(01/25/2021I) The Growth Of Faith

Faith is described, today, as a divine substance imparted from divinity to transform the life-process and spirit-maturity of created beings and living creatures. It is written: Hebrews 11: 1-7, King James Version (KJV): 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. One of the writers at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

what exactly is faith in God? what causes faith to mature?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Ephesians 4: 11-16, King James Version (KJV): 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Recognizing Authentic Christian Believers (12/21/2020); The Power We Receive (11/19/2020); Made Perfect By Divinity (11/10/2020); Why Are Sinners “saved?” (10/11/2020); Spiritual Integrity and Maturity (05/12/2020); Divine Protection Against Covid-19? (04/26/2020); Endure Trials Through Faith (03/31/2020); While We Are Growing (03/09/2020)

Anonymous”, like existence and life, faith is a spirit-substance that exists among the inseparable aspects that are the makeup of GOD (we also say, the divine fullness; the Creator; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Where one appears, all the others appear, though not always in the same measure. Included within the complete array of sacred being are holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Faith as an element within the consciousness and makeup of created beings and living creatures should be understood as imparted or transmitted from divinity, and is spirit that manifests only its own authority, character, operations, and power. Thus, faith is only made up of faith, just as holiness consists only of holiness, righteousness consists only of righteousness. GOD did not create life as a separate element that could later be used to make mankind a “living soul;” life essence (breath; utterance; word) was provided to Adam and later to the female directly from GOD. Only GOD is immortal, and while the living may be consecrated and sanctified to have duration, exist as offspring to GOD, and to serve divinity, the living must become transformed to have eternal life. Faith and life exist as perfected, however, the life process for those on the earth now goes forward by degrees, and is progressive from birth to the completion of mortality. Water baptism depicts the death, burial, and rebirth/resurrection of ones inborn spirit. Those who become born again also must grow-up again (we say, must develop; be edified; gradually grow; become accountable, consistent, stable, etc.). Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, sinners receive a fresh endowment of the same spirit that was provided to Jesus while he served on the earth. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Acts 20: 32, King James Version (KJV): 32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

(2.) 2nd Peter 1: 2-7, KJV: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

(3.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, eternal salvation with divinity is not determined by ones behavior, knowledge, service, and suffering so much as by their content of divine substance and their continuance under grace.). Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(04/21/2020) Testing That Nourishes Growth

Today, reply is on the process and substance of testing, temptation, and trials that mankind undergoes from divinity.   From Wuhan, China to New York City, America covid-19 death tolls are being published, without totals for those who have recovered. There have been multiple cases of recuperation from covid-19, yet, not a single successful treatment regimen appears to have been properly documented! In the same way discussion of testing for covid-19 continues in the United States to be a distraction to publishing the details for successful treatment of the disease, many confuse challenges that regularly accompany life experience on the earth with punitive interventions by the Creator to declare divine dominion over mankind. Among mature Christian believers, testing by GOD is understood as providing correction rather than punishment, and pertains to GOD completing sacred operations that establish immortality, eternal life, sanctification, and the expression of immutable permanence. Discourse properly centers on the outcomes of Creation, judgment, prophecy, redemption, sacred law, salvation, solemn promise, resurrection life, and the second death. It is written: Revelation 3: 10-13, King James Version (KJV): 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. One of the fighters at “Yahoo! Answers” Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

If millions of people catching a terrible disease is another test from our loving and benevolent God then is dying from it a pass or a fail?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: (2nd Peter 2: 9, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Challenge of Covid-19 (03/22/2020); Jacob Wrestled With GOD? (09/26/2018); Testing and Divine Process (06/12/2017); Temptations, Tests and Trials? (10/07/2014); Continuously Tested (12/31/2013); Chosen To Serve As Prophets (01/01/2014)

