(08/26/2020) The Inheritance From GOD

Every inheritance entails more than a transfer of goods and wealth. Accountability, acknowledgment, duty, renewal, and respect also should appear.

Today, reply is on mankind’s inheritance from the living GOD, and the duty of those abiding on the earth to perform divine service as chosen agents on behalf of the deceased. In addition to blessing, glory and revelation the inheritance from divinity to those on the earth includes covenant relationships, divine law, praise, prayer, promises, prophecy, rebirth, resurrection life through Jesus Christ, sacred events (miracles), sacraments (practices to sanctify believers), and the holy writings. Mankind is correct to confess and proclaim an inheritance from GOD as the heirs of Adam and the Patriarchs. Yet, many respond as did Jacob the son of Isaac, who connived and schemed to gain the benefits and privileges that were to be given his older brother. Jacob first saw the manifestations of the inheritance from GOD hours following the blessing of Isaac. Until then, despite having obtained the birthright of the firstborn from his brother Esau, Jacob experienced only an inheritance directed by and to the flesh. Jacob acknowledged that the vision of angels ascending and descending a ladder to heaven truly was sent by GOD, and he was able to receive the revelation that Christ is above, and is served by the angels. Even so, for Jacob, GOD continued to be only the GOD of Abraham and the GOD of Isaac, and not yet the GOD of Jacob. Properly understood, the living are to fulfill human potential as well as divine proclamation, promises, and prophecy. As agents of those departed, the living are to carry out such necessary tasks as forgiveness, praise, repentance, sacrifice, and thanksgiving. Where the Holy Spirit is present in the awareness and self-will of created beings and living creatures, inseparable aspects of divinity will appear as a fresh endowment of the same life essence that was imparted from GOD to Adam (i.e., breath; spirit; utterance; word). The Incarnation of divinity as Jesus Christ has been provided to further the transformation of mankind to exist as immortal and incorruptible. It is written: 1^st Peter 5: 2-4, King James Version (KJV): 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. My father verbally promised money to his church before he passed away, but his written will didn't include any such gift?

The attorney followed the will and his church didn't get any money. Now the church is harassing me demanding I give them money.

Is there ever a sutuation where a written and recorded will can be successfully challenged based on a deathbed verbal promise when the person has dementia and is only occassionally lucid?

“Anonymous”, the living may not save the dead through apologies, baptism, and good works; yet, the deceased are to be “remembered”, rather than condemned, and the resurrection life of Jesus is to appear by the dead also. For Christian believers, the character, operations, and substance of inheritance are not to center only on public displays of affection; the transfer of material goods and wealth; the recognition and development of connection and relationship on the basis of shared physical skills, talents and traits (e.g., eye, hair or skin color, height, weight, etc.); or the lawfulness of mandates imposed on ones siblings, spouse, and extended family. There also should be an acknowledgment of personal relationship, and otherwise unseen things that include commitment, enlightenment, intent, and purpose. Rightly understood, inheritance pertains to delegation of sacred authority, dominion, judgment, and priesthood. Just as the outcomes of judgment are not by inheritance and the son is not punished for the sins of the father, forgiveness, repentance and grace are provided as gifts from divinity and expressions of divine prerogative. The primary heir is usually granted a double portion of an inheritance so the “unfinished business” of the deceased may be carried out (e.g., among 3 heirs there are 4 portions; among 6 heirs there are 7). The deceased, who may have been corrupt, wicked and vain, is to be presented to the community at large having a new image and a new name from GOD. Where possible, their remaining debts are to be paid; and benefits and privileges are to be provided in their name that heal, nourish and revitalize the community. The proof that we have truly known the deceased is not that we celebrate or indulge the same appetites and weaknesses they embraced through their lifetime. There will be an acknowledgment of who they could have become, and the affirmation of their hearts, their spirit needs, and their unspoken requests for the things in life that they found to be higher and out of reach. Focus is not on their failures and sins; eternal purpose and what they (and we) may yet accomplish through Christ are the agenda. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Isaiah 38: 18-20, King James Version (KJV): 18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. 19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth. 20 The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.

