(11/30/2018) Discipline and Sacred Meekness

Today, reply is on divine chastisement, respect, and student responses to teacher autonomy and behavior to continue a formal atmosphere for learning. Lessons that fit us for eternal life are acquired on a regular basis through many of our ordinary, daily routines. Even so, Christian teens and young adults may express angry feelings of being unfairly imposed on in school settings, and may mistakenly receive assignments, discipline, practice, and study as detention, penalties, persecution, or punishment. Some are overly quick to complain and label as malicious the necessary requirements for instruction and classroom order. These may even attribute and label confiscation of their Bible, interruption of their time for prayer and praise, and restriction of proselytizing as malicious, and “from the devil.” Discernment of spirit content from GOD must be developed; and it is correct to acknowledge Hebrews 12: 1-8, King James Version (KJV): 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shown) posted the following:

My teacher took away my Bible?

We were in class today during study hall. The teacher took away a Muslims book and then my Bible. She said no religious books, do it at home. Can I sue this old bat?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; (Philippians 2: 13-15, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: How GOD Is Communicating (10/31/2018); Those Apt To Teach? (06/20/2018); Opposing The Divine Will (03/30/2018); Proper Training For Belief? (01/10/2018); The Spirit of Meekness (12/15/2017); Discernment, Focus and Meekness? (07/07/2017); Discipline and The Cross (06/16/2016); Divine Discipline? (12/24/2015)

Anonymous”, developing and mature Christian believers all have begun as sinners, and as those in need of transformation, guidance, sacred knowledge, and spiritual training (we also say, discipline). Multiple sacred operations must be completed that establish fellowship and joining among those entering covenant relationship with divinity, who eventually will appear as part of a community or household of faith; and there must be divinely provided opportunities and possibilities for discovery, gradual growth, continuous learning, practice, and unselfish service. Believers who are “born again” also must “grow up again” to become mature (balanced; complete; consistent; ripe; stable) for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming). Through the sacred operations of baptism that depict death of ones inborn spirit and rebirth from divine DNA so to speak, believers receive fresh endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of divinity. Included are faith, holiness, impartiality, longsuffering, lovingkindness, meekness, personhood, purity, restraint, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Increasingly, believers show themselves willing to be held accountable and “teachable” during the period for mastering skills and preparing to minister to others. Often for priests and kings, there are unwanted yet unavoidable challenges, duty, hardship, service, and suffering that will draw upon their inseparable deposits of godly strength. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Zephaniah 2: 2-3, King James Version (KJV): 2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORDs anger come upon you. 3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORDs anger.

(2.) 1st Peter 2: 1-3, KJV: 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

(3.) 1st Peter 2: 19-25, KJV: 19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Romans 13: 1-8, KJV: 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are Gods ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/29/2018) Built Upon The Spirit

Today, reply is on the sacred operations, divine substance, and immutable truthsthe rockthat serve as foundation for the new creation by Jesus Christ that is a living community to contain and display ongoing relationship with divinity through his imparted Spirit. In the same way the Creator gave form to mankind by fashioning Adam from the dust of the earth, the Holy Spirit is fashioning the components, members and process that appear as the church of Jesus Christ. By grace through faith, the testimony granted sinners who apprehend testament in the blood of Jesus is that activity of mind (e.g., dreaming, imagining, recall, thinking); senses of the flesh (e.g., hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, touching), and apostles such as Peter, James, John and Thomas “hath not revealed it unto me”. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “GRANNY NORINE” (Level 1 with no points showing, a member since May 16, 2014) posted the following:

Is Peter the rock on which Jesus' Church is built upon (Matthew 16:17-18)?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. (Isaiah 11: 1-5, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Mystery of GODhead (10/21/2018); The Church Of Jesus (06/18/2018); Christ Rejected By Pharisees? (06/17/2018); In Order To Understand (12/01/2017); Built Upon the Rock (12/23/2016); Christ The Solid Rock? (08/07/2016); Sadducees and The Cross? (03/13/2016); A Spirit Church? (04/04/2013); My Brother’s Keeper (04/05/2013)

