(11/22/2020) Explaining The Earlier Covenants

The images of Abraham (left) and Jesus Christ (right) are shown together acknowledging the connection among the diverse covenants through Abraham, Moses, and Jesus Christ.

Covenant practices and signs are in view, today, responding to a question on the frequent discussions of circumcision that appear from the Apostle Paul. The early church was required to demonstrate that they were anchored in the sacred knowledge displayed among the temple elders and the Rabbis. Paul began his apostolic ministry within the synagogues by appealing to believers among those who regularly attended. At first, belief in Christ was put forth as only a further expression of GODs covenant promises granted to the Jews. However, many of those who escaped from captivity and exile became grounded in tradition, and were determined to restore and preserve the covenant of Moses along with the Torah as what earlier had been provided as the highest blessings from GOD. Circumcision that had been bestowed on Abraham and his household as a mark of covenant relationship was not correctly acknowledged by the time of Moses, nor was circumcision uniformly practiced when divinity appeared on the earth using human form and life-process as Jesus Christ. Christ received circumcision as part of his inheritance and authentic humanity. Even so, circumcision was never intended by divinity as an outward mark of approval and consecration, or as a mark of disgrace and humiliation. Authentic sanctification (being set apart to serve divinity) appears by conformity to covenant law and sacred practices (e.g., observing the Sabbath; tithing; using the prayer shawl); and while circumcision is to be a visible declaration of commitment to relationship with divinity, a man will display his circumcision to fewer than 100 others during his entire lifetime (e.g., companions, doctors, family, etc.). It is written: Romans 4: 8-16, King James Version (KJV): 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, A fighter in the “Yahoo! Why is circumcision mentioned so much in the Bible?

Why was it so important that the Apostle Paul kept referring to it?

Updated 1 hour ago:

Is it a sloppy intrusion by male culture into a sacred text?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. (John 8: 52-58, KJV)

Shallowhale”, your focus is on the flesh, not the Spirit. Just as Christian believers today are to share with skeptics and sinners who seek new lives that release them from the operations of sin, the Apostle Paul was repeatedly challenged to explain what appeared as hidden connections among the operations of divinity through Jesus Christ and the earlier proclamations, sacred promises, and prophecies from GOD. Circumcision was granted to Abraham as a visible sign of covenant relationship between immortal, incorruptible, unseen divinity and mankind. GOD was to be acknowledged as more than an abstract Creator and Maker; divinity was to exist in continuing relationship through spirit process and substance imparted from the makeup of GOD that included balance, commitment, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, mercy for those found guilty in judgment, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. The covenant of Moses that followed some 400 years later provided the divine presence through sacred law, identity as a sacred nation, and as a divine instrument to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of GOD. By focusing on the law as the foremost of all divine blessing, many mistakenly rejected and refused to receive and embody an indwelling spirit that would remove the obstacles continued by finite flesh (e.g., appetite; mind; sensation; self-will (willpower) ). Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Jeremiah 31: 31-37, King James Version (KJV): 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. 35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

(2.) Galatians 3: 16-18, KJV: 16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

(3.) Galatians 3: 26-29, KJV: 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christs, then are ye Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Hebrews 10: 28-29, KJV: 28 He that despised Moses law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/13/2020) The Foreskin And Circumcision?

A depiction of the parents of Jesus affirming his inheritance and offering their child to GOD through circumcision.

Today, the reply addresses the meaning and value of the foreskin and circumcision to thoughtful Christian believers. Through the household of Abraham, circumcision was a token of accord, covenant, and loyalty; even so, through the household of Jacob, circumcision became a token of condemnation, injustice, lawlessness, and wrath. As an aspect of the perpetual covenant shared by divinity with the Jews, circumcision continues to be acknowledged by many as a sign of divine commitments and promises to mankind, rather than a device for flawed judgment that expresses bias, partiality and prejudice, that accuses and condemns ones enemies, or that will reveal who is righteous before GOD and who is not. Through the life, death, and resurrection ministry of Jesus Christ, the meaning and value of circumcision has been transformed and made new. Consider again the following Scriptures that use language from the Bible and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps that appears below. It is written: Colossians 3: 9-14, King James Version (KJV): 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Why was god bothered with foreskins in the old testament?

