Today, reply is on the revealed character and nature of sacred judgment and the widespread, yet not commanded expectation of divine wrath against sin that long has appeared among mankind. Anger, cowardice, and fear are human emotions and feelings displayed through the flesh while acknowledging the awe, greatness, holy boldness and divine wrath of GOD are inseparable aspects of their divine fullness along with such features as balance, commitment, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. “Nightwolf”, some confuse being in awe with being afraid. Mankind may not rely only on finite human intellect, carnal reason, and science for a right knowledge of divinity. Here are some points that are to be shared among Christian believers who are preparing to meet Jesus Christ at his coming. Mankind has not been fashioned to be cowardly and to cringe before divinity, yet, all who exist and live throughout the universe are to be conscious that GOD is awesome in every aspect. Rather than acceptance, forgiveness, and divine lovingkindness, many on the earth expect to meet GOD in a judgment that is filled with divine destruction and loathing against mankind. Divinity has appeared and operated in the Creation of heaven and earth, and is to be known as those having dominion and ownership over all that exist and all that have life. In addition to displaying authority, oneness without sameness, power and sovereignty through sacred law and acts of GOD (we say, miracles), divinity is embodied within the life-process and living routines of mankind (e.g., birth, aging, becoming mature, death). Divinity practices judgment (i.e., assessment; assigning meaning and value on the basis of ones content of the spirit imparted from the makeup of GOD; determining ones eternal duration) as a divine prerogative, an eternal purpose, and a necessary expression of celestial majesty. More than a crude and cruel demonstration of divine disfavor, judgment privileges Creation to realize multiple aspects of the character, makeup, and nature of divinity such as balance, impartiality, mercy toward those found guilty in tribunal, restraint, and consecrated righteousness. As creatures from the dust, men cannot apprehend the full breadth and depth for relationship with GOD, yet, numberless provisions have been made to embrace, guide, instruct, and sanctify humanity as companions to the Holy. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection, Draw Me Close To You, from the music ministry of Bishop Marvin L. Winans:

Hebrews 12: 6-11, King James Version (KJV): 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Today, as we complete the transition from the year 2017 ending to the beginnings of 2018 as a year of opportunity and possibility, reply is made to one of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” forum on the ability of divinity to feel pain.  Many correctly acknowledge that GOD is able to display and put forth authority and power over birth, death, existence, life, heaven and hell, the natural world, and the world of spirits, yet, they mistakenly continue to express certainty that GOD is so mighty he must be indifferent, unfeeling, and has little interest in the activity of mankind upon the earth.  Such believers also may hold that divinity is distant, remote, silent and uncaring concerning human needs, or the personal crises, growing pains, sufferings, and woes within families of flesh.  They are to be told, as surely as the divine Father has loved the sacred Son from the foundation of heaven and earth, there is no sadness or sorrow that GOD can not feel; and the Creator is no stranger to compassion, empathy, and what it feels like to be betrayed and despised.  These overlook the interdependence for survival that must exist, and the principles of divine order that maintain the universe.  Like the body (the church) that is made up of different members, and where injury to one part is an injury to the whole, the Creation and the universe are established as having oneness without sameness.   When a single aspect of the fullness for life is damaged or unbalanced there is a disturbing ripple that travels throughout.  This is the case with sin, that opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order. Divine administration to cleanse, heal, and preserve the broad range of things manifest by the sovereign will of GOD, must embrace and reach even to the darkest, smallest, unseen detail.  It is not so much a matter that God does not care as that divinity may only use ongoing, lawful and predetermined sacred process to fulfill the present needs.  “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

“Anonymous”, GOD feels joy, love, righteous anger, and the sensations of a human body through the person of Jesus Christ.  Many developing Christian believers are discovering that the fullness of divinity (we say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is a single active presence (some say, breath, life essence, spirit, Word) who uses the device of personhood when communicating, exchanging, and interacting with created beings and living creatures through ongoing relationships that may be intimate and private.  Divinity also is using multiple sacred operations (e.g., baptism, forgiveness, Incarnation, inheritance, judgment, rebirth, resurrection from the dead) whereby the Creator is made knowable, known, accessible, and approachable.