GRANNY NORINE”, the Spirit within me identifies Jesus and the Holy Spirit as the Rock. The Incarnation of divinity using flesh as Jesus Christ did not introduce a platform for covenant relationship with divine fullness (we say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) that was new, so much as a platform to replace and advance things that had become obscured by custom, legalism, and tradition throughout Israel, and among the Jews of the Temple community. Where Moses left a legacy of the “law and the prophets,” practice by the Pharisees and Sadducees emphasized the observance of feasts, offerings and sacrifices, and centered upon the law without the prophets. While none denied the active presence of GOD (we say, the Shekinah) within the Sanctuary, and the High Priest continued to enter the Most Holy place on the annual day of atonement, there was no unanimous acceptance that the operations of GOD, the promises of GOD, and the record established through the prophets should be uppermost in acknowledgment, praise, and worship. Jesus would minister in Jerusalem as a divine High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, yet, would be recognized and responded to only by those responding to operations from the same Holy Spirit that resided within the sacred spokesperson commanded to leave the temple priesthood, John the Baptist. How readest thou? The following is the pivotal statement that declares the character, process, and substance of the new creation church: Matthew 16: 17, King James Version (KJV): 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Other verses that appear must be received and viewed using this light; for example:

(1.) 1st Corinthians 3: 11, King James Version (KJV): 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

(2.) Luke 6: 47-49, : 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

(3.) John 3: 6-7, KJV: 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

(4.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Enough said.

(11/28/2018) Mary and Joseph Followed

The image displays a lithograph from L. Turgis et Fils Editeurs Paris, 1893

Today, reply is on the faith, works, and embodiment of divinity that was displayed through the human pair sanctified to serve as the parents of Jesus Christ. What believers should expect from the sacred pair, Mary and Joseph, is very much the same as the events and expressions shared by other sacred pairs throughout the holy writings that share in the revelation of Jesus Christ. Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, Elizabeth and Zacharias, Anna and Simeon all display the patterns of childbearing as a sacred event and an important element of prophetic demonstration for those serving as spokespersons (prophets) of GOD. These divine parental figures appear as “earthen vessels” who are imperfect and who lack full sacred knowledge, yet, are filled with consecrated treasure. Thus, keeping in mind that the birth of Jesus was at a time before the outpouring of the Holy Spirit when Jerusalem meant the law, the covenant of Moses, the Temple, and tradition, Mary and Joseph were ignorant and short sighted, yet, fed and nourished the Spirit within Jesus sharing their own blood, sweat, tears, and sacred substance. It is written: Luke 2: 40-45, King James Version (KJV): 40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. 41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. 44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a days journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Godless Goddess” (Level 6 with 17,956 points, a member since September 09, 2009) posted the following:

Wouldn't we expect Mary and Joseph..?

to be highly involved with sharing their sons's holy status? Instead, we don't hear anything mentioned about Mary and Joseph spreading the good news all his life, and Jesus leaves town to go do the miracles.. if Mary and Joseph knew he was so holy and special, wouldn't they be exclaiming that and following him their entire lives?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Fathers business? And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. (Luke 2: 46-52, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Yes, Jesus Did Die (04/01/2018); A Descendent of David? (03/18/2018); In The Image of Man (05/04/2016); (08/21/2015) About Praying to Mary (08/21/2015); Christ the Son of David? (06/12/2015); The Divine Use of a Human Life? (04/23/2013); Quoting Scripture to GOD? (04/24/2013)

Godless Goddess”, here are some points for developing Christian believers to prayerfully consider regarding the accountability, faithfulness, and service as holy prophets that was demonstrated by Mary and Joseph as the earthly caretakers of Jesus Christ:

