Today, reply is on whether the Jews continue to exist as the “chosen people” of GOD. Many Messianic and Christian believers hold that the character, process and substance of GOD are manifest as divine law, and are immutable and unchanging because divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD are being expressed. Through Jesus Christ, Gentiles and repenting sinners who once were denied as the people of GOD and were called “the Uncircumcion” now experience rebirth and exist as divinity’s new creation. I have heard many Christian preachers say that jews are all gods people.Galatians 3:28 doesn’t says different.

“Anonymous”, that Jews through their culture and shared social values still continue to observe aspects of their ancient covenants with divinity is evidenced in the fact that we have just begun the Jewish New Year 5781 following Rosh Hashanah (in Hebrew literally, “head of the year”). Rosh Hashanah is the first of the High Holidays or Yamim Noraim (“Days of Awe”), celebrated ten days before Yom Kippur (in Hebrew, “Day of Atonement”). Mature Messianic Jews and Christian believers hold that the earlier observances to acknowledge the judgment and mercies of GOD have been elevated through the Incarnation and sacrifice of divinity as Jesus Christ who is to be acknowledged as having died in the crucifixion and was resurrected from the dead for the remission of sin on the earth. As in the Bible and other holy writings, all of human history and the entire range of contact and relationship between GOD as Creator and mankind as the created comes into view. The Sabbath for divine rest that is shared with mankind was established among the Jews as an emblem and token of their sanctification (i.e., being set apart to serve divinity). Sabbath-keeping has its value through divine promise and sovereign grace. Many argue that properly understood, the Sabbath appears according to provisions of natural law (the rising and setting of the sun; from sundown to sundown) rather than man-made law, and the Sabbath may not be legislated by churches, governments, and other human institutions. Moses and the mixed multitude of Gentiles who left Egypt and crossed the Red sea on dry land together would witness the manna that fell for 40 years, the pillar of cloud over their camp by day, and the pillar of fire over their camp by night along with the blessing or the curse that would appear for their observance of the Sabbath. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and Great Is Thy Faithfulness, a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

Exodus 31: 12-17, King James Version (KJV): 12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. 14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Today, the reply is on the resurrection of Jesus Christ as an operation carried out by divinity to fulfill sacred law, spirit process, and consecrated purpose, rather than material works to restore the physical body and flesh of a man. The resurrection of Jesus was to accomplish more than returning life to one who is dead; sinners are to be transformed to become the new creation. Multiple divine goals are addressed including judgment to determine those who will receive eternal life as well as judgment to determine the distribution of rewards to those who have been redeemed. Why is it so important for Christians to accept that Jesus rose from the dead? Why make such a bizarre and unlikely event so fundamental?

The life essence (breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of the Creator gives man possibilities and a potential to display the character, process, and substance of Deity without also removing their integrity and soundness as finite beings. Like the imparting of gifts from the Holy Spirit, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a divine demonstration (we say, an act in good faith; a down payment; an earnest) to show the validity of all divine judgment, promise, prophecy, and revelation. Believers receive a fresh endowment of such elements as balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Consider again the following that uses language from the holy writings, and a selection from the music ministry of Dallas Holm:

Today, reply is on the divine use of angels who also appear to mankind displaying human form and process. The holy writings document angelic visitations as one of the many divine operations used to clarify both the sanctions of sacred law that oppose transgression, and the sacred provisions for the correction and recovery of mankind from sin. Included are death, deliverance, mortality, rebirth, and the second death. Divinity now requires there be more than a spirit form for things from GOD appearing in the earth; there must be recognizable spirit content, process, and substance. “Leila”, the process of Christian belief is one of gradually coming to correctly know and understand the operations and substance of divine spirit. Things that are too high for mankind because they communicate awe, mystery, and wonder have been focused and softened to be suitable for human experience; thus, the core of our sacred knowledge consists primarily of human eyewitness reports and testimonies. GOD is a spirit (we say, breath; active presence; divine fullness; word from an anointed language and celestial vocabulary) who appears and is manifest to mankind even without using material form, measurable dimensions, familiar similitude, or any fixed visual configuration. Divinity can be known to the living because spirit may exist and occupy the consciousness and self-will of created beings and living creatures. GOD has used various settings and devices that provide men on the earth with material experiences of immortal, invisible divinity that are graphic and memorable. Included are the ram caught in the thicket that appeared to Abraham, the burning bush that was displayed to Moses, the glory of GOD that was proclaimed and shown while Moses was in a cleft of the rocks, and divinity using human flesh and life process to appear on the earth as Jesus Christ (we say, the Incarnation).