If he hates foreskins so much, why did he create it?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. (Galatians 6: 14-16, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Godliness Characterizes Authentic Humanity (02/06/2020); Abraham In Divine Judgment (03/10/2019); Abraham Demonstrates Spiritual Growth (05/30/2018); The First “Chosen” People (05/03/2018); A Circumcision of Hearts (01/22/2018); Circumcision of Infant Boys (12/11/2017); Ye Are Abraham’s Seed (07/10/2015)

Anonymous”, the covenant of circumcision began with the household of Abraham further signaled the divine transformation wherein mankind is to exist as the new creation. Many thoughtful Christian believers understand that removing the foreskin of the male penis is a representation of divinity refusing to depend on mechanical process among the living or that divinity must rely on natural law. Circumcision affirms the inheritance from divinity to mankind, and that man is to exist having continuous communication and interaction with the divine fullness. To that end, humanity is to receive fresh deposits and endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; word) and divine law imparted from the makeup of GOD. Circumcision serves as an assurance and sign that GOD is committed to those who bear this or other marks of his authority and image, and that divinity will fulfill all divine promise and prophecy. Created beings and living creatures are to exist as life companions to divinity, sacred offspring, and living vessels who contain divine substance. Removing the foreskin to identify those in covenant relationship with divinity makes visible their embodiment of spirit substance, and involves a mutual sharing of otherwise hidden revelation. Properly understood, circumcision foreshadows and is a step to the Incarnation where divinity appears on the earth using human form and life-process as Jesus Christ.

(1.) Genesis 18: 17-19, King James Version (KJV): 17 And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

(2.) Genesis 34: 24-30, KJV: 24 And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city. 25 And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinahs brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males. 26 And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechems house, and went out. 27 The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister. 28 They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field, 29 And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house. 30 And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.

(3.) 1st Samuel 18: 25-29, KJV: 25 And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the kings enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines. 26 And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the kings son in law: and the days were not expired. 27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the kings son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife. 28 And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal Sauls daughter loved him. 29 And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became Davids enemy continually.

(4.) Colossians 2: 8-12, KJV: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

(12/29/2019) Irrevocable Gifts and Callings?

Today, reply is on the covenant blessings, process, and substance of GOD as final, immutable, and unchanging. The sons and daughters of GOD are to continue the ongoing conversation about the inheritance from GOD. It is written: Romans 4: 8-14, King James Version (KJV): 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: A writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Dean” (Level 1 with 11 points) posted the following:

Why is it the case that, " the gifts and callings of GOD are irrevocable"?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarahs womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. (Romans 4: 15-22, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Now Are Ye Light (09/18/2019); That Not Of Yourselves (08/13/2019); The Interface With Christ (07/01/2019); One Of A Kind (04/21/2019); The Impartiality of GOD (03/18/2019); The Elimination of Sin (11/25/2018); What Divine Salvation Requires (05/15/2018)

Dean”, the covenant of GOD with Israel is to be a “perpetual covenant” grounded in his promise to Abraham. GOD will not repent (i.e., change his mind) for the decisions that were made express the immutable and unchanging character of GOD; and they convey divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of divinity. The gifts of GOD spoken of among mature Christian believers are granted as aspects of divine judgment and a transformation of Creation that is final, impartial, inarguable, righteous, and thorough. Included are such sacred elements as dominion, grace, forgiveness, inheritance, personhood, priesthood, repentance, and escape from the second death. Sinners who turn to GOD through Jesus Christ receive a fresh endowment of the life essence (breath; spirit; word) that resided within Jesus during his life and ministry on the earth. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of The Kings Heralds:

(1.) Genesis 27: 30-38, King James Version (KJV): 30 And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting. 31 And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his sons venison, that thy soul may bless me. 32 And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau. 33 And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed. 34 And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father. 35 And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing. 36 And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me? 37 And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son? 38 And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

(2.) Numbers 23: 19-23, KJV: 19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. 21 He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. 22 God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn. 23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

(3.) Romans 11: 27-36, KJV: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. 33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

(10/02/2019) Through Faith And Patience

The image depicts Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
 purified in the fiery furnace.

