Jesus Christ has cautioned his disciples and those who serve to spread the Gospel that efforts to transform sinners into Christian believers best bear fruit where there also are operations of the Holy Spirit. There is to be a sacred evangelism that will convey divine gifts, endowments of sacred substance, and godly guidance, rather than mere displays anchored in social activism and popular culture. Workers for the Lord are to be vigilant and alert, because they will be in the open and vulnerable to attacks by the children of disobedience, skeptics, and those committed to rebellion against divinity. The wheat we plant and the tares planted by the enemy will be allowed to grow together; even so, there is to be a thoughtful distribution of sacred resources that correctly addresses accessibility, opportunities, needs, preparation, and possibilities. “Anonymous”, those who take up the work of spreading the Gospel are admonished and cautioned by Jesus Christ that evangelism is a work to transform sinners while they are yet entangled by elements of the material and social world. The figure of dogs is used to describe assemblies and groups that continue and promote back-biting, competition, criticizing and judging one another, disrespect, gossip, slander, and quarreling. Unclean animals are unfit to serve as sacrifices and will defile a holy altar, and hogs are extremely dangerous because they have barely visible tusks (horns on the side of their snout) that they use as cutting weapons. An itinerant preaching ministry requires content, doctrine, and multiple operations from divinity that must be acknowledged as expressing sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Those anointed, ordained, and sent by Christ are to resemble, reflect and reveal the Savior’s character and likeness. None are to despair when they encounter exaggerated pride, selfishness, stubbornness, and suffering among those who are ungodly and unteachable. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Galatians 5: 14-16, King James Version (KJV): 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

(2.) 2^nd Timothy 3: 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

(11/05/2020) On Giving and Tithing

Today, reply is on the differences among charitable giving and the rendering of a holy tithe to divinity. There must be a sacred transformation provided by GOD. For many, tithing is primarily an institutional practice for funding evangelism, maintaining ordained priesthood, and sustaining communities for praise and worship. Yet, the promises and prophecies of GOD declare that there will be a holy city (New Jerusalem) that will come down to the earth from heaven; and a time must come when giving and sharing are no longer acceptable as works of repentance because they are to be permanent features of everyone’s ongoing lifestyle. Giving to GOD and receiving from GOD are to be like breathing, a continual life-process required for created beings and living creatures. The revealed goal and purposes of divinity are intended to provide an enduring relationship with divinity and the living. There are multiple traditions among Jews and Christians that proclaim the offering of blood sacrifices to atone for sin, that celebrate harvesting the earth, that certify and make a covenant agreement binding, and that dedicate or provide material tributes to GOD. Rightly understood, such offerings as burnt sacrifices from your own flock on a holy altar that serves as a point of contact for heaven and earth are divine transactions. Common fire may not be used to separate divine substance from material features such as form, shape, size and texture, and can not convey from mankind to GOD the inseparable aspects of his spirit that include commitment, gratitude, humility, life essence, oneness without sameness, personhood, rejoicing, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Tithing confuses many because paying a tithe also speaks to mankind’s dependence on one another, and therefore may trigger finite human emotions of anger, anxiety, embarrassment, guilt, rebellion, and shame. Elements from human economies appear such as boasting, debt-dodging, duty, obligation, reward, and self-promotion. Even so, it remains correct to acknowledge GOD as the origin and source of all physical and spiritual things needed for life (e.g., companionship, food, healthy relationships, shelter). The salvation we are offered in Jesus Christ extends assurances that mankind will be made to exist as perfected, and will reside on the earth made new having immortality and eternal life that have been paid for and purchased through the blood and body of Jesus Christ. Because the gifts from GOD are freely given, the measureless abundance, grace, lovingkindness, and righteousness the Father has revealed to the Son are displayed to the full Creation. It is written: 1^st Corinthians 2: 11-13, King James Version (KJV): 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. “Deana” here are some ideas that may seem strange because they are not familiar. The practice of tithing is continued among Christian believers as part of the permanent change to acquire sacred discipline that sinners must undergo through the operations of the Holy Spirit. Correctly understood, there must be a sharing with divinity—a “giving” without out giving; an exchange, release, and transfer of dominion—where sacred gifts and an unchanging inheritance of spirit substance will be continually acknowledged rather than possessed. Because they are often driven by emotions and feelings (the flesh), charitable giving, community gatherings, and social programs for assistance and relief to others are very different in process and purpose from those that continue consecrated ministry, that establish and maintain opportunities and possibilities for ongoing and lasting relationships with divinity, and that manifest the unseen presence of divinity within the behavior and conduct of others. Consider again the following that uses language from the King James and Orthodox Jewish translations of the Bible with a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