The divine use of angels as companions, messengers, sentinels, or spokespersons from GOD to mankind may be found within the holy writings in accounts that go back as far as Eden. Descriptions and depictions of angels as celestial beings, as those appointed by GOD to exercise dominion over the natural world, and as those who may continually appear in the presence of GOD often include their adornment having multiple faces, lights, wheels, and wings. Thus, the prophets describe cherubim and seraphs as “other worldly”. No angels were reported to have appeared to Noah; and their appearance having the form of ordinary men occurs with Abraham, with Daniel, with Lot and his family delivered at Sodom, with Mary at the tomb of Jesus, and with the apostles assembled at the ascension of Jesus.

The revelation of death as finite, and life to mankind as an eternal purpose unfold over the course of thousand of years and includes the use of sleep to protect Adam during the creation of the female; the removal of Enoch from the earth through translation; the prophet Elijah taken up by whirlwind and a chariot of fire; and Lazarus called forth from the tomb. The angel who appeared to Joshua as Captain of the Host is regarded as an early appearance of Jesus Christ prior to his Incarnation. As with the use of miracles, the use of angelic visitations did not always result in men having greater faith; their responses included confusion, defiance, fear, skepticism, superstition, and uncertainty. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot:

(1.) Today, reply is on the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the imparting of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD as the primary divine tools that result in commitment and Christian belief, rather than the Lord’s ministry of miracles. Miracles, wonders, and peculiar events conforming to mechanical process and natural law were used by divinity as signs to indicate the divine origin and certainty of fulfillment for demonstrations, proclamations and oracles delivered by those serving as consecrated seers, prophets, and spokespersons. The life and ministry of Jesus on the earth were to actualize, fulfill and seal the many sacred promises, prophecies, and signs that appear in the holy writings. Included are admonitions, covenants, judgments, divine law, revelation, and visions. Carnal and secular knowledge, superstition, and the occult all are exposed as vain (i.e., void of divine substance). It is written: 1^st John 4: 1-6, King James Version (KJV): 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. “Anonymous”, among mature Christian believers, it is the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the imparting of the Holy Spirit to indwell his followers that establish Jesus as authentic, and truly sent by GOD. The church has been warned that in the last days deceivers will present counterfeit miracles. The church displays the image of GOD through those born again who resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. More than simply teaching the proclamations, principles, promises and prophecies from GOD, Jesus went about fulfilling the word. Also, Jesus was acknowledged and endorsed by those whom the people respected as living prophets of the day including both Simon and Anna, who for years appeared daily in the Temple at Jerusalem awaiting the appearance of Messiah, and John the Baptist who had served in the priesthood there. As an evangelist and traveling preacher, Jesus taught from the holy writings, cast out devils and unclean spirits (we say, performed exorcism), and healed multitudes of the sick appearing in the synagogues, and in open areas (e.g., the seashore, the mountains, the plains). He did not rely on the miracles he performed that included changing water to wine, calming the storm, providing abundant supplies of fish when the fishermen first took nothing in their nets, feeding the hungry crowds using the small offerings that had been shared (e.g., 5 loaves, 2 fish), and walking on the water. While the operations of Spirit substance from divinity that include faith may result in miracles, miracles do not always result in faith. Some will respond to miracles with appropriate awe and express gratitude toward GOD, however, many also become afraid, confused, skeptical, and unbelieving. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot:

Numbers 14: 20-23, King James Version (KJV): 20 And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word: 21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD. 22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; 23 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

Today, reply is on mankind being in covenant with divinity, the problem of sin as an obstacle to all existence, and the miracles at Aijalon where GOD caused the sun and moon to stand still. The holy writings report more than simply the ongoing human predicament that has resulted from sin; there are multiple accounts of one-time events on a divine scale that should be acknowledged as the primary focus of the Scriptures. The process and substance of GOD are revealed through expressions of sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and divine fullness as the origin of life. The natural event of astronomical objects becoming fixed in the sky and suspending the operations of time and space is overshadowed and surpassed in its significance by an incontestable display of authority, power, and sovereign majesty from the Creator acting in judgment and divine wrath against sin. and its supposed result of sunlight lasting into what would have been night so that the Israelites would have time to slaughter their enemies?