GOD must be realized as a living spirit, therefore, ones consciousness must become reconfigured and directed to acknowledge and respond to the movement and workings of sacred substance.  To truly comprehend the many profound things from GOD, sinners have to be “born again” by receiving fresh endowments of spirit content from the GODhead, and then “grow up again” to become mature.  All are to display such divine attributes as balance, faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, restraint, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Inseparable aspects from the makeup of Deity can replace the inborn spirit within those who repent and submit.  The “image of GOD” becomes visible to believers who will practice discernment (using their own spirit from the divine makeup as a standard to recognize and respond to the divine spirit within clergy, events, individual persons, prophecy, purposes, the holy writings, etc.). 
By appearing in flesh and human form on the earth as Jesus Christ, the three persons who are one have provided assurance that our own, and the humanity of others, can be genuine expressions of divine being.  Men, women, and children can appear on the earth as legitimate offspring of GOD and joint-heirs with Christ, who display the character, makeup and substance of GOD.  Through Jesus Christ the full GODhead has been immersed in carnal, material, secular, and social realities that include birth, aging, bereavement, condemnation, punishment, torture, suffering, and uncertainty.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  John 4:  24, King James Version (KJV):  24 God is a Spirit:  and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Today, reply is made on death, the substance of divinity, and Hurricane Harvey.  All divine order proceeds from the existence of divinity.  Continuous and uninterrupted divine order are in place as the context and setting for various objects and events.  Multiple regularities have been described and are identified by mankind as occurring on the basis of natural laws and processes within frameworks of time and space.  Sacred events (we say, miracles), intercession, and the use of divine power are not intended to put an end to, or replace natural law.  Divinity operates with restraint and in accordance with sacred law and standards for spirit substance, rather than the finite standards that emerge from natural law and processes, or those generated by human care and emotion.  Thus, the compassion of GOD in response to human needs and suffering is not the same as the mercy of GOD that can appear during judgment.  Having different meanings, power, and purpose, divine compassion is akin to human emotions and feelings, and like our own, ought not arbitrarily and willfully alter or interrupt human events.  By contrast, mercy pertains to divine events, and is applied when determining outcomes of divine assessments.  Using language from the holy writings, then, the saving of the physical body is called “deliverance” while the saving of the spirit is called “salvation”.  The two may occur at the same time, yet, will continue to be on very different levels.  The fighter at “Yahoo! These people died the most horrific death while watching their grandchildren share their tragic and unfortunate fate.

Meanwhile Jesus Christ who loves us all, who watches over us in our time of need, who has all power in the universe, did nothing to prevent the tragedy.

“Pixel”, many who ask your question, or others like it are angry, confused, and hurt such that, when they are given the same answer that provides comfort and encouragement from GOD to those who are believers, they are unable to connect and understand.  This is usually because their purpose in posing the question has been to accuse GOD of cruelty, belittle, disrespect, and insult believers, or demonstrate what they suppose is their own knowledge and superiority.  All that must be put aside, and a thoughtful, adult consideration of mature Christian belief must be taken up.  Consider the following points:

(1.)  Where the “greatness of GOD” could be measured alone in how many babies born, how many college graduates, per capita income (that some call prosperity), or how many successful surgeries there have been, the spirit substance, power, and sovereignty that resides within GOD would not be clearly recognized and properly acknowledged.

(2.)  The relationship of the created to the Creator is that of dependency.  Through the revelations to make divinity knowable, known, and “visible” to created beings and living creatures, mankind have been freely given instruction regarding the origins of mortality as a continuing condition for human existence and life.  Sin that opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and all divine order must come into view.  All things that exist do not have life; and many of the processes for life are mechanical and repetitive (e.g., aging, birth, learning, recovery from sickness).  Even so, acknowledging the natural laws and standards that allow life to continue, the living do have some measure of control to determine the extent of their own mortal lives.

(3.)  The true people of GOD, do not complain that they have been challenged by a great storm, that they have lost belongings and property, or that they have lost loved ones now that they knew could otherwise be taken away at any moment.  Believers trust the love of GOD is no less in times of hurt, loss and trouble.  GOD continues as the Supreme Being, and is no less worthy of gratitude, obedience, and respect.  Their understanding includes:  Romans 8:  5-9, King James Version (KJV):  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. (01/13/2017) The Comfort Through Christ?