1. An overabundance of divine presence, foreknowledge, sacred mystery, and revelation to the sacred pair would have blemished the presentation of authentic humanity that the Word was sent to demonstrate on the earth. In addition to sharing limitations through the frameworks of time and space, they all were subject to the finite elements of flesh such as aging, fatigue, lack of information, physical pain, and the inheritance of mortality as the lawful consequence from the sin of the first pair, Adam. Matthew 20: 22-23, King James Version (KJV): 22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

2. Guiding, nourishing and protecting the holy child, the sacred pair endured the same fear, hardship, mental anguish, and uncertainties that came upon him, yet, did not operate having the same anointing, sacred opportunities, eternal purpose, and focused possibilities. Childbearing, parenting, and fulfillment of covenant duty are contrasted against redemption, salvation, and provision of a new testament in his blood. Luke 8: 34-38, KJV: 34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; 35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. 36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; 37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Chosen to be a sanctified vessel for divinity using flesh and human form (we say, Incarnation), the mother of Jesus, Mary, would demonstrate release from the law through death by having new life as the widow of Joseph. Mary also would be an eyewitness to the death of Jesus on the cross; be among the first to acknowledge and proclaim the resurrection of Christ; and, with the brothers and sisters of Jesus, be among those disciples and apostles who tarried together in the upper room waiting to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit that were poured out on the day of Pentecost. Continuing as a vessel for the Godhead, Mary was among the first to become a new creation and serve also as a vessel for the Holy Spirit. Acts 2: 16-21, KJV: 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/27/2018) Sinners Must Become Convicted

Today, points are shared on the operations of the Holy Spirit that are to convict the world of sin, judgment, and righteousness. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile data appears) posted the following:

What does it mean that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin or that God draws people to salvation?

When will he draw me to repentance and faith or convict me? I have begged God to save me. Why won’t he actually do it? I’m getting mad. I already hate myself , have suicidal thoughts, and wish I was anorexic

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. (John 8: 3-11, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: How Sinners Become Perfect (11/26/2018); First, Become Born Again (09/21/2018); Repentance Among Christian Believers (07/06/2018); What Is A Spirit? (03/06/2018); Through Love Not Persuasion (01/18/2018); Convinced/Convicted? (05/16/2017); A Fallen Nature? (09/01/2014); In the Likeness of His Resurrection (09/02/2014)

Anonymous”, here are some points intended to encourage and nourish developing Christian believers. To exist as life companions to immortal, incorruptible divinity, the living must share communication, exchange, and interaction (i.e., ongoing relationship) with divinity where their own makeup allows them to discern, react, and respond to the spirit substance that presents the character, makeup, and substance of GOD. Created beings and living creatures must receive fresh endowments of life essence (we say, breath; spirit; utterance; word) that impart and implant the inseparable aspects of divine nature. Included are faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

1. Conviction is a product of faith and the spiritual operations wherein divinity becomes known and apprehended as active presence (we also say, divine fullness; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). While conviction seems to be the same as becoming certain, being convinced, gaining confidence, or concluding and being sure concerning facts and information, conviction is not a product of thought or finite human mind such as feeling (i.e., sensation), imagination, intellect, logic, persuasion, and carnal reason.

2. The conviction of sin may be described as the correct knowledge that the operations of sin oppose the continued existence of sacred law, the Lawgiver, and all divine order throughout Creation. While sin is no material or physical object that has been put forth by divinity, sin displays direction, effect, and presence; and sin promotes destruction, nonexistence, and the return to conditions of chaos, confusion, and flux that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth. Sin is an enigma that has no spirit content from GOD, yet, the operations of sin may dominate awareness and self-will, and neutralize willpower within the living.

3. Despite the divine law, eternal purpose, sacred standards, and godly values expressed by divinity, mankind has continued to accept the operations of sin as being natural, normal, and routine. The Holy Spirit does not appear to accuse, arouse feelings of condemnation and guilt, or to threaten judgment and the second death. Even so, the Spirit gives rise to sorrowing for sin and repentance. Continuing the ministry of the Risen Lord to his followers upon the earth, the Holy Spirit (we also say, the Comforter; the Holy Ghost; the Spirit of Prophecy; the Spirit of Truth) furthers the transformation of mankind to exist as a new creation. With the work of exposing the true nature of sin, the Holy Spirit also accelerates growth of ones spirit, intercedes through prayer, provides spiritual gifts to the body of believers, and seals and shields believers against defilement.