Today, reply is on salvation for sinners being primarily through the life and works of Jesus Christ, rather than by a believers own experience of water or fire baptism. The name of Jesus (i.e., his completed, ongoing, and yet to be finished works that are the basis of his reputation as sent from GOD) is to be acknowledged as a full and sufficient divine provision for remission of sin on earth as it is in heaven. It is written: Acts 4: 12, King James Version (KJV): 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Norine” (Level 1 with 97 points, a member since October 01, 2019) posted the following:

How do we reconcile TWO baptisms into "one" (Ephesians 4:5) when there's a water baptism and a Holy Spirit baptism?
Update: @ANON

OTHERWISE YOU ARE

>>>"DAMNED!"<<<

YOU JUST TOLD JESUS TO "SHUT UP" WHICH IS "BLASPHEMY" (MATTHEW 12:31-32)

"REPENT!"

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every mans work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any mans work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any mans work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. (1st Corinthians 3: 11-15, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Baptism Is Not DIY (05/28/2019); Offering Yourself To Christ? (12/27/2018); Preparing For The Rapture (11/09/2018); Baptism, Rebirth, and Resurrection (09/18/2018); When Speaking Of Christlikeness (06/25/2018); The Church Of Jesus (06/18/2018); The Household Of Cornelius (05/17/2018)

Norine”, there are only one baptism and one resurrection from death that can be acknowledged as joining mankind to divinity in rebirth, redemption, and salvation. Just as the presence of Jesus Christ within the fiery furnace preserved the companions of Daniel (Shadrach Meshach and Abednego), those who would have forgiveness for sin and reconciliation to GOD must have the presence of Christ in the life. Consciousness and self-will (willpower) within sinners and developing Christian believers must undergo permanent changes through operations of the Holy Spirit so that they completely abandon the inborn, self-centered process of heart and mind that is an obstacle to realizing the new creation. While all are to be held accountable for the fruitage they themselves produce by word and deed, they also must come to the sacred knowledge that atonement for sin, and the fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word) available from divinity are gifts bestowed on the basis of lovingkindness, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a presentation on readiness for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ from the music ministry of Debra Barnes and the Barnes Family:

(1.) Hebrews 6: 1-3, King James Version (KJV): 1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit.

(2.) Romans 6: 3-13, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

(3.) Colossians 2: 8-13, KJV: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

(05/27/2019) Scripture Has No Ethnicity

A depiction of the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God

Today, reply is on continued Christian acceptance of the ancient holy writings as authentic sacred documents from divinity. Correctly understood, the Scriptures contain sacred mysteries, secrets, and knowledge preserved and shared exclusively as an inheritance to those families and believers set apart for priesthood and godly offices such as counselors, scribes, and teachers. It is written: Hebrews 4: 12, King James Version (KJV): 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Christians why do you follow Jewish scripture?

Hear me out, Jesus came correcting the Jews' misconception of God and his true will. If Judaism at the time was corrupt, what point is there in using their scripture in your new fixed religion?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Ephesians 6: 10-17, King James Version, KJV)

Nin-Em, Priestess of Nidaba”, this may surprise you. Sinners who become developing Christian believers are to regard the holy writings as having no cultural identity, “ethnicity”, or race. Mature Christian believers will respect the holy writings as an embodiment of sacred truth, and an authentic vessel filled with spirit substance from the divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). The full collection of holy writings provide sacred knowledge to mankind in place of secular knowledge; and documents the appearance and operations of divinity in continuing relationships with created beings and living creatures on the earth. A divine point of view is shared wherein GOD appears using thousands of events, within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years. In addition to ceremonies and practices that address atonement for sin, there are chronicles and records from men operating as leaders, judges, kings, parents, priests, and prophets. Accounts also are shared that allow a reader to apprehend the immutable, and unchanging purposes of GOD as well as such topics as the origin, process, and divine use of angels, demons, and sacred beasts.

