15, KJV)

Anonymous”, a full and complete revelation of GOD requires the appearance of divinity on the earth using human flesh as Jesus Christ. The teachings of the Bible focus on the appearance of the divine priesthood on the earth entrusted to Adam that was patterned after the sacred operations within heaven where Jesus is High Priest. The issues of correction and remission for sin with forgiveness and reconciliation exist as (1) artifacts of divine order, (2) immutable conditions for the continuance of heaven and earth, (3) the sanctions appearing within the law, (4) unchanging eternal purpose, and (5) the expressed will of divinity (we say, the proclaimed, sovereign will of GOD). Through divine works (e.g., anointing, birth, aging, death, resurrection) that make divinity knowable, known, visible and approachable, created beings and living creatures are granted “sacred knowledge” and inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of GOD that men must contain so they bear the image of GOD, and may resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Included are balance, completeness, faith, forbearance, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

When divine fullness appeared to Moses, GOD permitted the prophet to see aspects of his glory, and declared to Moses with an audible voice how divinity was to be known and spoken of. In addition to the authority and power that appear in Creation, the presence of GOD who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible spirit is to be acknowledged as a deliverer and savior, and as a “God of judgment.” Judgment involves more than condemning and damning finite human attitudes, behavior, and conduct. Divine judgment includes (when possible) applying mercy to those who are guilty; assigning and establishing meaning, standards, and values; delivering admonitions, cautions, and warnings; determining the absence/presence of divine substance; distributing divine rewards; eliminating the operations, presence, and effects of sin from the universe; gathering and grouping tools and workers; making visible otherwise hidden aspects of divine fullness (e.g., grace, impartiality, restraint, righteousness); providing clear examples that demonstrate correct responses to divinity; and continuing existence along with eternal life. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible; and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Green:

(1.) Exodus 34: 4-8, King James Version (KJV): 4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone. 5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the childrens children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. 8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

(2.) Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14, KJV: 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

(3.) 1st Corinthians 3: 11-17, KJV: 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every mans work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every mans work of what sort it is. 14 If any mans work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any mans work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

(12/10/2019) More Required Than Crucifixion?

Today, the reply acknowledges that more than dying on the cross was provided by Jesus Christ during his ministry on the earth. Jesus served as an anointed High Priest to make atonement for sin. The good works Jesus performed included comfort, exorcism, healing, miracles, and teaching. In addition to fulfilling divine proclamation, promise, and prophecy on the cross, Christ became the embodiment of sin, and was destroyed by the Godhead in accord. More than this, the Savior established the new covenant promised to the Jews that also applies to all mankind, and Christ addressed the human predicament that resulted from the operations of sin by furthering the restoration of humanity through forgiveness and reconciliation. Because of his resurrection, those who come to Christ now receive eternal life, and exist as the new creation. It is written: Psalms 51: 9-12, King James Version (KJV): 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Did the all knowing magic god Jesus know his crucifixion was a total waste of time and that humanity would keep on sinning?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christs stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2nd Corinthians 5: 17-21, KJV)

Bob”, as surely as Jesus knew that there would be mockers and scorners like those appearing in this public forum, the Son of the Highest understood that the redemption and salvation of mankind requires more than (1) forgiveness and forbearance; (2) more than the appearance of divinity in human flesh (we say, Incarnation); (3) more than that Jesus endure the conditions for existence and life that resulted from the sin of Adam (we say, the human predicament that includes agony, humiliation, mortality, and suffering); (4) more than death of a holy one on the cross to provide pure blood for a priestly atonement; and (5) more than resurrection from the dead to establish a new platform for divine judgment that provides grace and mercy in addition to the second death.

Mankind would have to receive fresh endowments of the same life essence (breath; spirit; word) originally imparted to Adam from the makeup of GOD. As companions to immortal, incorruptible divinity mankind is to resemble, reflect, and reveal the image of GOD, and display the character and nature of Jesus Christ. Sinners who become “born-again” receive into their consciousness and self-will inseparable aspects of divine fullness. Included are balance, completeness, expectation (hope), faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Those who are born-again are to “grow-up again” while living on the earth, and are to become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (we also say, Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming).

Developing and mature Christian believers now are in an ongoing process of transformation through discovery, gradual growth, sacred practices (e.g., fasting, praise, prayer), study of the Scriptures, unselfish service, and the endurance of suffering. Death and all sin will be eliminated from the lives of those called “the just,” and they will be made perfected as they meet the Lord in the air. There first must be tribunals of judgment against “the wicked” before sin is eradicated from their lives, and they themselves are released from existence. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the acapella music ministry of Glad;

(1.) 1st Corinthians 1: 17-18, King James Version (KJV): 17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

(2.) 1st John 1: 5-10, KJV: 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(3.) Revelation 21: 6-8, KJV: 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rmu9V5kEHQ.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