Ephesians 2: 4-9, King James Version (KJV): 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Revelation 21: 1-4, KJV: 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

(10/26/2020) Hidden Substance Is Revealed

Today, reply is on the benefits and purposes for divine tests and trials such as the sacrifice of Isaac by Abraham at Mount Moriah. Acts, deeds, and works that appear as religious among men must meet a higher standard of spirit content to be authentic and valid as aspects of relationship with divinity. The spirit meaning, process, substance, and value of ones works must come into view. For many giving is from pride, obedience is from fear, sacrifice is from idolatry and lust for blood, and zeal is from impatience and restlessness. Throughout the holy writings there are accounts where divinity challenges mankind in order to elevate their priesthood, their preparation to receive the Incarnate Christ, the spirit quality of their service, and their own content as offspring and vessels who contain divine substance imparted from the makeup of GOD. Otherwise immeasurable and invisible sacred elements must be present such as commitment, conviction, reverence, righteousness, and trust. Thus it is written: Malachi 3: 13-18, King James Version (KJV): 13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Why would a all loving and all knowing God tell Abraham to kill his son Isaac to test his loyalty to God?

If God loves his children why would he tell Abraham to kill his son Isaac who he loved most to test his loyalty?. If God knoweth all things like it says in the Bible why would he tell Abraham to kill Isaac to test his loyalty if he knew that Abraham would and was going to until an angel came and stopped him?.