4. An example of conviction that appears in the holy writings may be seen with Moses and the burning bush. Operations of the flesh such as excitement at discovery, curiosity, and inquisitiveness led Moses to leave his sheep and approach the burning bush. When told by a voice from within the flames that the ground was holy, conviction and operations of the holy spirit led Moses to prostrate himself without hesitation in acknowledgment, praise, and worship.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 5. Another example of conviction is seen with the apostle of Jesus Christ remembered as “doubting Thomas.” Others of the group who must have seemed to Thomas to be merely cheerful and excited after the flesh reported that, while Thomas was absent, Jesus had appeared in the place where they were hiding from the authorities, and mourning the Saviors death. Reacting without faith and “in the flesh,” Thomas replied he would not believe that Jesus had been crucified or resurrected from the dead until he would thrust his own finger into the place where the Lords wounds should appear. Days later, Jesus appeared among them again, and Thomas was present. Jesus challenged the apostle to touch his wounds, and be no longer faithless, but believe. From conviction, Thomas fell to his knees and cried out in acknowledgment, praise, and worship, “My Lord and my GOD.”) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/26/2018) How Sinners Become Perfect

Today, reply is on achieving divine perfection. Among Christians, believers are to acknowledge that all have been tainted through sin inherited from the first pair, Adam and Eve. Thus, there are multiple understandings as to what we now are to display as divine perfection. Because divinity exists as the origin of all integrity, quality and value, meanings for “perfection” that derive from knowledge of GOD includes anointing and consecration; balance; becoming Christlike; completeness; innocence; receiving forgiveness, healing, holiness, prosperity, or rebirth; righteousness; ripening (maturing) for harvest from the earth by Jesus Christ at his coming; resurrection from the dead; sanctification; practicing thoroughness; purity; and the final transformation of mankind that occurs through judgment with completion of the second death (we say, eternal life). A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shown) posted the following:

How do I be perfect? Jesus said to be perfect?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. (Ephesians 4: 10-16, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: When Speaking Of Christlikeness (06/25/2018); Jesus Demonstrated Perfected Humanity (10/29/2017); Accepting Christ, Accepting Change (10/20/2017); Making A Perfect World? (09/20/2017); Corruption of Ones Spirit? (05/14/2017); Becoming A Full Person (02/12/2017); Salvation Takes A Lifetime (04/06/2017)

Anonymous”, the perfection many mature Christian believers seek is a full recognition of dependency upon GOD as our Creator and the source of both existence and life, who will impart inseparable aspects of the divine makeup to the created beings and living creatures who will turn to him in love, in obedience to divine law, in repentance, and in respect to his eternal purpose. Perfection understood as godliness is different from being flawless, sinless, or in need of nothing from GOD. Finite tools such as emotion, intellect, logic, philosophy, secular knowledge, and self-will (we also say, willpower) lack the duration and power to allow everlasting relationship with the divine fullness (we also say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit), who is immortal, ineffable, incorruptible, and invisible. Sinners must undergo permanent change that is carried out by the Holy Spirit whereby they attain existence as a new creation in the presence of GOD through Jesus Christ. Not only is this a matter of becoming filled with sacred knowledge as found in the holy writings through discovery, gradual growth, learning and practice, more significantly, there is becoming transformed through a fresh endowment of spirit substance from the makeup of GOD (many say, rebirth; becoming born again and growing up again; becoming mature and ripe for harvest from the earth). Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Psalms 34: 17-19, King James Version (KJV): 17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

2. Isaiah 57: 15, KJV: 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

3. Isaiah 66: 1-2, KJV: 1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 12: 1-2, KJV: 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/25/2018) The Elimination of Sin

