(12/03/2020) Does The Bible Forget?

Divinity is providing graphic and memorable one-time events along with immutable recorded accounts to correctly display multiple aspects of divine fullness to created beings and living creatures. Awareness and self-will (willpower) in the living are influenced by divinity to embrace, internalize, recall, and express sacred meanings, standards and values. While man-made devices also are used such as abbreviations, analogies, lessons, repetition, and sacred symbols, the process of GOD is directed to those who receive understanding that is imparted from divinity, and sacred knowledge unfolds primarily through Spirit substance deposited within the living. It is written: Hebrews 10: 16-23, King James Version (KJV): 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. 19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: A fighter in the “Yahoo! Did the Bible forget the 10 commandments?

8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.(I) 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[a](J) and whatever other command there may be, are summed up(K) in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b](L) 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.(M)

This is from Romans 13 and I'm pointing to where it just ignores all the other commandments and say just follow whatever commandments that were summon up. I can understand that the Bible was written by different people with different ideas but this reminds me of Joe Biden saying you know the thing. But how could the Bible ever forget about the 10 commandments? I was thinking maybe these were the commandments only Christians follow because of keep the Sabbath holy isn't viewed by a lot of Christians as don't do anything except worship God. But really it does even say any other comment there may be.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. But refuse profane and old wives fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. (1st Timothy 4: 6-7, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Power We Receive (11/19/2020); “What if” and “Maybe” (10/20/2020); Its Not Rocket Science (07/15/2020); The Place Of Meeting (04/08/2020); A Habitation of Spirit (04/05/2020); The Commandments Against Sin (11/26/2019); A Complete Divine Revelation (11/15/2019)

Anonymous”, the Bible does not forget, however, many lack the knowledge of sacred truth that must appear among the living fitted to the life-process of mankind. There must be acknowledgment, discovery, gradual growth, focused study, suffering, and victory. Mind-reading, predicting the future, are not required so much as discernment to recognize and respond to familiar patterns among the things from GOD (e.g., ABCDEFG, XYZ must be coming). The process and substance for divine redemption and salvation do not disguise, hide, or make a mystery of GOD. The Scriptures display and reveal otherwise invisible, unchanging, and unknowable aspects of the character, makeup, and nature of GOD. Thousands of events that occur within thousands of lives over the course of thousands of years are presented within the holy writings that impart a correct awareness of sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purposes, and the sovereign will of GOD. Praises, prayers, proclamations, promises, and prophecies offered by others have been recorded and preserved as part of an inheritance to those who enter covenant relationship with divinity through such sacred operations as baptism, rebirth, repentance, resurrection, and suffering. Because many reading the Bible are re-building and restoring the foundations of sacred order within themselves that may have been in place since before their birth the holy writings often use abbreviations, brief summations, reminders, and warnings without details. Consider again the following that use language from the Bible:

(1.) 1st Peter 2: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

(2.) 2nd Peter 1: 2-9, KJV: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

(3.) 1st Thessalonians 4: 8-10, KJV: 8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. 9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. 10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Acts 20: 32, KJV: 32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(03/08/2020) Acknowledging Christ as Son

A depiction of the Roman soldier who acknowledged Jesus as the Son of GOD following the Savior's death on the cross.

Today, reply is on the birth of Jesus Christ through the operations of GOD, rather than the operations of the flesh. The birth of Jesus is a part of a larger operation by GOD to redeem mankind. The full array of divine actions that were performed by GOD for the nativity of Jesus are not reported in the holy writings. Even so, Christian believers apprehend the birth of Jesus as agreeing with revealed prophecy, promise, and eternal purpose. In addition to appetite (e.g., hunger, sexual cravings, thirst), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching) and the effects of emotion/mind (e.g., anger, fantasy, fear, recall), the flesh continues to generate organic changes and shifts in ones conscious focus, reactions, and responses. To continually acknowledge the character and nature of Jesus Christ as consecrated and sacred, one must rely on sacred process such as discernment, and the use of ones own spirit content to realize and respond to the spirit matter within events, oneself, other persons, presentations of doctrine, prophecy, etc. It is written: Luke 1: 30-38, King James Version (KJV): 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Yesterday Strikes Back” (Level 6 with 10,556 points) posted the following:

Is Jesus the biological son of the god?
Whom did the god impregnate?