“Darth Vader”, having experiences of Christian discovery, gradual growth, and the fruits of careful learning, practice, and unselfish service, many mature followers of Jesus Christ discern that the challenge by GOD to Abraham was provided to make visible otherwise hidden and invisible aspects of relationship for created beings and living creatures as companions to divinity. Abraham was examined for his content of the inseparable aspects of spirit first shared with Adam as life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word) that must be imparted from GOD for the living to be made fit as a companion to divinity. Included are balance, commitment, faith, holiness, integrity, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Today, reply is on the integrity of divine fullness being in a continuing relationship with created beings and living creatures on the earth along with whether it is “normal” to believe that GOD may die. The death of Jesus Christ on behalf of all divinity was a sacred event that must exist as a one-time act of GOD never to be repeated; and that must be apprehended and received through faith. Among developing and mature Christians, to manifest grace is “normal” for divinity. Today, reply is on the opposition against divinity that resides within mankind through self-will. Human obedience, respect, reverence, and submission to GOD often appear to be predicated on mankind’s willful acceptance and insistence that human traits appear within the divine fullness. It is more consistent with the holy writings that mankind be recognized as a vessel containing divine deposits and endowments from the makeup of GOD. It is by mutuality of a divine character, consecrated presence, and a sacred nature that there are opportunities and possibilities for clear accord, and ongoing communication between the Creator and the created. Discussions of the sacred duty, sacrifice, and unselfishness carried out by Jesus Christ also require affirmation of divinity demonstrating consecrated grace, expressing divine prerogative, fulfilling eternal purpose, suppressing self-will, and manifesting the sovereign will of GOD. Within Christ, sacrifice is no longer a matter of formal ceremony and ritual, rather it is an act of dedication, lovingkindness through judgment, sanctification, and voluntary surrender. Today, reply is on why Christians no longer observe dietary and other prohibitions that are recorded in the Old Testament. The covenant of Moses (we also say, the law) was provided as a “perpetual” covenant. Even so, GOD promised Israel that a new covenant would be made extending to the Gentiles, and to all mankind. While the demands of divine law and eternal purpose remain unchanged, how the living acknowledge, express and fulfill the law is now different. Mature Christian believers acknowledge the fulfillment of the divine promise for new covenant by the life, ministry, death on the cross, resurrection, and ascension into heaven of Jesus Christ along with men on the earth receiving the Holy Spirit. Where Jesus taught that man lives not by bread alone, rather, by every word that proceeds from the mouth of GOD, he also was declaring that life as a spirit process must come into view, not a carnal, material process such as eating and drinking. The word from divinity is to be understood as an appearance of the person and substance of GOD. By his word, GOD is active and present in the form of breath, life essence, speech and spirit. “Anonymous”, there are those who argue that Jesus was a vegetarian, yet, mature Christian believers trust that Jesus regularly ate the lamb of Passover, and would have shared portions from such family sacrifices as calves and bullocks offered in thanksgiving. Today, reply is on the correctness of calling for Pope Francis I to relinquish the crown and throne following the response he made to a woman who grabbed his hand and would not release it as he was acknowledging those among a crowd of believers. Approaching those in roles of accountability and leadership with attitudes and behavior that are overly aggressive, too familiar, and flat-out rude is correctly labeled as “presumption” and “rebellion”. It is not a matter of dispute that the church of Jesus Christ displays delegation of authority; the gradual increase of instruction and intimacy with strangers; multiple levels of sacred knowledge, maturity, and skill among believers; division of labor; hierarchy; and oneness without sameness. Along with balance and discernment, sharpness, sobriety, and wrath against sin will continue to be essential tools within the church. Sharpness pertains to edification and prophecy, not intimidation, verbal abuse, and violence. Even so, within the community of believers in Christ there is never to be a “rush to judgment;” nor is there to be any welcome to accusations, “bad mouth,” cheap talk, gossip, and rumors against either clergy or lay members. It is written: 1^st Timothy 5: 17-22, King James Version (KJV): 17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18 For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. 19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. 20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. 22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure. “Anonymous”, many mature Christian believers acknowledge the correctness of the papal response made during a crowd scene where the Pope was forced to openly rebuke a woman who, in ignorance, presumed to grab and hold on to his hand. Properly understood, the Pope is not a celebrity or public figure; rather, he is a head of state, a living sacrifice, and a spokesperson who appears on the earth using flesh on behalf of divinity, who remains separate, immortal, invisible, and incorruptible. While the anointing, ordination, and sanctity of the Pope are displayed using things material and temporal, his sacred authority and dominion are not to be contested, defiled, or profaned. Also, the Pope is to be acknowledged as a primary elder and pastor for those who are members of a major portion of the church founded on the earth by Jesus Christ. As a caretaker and shepherd over a flock of GOD, the Pope must operate in accordance with divine prerogative; sacred law; imperatives and principles for exchange and interaction that serve as disciplines and regimens of office; eternal purpose; and the sovereign will of GOD. As one required to display the image of GOD, and who must resemble, reflect and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ, the Pope is more than simply another preacher or teacher. The Pope administers and maintains a priesthood on the earth fashioned after the pattern of things in heaven. The priesthood is a caretaker of sacred mysteries, is entrusted to continue sacred practices (e.g., baptism, intercessory prayer, worship), and is to be respected and reverenced as a lawful divine mechanism to continually offer the blood and body of Jesus in atoning sacrifice. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the prophesies and music ministry of The Heralds:

(1.) 2^nd Corinthians 13: 3-11, King James Version (KJV): 3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you. 4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. 10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. 11 Finally, brethren, farewell.