Never mind the problem of god stopping the rotation of the earth, or any other such “explanation” that is typically given.

If you are able to comprehend and think about that quote rationally and with an understanding of what it states, you should be able to realize what would ACTUALLY occur concerning that verse in the context of today's knowledge.

A response of “God can do whatever he wants to do” instead of stating the problem is not an answer.

So, what do you think the REAL problem is, even if you believe your god could work around it?

Regardless, what I was getting to is that if you are able think about it rationally, you should be able see what would ACTUALLY occur concerning that verse in the context of today's knowledge.

The point is whether you have the rational capability of recognizing the problem REGARDLESS of whether you go on to pass it off to the supernatural.

“Lighting the Way to Reality”, we need to see with new eyes; to grasp the miracles at Aijalon, our focus has to be on the eternal purpose divinity addressed by making the sun and moon stand still, rather than the human aims and practical goals involved. Mature Christian believers acknowledge the existence of sin that is no imagined, occult, or supernatural thing. Sin is no carnal or material object created by GOD or man, contains no spirit substance, and has not been put forth by divinity. Even so, sin is described as having direction, effect, and presence; and sin may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures. The operations of sin can be observed conforming to mechanical process and natural law; yet, sin itself is an enigma and a puzzle that has no answer and can not be eliminated, explained or dissolved by mankind relying on finite human tools such as intellect, logic, science and self-will (willpower). Sin opposes the continued existence of sacred law, the divine order that is our universe, the Lawgiver, and the existing spheres of life. More than simply destruction through weather events or eruptions that are natural occurrences on the earth, sin promotes a return to the conditions of chaos, confusion, and flux that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth (we say, preexistence).

For man on the earth to apprehend the problem of sin requires more than carnal reason, secular knowledge, and mental focus on material existence. Sin appears as the controlling aspect within the betrayal of divine trust made visible by covenant relationship, the transgression of divine law, and the rejection of sacred provisions for cleansing, correction, healing and restoration. Sinners who turn to divinity seeking relief from sin through Jesus Christ are granted sacred knowledge and divine resources that include a fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD. Included are inseparable aspects of divine fullness such as balance, completeness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, oneness without sameness, righteousness, self-government, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

The process within covenant relationship between the Creator and the created is one of revelation whereby divinity is being made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable to the living. Believers are provided with the same mind-set and consciousness that was in Jesus Christ through discovery, fellowship, gradual growth, observing sacred practices (e.g., fasting, praise, prayer, worship), study of the holy writings, unselfish service, and the godly endurance of suffering. “Bob”, as surely as Jesus knew that there would be mockers and scorners like those appearing in this public forum, the Son of the Highest understood that the redemption and salvation of mankind requires more than (1) forgiveness and forbearance; (2) more than the appearance of divinity in human flesh (we say, Incarnation); (3) more than that Jesus endure the conditions for existence and life that resulted from the sin of Adam (we say, the human predicament that includes agony, humiliation, mortality, and suffering); (4) more than death of a holy one on the cross to provide pure blood for a priestly atonement; and (5) more than resurrection from the dead to establish a new platform for divine judgment that provides grace and mercy in addition to the second death.

Sinners who become “born-again” receive into their consciousness and self-will inseparable aspects of divine fullness. Included are balance, completeness, expectation (hope), faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Those who are born-again are to “grow-up again” while living on the earth, and are to become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (we also say, Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming).