Today, points are shared on the complete elimination of sin and its operations among created beings and living creatures. The total removal of sin requires multiple operations of divinity. Sin is no material or physical substance that would allow it to be destroyed like waste matter; even so, sin has direction, effect and presence, and may dominate consciousness and self-will in the living. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “Purity” (Level 2 with 555 points, a member since September 11, 2018) posted the following:

At what point do Christians stop sinning?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6: 3-11, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Salvation Must Be Eternal (11/06/2018); Scripture Teachings On Repentance (10/16/2018); First, Become Born Again (09/21/2018); Baptism, Rebirth, and Resurrection (09/18/2018); Consequences and Divine Love (07/05/2018); Natural Law, Enmity, Sin (05/25/2018)

Purity”, mankind upon the earth now is challenged to coexist with sin. The existence of sin is received among Christian believers as an enigma and a mystery, for sin is contrary to the character, makeup and nature of our Creator; opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and all divine order; is empty and void of spirit substance from the fullness of divinity (we say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit); and has not been put forth from GOD who is the source of all that has existence. Sin promotes destruction, nonexistence, and return to the chaos, confusion, flux, and random patterns that were in place before the founding of heaven and earth.

Baptism depicts a divine process for recovery from sin where a persons inborn spirit dies, is buried, and raised from the dead through the implanting of divine DNA, and sacred seed. Sinners are provided a fresh endowment of life essence from the inseparable makeup and substance of GOD (we say, breath; spirit; word). Included are faith, holiness, oneness without sameness, personhood, purity, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Even so, the sinner who becomes a developing believer is only “born again” and must also “grow up again.” In the same way a small child may pass through stages of bed wetting and thumb-sucking before becoming fully adult, a Christian will be challenged by multiple desires, errors, and failures of self-will before they mature to serve as the new creation through Jesus Christ.

Men may become free from sin, and built up to recognize, choose to reject, and deliberately resist sin; yet, through finite self-will, sin can not be totally destroyed and removed from the earth. The final elimination of all sin requires the sacred operations from divinity that we speak of as judgment, permanent change of human makeup, and the second death. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Colossians 3: 12-17, King James Version (KJV): 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

2. Galatians 2: 20, KJV: 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

3. Romans 6: 22-23, KJV: 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4.  Romans 8:  5-10, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/23/2018) Why Punishment After Death?

A depiction of judgment and salvation; only those having life may appear in divine tribunal

Today, reply is on mortality, divine law, and the completion of divine judgment. Mature believers are to consider that the final judgment we speak of is already being carried out and is ongoing. Those who will meet the Lord in the air at his coming to harvest the earth now are appearing before GOD through the books of life. Others (we say, the unrighteous; the unjust; the wicked) will be examined in living tribunal that follows their resurrection. For many, it has been proclaimed in prophecy that death (the finish of life; the completion of mortality) will be followed by their completion of existence (the second death). A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile is shown) posted the following:

Christians, why does God punish people "after" they die?

FACT --- It's too late after they die to repent.

FACT --- They can't reform because they are now in Hell.

FACT --- They can't go to Heaven because they didn't repent.

So Christians, what's the specific reason why God is punishing these people after they leave Earth?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2nd Corinthians 5: 10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Preparing For The Rapture (11/09/2018); Salvation Must Be Eternal (11/06/2018); The Priesthood of Adam (11/02/2018); A Short Time Left (10/30/2018); Judgment Will Occur Forever (10/10/2018); Bible Language About Spirit? (06/13/2018); The Elimination of Death? (05/13/2018); On Law and Sin (06/07/2017)

Anonymous”, the language we use while we are sinners who promote the ideas of our culture and society speaks in terms of “punishment” by GOD for sin; however, the language developing believers are to use in the church as followers of Jesus Christ speaks in terms of being granted correction from GOD; divinity continuing eternal purpose; divine fullness (we also say, the GODhead) performing multiple sacred acts and responses (e.g., atonement; death of ones inborn Adamic spirit; rebirth from divine seed; the completion of mortality through resurrection and judgment that occur in the physical presence of GOD; the provision of eternal life). Here are some points that may help you realize the understanding among those who are to become Christlike by acknowledging sacred law, practice, and process that are to be shared by those who are the new creation of Jesus Christ:

1. Mankind was created to serve as a companion to GOD who is immortal, incorruptible, and invisible. The earth also was created as a sphere of life along with a range of active operations for mankind (e.g., aging; discovery; growth; learning; work), and the resources to ensure duration.