Anonymous”, the Creator has continuing contact and exchange with mankind on the earth by appearing as spirit process and substance within human awareness and self-will (willpower). The testing that Christians undergo are stages in their cleansing, development and spiritual growth along with levels and phases in their becoming mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his coming. Divine testing is not opposition to entice, manipulate, or seduce someone to do evil. Your idea seems to be that GOD is administering challenges, temptations, tests and trials to the living as though they are students in a classroom where their knowledge and skills must be assessed and rated, and their achievement of grade-level standards must be determined and acknowledged. More correctly, sinners must undergo permanent change within covenant relationship through operations of divinity that include acquiring sacred knowledge rather than academic or secular knowledge; receiving fresh endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; utterance; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD; and becoming altered by multiple interactions among the inseparable aspects of divine fullness such as balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Rather than a focus on material objects and social behaviors, testing and transformation by GOD are through discovery, gradual growth, practice, and study of things sacred as well as by passing through divinely generated events and operations that call forth, display, and extend ones own spirit content. Thus, developing believers are to embody accountability, commitment, discernment, forbearance, forgiveness, gratitude, praise, prophecy (comfort, edification, exhortation), purpose, reconciliation, unselfish service, and suffering. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) Zechariah 13: 7-9, King James Version (KJV): 7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. 8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. 9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

(2.) 1st Corinthians 3: 11-15, KJV: 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every mans work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every mans work of what sort it is. 14 If any mans work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any mans work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

(3.) James 1: 13-15, KJV: 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

(03/09/2020) While We Are Growing

Today, reply is on the process of GOD for recovering and restoring mankind from the fall of Adam as including the humility, forgiveness, obedience, respect and self-restraint of children as sacred tools for reaching their parents and other adults, rather than angry outbursts, deceit, defiance, disrespect, rebellion, unkindness, and violence. More than obedience to the Ten Commandment law is required of children also. Thus, children are given to adults as a gift from divinity to activate and expand their caretakers capacity for accountability, compassion, and unselfishness. For a child to despise, begrudge, and hate their own parents provides no benefit from GOD, and is an obstacle to their own contentment as full persons. It is written: Galatians 2: 16-17, King James Version (KJV): 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shared) posted the following:

Since I hate my Dad am I breaking the 10 commandments?
I hate him but it is for good reason.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth. By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mothers bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee. I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge. Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day. Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together, Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him. O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help. (Psalms 71: 4-12, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Pray For Your Enemies? (01/03/2020); Violating Commandments On Love? (10/13/2019); Anger Against Our Parents? (01/10/2019); Honoring Our Own Parents (04/09/2018); What Young People Need? (06/26/2017); Who Deserves Divine Love? (06/23/2017); In Her fathers House? (02/08/2017)

Anonymous”, in the kingdom of GOD, parents and children are to nourish one another. The process of GOD on the earth among mankind now is one of edification (growth of ones spirit), granting grace, and the revealing of sacred things that would be otherwise unseen. Even though it has become acceptable and popular for young people to boast, complain, and murmur against their parents, Christian believers continue to endorse showing a spirit and process of forgiveness, love, and unselfish sacrifice that are intended to please GODand by pleasing divinity, to please oneself. The operations of sin may devastate communication within families, and their day-to-day exchanges and interactions. For youth, it is natural to be grounded in elements that appear to adults as foolish, impractical, temporal (do not last), unprofitable, and wasteful. Young people must encounter intense emotional and psychological challenges, and shifts while they are growingnot merely after they are grown. Such features as desires, dreams, emotions, goals, and hopes must be given attention and weight in their decision-making and their ongoing lifestyle. The benefits and privileges granted by GOD to those who are his offspring through commitment, sacred law, unselfish service, and fellowship among those sanctified (set apart) as being in covenant relationship include freedom from fear, peace of mind concerning divine judgment, stability, certainty for fulfillment of divine promises and prophecies, and confidence that, while on the earth, they will receive the godly guidance and wisdom required to become mature. GOD does not foster or promote the operations of sin, nor does divinity impart or justify human bitterness, despair, hatred, rage, and self-destructiveness. Consider again the following that uses language form the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Christine Wyrtzen:

(1.) 2nd Timothy 1: 7, King James Version (KJV): 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

(2.) Ephesians 6: 1-3, KJV: 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

(3.) Proverbs 6: 20-23, KJV: 20 My son, keep thy fathers commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: 21 Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. 22 When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. 23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

(02/27/2020) Spirit Process and Substance

Today, reply is on Spirit as the process and substance for Christian belief, rather than the frameworks of mechanical and natural law; time and space; or intellect, logic, and carnal reason. GOD is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible, however, divine authority, influence and power are to be acknowledged by believers that express divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. The full glory and power of Jesus Christ are yet to appear and be manifest among mankind because they must be apprehended through Spirit. The Creation of heaven and earth are now in a season of grace that allows repentance, rebirth, and new life through the resurrection of Jesus. Rather than a system to focus ones intelligence, recall, and thought, Christian belief is a system to focus growth and transformation of ones indwelling spirit through such operations as acknowledgment, commitment, discernment, joining, service, and the exercise of self-will (willpower) in conformity. It is written: 1st John 4: 1-6, King James Version (KJV): 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information appeared) posted the following:

Why do Christians exempt God from the logic they impose on our own existence ?
Do they not understand this is special pleading? Christians argue that our intelligence and the general complexity of our existence demand an explanation that can only lead to the existence of their God. But God, an entity that would be even more intelligent and complex doesn’t need an explanation for its own existence. God is “eternal”, as if that phrase somehow exempts God from the very logic that is imposed on our own existence. It’s special pleading.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55: 6-11, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Miracles and Christian Belief (01/30/2020); Not Impossible With GOD (01/06/2020); From Purpose and Substance (12/27/2019); Only Divine Resurrection Saves (12/24/2019); I Am So Satisfied (12/18/2019); More Required Than Crucifixion? (12/10/2019); The Tools Of Divinity (12/09/2019)

Anonymous”, Christian belief is not the product of operations by the intellect, the mind, and other aspects of the flesh; rather, there is the joining of divine spirit matter to the same sacred content that exists within the living. Sinners who turn to GOD through Jesus Christ are not simply given academic instruction; challenged to apply logic, carnal reason, and critical thinking; or guided in using finite human tools such as history, philosophy, science, and secular knowledge. Those who come to GOD must undergo a transformation of the life essence (i.e., breath; spirit; word) imparted to mankind at Creation from the makeup of divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). As developing Christians, sinners are to acquire the sacred knowledge (definitions, meanings, operations, values) whereby divinity makes themselves knowable, known, accessible, and approachable. While GOD is active presence, and the process and substance of GOD is spirit, divinity has used multiple sacred events to communicate with the living on the earth. Included are birth, death, expectation, forbearance, forgiveness, Incarnation, judgment, prayer, praise, promise, prophecy, reconciliation, repentance, resurrection, and sanctification. As vessels containing divine DNA (so to speak), the living are to display the image of GOD as offspring and sacred heirs; and are to resemble, reflect and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Those who are “born again” receive a fresh endowment of such inseparable aspects of divine fullness as balance, commitment, completeness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin). Even so, through discovery, gradual growth, learning, practice, study, unselfish service, and suffering, developing believers must mature and ripen for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (we say, Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming). Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

(1.) Numbers 23: 19, King James Version (KJV): 19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

(2.) John 4: 24, KJV: 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

(For example, (4.) https://youtu.be/HlYp5ek4I4E.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(12/23/2019) The Place to Start

Today, reply is on the sacred person of Jesus Christ as the proper primary focus for sinners who seek forgiveness and reconciliation to GOD. The law and the prophets together were to be the platform for continuing relationship for Israel as a nation, and for the continuing relationship with GOD. Where emphasis became placed on obedience to the covenant law, the benefits, demands, and gifts to mankind through spirit process and substance became obscured. Included are adoption, inheritance, promise, rebirth, resurrection from the dead, and new life. It is written: Romans 3: 20-27, King James Version (KJV): 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Shai” (Level 1 with 225 points) posted the following:

Why don't Christians start with learning Torah, as Jesus was Jewish.?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Vessels Filled With Righteousness (11/06/2019); That Not Of Yourselves (08/13/2019); Scripture Has No Ethnicity (05/27/2019); We Begin Within GOD (02/06/2018); A Beginning And End? (06/01/2017); The Best Starting Point? (09/13/2016); Ye Are Abraham’s Seed (07/10/2015)

Shai”, rather than begin a life-long study of the Hebrew language to read Torah, sinners now may start a life-long process to continue in ongoing relationship with divinity through Jesus Christ. Even though Jesus remains invisible and unseen, believers are to learn of him, and to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus in their own lifestyles and daily routines. Becoming a mature believer in Jesus is achieved through operations by the Spirit of GOD that reconfigure ones awareness and self-will (willpower). The life essence (breath; sacred endowment; spirit; word) within sinners is transformed through such devices as discovery, fellowship with like-minded believers, gradual growth, practice, study of the holy writings, unselfish service, and suffering. Those who become born again all must “grow-up again” and become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his coming.

Many Christian believers acknowledge the Torah as the body of sacred law received over several generations by Moses, the tribes of Jacob, and the mixed multitude that left Egypt. As a written record of admonitions, divine commandments, outcomes from resolving conflicts and disputes, prohibitions, proclamations, and sanctions within the law, many regard the Torah as the platform for Israel to exist as a kingdom among the nations of the earth. Traditions developed that failed to continue the commitment that was to be maintained respecting both the law and the prophets (i.e., the authority of their nonverbal demonstrations and pronouncements as spokespersons from GOD; their rebukes; their appearance as vessels containing spirit substance imparted from the makeup of divinity; and the authenticity of the revelations and visions they received). Efforts to avoid mysticism, spiritual confusion, superstition, and pursuing the occult increasingly saw factions of Pharisees and Sadduccees arise among the Levitical priests that insisted there be strict focus on the offerings, sacrifices and ceremonial law from GOD, rather than on divine gifts, promises, prophesies, and testimonies. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of the Barnes Family:

(1.) Matthew 11: 28-30, King James Version (KJV): 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

(2.) Romans 8: 1-5, KJV: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

(3.) Romans 8: 14-18, KJV: 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

AN AFTERTHOUGHT: Where the emphasis on sacred law requires believers to focus on judgment, obedience, repentance and tradition, emphasis on the spirit of prophecy gives priority to such sacred elements as atonement, commitment, discernment, forgiveness, praise, unselfish service, suffering, and thanksgiving. The life-long study and work are not for mastery of finite academic and secular tools (e.g., languages, carnal reason, critical thinking, tongues), rather, believers are to operate as life companions to immortal, incorruptible, invisible divinity. Thus, the Apostle Paul writes: Philippians 3: 13-14, KJV: 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

(12/19/2019) GOD Also Uses Children

Today, reply is on the acknowledgment of children by divinity. To be childlike does not mean to behave in a way that is childish, immature, self-destructive, or wicked. Adults who are biased and prejudiced always expect children always to be playful and silly; such become stunned when they see youngsters who show genuine calm, joy, gravity, sobriety and strength during times of crisis and uncertainty. Where a child displays a character and nature that is compassionate, generous, obedient, respectful, trusting, and unselfish, Christian believers often discern the beauty, person and purity of Jesus Christ. Parents are wise to discourage arrogance and ignorance, and to encourage attitudes and conduct that routinely show their children are without motives of malice, manipulation, and exaggerated pride. Scripture accounts include reports of GOD using children as shepherds, warriors, kings, priests, prophets, and anointed spokespersons who make visible otherwise unseen spirit content from GOD (e.g., dependence, humility, innocence, meekness, vulnerability). It is written: Mark 10: 13-16, King James Version (KJV): 13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them. If God wants us to be His little children then why do we have to grow up? I want daddy and mummy to get me everything not fend for myself?