Developing and mature Christian believers now are in an ongoing process of transformation through discovery, gradual growth, sacred practices (e.g., fasting, praise, prayer), study of the Scriptures, unselfish service, and the endurance of suffering. Death and all sin will be eliminated from the lives of those called “the just,” and they will be made perfected as they meet the Lord in the air. There first must be tribunals of judgment against “the wicked” before sin is eradicated from their lives, and they themselves are released from existence. Today, reply is on the sacred events (miracles) recorded in the Bible where Joshua is visited by the Captain of the Host, and GOD caused the sun to remain in the sky shining over a battle on the earth. Readers are to understand that GOD is active against sin, and will pursue sacred law through judgment and warfare as one who is jealous, immutable, righteous, and sovereign. The seven tribes that occupied Canaan were in covenant relationship with GOD before Moses and the others left Egypt. GOD promised their territory would be given to the descendants of Abraham, because the seven tribes betrayed their divine covenant partner through pride, idol worship, and sin. All of their peoples were to be removed from the land by Moses, Joshua, and the tribes of Israel. Developing believers and those who mistakenly impose secular knowledge, mechanical process, and natural law upon the sacred events of Scripture repeatedly misapply the accounts provided to make visible the character, eternal purpose, and exalted substance of divinity. The focus of the holy writings are not human conflicts, conquest, and self-promotion; rather, they highlight the appearance and interventions of GOD that make divinity known throughout Creation, existence, and life. If the Bible is divinely inspired by God the creator, why did Joshua ask God to stop the sun in the sky to make the day last longer..?

Instead of asking god to stop the world from turning for a while so he could finish slaughtering the Canaanites?..it is obvious that it was written by someone who thought that the earth was the centre of all creation and the sun revolved around it.

“thesun”, the focus of Scripture is neither mankind nor the earth. Here are some ideas that may be new for many readers, yet, have been available through those in covenant relationships with GOD as carefully preserved oral and written accounts for many centuries. Among mature Christian and Messianic believers astronomical and material Creation, the created beings and living creatures of heaven and earth, all things that have existence and life (angels, animals, spiritual beasts, etc.) are to be understood as instruments and tools used by divinity to express divine prerogative, eternal purpose, sacred presence, and the sovereign will of GOD. The holy writings document the operations, process, and substance of GOD (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) provided as divine order and priesthood that appear both in heaven and on the earth. Divinity remains invisible, incorruptible, and undetectable by finite human tools of the flesh and mind (e.g., smelling, tasting, touching, intellect, logic, carnal reason). Even so, the Bible is a record of GOD appearing on the earth through thousands of events, occurring within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years. As companions to divinity, men are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the image of GOD, and the likeness of his character and nature presented in Jesus Christ. Divine fullness is made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable to the living through devices that include discovery, fellowship, gradual growth, judgment, sacred practice (e.g., fasting, offerings, praise, prayer), study, unselfish service, and the endurance of suffering. More than this, the tools of divinity that include birth, damnation, death, and resurrection of the dead also feature imparting sacred substance from the makeup of GOD. Endowments of inseparable aspects of divine fullness are imparted to the living such as balance, completeness, faith, holiness, integrity, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) Joshua 5: 13-15, King James Version (KJV): 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? 15 And the captain of the LORD’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Yehoshua 5: 13-15, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 13 And it came to pass, when Yehoshua was there by Yericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, hinei, there stood an ish in front of him with his cherev drawn in his yad; and Yehoshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14 And he said, Lo (no); but as Sar Tze’va Hashem am I now come. And Yehoshua fell on his face to the ground, and did prostrate himself, and said unto him, What saith Adoni unto his eved? 15 And the Sar Tze’va Hashem said unto Yehoshua, Take off thy sandals from off thy feet; for the makom whereon thou standest is kodesh. And Yehoshua did so.

Exodus 23: 20-24, KJV: 20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. 21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. 22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. 23 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off. 24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

Shemot 23: 20-24, OJB: 20 Hinei, I send Malach before thee, to be shomer over thee in the derech, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. 21 Pay heed to him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your peysha’im; for My Shem is in him. 22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his [bat] kol, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. 23 For My Malach shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Emori, and the Chitti, and the Perizzi, and the Kena’ani, the Chivi, and the Yevusi; I will cut them off. 24 Thou shalt not bow down to their elohim, nor serve them, nor follow after their works; but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and completely break down their matztzvot (memorial columns dedicated to idols).

(3.) 1^st Timothy 3: 16, KJV: 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Timotiyos I 3: 16, OJB: 16 And confessedly great is the sod of chasidus [in Moshiach 3:9], who was manifested in basar, was vindicated [proven just] by the Ruach HaKodesh, was seen by malachim, was proclaimed among the Nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in kavod.