 

Today, reply is made on divine provisions for communication with the dead.  Sinners are to communicate with GOD through prayer, for the dead can not speak to the living or release those upon the earth from the sudden invasions of fear, a profound sense of loss, spiritual confusion, and a sense of no longer having power to love or ever be happy again.  For those who lose loved ones, there has to be growth and a shift away from their emotions and feelings.  Thus, Christian believers are to console others with the same consolations they themselves receive from GOD.  Multiple comforts are shared through the ministries of Jesus Christ that have healing power and light for those enduring bereavement.  That death be acknowledged by everyone who must complete the condition of existing as mortal should not be regarded as a rejection or undue burden upon mankind by GOD.  Death is a sacred tool that permits resurrection and other aspects of new creation that include rebirth, repentance, sanctification, and hope.  The writer at “Yahoo! Are there rules in Heaven that people in Heaven can not communicate directly with their loved ones?

My Father had passed away in August of 2016 and have been doing a lot of thinking lately.

I would not consider myself a religious person, as I have only attended church a hand full of times in my life- however I would consider myself a Christian and I live my life my just being a good, honest, person and just doing what I feel is right.

I know my Dad is in Heaven- but are there rules in Heaven? Like people who make it to Heaven can not directly communicate with their loved ones? Sometimes I will ask my Dad to show me a sign that he is listening or hears me and I get nothing as I look up to the sky and hope I see a star glisten or something. So it makes me wonder- Is it written anywhere that people in Heaven are not aloud to directly communicate?

Lately I have been getting a lot of subtle little signs (I will see something with my Dads name on it, or a song will come on out of nowhere that he likes, etc.)

Are these those signs that Im looking for that he is listening and watching over me and my family?

“n”, many Christian believers agree that the comfort we receive at the loss of loved ones can be very personal, private,  and specific to the shared experiences we had while they were alive.  However, the most necessary consolation to those who are bereaved is not truly private and secret.  Through Jesus Christ, ongoing divine operations are now in place to transform individual and isolated sinners into members of a living body filled with imparted Spirit from the makeup of divinity.  Therefore, the tools used by GOD to comfort those who mourn include such provisions as administering an inheritance and completing the unfinished business of the deceased, faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, joy, divine law, sacred knowledge, oneness without sameness, praise, prayer, proclamation, promise, prophecy, rebirth, suffering, and meaningful work.  Death and separation are to be understood as tools of the Creator, not to destroy and reject what has been put forth, rather to change, continue and make eternal the created beings and living creatures who are in his image.  Consider again the following:

(1.)  2nd Peter 1:  2-4, King James Version (KJV):  2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:  that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Today, focus is on grace, guilt as a mechanism to stop sin, and the work of the imparted spirit of GOD.  Until they are “born again,” “grow up again,” and consistently operate as a new creation through Jesus Christ, mankind on the earth are driven and energized by emotional, mental, and physical forces, rather than by the power of their indwelling spirit from GOD.  A total transformation must occur that will allow the living to exist as eternal and sinless companions to divinity who is sovereign, immortal and incorruptible.  Change appears through such elements as awe, commitment, discernment, gradual growth, meekness, and sanctification.  It is written:  30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. “Breakthrough”, mature Christian believers prefer to acknowledge the process of GOD to recover the living from sin as sacred and set apart; infused with inseparable spirit substance from the makeup of divinity (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, wisdom, wrath against sin); and imparting such benefits as divine law, divine love, sacred knowledge, and sacred practice (we say, sacraments).  The lasting and permanent changes that must be made do not occur on the basis of things carnal, material, and social.  Guilt, remorse, and shame appear through operations of the flesh and mind that include appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, tasting, touching), and emotion/mental functions (e.g., anger, fear, imagination, recall).  The operations of sin oppose the continued existence of divine law, divinity as the law-giver, and all divine order necessary to maintain the Creation.  Sin is arbitrary, chaotic and random, yet, is an influence that may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.  While sin has no physical dimensions, sin does have direction, effect, and presence, and generates darkness, spiritual confusion, and nonexistence.  Sin can not control or manipulate the will of GOD, therefore, one of the highest benefits to mankind is that, through Jesus Christ, divinity provides a fresh endowment of spirit from the makeup of GOD.   Rebirth, repentance, and returning to GOD only are performed through the active presence of Deity.  Believers are not coerced, enticed, forced, or persuaded so much as they are edified (we say, built up), encouraged, forgiven, respected, and saved by grace.  Consider again how some of this is stated in language from the holy writings:

(1.)  Romans 5:  12-15, King James Version (KJV):  12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:  13 (For until the law sin was in the world:  but sin is not imputed when there is no law.  14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.  15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. Today, thoughts on divine and “unconditional” love are shared.  Like grace and salvation, divine love is granted as unmerited favor, not as a payment for works.  Love expressed by the living is always a  response to actions first performed by divinity.  In accordance with the Scriptures, mature Christian believers acknowledge love as an aspect of the sacred operations whereby divinity is made knowable and known to created beings and living creatures (we say, revelation).  The love of GOD must be understood as inseparable from divine existence.  The active presence of GOD is also the appearance and manifesting of such spirit matter as faith, forbearance, forgiveness, grace, holiness, preeminence, purity, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Jealousy, marriage, sacrifice, suffering, and unselfishness are devices that make devotion and exclusive love recognizable.  Pertaining to judgment, divine love is demonstrated through chastisement and correction as well as by reconciliation and restraint.  Because continuous relationship for finite beings requires awareness, separate existence and self-will, exchange and interaction with divinity demands removal and suspension of many conditions and limitations endured by the living.  Included are deception, breech of promise, parity or status as equals, the operations of sin, and unbelief.  Divine love can not be altered or concluded by conditions of death, sin, or unbelief.  One of the fighters at “Yahoo! “Anonymous”, here are some thoughts I would like to share in response to your question:  Mature Christian believers trust that divine love creates and imparts the substance from GOD required to make us human.  Thus, in the same way we see it is not servitude to GOD that dehumanizes, it is sin that dehumanizes; we see it is not divine love that dehumanizes, it is sin.  GOD may love objects that we think of as unfeeling:  darkness, the earth, the stars.  Given we usually think of love as an emotion, a feeling that comes and goes, or a peculiar pattern of attitudes, behavior, communication, and interaction visible among and between created beings and living creatures, higher concepts that speak of love for, between, and among eternal and permanent spirits are very difficult to conceive.  Lasting relationships often require accountability, balance, commitment, fidelity, independence, integrity, purpose, respect, and truth.  The love that continues as an aspect of the character, makeup, and nature of immortal, incorruptible divinity is a feature of being, existence, and divine selflessness that requires no operation or substance from outside, yet, continually emanates and puts forth portions from fullness and power that reinforce and support those at a distance lacking and in need.  The challenge to the living is to allow assimilation, embrace, and integration to avoid diffusion, drifting apart, and further separation from their origin and source.

(10/06/2014)—(5.)  The accounts in Scripture that we speak of as the testing of Job and the temptation of Christ, in fact, are accounts where Satan is tested; and his character, function, and nature are revealed as finite.  Satan is challenged to acquire knowledge, however, the process of knowledge turns upon faith.  While the holy angels are spirit beings, they are diverse, and are not carnal, material and social beings in the manner of men upon the earth.  More than this, only GOD is immortal and incorruptible; and the angels must endure and serve through operations of faith.  In the two accounts of temptation and testing, the spirit and substance of GOD within mankind is to be devoted to deity, and no less in divine quality and value than that within the angels and sacred beasts of heaven.  The question, hast thou considered my servant Job?, is not the same as, have you discovered every flaw and weakness within mankind? have you attacked mankind to the uttermost?  Job was to be examined as a means of gaining correction, insight, sacred knowledge, and divine wisdom.  More than this, Job was to serve as an appearance of the mind of Christ.  The process and purpose of GOD are not shown to be condemnation, destruction, or rejection of the holy angels, Satan, Christ, Job or mankind. 