Christian belief continues to acknowledge Abraham as “the Friend of GOD,” and as a man from the earth chosen to demonstrate the workings of faith required to complement the workings of sacred law. Through the ministry of Jesus Christ as the heir of Abraham, sinners receive a fresh endowment of the life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of divinity. Included are faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. These divine tools allow and encourage communication, exchange, and interaction with GOD through multiple covenant relationships (e.g., clergy, disciples, heirs, servants). Finite human tools such as intellect, logic, philosophy and science can not be relied on to establish the awareness and self-will (willpower) that make active presence knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Isaiah 63: 16, King James Version (KJV): 16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

2. Galatians 3: 26-29, KJV: 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

3. Colossians 3: 5-13, KJV: 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

4.  Romans 3: 1-3, KJV: 1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? 2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. 3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Romans 2: 28-29, KJV: 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(03/24/2019) Places Closer To GOD

Today, reply is on mankind choosing places to be closer to GOD; oneness without sameness; sanctification; and the locations where divinity appeared as present that were marked through memorials and worship. Most of the places named throughout the holy writings are recorded as sites where sacred events occurred, and are not just geographical references. For example, Babellater called Babylon that appears as a place of captivity and restriction for the people of GODis notable as a place where all mankind were smitten by GOD (without using widespread death), and the living were made to be culturally diverse. Following the flood of Noah, all his offspring eventually converged on that location to build a tower that might save them from the next flood event. Despite the promise of GOD that there he would not send another flood, the survivors from Noah demonstrated total agreement, cooperation, and peace on the earth by building a tower that would reach to heaven. In so doing, they dismissed their proper focus and work commanded by GOD: Multiply, be fruitful, and overspread (replenish) the earth. Therefore, their languages were confused, not to punish their sin and wrongdoing so much as to ensure that the earth be populated. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

If God is everywhere, why does going to the top of a mountain make you any closer to God, as in Moses' case?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one anothers speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. (Genesis 11: 1-9, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, among mature Christian believers, all of the many appearances and manifestations of divinity (we also say, divine fullness; active presence; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) are aspects of a single revelation from the Creator to the diverse created beings and living creatures of heaven and earth. To fully apprehend the multiple streams of truth proclaiming that invisible, unseen divinity exists and resides within carnal, material, natural, and social features on the earth, sinners first must become aware and conscious that the character, makeup, process, and substance of divine fullness are the full array of inseparable spirit elements. Included are balance, eternal purpose, faith, forbearance, holiness, perfection, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Separation of GOD from mankind on the earth was first understood by the idea of physical separation of heaven from the earth. GOD was believed to reside within a celestial realm and sphere of life located above the sky and astronomical space. Communication, exchange and interaction with divinity continued on a daily basis through divine visitation, and by GOD appearing regularly within a space familiar and known (the Garden of Eden). However, more than a measurable distance between heaven and the earth, it is the endowment of the living with consciousness and self-will that separate the living from the Creator. There are frameworks for expression by the living that include appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (hearing, seeing, tasting, touching) and emotion/mind (anger, dreams, fear, imagination). While GOD has not put forth sin and wickedness, the operations of sin may determine choice and decision-making within the living. Sin opposes the continued existence of sacred law, the Lawgiver, and divine order throughout the universe.

Reducing the sense of separation between mankind and his maker requires visible elements that have meaning and value from GOD, and that are not simply from the errors, fantasies, fears, and superstitions of men. The meeting place GOD chose from all the many locations on the earth was in the land of Canaan (many say, the land promised to Abram), and in a specific area whose name changes within the holy writings over the course of thousands of years (e.g., Mount Moriah later Mount Zion). Among Abraham and his descendants who all endured a form of nomadic life (e.g., the exodus, the captivity, the persecution that scattered the early church), embodying covenant and imparted spirit became pronounced. Simple objects and structures were created to serve as identifiers and memorials acknowledging divine appearances, the locations where divinity has been encountered, and the places where divinity acknowledged and received offerings, praise and worship. Included have been altars, circumcision, mounds, pillars, shrines, tabernacles, and temples. Even so, redemption and salvation for mankind has required an appearance of divinity on the earth using flesh and bone as Jesus Christ (we say, the Incarnation). Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Genesis 22: 1-4, King James Version (KJV): 1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. 3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. 4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
2. Genesis 22: 9-14, KJV: 9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. 11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

3. Exodus 3: 1-5, KJV: 1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. 2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. 5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 8: 3-9, KJV: 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(03/10/2019) Abraham In Divine Judgment