And what are the christian sects which deny that Jesus is the only biological son of the god?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (John 1: 10-17, KJV)

Yesterday Strikes Back”, here are some points that may help. Jesus was born from the flesh of a woman, yet, not through the animal and human process of sexual reproduction. Those who acknowledge Jesus Christ as the son of GODand who have no spiritual confusion or unanswered questionsdo so by continuing within a “closed system” for knowledge and truth (we say, staying inside the box; conforming to the dictates of faith). Rather than his height, weight, and other features, focus must be on the spirit matter and substance of Christ that expresses divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Sinners who turn to GOD through Jesus Christ must become developing believers who undergo a transformation that is so comprehensive we say, You must be born again; grow up again; and become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing. Mature Christian believers only rely on sacred knowledge that entails specific definitions, language, meanings, standards, and values that are distinct and separate from those for such disciplines and studies as history, academic instruction, philosophy, politics, science, and secular knowledge. The finite human tools of intellect, logic, carnal reason, and “critical thinking” are expressions of the flesh, rather than of the spirit substance within mankind that was imparted as breath and life essence from GOD at the time of Creation. The sum of all divine substance (we say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) is alive, exists as spirit in form, and displays multiple discrete, yet inseparable, aspects. Included are balance, commitment, faith, forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. While spirit is manifest as invisible and unseen, and does not always use material and physical form, spirit can be known as active presence, cause, influence, and power. Mankind should be understood as fashioned in the image of GOD; and Christians are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Even so, consciousness and self-will within created beings and living creatures may be corrupted and dominated by the operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of sacred law. Jesus appeared on the earth through operations of GOD that went beyond the ongoing frameworks for time and space, mechanical process, and natural law. While on the earth he was subject to aging, gradual growth, having to get and process shared knowledge through communication, and mortality.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (03/03/2020) The Will Of GOD

A depiction of Isaac the heir of Abraham with his wife and sons. Isaac loved Esau, the hunter, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Today, reply is on events in the lives of Esau and Jacob as having been in accordance with unseen divine operations, rather than the operations of sin. There are multiple conflicts and differences represented in the figures of Isaac, Rebekah, and their twin boys. Included are the inheritance for nomads could not include houses, land, and real estate; populations existed as tribes, not nations; faith was acknowledged and expressed differently within the households of Abraham and of Laban. Other considerations were the transition to aggressive hunting cultures from those that promote farming and the pastoral keeping of livestock; the divine practice of bestowing both blessing and curses during a single event; covetousness and the use of deceit to acquire and keep a bequest/blessing given by a family member. Events in the life of Esau and Jacob reach across time and space having been grounded in the promises of GOD to Adam and to Abraham. It was only after Jacob was given the blessing from Isaac that Jacob received a vision of angels ascending and descending from GOD. It is written: Genesis 27: 41-45, King James Version (KJV): 41 And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob. 42 And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee. 43 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran; 44 And tarry with him a few days, until thy brothers fury turn away; 45 Until thy brothers anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day? Why didnt God punish Jacob for decieving his father and seeking his blessing?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting. And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his sons venison, that thy soul may bless me. And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau. And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed. And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father. And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing. And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me? And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son? And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept. (Genesis 27: 30-38, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Irrevocable Gifts and Callings? (12/29/2019); Jacob Wrestled With GOD? (09/26/2018); A Second Sacred Pair (06/29/2018); Inheritance Must Become Commitment (05/15/2017); The Heir To Abraham (10/23/2016); Blessing and Inheritance from Abraham? (06/05/2014); On Christians Executing Judgment (06/06/2014)