Psalm 8:2 & Matthew 18:2-6

THE GOLDEN ARROW: We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done. For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God. (Psalms 78: 4-8, KJV)

Anonymous”, the present process of GOD for mankind is one of discovery, gradual growth, and divinity revealing things otherwise hidden and invisible through Jesus Christ. Many mature Christians will agree that little children and the young often display the image of GOD and the likeness of Jesus Christ within their own attitudes, behavior, and character in ways that are memorable, powerful, and that reveal multiple divine imperatives. Divinity speaks to mankind and operates among the living granting us status as children, heirs, and divine offspring, however, we are not encouraged to be idle, immature, irreverent, and unreliable. Children are to complete multiple stages of development and growth that will supply them to endure challenges, hardships, problems, and suffering that are aspects of life as full adults. Adults who become born again by receiving fresh endowments of the same life essence (breath; spirit; word) that was imparted to mankind in Creation, are to grow-up again and become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his coming. Sinners who turn to Jesus are to exist as developing Christian believers, who undergo permanent change through operations of GOD while living on the earth. Inseparable aspects from the makeup of divinity are to indwell believers that include balance, completeness, faith, forbearance, holiness, integrity, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Even so, developing Christians may become labeled as childish and infantile where the marks of maturity are not found (e.g., willingness to be held accountable; completing assigned duties; consistency; respect; and stability). Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Wintley Phipps:

(1.) 1st Peter 2: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

(2.) 1st Corinthians 13: 9-11, KJV: 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

(3.) Hebrews 12: 3-8, KJV: 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

(4.) Ephesians 4: 11-15, KJV: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

(12/12/2019) A Commitment To Life

Today, reply is on the commitment to his own existence and life that mankind is to make in response to Jesus Christ who appears as Creator, Redeemer, Savior, and Judge. While the process of life features continuing conflict between the flesh and the Spirit, the living are to acknowledge their own body as a temple home for life essence imparted from GOD, and respect gatherings of those sharing faith as a divinely provided habitation for the spirit. It is written: Ephesians 2: 18-22, King James Version (KJV): 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Stop-and-frisk this, Bloomberg!” (Level 4 with 1,530 points) posted the following:

Why do religious people live their lives so cautiously? ?
By that I mean, if you believe in God and afterlife wouldn't you live as ethically reckless as possible to facilitate your early demise? I'm an atheist and since I know this is the only life I get I tend to want to prevent my death. If I believed in a god and heaven I would not wear my seat belt for example since I would prefer eternal life in heaven. Do I make any sense? 😂

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lords. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. (Romans 14: 7-9, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Disciples and “Little Christs” (11/05/2019); One Body, Many Members (10/17/2019); Present With The Lord (08/05/2019); The Gift Of GOD (10/15/2018); A Question On Suicide (11/30/2017); Suddenly Absent, Suddenly Present? (03/31/2013); A Family Affair? (04/01/2013)

Stop-and-frisk this, Bloomberg!”, you make sense just as the Apostle Paul, who expressed being in conflict about continuing to serve on the earth, or going to be with the Lord. It remains that, Christian belief is focused on commitment and living as a companion to immortal, incorruptible, invisible divinity, rather than death; and is focused on performing duty and unselfish service, rather than pleasure and self-promotion. Sinners who become part of the new creation of GOD through Jesus Christ must become permanently changed and transformed through operations of the Holy Spirit (we say, they must become “born again” and “grow up again”). As developing believers, all are to become mature/ripe while on the earth, and will be harvested by the Lord at his coming. Christian believers are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the image of GOD, and the likeness of Jesus Christ through their lifestyles and daily routines. All are granted benefits, opportunities, possibilities, and privileges on a divine scale for they receive within their consciousness and self-will (willpower) inseparable aspects of the divine makeup. Included are balance, completeness, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. As vessels of divine spirit content (sacred DNA, so to speak), Christians are the offspring of GOD and those in fellowship with divinity. Believers will be held accountable for the grace and freely given gifts bestowed on them, and are to operate acknowledging sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of John Michael Talbot:

(1.) 2nd Corinthians 5: 1-10, King James Version (KJV): 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

(2.) Philippians 3: 7-14, KJV: 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended (for example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGbb1ry1Hoo.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/29/2019) The Father of Lights

Today, reply is on the benefits, gifts and privileges granted to mankind from divinity that are described within the holy writings. Because so many of the gifts we desire for anniversaries, birthdays, and at Christmas are carnal, material, and social in their character, form and substance, many lack sacred knowledge, and are unfamiliar with the gifts provided through Jesus Christ to establish the new creation. Sinners who return to GOD as followers of Jesus are given a fresh endowment of life essence from the makeup of GOD whereby they become children of GOD, the offspring of divinity, and vessels of divine DNA, so to speak. Inseparable spirit substance It is written: 1st Corinthians 2: 11-13, King James Version (KJV): 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which mans wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (11/14/2019) Why Do They Sing?

Today, reply is on the use of music and song during worship. The church founded by Jesus Christ provides multiple sacred gifts that can not be found in any other place on earth. There, divinity allows the use of simple devices to acknowledge, access, and approach the high throne of GOD, even, the use of songs by those who are not singers. Rather than the blood of bulls, goats and sheep that were offered within the sacred tabernacle of Moses and the Temple at Jerusalem as depictions and demonstrations of unseen things in heaven, Christians now gather to offer and sacrifice the elements of life essence (breath; spirit; word) that reside within the Son of GOD, Jesus Christ. It is written: Hebrews 10: 4-10, King James Version (KJV): 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Tasm” (Level 6 with 17,816 points) posted the following:

As a religious person?
Do you believe all that you are told in church or do you pick certain things and disgaurd some of it?

I went to church two or three times and liked that they try to guide to live healthier, but I did not believe much of what they said about the after life. Also they sang a lot and I found it to be a really big waste of my time, why do they sing all the time. It was like they tried to hold me and waste my time on purpose instead of just stating their business and releasing me.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. (Psalms 150: 1-6, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Patriotic Songs To Worship? (11/10/2019); By Death and Resurrection (10/29/2019); One Body, Many Members (10/17/2019); The Purpose Of Worship (10//10/2019); Justified By Church Attendance? (06/21/2019); GOD Speaking Through Song? (11/01/2013); Why Not One Bible? (11/02/2013)

Tasm”, those who regularly attend church participate in a sacred operation that is put forward from divinity, rather than a man-made event provided from the World. Mature Christian believers are in an ongoing relationship with divinity through offerings and sacrifices made by Jesus Christ as their High Priest in heaven. Those who turn to GOD through Jesus must willingly accept that divinity (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is guiding them in a lifetime journey whereby their inner spirit is to be permanently changed and transformed. Sinners are to receive a fresh endowment of the same life essence (we also say, breath; spirit; word) imparted to mankind from divine fullness at Creation. Included are inseparable aspects of the full substance of GOD such as balance, faith, forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Just as babies must develop before their birth, those coming to Christ must undergo a process of death and burial of their inborn nature with rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak, and life from the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Those born again are to “grow up again” and become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming). Developing believers will endure multiple life challenges and “growing pains” while on the earth. Before the coming of the Lord, all are to be made ready by experiences of discovery; fellowship within the household of faith; gradual growth; sacred practice (e.g., discernment, praise, prayer, thanksgiving); study of the holy writings; unselfish service; and suffering. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible, and a presentation from the music ministry of Steve Amerson and Ralph Carmichael:

(1.) Hosea 14: 2, King James Version (KJV): 2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

(2.) Psalms 100: 1-5, KJV: 1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

(3.) Hebrews 9: 13-15, KJV: 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yd8nVLtnAA.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