John 11: 19-27, KJV: 19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. 20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. 21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. 23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. 24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

(3.) 2^nd Corinthians 4: 11-16, KJV: 11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you. 13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Today, reply is on discernment, Incarnation, and the availability of descriptions for the physical appearance of Jesus Christ. Fully apprehending, realizing, and “seeing” Jesus will acknowledge both his carnal aspect (his flesh) and his divine aspect (his spirit). Features established within Jesus by the Holy Spirit (e.g., genuine anointing to prophesy, glory, righteousness, godly servitude) must be recognized and responded to by the application of ones own spirit content from the makeup of GOD. “Michael”, many Christian believers agree that the physical appearance of Jesus Christ can not be correctly described because greater focus must be upon his revelation and appearing from the Godhead (we also say, divinity; the divine fullness; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). While many painters and artists have depicted Jesus with a glow, a halo, or a nimbus above his head, the holy writings describe Jesus as being average, nondescript, and not standing out in a crowd. Jesus displayed authentic humanity through his birth, gradual growth, preaching ministry, and death. Such traits as his eye and hair color, his nose, brow, other facial features and elements of human form were intended so that he might blend in with those to whom he was sent. That one of his apostles, who had lived with him on a daily basis for the three and one half year of his ministry on the earth, would be recruited to betray him by approaching and kissing Jesus during the darkness before daylight is a further aspect of the mysteries of divine Incarnation.

Developing Christians are encouraged to practice discernment wherein their own spirit content imparted from the makeup of GOD is used as the standard to examine, recognize, and respond to the spirit substance within events, lessons, other persons, prophecy, etc. Jesus Christ is to be seen, today, in the Christ-likeness and eternal purpose that appears among his born-again disciples, followers and joint-heirs who now also exist as the offspring of GOD and vessels of divine substance. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Isaiah 52: 7-10, King James Version (KJV): 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! 8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. 9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. 10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

2. (12/25/2017) Divine Holiness and Sanctity

Today, focus is on the gift of holiness as an aspect of divine fullness that may be imparted to reside within the living.  Among Christian believers, a gift bestowed on one is a benefit to the whole body.  Jesus Christ has demonstrated that men on the earth are to be vessels of holiness.  When Moses approached a burning bush that gave off no smoke or ashes, he heard a voice command that he take off his shoes.  What appeared to him as common soil—the ground he was standing on—was “holy”.  Until admonished and instructed by GOD, the former prince of Egypt could not recognize that a sacred event was occurring, or that holiness was being made present and revealed.  Holiness only appears and is manifest by the active presence who is GOD.  That the makeup of the three persons of a single GODhead is entirely of spirit substance, and is exalted, immortal, incorruptible, and sovereign separates them from all created beings and living creatures.  Through the Incarnation divinity appears on the earth as Jesus Christ using the flesh and form of mankind; and the possibilities for humanity to contain endowments of divine spirit content have been permanently changed.  Sinners who continue under a sentence of death for their transgression of sacred law, now are granted forgiveness, atonement, cleansing, and rebirth whereby they become a new creation.  The fighter in the “Yahoo! “Breakthrough”, perhaps you will discern that this reply is a gift from GOD to every honest heart that wants to know him this Christmas morning:

It is a mistake, and “human error” to analyze or seek to examine divinity using Aristotelian logic and science that seeks to classify, and describe nature in accordance with discrete elements and measurable parts.  Many mature Christian believers understand “holiness” to be one of the many inseparable (where you find one you find them all—however, perhaps not in the same measure and proportion) aspects of spirit fullness that describe the makeup of GOD.  GOD is a spirit whose substance includes balance, completeness, faith, person, presence, and other qualities that do permit communication, exchange, and interaction among sentient ones.  All created beings and living creatures have received existence, their defining nature, their material form, and distinctive traits from GOD by his imparting aspects of his own life essence (i.e., breath, spirit, Word).  Included are forbearance, gratitude, hope, humility, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, purity, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Holiness pertains to the absolute authority, consecration, purity, and sovereignty of GOD.  Without presumption, mankind may acknowledge holiness as appearing through such elements as glory; illumination and insight; Incarnation; love; miracles; praise; obedience (the voluntary putting aside of ones own will to perform the will of another); rebirth; resurrection from death; reverence; sacred knowledge as with divine law, proverbial wisdom, and prophecy; sacrificial giving (willingness to make offering that acknowledges divinity regardless of the cost or difficulty to oneself); vigilance; thanksgiving and truth.