Anonymous”, the accounts regarding Esau and Jacob do not speak of quarrels about birthright, sibling rivalry and inheritance, nor are they intended to praise the twins as individuals, or report their human achievements and merit. These things detail prophetic demonstrations that pertain to the outworking of divine grace, sacred promises, redemption, and salvation; and are only through the operations of divine will, not the will of mankind. Thus, for Christians, the accounts of Esau and Jacob give a picture of GOD continuing eternal purpose, determining the inheritance of the priesthood that was granted to Adam and to Abraham, exercising divine prerogative, and fulfilling sacred sovereignty. Rather than condemnation by GOD, the focus of sacred knowledge and the major themes in Christian life are to be the display and revelation by GOD of the character and makeup of divinity. Otherwise unknown and unseen features of divine fullness should appear including forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, love, mercy in judgment for those who are sinners, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin as well as unchanging commitment. The Creator has bestowed multiple gifts on Creation that make possible agreement and understanding between immortal, incorruptible, invisible GOD and finite mankind. Many realize their need, and begin their relationships with divinity by turning away from sin and focusing on repentance. In error, they may continue inviting and listening to critics and those who stir feelings of guilt, self-condemnation, inadequacy, and spiritual confusion, rather than the things of new life. Believers are to embrace discovery, gradual growth, learning, study, unselfish service, and suffering. Developing Christian believers are not to continue as members within the church having guilt, punishment, and shame for sin as their primary concerns. Correctly understood, those “born again” are to remain on the earth, and become mature (we also say, grow up again; become ripe) for harvest by Jesus Christ at his appearing. As those containing a fresh endowment of spirit substance imparted from the makeup of GOD, developing Christians are to exist on the earth as the children of GOD, joint-heirs with Jesus Christ, and the new creation. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Genesis 25: 19-24, King James Version (KJV): 19 And these are the generations of Isaac, Abrahams son: Abraham begat Isaac: 20 And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian. 21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. 22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD. 23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. 24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.

(2.) Genesis 25: 27-34, KJV: 27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. 28 And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob. 29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: 30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. 31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. 32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? 33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

(3.) Romans 9: 7-16, KJV: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. 9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son. 10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; 11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (03/02/2020) Aspects Defining Human Life?

An image to depict the idea “multiple spheres of life”

Today, reply is on the operations of divinity as only a single source among the many different frameworks that shape and structure human life, and existence. The earth as a sphere of life has been created by GOD; and while there are many fixed elements and features making up the world system that man has created for survival, neither existence nor life in the earth have been made to be predictable by mankind. The causes and origins determining behavior, events, and occurrences that make us appear as salt and light or error and darkness also include appetite and emotion, evil (i.e., calamity; catastrophe; upheaval), covetousness, finite human knowledge, mechanical and natural law, misfortune, risk-taking, trial and error, inbred wickedness as well as indwelling spirits that may be defiled and profaned. Exchange, joining, interaction, and separation of the discrete elements for life have resulted in diverse challenges, recurring conditions, and fruits. It is written: Ecclesiastes 9: 10-12, King James Version (KJV): 10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. 11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. 12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who used the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data shared) posted the following:

Why does God allow murder, natural disasters, diseases, mental illness, wars, cancer, fatal accidents, disabilities, evil and child abuse?
Could he not stop them if he wanted to?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth? (Isaiah 45: 5-10, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Light Of Life (12/04/2019); Divinity and Human Reproduction (11/08/2019); The Purpose Of Worship (10//10/2019); Believing That GOD Is (06/24/2019); The Impartiality of GOD (03/18/2019); Time and Chance Happen... (02/27/2018); The Administration Of Death (07/11/2017)

Anonymous”, here are some points to consider: All do not acknowledge the sovereignty of GOD; the events in human life are not all caused and made to happen by divinity; and divinity should not be thought of as the origin and source for all human experience. A mature understanding of the spheres for life and the multiple frameworks for human existence requires acceptance of many fixed conditions, diverse operations consistent with the form and substance of material objects as well as a realization of continuous motion that is directed and harmonized with features that are not man-made, that are unseen, and that nonetheless exert influence and power. In addition, to divine prerogative, eternal purpose, sacred law, the sovereign will of GOD, and the immutable, unchanging operations of divinity (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) whose makeup is Spirit and active presence, the living are challenged to respond within life-frameworks that include relying on secular knowledge and information that are incomplete and unreliable, measurable dimension (i.e., form), finite self-will (i.e., limited willpower), time and space, mechanical process and natural law (we say, chemistry; history, physics, politics, etc.), mortality, chance occurrences (i.e., bad and good luck; unanticipated, unintended “random” events), and the operations of sin. Sin is no spirit substance or material object put forth by divinity; yet, sin has direction, effect, and presence. Even though sin is irrational, and does not appear in accordance with careful thought and healthy decision-making, the operations of sin can dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures. Sin promotes destruction, nonexistence, and a return to the conditions of chaos, confusion, and corruption that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth (we say, preexistence). Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and the universe produced through divine order. The process of GOD appearing as Jesus Christ on the earth to alter the impact of sin upon the living has required thousands of years, and thousands of sacred events, within thousands of lives to bring us to our present state of readiness to receive Christ at his appearing to harvest those who are his from the earth (the Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming).

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (12/01/2019) Proof of The Resurrection

A depiction of the first appearance of Jesus to his apostles following his resurrection.