(6.)  The account of Eve being tested in the Garden of Eden by Satan disguised as a serpent also reveals the desire of Satan to possess the dominion of mankind over Adam’s “flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone” as well as dominion of the pair over the physical earth.  The separation of Job and his wife are not to be overlooked as an indication of the deceiver’s working.  Consider again Genesis 3:  1-19 and 6:  1-3, Job 1:  6-22, Job 2:  1-7, Zechariah 3:  1-10, Matthew 4:  1-11, Matthew 16:  13-24 and 2nd Thessalonians 2:  7-12, KJV.

(1.)  Like thoughts, emotions, feelings and trust based upon carnal, material and social elements are temporal, and only endure for a brief time.  Often, changes and shifts in ones attention occur suddenly that may be subtle (i.e., barely visible; hidden), that may be extreme, and that completely break off focus and patterns that may have been ongoing for long periods.

(2.)  The presence of the Holy Spirit is to be known by faith that comes through hearing divine utterances (e.g., commandments, law, praises, principles, proclamations, promises, prophecy).  Saying this another way, by permanent changes made through operations from GOD.  Faith is an aspect of the full makeup of divinity along with such elements as forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, righteousness, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

(3.)  To receive the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD, believers must place themselves in postures that invite (some say, invoke) the active presence of GOD.  Such practices as baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak), confession, sacrificial giving, prayer, and study of the holy writings convey spirit content, and generate organic exchange and interaction among the various inseparable aspects of ones own divine content.

(1.)  The joy of the Lord is our strength only where we will acknowledge its presence, and allow it to fill our awareness.  Bad feelings may be triggered by bad thoughts in the same way bad thoughts are triggered by bad feelings.  To change and control our feelings we often must change and control the focus of our thoughts by changing our actions.  This is true regarding anger, depression, fear, guilt, and shame.  Instead of complaining, confrontations, moaning and groaning, fighting or self-destruction, Christian believers are to “get busy” with the things of fellowship, praise, service, study, and worship.

(2.)  What we do as humans is always a matter of what we choose, even though there may be intense outside conditions that influence our inner choice.  From my point of view, your situation is not as bad as you may think.  However, what we see is determined mostly by where we turn and fix our gaze.  The fact you took the time to pose a question here, expecting some kind of a response you might could use, says, you have not lost all hope; and you still have many ideas and options to explore.

My Heart Knows There is A God But My Brain is 100% Sure There isn't One?

How can I reconcile between what I feel in my heart and what I know in my brain? THE BATTLE AXE:  Of War and Judgment (10/08/2013)—Sacrificial relationships entail the permanent offering of oneself to GOD.  Once set into motion the affiliation and bond is broken only by utter destruction, for the word of GOD once spoken is irrevocable.  Here, the same judgment may come upon females and children that comes against males, for all may continue and foster the spread of sin and unrighteousness.  All created beings and living creatures will be held accountable for their deeds, and examined for their substance.  Atonement and the transfer of gifts from the earth to heaven require the use of a holy table (altar), and fire from heaven that releases the spirit content (e.g., awe, gratitude, humility, joy, piety, reverence) from material offerings, and lifts divine substance into the celestial presence. Where a devoted object (e.g., a bull, a sheep, ones firstborn) is not consumed upon the altar, it must be redeemed.  Once a redemption price is paid, use of the object is restricted to divine service; and the offering is said to be “a living sacrifice.”  As a result, we typically describe sacrificial relationships using such terms as commitment, dedication, devotion, submission, and unselfish service.  Human relations that demonstrate the divine aspect of sacrifice are recognized by acceptance of duty (tasks that absolutely must be completed, even at the cost of ones life), and the maintenance of trust through faithfulness, steadfastness, and truthfulness.  There are levels of acknowledgment and exchange characterized as love (unselfish action to benefit another), obedience (putting aside ones own will to perform the will of another), submission, and surrender.  Such relations include descent (roles as offspring), discipleship, marriage, military service, parenting, and voluntary servitude.  The Holy Name, Jealous, proclaims that GOD is to be known as active to maintain relationship, not that GOD is possessive, or loses self-control when men take interest in false gods and idols.  Clearly, Levites, Nethinims, and those under vow as Nazarites were living sacrifices.  The holy writings record incarnation as a sacred event to establish salvation as well as to demonstrate sacrificial relationship.  See Exodus 13:  11-22, Exodus 34:  1-28, Joshua 9:  1-27 and Isaiah 12:  2-4, King James Version.

