Today, points are shared on the use of prayer to regain emotional and mental health. The things from GOD to provide balance, hope, joy, order, and security in our lives are numberless, even so, believers do not experience change as magic and overnight success. There must be discovery, gradual growth, learning, patience, persistence, and hard work that demonstrates faith. Fasting, prayer, and other sacred practices can not be used to influence or manipulate divinity. Healing of body, mind, or spirit must be understood in accord with sacred law, divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. 1. Prayer should be understood as a sacred discipline and practice to establish and maintain regular communication, exchange, and interaction with GOD who may be known as divinity, the Godhead, or the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Properly understood, those offering prayer are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the same spirit presence and process that was in Jesus Christ while he was on the earth using human form and life-process.

2. Prayer is a sacred event wherein a person gives expression to their own divine content imparted as “life essence” (breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of GOD, received as a fresh endowment of spirit substance in rebirth, or carried out in ones lifestyle and daily routine as resurrection-life from Jesus Christ.

3. Christian believers use many different displays and gestures when presenting their prayers to divinity such as females covering/males uncovering the head; making the sign of the cross; and speaking in tongues, speaking aloud, or speaking silently through thought. In addition to asking for help and material resources from GOD, confession and truth-speaking should always be primary goals during prayer.

4. Prayer is provided by divinity to address spiritual needs, and should be practiced in balance with other sacred practices (e.g., praise; unselfish service; worship). The material and social patterns identified as immaturity; behavioral, emotional, mental, and psychological illness; insanity; exaggerated pride; the operations of sin; and temporary confusion often are best regarded as expressions of the flesh rather than as defining expressions of a person’s integrity and spiritual fullness from GOD.

Today, reply is on the account of Jesus using physical violence against the moneylenders within the courtyard at the Temple in Jerusalem. Like the Tabernacle of Moses, the Temple was to be a visible place of the unseen GOD’s continual presence with Israel. The sanctuary and other devoted places that are aspects of the church created by Jesus Christ are now also acknowledged as houses of GOD, and places of his appearing in Spirit. The holy writings show that, without correction from divinity, many will not realize that they are endowed with blessing and material prosperity from the Creator. GOD does supply evangelists, priests, prophets, rulers, and other of his servants with all they need (food, shelter, water, etc.) for accomplishing the sacred tasks they are assigned and trained to complete. Yet, the word of GOD, the divine process and substance we receive are not to be used as merchandise or personal property that we may dispose of as we please. Believers are equipped with divine gifts so they may resemble, reflect, and reveal the character and likeness of Jesus Christ. Most Christian parents prefer to provide experiences of affection, gentleness, and tenderness to their children, and many are reluctant to accept that there also must be displays of commitment, firmness, and sternness against wrongdoing. Scolding and spanking will not make a child (or an adult person) permanently change to behave as a reliable and trustworthy daughter or son of GOD who is a sanctified believer; even so, as a member of the household of GOD, receiving in ones own flesh the consequences of their own errors and unwillingness to change may provide correction and otherwise unavailable warning regarding the consequences of judgment to come. “Anonymous”, a parent may scold or spank a child, yet, does not disown their own offspring. Similarly, the process of GOD for sinners who repent is one of change, correction, and challenge. Jesus addressed all the money-changers as partners in a consecrated covenant with divinity, who had agreed when called upon to accept correction from GOD, and to acknowledge the wrath of GOD against their nation, their own sins, and the sins of their fathers. Just as children who lack adult intellect and logic cannot justify and reason out all their behavior and conduct to their own parents, and often must be trained using graphic, memorable, and physical experience that reveal the displeasure of their caretakers, those in covenant with GOD, as babes, also may require challenges and rebuke for betrayal, disobedience, disrespect, and irreverence. The spiritual instruction that comes to us in the account of Jesus driving the money-changers away from the Temple in Jerusalem proclaims that correct covenant relationship with divinity is one that includes benefits, inheritance and privileges to mankind, yet also requires integrity, sacred service, and continual acknowledgment of the holiness of GOD by all who are in the covenant relationship. In effect, the money-changers created a marketplace on holy ground where there was the buying and selling of livestock for sacrifices to travelers who would come to worship, and the exchange of local currency for letters of credit and cash from other areas (e.g., coins, salt, silver, gold). The Temple community could influence and defile the entire nation, and was made up of more than the High Priest, the Sanhedrin Court of 70, the Levites, or the scribes and lawyers who argued cases using the sacred law. Beggars, lepers seeking to be certified by the priests, those in lives of devotion to GOD (e.g., Simon and Anna, the prophets who first acknowledged Jesus as the fulfillment of divine promise), those seeking to make special offerings and petitions, pilgrims, and those seeking power through self-promotion frequented the Temple. To the extent the Temple continued worldly customs and traditions that the people thought were divinely approved, the Temple was a source of great error. Sacred law required that the heads of households and the primary heir from every family must assemble during specific annual feasts and festivals. This was a divinely given method to transform Israel from being a collection of tribes into a united people. Secular concerns such as politics, regional government, celebrations of sacred events (we say, miracles), and social welfare were not to be their agenda. Rather, focus was to be on fellowship with divinity. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible and a selection from the music ministry of Steve Amerson:

Today, reply is on what sinners can do to become consistent, mature, and “perfect”. As those called to minister on the earth representing Jesus Christ, there are times believers are not to speak their own words that are discouraging and negative; yet, they are not withholding truth, nor is there any practice of deceit and lying. The believer is sharing their faith, and displaying their commitment to speak on behalf of the Lord. Mankind on the earth may only become sinless through the operations of divinity, rather than any human discipline, practice, or self-regimen. The finite tools of intellect, logic, philosophy, science, and self-will (willpower) are not enough to bring about the permanent changes required to exist as the children of light. It is written: Galatians 2: 16-21, King James Version (KJV): 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? I keep trying to be perfect but it is making me depressed. How do I learn to be happy with it?

People should strive for perfection. You should make discipline a strong suit or Jesus will hate you. You should also have found your aptitude by a young age , be the type of woman to take charge, be a life long learner, etc.

“Anonymous”, the spirit substance imparted to us from the makeup of GOD must be built up within developing Christians through such elements as discovery, gradual growth, learning, unselfish service, and suffering. All Christian believers begin as sinners who willingly turn to divinity for guidance and support to overcome the operations of sin. Sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and the universe put forth through divine order. More than this, sin promotes nonexistence and a return to the conditions of chaos, flux, and streams without direction that were in place before Creation (we say, preexistence). While sin is no spirit or feature put forth from GOD, sin may dominate awareness and self-will (willpower) in created beings and living creatures. The death of Christ on the cross has not eliminated sin, yet, mankind now receives divine tools to more correctly recognize, reject, and resist the operations of sin. In addition to the atoning blood of Jesus there is a fresh endowment of life essence (breath; spirit; word) from the makeup of GOD that includes the inseparable aspects of Christ-likeness (e.g., faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin). Believers are encouraged to display the spirit of Christ in their lifestyle and daily routines; in what they choose to say and speak; and in what they choose to hear and see. Today, reply is on the correctness of spirit gifts, signs and ecstatic worship appearing during church gatherings. The church is shown to be authentic as “the household of faith” through sacred events (miracles), the presence of divine spirit and truth, and the sharing of sacred substance, rather than through programs for secular education, entertainment, family recreation, and social welfare programs. Rather than edify and nourish faith, there are expressions and practices in the church that can generate embarrassment, fear, distrust, division, quarrels, and uncertainty. These worship events may not be plainly condemned or rejected by the full congregation, therefore, such practices are best maintained at home and within ones private chambers for praise, prayer, and contemplation. Examples often are dancing in the Spirit, displays of ecstasy, trances, and the use of tongues without interpretation. Murmurings and whispers of “Jesus” during a church service?

I recently started attending a new church. I love every part about it, from how scriptural the message is, to how loving the people are.

I have noticed, however, during certain services, things become..different? Once a prophet came and prayed over several people, who broke down crying on the floor. Everyone started whispering and murmuring. People screamed, “thank you Lord!” and “Jesus! Jesus!”. It definitely caught me off guard, as I haven’t seen this in the churches I’ve attended throughout my life.

Would somebody be able to tell me why this happens, or what scriptural reasoning there is for this? I would really appreciate it! I’d like to learn so I can better understand why this takes place. Thank you!