Today, reply is on the divine revelation received by Abraham, grace manifest as forgiveness and promise, and the Patriarchs place in divine judgment. Divinity is being made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable through sacred law, promise, prophecy and other utterances (we say, breath; spirit; the Word). Created beings and living creatures are to receive and operate in terms of imparted spirit substance from the makeup of GOD. Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, hope, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Thus, the final judgment that will occur to complete the cleansing and transformation of mankind, does not center on deeds and works alone; and final judgment is determined on the basis of the sacred content that has appeared within the living. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “anony” (Level 2 with 349 points, a member since December 20, 2015) posted the following:

Christians: Is Abraham going to hell for not believing in the mysterious Trinity?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: (Romans 4: 8-14, King James Version, KJV)

(06/07/2016); Living In The Light? (01/18/2015)

anony”, among mature Christian believers it is understood that Abraham was granted a covenant relationship with divinity, and did satisfy all the demands placed upon him as the Friend of God. Living and traveling as a nomad, Abram commanded a household made up of his own family with the families of friends and servants. His community numbered in the thousands; and everywhere they went they demonstrated divine order and faith in the true GOD (as would evangelists). Abraham completed righteous works such as establishing wells of water and altars acknowledging Jehovah. Abrahams error and presumptionby marrying Hagar in order to fulfill the prophecy of GOD that Sarah would bear a son through whom all the earth would be blessedwas forgiven him, and fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. Abraham is acknowledged, exalted and uplifted as the Father of the Faithful, because he behaved and walked correctly within the light that he was granted.

The revelation of GOD to make divinity known and approachable to Abraham was not exactly the same as that granted through the covenant with Moses (also called, the law). Even so, the promises to Abraham were intended to benefit all mankind, and have been continued using human flesh, divine law, and sacred spirit. In addition to circumcision, prophecy and sacred visions, Abraham was granted priesthood and privilege to serve through intercession and mediation in the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah. Consider again the following that uses language from the holy writings:

1. Genesis 18: 17-19, King James Version (KJV): 17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

2. Romans 6: 16-18, KJV: 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

3. Galatians 3: 6-7, KJV: 6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

4. Isaiah 63: 16, KJV: 16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Galatians 3: 14-18, KJV: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a mans covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. 16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.) (09/16/2018) Appearing Above In Flesh?

Jesus Christ depicted as Faithful and True, The Word of GOD

Today, reply is on Jesus Christ now appearing in heaven and continuing to use the flesh, image, and full body of mankind. The process of divinity for redemption, salvation, and the putting forth of a new creation has required that Deity appear as the Son of Man, a Man of Sorrows, and our consecrated High Priest within the Temple of heaven. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data shared) posted the following:

Christians: The Bible tells us that Jesus rose body & soul into Heaven. So, is the Penis of Jesus also in Heaven with the rest of His body?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: I was in the Spirit on the Lords day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. (Revelation 1: 10-18, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, there are many unseen spiritual operations that are being made visible through carnal, material, and social features on the earth and in heaven. At a time when issues of church authority, practice and policy are under serious attacks by those demanding that matters of human sexuality and the flesh be given priority above those of the imparted Spirit, the most godly replies to your question will speak to (1) the sacred truths of divine covenant by circumcision, (2) the embodiment of divine fullness (we say, Incarnation of the Godhead; the appearing and revelation of GOD as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit); (3) the ministry and sacred priesthood that allows Christ to suffer, die, and make atonement on behalf of created beings and living creatures as well as (4) the resurrected and then perfected body of Jesus.

To fulfill multiple proclamations, promises and prophecies from GOD divinity had to appear, alive on the earth among the Jews, and minister displaying authentic humanity as Jesus Christ. Fulfilling the terms of earlier covenants, Christ instituted a new covenant in his own blood, and serves as High Priest within the heavens on behalf of all Creation. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Acts 3: 18-21, King James Version (KJV): 18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. 20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

2. Colossians 2: 8-12, KJV: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

3. Hebrews 9: 11-15, KJV: 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

4. Hebrews 9: 24-28, KJV: 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) Revelation 19: 11-16, KJV: 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