(1.)  Neither the heart (emotion and feelings) nor the brain (intellect, logic, reason) are designed by GOD to completely respond to divine law, or sacred person.  As aspects of flesh, heart and brain come under the influence of appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and various mental functions (e.g., desire, fantasy, imagination, memory, projection).  Additionally, awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures may be dominated by sin.  Only where we focus upon spirit matter do we begin to come into right relationship with GOD, and mature belief.

(2.)  Sin is not any thing created by GOD, is not material, is not a spirit substance, and has no divine content.  Yet, sin has direction, effect, and presence.  Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, of sacred person, and of all things in the sphere of divine Creation.  Apart from GOD, mankind can not detect, eliminate and resist sin.

(3.)  GOD is a being whose makeup and substance is pure spirit.  Inseparable aspects of spirit content are balanced, interact, and are interwoven as divine being.  Included are faith, gratitude, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, love, righteousness, truth, wisdom and wrath against sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  Your present inner conflict may be thought of as “growing pains.”  Once born again in baptism (the transformation for ones awareness from the world, the flesh, or things generated by spirits that oppose GOD—we say, demons or devils—you must “grow up” again.  A believer must have experience using our frameworks of time and space (we say, by growing and learning).  What you are receiving, today, is only a further part of great things to come.  Be encouraged!)  I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

Changing circumstances, feelings, and the sufficiency of prayer are topics, today, along with more on turning to Christ as a “guilt trip.”  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “Sheiola” (Level 2 with 262 points, a member since May 28, 2013) posted the following:

THE BATTLE AXE:  A Guilt Trip? (07/11/2013)—In the same way many indulge alcohol, cursing, swearing, fighting, gambling, or sex as their addiction, others embrace fear, guilt and shame as compulsion, dependency, and a continuing unhealthy habit.  Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, ones behavior and conduct increasingly are centered in sacred operations such as giving, forbearance, forgiveness, praise, preaching, sharing, and worship.  The Spirit matter received in new birth introduces continual change.  For the believer duty, growth, learning, heartfelt love and correct spiritual understanding (we say, newness of life) replace operating on the basis of appetite, cravings, emotions, and feelings.   A person chooses Christ only after their own divine potential is released and firmly established through hearing of the truth.  In this sense, only the free come to Jesus.  None are beat down, bullied, coerced, driven and forced.  See Isaiah 55:  1-13, Romans 6:  16-23, Romans 8:  1-9, James 3:  13-18 and Revelation 22:  17, King James Version.

“Sheiola”, here are some points important to Christian believers that may help you to continue your spiritual growth:

(1)  Believers must learn to “walk by faith, not by sight.”  Saying this another way, Believers must continually look beyond the changing circumstances and scenarios of our material, mental, physical, and social world.  Rather than being guided by emotions, feelings and thoughts that repeatedly shift, believers become grounded and rooted in faith through practice and study that supply necessary spiritual focus.

(2)  Often a believer’s need is for a different aspect of prayer than the one they are pursuing.  Thus, importuning, praise or surrender may be more needed than petitioning.  The need may be for group prayer rather than private prayer alone.  Often, change and new courses of action must be joined to prayer.  Even so, for many the most important need is that the believer change nothing, and simply continue reverent behavior and conduct (some say, staying the course, or faithfulness).  Their sense of certainty and trust must be changed, rather than peculiar conditions.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3) because they are “reborn” from divine DNA through baptism, believers encourage one another to make choices that agree with their purpose of showing reverence to GOD.  Many aspects of their lifestyle are re-examined including amusements and entertainments, diet and foods, dress and fashion, familiar friends and associates.  Believers continue to live in the same world, and meet many of the same challenges and difficulties, nevertheless, through Christ they may account themselves as changed persons.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