Today, reply is on the events provided by GOD to the followers of Jesus Christ that establish among Christian believers that the Lord is risen from the dead. Rather than the flesh, the Spirit imparted from GOD is the primary evidence for resurrection; and, when Jesus breathed on his apostles to impart the Holy Spirit comes into view as the event that made possible their acceptance of his resurrection and presence in the Upper Room. Many respond to accounts of the dead being raised as “incredible” (i.e., false reports; lies; something not possible, and therefore unbelievable). To have certain knowledge (proof) of ones own redemption and salvation by GOD through his Son, sinners must become aware of things that are invisible, yet, endowed with authority, power, and presence from divinity. Included are divine prerogative, grace, eternal purpose, sacred events (we say, miracles), and the sovereign will of GOD. There must be operations of faith and other aspects of divine life essence. Multiple streams of truth flow to us from the cross proclaiming that Jesus was a lamb of sacrifice slain for atonement of sin. In addition to his death on the cross, the holy writings also document his resurrection, and appearances to the living after his crucifixion. It is written: 1st Corinthians 15: 12-15, King James Version (KJV): 12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

Thomas walked with Jesus & witnessed miracles yet still required proof of the resurrection which Jesus provided. Why not for us today?
Why should we be any different than Thomas?

And before you say "We have the Bible", the Jews had the Torah.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. (1st Corinthians 12: 3, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: A Single Sacred Revelation (01/09/2019); Authentic Experiences From GOD (05/14/2019); Belief, Faith, and Proof (03/02/2014); Miracles and Visitations? (03/03/2014); All Lying Forbidden? (03/04/2014); Experience Is Not Evidence? (05/05/2013); Church Mandatory? (05/06/2013)

Anonymous”, faith is the proof for the resurrection of Jesus Christ along with the many inseparable aspects of divine makeup (e.g., balance, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin). Usually those who require “proof” for the resurrection of Jesus Christ are attempting to grasp and understand divinity using the finite human tools of intellect and carnal reason. Mistakenly, they insist that academic, scientific, and secular knowledge can be used to analyze and examine things known only by using sacred knowledge. After the crucifixion, when Jesus first appeared among his apostles, he upbraided them for their hardness of heart, and refusing to respect the testimony of the empty tomb, and his appearance as a gardener. Yet, apprehension for things that are divine and sacred is only through features that are spirit in their process and substance, rather than carnal, material, physical, and social. There also must be acceptance of accountability and duty, commitment, discernment, respect, reverence, trust, and truth.

Thomas and the other apostles of Jesus Christ were chosen to be eye-witnesses of sacred events (we say, miracles); to be members of a spiritual team that would prepare communities to receive Jesus as a traveling evangelist (we say, itinerant preacher); and to assist in maintaining order during the public meetings and open-air sessions. More than this, the apostles were to be the living documentation that Jesus is alive following his divine resurrection. Also, the apostles were to acknowledge, authenticate, and certify the falling of the Holy Ghost; continue their apostolic ministry (e.g., baptism, exorcism, feeding, healing, teaching); display the spiritual gifts provided to continue the ministry of Jesus on the earth; and invoke anointing by the Spirit through the laying on of hands.

The apostles and the believers from the Upper Room received more than instruction regarding things past and current events. They were given guidance and visions regarding eternal purpose, the end times, and the appearing of Jesus to harvest the earth. As members of the early church granted the gifts of prophecy, the apostles were spokespersons from GOD who shared comfort, edification, and exhortation. Consider once again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a selection from the music ministry of Donnie McClurkin:

(1.) Luke 16: 27-31, King James Version (KJV): King James Version (KJV): 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my fathers house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

(2.) John 20: 19-25, KJV: 19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. 24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

(3.) John 20: 26-28, KJV: 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.)  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xcEX4aP8Sk.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/14/2019) Everywhere In The Universe?