2. Just as GOD must present personhood, and be knowable, known, accessible and approachable, divinity must manifest righteousness, and establish his own word as a reliable, unchanging standard for communication, exchange and sacred relationship. Thus, despite the interruption that occurs because of death, Deity must complete the response to the sanctions within the divine law that were proclaimed to the first pair (Adam).

3. The law spoken by the Creator while interacting with Adam (we also say, shared through personal relationship; demonstrated and expressed as the authority, prerogative, and sovereign will of GOD; revealed) included admonition and warnings of consequences, and unwanted, yet, unavoidable events that would follow their disobedience. Included were death, destruction, and Adams loss of dominion over the earth.

4. By submitting his consciousness and self-will to the operations of sin, Adam became deprived, emptied, and unable through self-will to recover his divine substance from the makeup of GOD that always was to serve as his own life essence (we say, breath; spirit; word). Included were faith, holiness, integrity, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) In the operations of GOD, the end of a persons physical life is not the end of their full existence. Just as divinity has put forth the angels to exist being neither mortal nor immortal, divinity has begun a transformation of mankind to exist as an immortal companion to divinity that will be completed when Jesus Christ appears to harvest his followers from the earth (we say, his appearing, the Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming). Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/22/2018) Forgiven Yet Not Reconciled?

The print by Gustave Dore depicts David mourning his son Absalom

Today, points are shared on the account of King David allowing his son Absalom to return home from exile, and the matter of divine forgiveness unaccompanied by reconciliation. The full gravity of a persons offenses against GOD may not be discerned immediately; and a crime having serious spiritual consequences and outcomes may be shown less attention than a sin against mankind that is carnal such as fratricide. Because godly and righteous judgment require forgiveness, impartiality, and mercy be shown to transgressors (sinners), where parents and other family are charged to put aside and suppress feelings of love or obligation to serve as judge, they also will distance themselves to establish and maintain balance, integrity, and soundness for the process of law. In response, those who receive the benefits of judgment are to acknowledge what they have received through their regular displays of discretion, gratitude, repentance, reverence, and reconciliation, rather than ambition, irreverence, politics, or self-promotion. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “She Dances With Love” (Level 7 with 59,145 points, a member since August 27, 2007) posted the following:

Why isn't Absalom pardoned?

The king said, “Let him dwell apart in his own house; he is not to come into my presence.” So Absalom lived apart in his own house and did not come into the king’s presence.
(2 Samuel 14:24)

David shows mercy to Absalom. He does not enforce the penalty of the law that condemned his son. But Absalom is not pardoned. Why?

There is no reconciliation. Why? What was missing?

Romans 3:25 speaks about what God did for his people until the coming of Jesus Christ into the world: “in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.” God left the matter of justice for another time. Is there a connection to us in the story of David and Absalom?

That is what God had done with regard to David’s sin, and that is what David did with regard to Absalom; he “passed over former sins.”

THE GOLDEN ARROW: And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared him chariots and horses, and fifty men to run before him. And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city art thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel. And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee. Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice! And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him. And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel. (2nd Samuel 15: 1-6, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: A Descendent of David? (03/18/2018); The Operations of Sin (07/25/2017); Reconciliation Provided By Christ (05/30/2017); Carrying Out Divine Law? (03/20/2017); Restoring the Divine Presence? (03/09/2017); The Death Penalty? (10/08/2015); Why So Much Murder? (01/12/2013); Confusion 2013 (01/13/2013)

She Dances With Love”, here are some points Christian believers may consider to further apprehend mankinds inheritance from divinity and the figures of David and his son, Absalom:

1. While fratricide by Cain, the son of Adam, was a terrible transgression and violation of divine law, Cain also transgressed by dishonoring his father and mother, Adam and Eve. More than this, Cain despised and rejected his inheritance of divine priesthood with its sacred operations for atonement, judgment, offering, sacrifice, and salvation for the earth that was modeled after the divine priesthood within the temple in heaven.