(11/13/2016) Birth, Self-will and Sin?

Today, reply is made to a question on why Jesus was born sinless.  The origins of sin in the life of a newborn are inheritance that inclines and predisposes a child to gravitate to sin along with the increasing exercise of their own self-will.  The birth of Jesus Christ occurred following operations of the Holy Spirit within a virgin who had been specially sanctified and prepared to be used by GOD.  The divine plan to recover mankind from sin also involved providing rebirth as well as imparting fresh endowments of Spirit from the makeup of divinity.  The Savior was to serve both as the Son of Man (Adam) and the Son of GOD.  Jesus, therefore, was a union of flesh and spirit, and fulfilled all the criteria required for him to represent the entire Creation.  Being twofold in the image of GOD, Jesus was an appearing of divine character, exalted nature, sacred process, eternal purpose, spirit substance, and sovereign will.  The Son of the Highest was required both to embody sin on the cross, and endure mortality and death as a common condition resulting from judgment against sin.  Mercy, already in place, would be enlarged to shield those who belong to Christ from the penalty of the second death.  His anointing, ministry, and service was not merely to be that of a prophet and spokesperson from GOD, it was also to be that of a divine High Priest who presides over atonement and propitiation for sin.  A fighter at “Yahoo Answers (India)” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

I thought we are all born a sinner anyway. Then why doesn't Jesus need a Saviour because He was born too?

“Anonymous”, sin is not only a matter of what you do or say (works); sin is a matter of your makeup and what you are missing inside (sacred knowledge and Spirit).  Sin enters a life at birth through inheritance, and growth along with learning.  The consciousness and willpower of the living may become dominated by sin.  Mature Christian believers generally agree that, since the fall of Adam, all human offspring now must exist within a sphere of life (we also say, environment) where sin operates continually.  The living all are born having qualities and traits that readily respond to sin, yet, do not respond consistently to divine law, divine love, and aspects of divine Spirit.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the full Creation.  Even so, sin is no physical substance, or matter that may be transmitted through DNA.  Nonetheless, created beings and living creatures receive the Adamic character, makeup, and nature as an inheritance from their parents.  As children of Adam, many also become dominated by sin through operations of their own awareness and self-will.  Sin may be called an “influence” that has not been created by GOD, and has no effect upon the divine will.  Thus, sinners must be “born again” and receive a fresh endowment of spirit from the Creator.  Included are faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, meekness, patience, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Jesus Christ was born to further reveal divinity (i.e., make accessible, knowable, known, visible) using human form (we say, Incarnation).  The Lord was to accomplish multiple eternal purposes of GOD that would present the image of GOD, release created beings and living creatures from sin, that establish a “new creation,” and proclaim a new heaven and earth soon to come.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Today, definitions and explanations are shared to clarify the connections among blood, death, inheritance, life and sin.  Sin is inherited as a condition for all human existence upon the earth, yet, sin is not a physical trait passed on from parents to their children like ethnicity or eye color.  More correctly understood, sin is a person’s standing (status) with divinity based upon their own deposit of spirit content from the makeup of GOD.  Consider again the following from the New International Version of the Bible (NIV) and the presentation that appears below:    1st John 3:  8-10, NIV:  8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.  9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.  10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are:  Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.  Also, Ezekiel 18:  19-23, NIV:  19 “Yet you ask, ‘Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?’ Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live.  20 The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.  21 “But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.  22 None of the offenses they have committed will be remembered against them. “Anonymous”, among Christian believers, life within humans is believed carried and distributed to all the parts of a material body by the blood.  Eternal life is that condition and state of being established by divine operations to enable and continue unending, intimate association and interaction with GOD.  To say, blood is on someone’s hands or head speaks to their accountability in judgment for termination of life.  Divinity (divine content) is imparted and manifest only through operations of the Holy Spirit (we also say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth).  Life and blood both have part in sacred operations for atonement and unification (i.e., being joined to Deity).  Blood itself is not life; and life is correctly spoken of as breath, essence, spirit, and word.  Spirit itself is the vessel to transport spirit.  Existence is an aspect of spirit; and all things that exist do not have blood, do not have life.  Sin is no carnal, material or tangible thing that exists separate from the active processes of the living that include unseen features (such as attitudes, desires, emotion, intellect, logic, and reason).  Sin is not so much a substance as a continuing condition that alters the course of existence for the living.  Because sin induces the living to be in conflict with divinity, death was instituted as a divine tool for preservation of Creation.  The sin condition was not begun, created or introduced by divinity; and the operations of sin become visible in mankind through human awareness, self-will, and separation from GOD for integrity of being (we say, independence).  Sin opposes the continuing existence of divine law, and promotes non-existence.  Given that sin lacks the character and nature of objects in existence, created beings and living creatures are unable to destroy, eliminate, or even correctly recognize sin as contrary to life.  Through the ministry of Jesus Christ upon the earth as Son of Man and from the heaven as Risen Lord, humanity is receiving divine gifts that provide power to discern, expose, and resist sin.  Included are covenant, law, promise, prophecy, rebirth, repentance, sanctification, and testimony.  Consider the following points from Scripture:

(1.)   Leviticus 17:  10-12, New International Version (NIV):  10 “‘I will set my face against any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them who eats blood, and I will cut them off from the people.  11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.  12 Therefore I say to the Israelites, “None of you may eat blood, nor may any foreigner residing among you eat blood.”

(2.)   Ezekiel 33:  1-7, NIV:  1 The word of the Lord came to me:  2 “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them:  ‘When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman,  3 and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people,  4 then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head.  5 Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves.   6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’  7 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.

(3.)   John 6:  51-56, NIV:  51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”  52 Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”  53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.  54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.  55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.  56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.

There are many other verses that should be carefully considered, correctly understood, and made a part of ones spiritual arsenal.  (For example, (4.)  1st Corinthians 15:  21-26, NIV:  21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in turn:  Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.  24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.  25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.  26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE BATTLE AXE:  Utterance is Spirit (09/08/2013)—(4.)  The substance of GOD is called “divinity,” and the make-up of divinity is sacred content—attributes that exist as inseparable aspects of divine person.  Among the aspects of divinity that have been revealed and shown to created beings and living creatures are existence, faith, glory, holiness, humility, incorruption, life, joy, longsuffering, love, power, righteousness, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  The word “prophecy” should not be understood as a situation where some mad man excites fear by predicting damnation, doom, tragedy and upheaval.  Prophecy describes sacred events and instances where displays of divine content, godly presence and sanctified utterance appear through living instruments and persons chosen by GOD.  Anointing and gifts from The Spirit of Prophecy (also called the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth) allow angels, men, and even dumb animals to serve as spokespersons for GOD, and as tools to accomplish divine operations and sacred process.  While confessions of need, cries for comfort and deliverance, prayer, testimony and witness are fashioned by the Holy Spirit, accusations, blasphemy, boasting, lies, slander and verbal abuse are not, and result by sin.  See Numbers 22:  21-38, Matthew 4:  1-11, Romans 8:  3-17 and Acts 2:  1-21, King James Version.

Shannon, here are a few simple points to consider that are frequently shared (perhaps in different ways and different words) among Christian believers as a starting point for growth and belief in salvation through Jesus Christ:

(1.)  So-called scientific explanations for the origins of mankind, for the earth, and for the universe usually seek to identify a mechanical process, recurring patterns in human emotional, social and psychological behavior (e.g., fear, guilt, immaturity, lust, pride, shame), or schemes for classifying and grouping things together on the basis of shared characteristics (Socratic method and Aristotelian logic).

(2.)  Given that a Creator exists for mankind, the animals, the seen and microscopic unseen things, created beings and living creatures should seek knowledge and wisdom from their designer and Maker.

(3.)  The processes for communication and relationship between divinity and the living are heavily determined by continuing differences between the nature of divine person, and the character and substance of those within the sphere of life.  Created beings and living creatures are restricted to operating through and within carnal, material and social frameworks that include appetite, sensation, time and space.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  For example, (4.)  Christians receive peculiar information about human and other origins as an aspect of the full revelation of GOD.  Instead of eye color, height, weight and human traits, a broad range of divine operations, sacred process and eternal purpose come into view that describe the unique Spirit being who is GOD.  Included are anointing, atonement, baptism, birth, covenant, creation, damnation, death, election, forbearance, forgiveness, Incarnation, glorification, judgment, justification, re-birth, resurrection, and sanctification.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