Today, reply is on whether the knowledge of divinity and consciousness of the divine presence exists throughout the universe. Men upon the earth have received anointing and divine commission to proclaim promises, prophecy, and the eternal purposes of divinity as spokespersons of GOD sent to “all the world.” While many believe omnipresence (existing as active, or on hand in every location and place) and omniscience (existing as all-knowing) to be attributes of divinity, neither are among the inseparable aspects of divine fullness imparted to mankind through water baptism and rebirth whereby sinners become the offspring of GOD, joint heirs with Jesus Christ, and the new creation. Developing and mature Christian believers are to display their own fresh endowment of sacred seed from the makeup of GOD. Included as their “divine DNA” are balance, faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  It is written: Mark 16: 14-16, King James Version (KJV): 14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality using the ID “Bearly” (Level 3 with 1,286 points, a member since June 23, 2018) posted the following:

Do Christians believe God's presence is made known everywhere in the universe (Is 66:1-2, Lk 1:32-33, Jer 23:23-24, Job 38:19-20)?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. (Psalms 19: 1-6, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Spiritual Confusion About Heaven (05/31/2019); The Option of Atheism (02/11/2018); Wisdom In A Mystery (11/22/2017); Making Sense of Preexistence? (10/06/2017); Time and Sacred Events? (03/30/2017); Abstractions, Atheism and I.Q. (08/18/2016); The Three Wise Men? (08/05/2015)

Bearly”, the idea of a “universe” promoted as a concept from Astronomy—the academic and secular study of planets, their moons, stars, the possibilities for the existence of extra-terrestrial life forms, and the various phenomena within outer space—should not be thought of as the “universe of GOD”, meaning the man-made World system for exchange and survival, all the earth, or the totality of Creation. Two very different systems of belief and organization of mind are involved, therefore, mixing and interchanging content from the two discrete frameworks for knowledge can result in spiritual confusion. The universe can not be both an abstraction and an organic sphere of life. Among Christian believers, time and space are not extrapolations and mathematical projections that derive from the measurable dimensions of material substance, physical objects, and the unseen fields that surround them (e.g., gravity, magnetism, radioactivity, sonic waves). Divinity as the focus for Christian believers centers on such interests as the origin of authority, existence, divine order, and sacred law; life essence (breath; spirit; word) within mankind from the makeup of the Creator (we also say, the Godhead; the fullness and sum of all spirit substance; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit); the apocalypse entailing a completion of mortality and sacred judgment; and the continuation of ongoing communication and interactions with divinity that suppress the operations of sin. GOD is held to be a diffuse spirit who displays and expresses direction, immortality, immutability, oneness without sameness, personhood, eternal purpose, and sovereign will. GOD is immortal, invisible, and without measurable form, yet, divinity may put forth material objects with patterns and sequences that serve as mechanical and natural law. The holy writings are intended to document and provide witness in tribunal (judgment) pertaining to divinity who has appeared on the earth using thousands of events, occurring within thousands of lives, over the course of thousands of years. GOD appears within the consciousness and self-will of created beings and living creatures; and many are convinced that material objects influence one another and respond to GOD through operations that can not be spoken of as life, mind, or discursive thought (e.g., attracting/repelling; hardening/softening; obeying/disobeying). The word “universe” does not appear in the King James translation of the Scriptures; however, consider again the following that uses language from that presentation of the Bible:

(1.) Isaiah 55: 6-13, King James Version (KJV): 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

(2.) Hebrews 11: 1-3, KJV: 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

(3.) Romans 8: 22-31, KJV: 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Matthew 24: 6-14, KJV: 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my names sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(10/08/2019) The "History" Of Christ

A reed shaken in the wind?

Today, reply is on the acknowledgment of John the Baptist and the lack of investigation and reporting on Jesus Christ in the work of Josephus and other recorders of History. History is a man-made practice, and a device within the World system for meaning and survival. The church founded by Jesus Christ continues to rely on the recorded eyewitness accounts provided as immutable and unchanging testimony offered and acknowledged by divinity as truth in the ongoing tribunals of sacred judgment. It is written: John 5: 33-39, King James Version (KJV): 33 Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. 34 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. 35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. 36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. 37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. 39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum who uses the ID “Trilobiteme” (Level 4 with 3,081 points, a member since September 29, 2011) posted the following:

Why do historians except the mention of John the Baptist but not Jesus Christ in Josephus Annqituties of the Jews?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. (John 3: 11-13, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Increase of Christ? (12/07/2018); Secular History, Sacred Revelation? (01/11/2018); The Best Starting Point? (09/13/2016); On Transmitting Sacred Truth (05/06/2016); Sacred Events Were Dismissed? (11/05/2015); He Must Increase? (04/01/2015); The Baptist and The Tishbite? (02/18/2015); “Authorized Personnel Only”? (03/13/2013)