2. While GOD set a mark and seal upon Cain for the defense and protection (we say, deliverance; salvation) of one who committed murder, and Cain goes on to live a life of repentance, Cain is not to be seen pleading for or acknowledging divine forgiveness; thus, reconciliation does not appear so much as the divine bestowal of mercy that is revealed and made visible primarily through judgment. It is Seth, the son of Adam, who appears as the chosen heir to the priesthood, and who prefigures the ministry of Jesus Christ on the earth.

3. While Absalom also was guilty of killing his own brother, his transgression attacked the dynasty bestowed to David through divine promise. Absalom denied and despised the divine anointing of David as the monarch (chief; king) over Israel, his own accountability as an heir to the throne of David (not that of his grandfather), and the duty of his father David to deliver justice and serve as the chosen spokesperson (we say, prophet) from GOD to administer and proclaim divine law.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Absalom as the son of King David is most a figure of Jesus Christ when he is ordered to be killed by Joab (the commander of the army, and nephew of the king). The hair on his head became entangled in the branches and limbs of a tree, and Absalom was plucked from his mount, and suspended in the air. The betrayal by Judas is depicted, and the rejection of Christ by the elders of Israel.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(11/21/2018) The Revelation of Grace

Today, the reply is on Creation, divine grace, and revelation.  A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “wandycakes” (Level 3 with 1,035 points, a member since August 04, 2009) posted the following:

Why do religious people think they deserve a God?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 5: 1-6, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Who Deserves Divine Love? (06/23/2017); Forgiveness, Grace and Merit (06/22/2017); Only GOD Is Good? (05/03/2017); Operations of Christian Faith (04/28/2017); Tools for Revelation? (10/26/2015); Grace is Not Against Law (07/23/2014); Cruel and Offensive (07/24/2014); The Benefit of Grace (03/19/2013); Magical Resurrection? (03/20/2013)

wandycakes”, sharing with you an answer that many mature Christian believers might find acceptable, here are some points regarding mankinds relationship (i.e., continuing communication, exchange, and interaction) with divinity:

1. GOD is the origin of everything that has existence and life. Through divine grace (we also say, unmerited favor), angels and mankind as well as other created beings and living creatures all have been called forth, emanated or fashioned, and placed within multiple spheres of life (e.g., heaven, earth, the land, the sea) having the aspects of consciousness and self-will. Along with the frameworks of time and space, the living are to respond to divine order and sacred law that generate specific opportunities, possibilities, and sacred operations that include aging, birth, death, discovery, gradual growth, judgment, learning, suffering, and unselfish service to GOD.

2. The many divine acts of carnal, material, and spiritual creation all have been expressions of the character, makeup, nature, eternal purpose, and sovereign will of divinity. Similarly, the divine acts and sacred events (e.g., atonement, forgiveness, Incarnation, miracles, proclamation, prophecy, resurrection of the dead, salvation) that make GOD knowable, known, accessible, and approachable (we say, revelation) are provided to establish the completeness and integrity that serves as personhood within the living.

3. Divine gifts and tools have been bestowed upon the living that include covenant relationship, deliverance, life essence (we also say, breath; spirit; word), priesthood, sacred knowledge, and secular knowledge. Through operations of the Holy Spirit men also are to receive a fresh endowment of spirit substance from GOD (we say, fire baptism and rebirth) and exist containing inseparable aspects of the divine makeup such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.)

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible: Ephesians 2: 4-10, King James Version (KJV): 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