Trilobiteme”, among Christian believers, the appearance of both John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, who were filled with the Holy Spirit long before their birth, make visible (manifest) operations and spirit substance from the makeup of divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). The coming of John and Jesus are spoken of within the holy writings using the prophetic figures of Elijah the Tishbite, the lamb of GOD, and the Messiah. That divinity would show themselves on the earth using the form of human flesh (we say, the Christ; the Incarnation) is a sacred event (we also say, miracle), known and correctly valued primarily as sacred knowledge, revelation, and consciousness provided through fresh endowments of spirit matter imparted from GOD (e.g., faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin). As a discipline among the fields of Social Science, the focus and process of History remains human affairs, events in the material and social world, secular knowledge, and carnal reason. The focus and tools for history include dates, influences, locations, prominent actors, and thought leaders. Events may be described as recurring, and therefore, predictable cycles, patterns, and sequences that may be manipulated, and described in detail using a form that compares to narrative that has an opening (we also say, a beginning or start), multiple episodes, and a finish (a close; an end). Properly carried out, when historians provide their treatment of a subject, they suppress bias, conjecture, folklore, imagination, prejudice, and speculation. There may be the use of mathematical and statistical calculations for the accuracy, likelihood, and probability of their conclusion, or of occurrences; there may be the use of artifacts, government chronicles, and other documentation to authenticate and serve as evidence (testimony; witness) to the actuality of events as described; and there may be reviews and critical statements to clarify the method and process for the data gathering and presentation. Concerning John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, consider the following from the Bible that includes writings by Luke, a historian and gospel writer (yet, not one of the 12 apostles):

1. Genesis 22: 6-8, King James Version (KJV): 6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. 7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

2. John 1: 6-8, KJV: 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
3. John 1: 29-37, KJV: 29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. 35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; 36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! 37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

4. Luke 3: 1-6, KJV: 1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene, 2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; 4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; 6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Luke 7: 19-29, KJV: 19 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. 22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. 23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. 24 And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind? 25 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings courts. 26 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet. 27 This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. 29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.)

(09/13/2019) In The Last Days

Today, reply is on understanding Bible language that speaks to “the last days.” Christians are to grasp, we are living in the last stages of a profound transformation. Rather than a time-period or a season marked by catastrophe and upheaval, the last days frame the maturing and ripening for harvest of those who belong to Jesus Christ, and who will be removed from the earth at the Saviors appearing. Mankind joined to Christ is to be released from mortality. The last days are the present condition and stage of the transformation of mankind to permanently exist as a companion to divinity. It is written: 1st Thessalonians 4: 16-18, King James Version (KJV): 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shared) posted the following:

Christians, does bible say we are living in last days?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1st Corinthians 15: 50-57, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: “Normal” For the World (09/10/2019); Recognizing The End Times (04/16/2019); Messiah Already Has Come (04/14/2019); Divine Preparations for Advent (03/17/2019); “The End Is Near” (03/14/2018); Sharing The Correct Message (01/30/2017); About The End Of The World (08/30/2015)

Anonymous”, there are multiple proclamations, promises, and prophecies throughout the Bible that speak of events that will occur in the “last days” for this Creation. The things recorded and written are not shared to detail and foretell future human events that are yet to happen so much as they are to provide further revelation of the divine character, process, and substance of divinity. Divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) is immortal, and there will be no end of GOD. Discussions of the last days are not presented to belittle, frighten, or intimidate sinners; and they are provided as “prophecy” to comfort, edify and exhort. Discussions of the last days are to establish continuing consciousness of divine prerogative, unchanging eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. While there will be an apocalypse to complete and settle unresolved conflicts that exist between the Creator and all created beings and living creatures, and there will be the reconfiguration of heaven and earth, the operations of GOD will manifest judgment having finality, impartiality, and righteousness, rather than condemnation, punishment for sins, or warfare against rebellion. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Genesis 49: 1-2, King James Version (KJV): 1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. 2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.

2. Micah 4: 1-3, KJV: 1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks:

3. Acts 2: 16-21, KJV: 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

4. 2nd Timothy 3: 1-5, KJV: 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Hebrews 1: 1-3, KJV: 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

AN AFTERTHOUGHT: Where Christian believers focus on the “the last days,” it is more correct we acknowledge that those on the earth who belong to Jesus Christ, and are mature/ripe for harvest are in the last stage of their preparation to be made immortal companions of divinity. Therefore, it is not a cause for alarm; and believers should not be careful regarding how long the duration of the last days, or when there will be the conclusion for the passing of some finite and predetermined period whose length continues to remain secret and unknown.