“Anonymous”, correctly understood, the church is a collection of spirits and a body that regularly gathers to acknowledge divinity who exists as spirit, is immortal, is incorruptible, and is invisible. The authority, dominion, and power of GOD appears through divine operations within the lives of created beings and living creatures who are committed, guided, and become transformed through discovery, gradual growth, fellowship, unselfish service, and suffering. Christian believers become set apart for sacred service (we say, are sanctified) by receiving fresh endowments of life essence (breath; spirit; word) imparted from the makeup of GOD. While living on the earth, and meeting the same life challenges and “growing pains” as others, developing Christian believers all are to receive inseparable aspects of divine fullness (we also say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit), and become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his coming. Included are balance, faith, holiness, integrity, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

The church is held to be authentic as an instrument and tool of GOD where immutable, unchanging truth is shared that includes divine law; where the multiple covenants established by GOD with mankind are acknowledged; where the sacred events (miracles) and the promises of GOD are continued; and where there are the appearance of spiritual gifts and sacred substance as an affirmation of commanded expectations (hope), the demonstration and fulfillment of prophecy, and the further revelation of divine prerogative (we also say, grace), eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD.

GOD is not the author or origin of confusion; and the church must practice discipline and restraint. However, there are many systematic and permanent changes a man must undergo to become a life companion with divinity. For example, in water baptism, ones inborn spirit must die and be buried; only then can the believer become reborn through divine DNA (so to speak), and grow to display the fruit of the Spirit. Being a vessel filled with divine seed, the believer will exist as a son or daughter of GOD, a divine heir, and the new creation of Jesus Christ. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

Today, reply discourages the idea that the loss of ones faith can be known by changes in their emotions and physical sensations. Ability to endure as a follower of Jesus Christ is a matter of ones spirit substance from the makeup of divinity, not their good and bad feelings that derive from the flesh. Where Christians are faithful and steadfast in their walk with the Lord, they also make visible otherwise unseen integrity, and the faith of Abraham. In spite of anxiety, discomfort, doubts or other ill feelings, it is the duty (a task that must be carried out and performed—agree, disagree; like it, don’t like it) of Christian believers to continue displaying certainty of their redemption and salvation. The commitment that appears among followers of Jesus Christ is not based on changing life conditions, rather it is founded on multiple immutable and unchanging sacred promise. The believer is to behave in a way that affirms the doctrine, holds to principle, continues obedience to divine law, and furthers godly hope. Believers continue to receive benefits and privilege from GOD on the basis of the atonement made by Jesus Christ, divine grace, and love—not because of their own knowledge, practices, and works they will display. “Anonymous”, those who turn to GOD must take on a consciousness of things that are invisible and that cannot be known simply by using our senses (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching). In the course of becoming mature Christian believers, many will be overwhelmed by negative emotions, uncomfortable physical sensations, and lingering or recurring thoughts that are upsetting. Partly this is because all who turn to Christ begin as sinners who unknowingly approach the redemption and salvation offered through Jesus Christ as a peculiar man-made solution to problems that are carnal, personal, and social. The sinner must undergo a transformation wherein they can be conscious continually of their own spirit content from the makeup of divinity, and apply spirit operations rather than such finite tools as secular knowledge, intellect, logic, carnal reason, philosophy, science, and critical thinking. Rather than “living in the moment” through ones senses, living in the Spirit the Christian may proclaim that divine joy already has been provided, and will not be taken away.

While those who come to Christ must make deliberate choices and sound decisions, the permanent changes that must occur within their spirit makeup as they continue life experience on the earth may only be completed through operations of divinity. Thus, in water baptism carried out by the Holy Spirit, a person’s inborn spirit dies, is buried, and is resurrected from the dead, so to speak. Inseparable aspects of the divine fullness will be imparted to a developing believer that includes balance, completeness, faith, forbearance, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, personhood, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Those who are “born again” receive divine seed (we also say, sacred DNA), must “grow up again” as children of GOD on the earth, and are to become mature/ripe for harvest by the Lord at his appearing (i.e., Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming).

Within created beings and living creatures, the operations of sin may dominate consciousness and self-will (we also say, willpower). Sin influences desire and action; and sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, and the entire universe. The divine response to sin is not so much its elimination as the reconciliation of the living to GOD through spirit process and a fresh endowment of spirit substance. A Christian believer is to exist operating under GOD through dependence, commanded expectation (we say, hope), faith, sacred knowledge, eternal purpose, and truth. Even in the midst of bereavement, disappointment, the many storms of life, and tribulation, the mature believer can demonstrate focus, power, and strength through elements that are otherwise invisible. Consider the following that uses language from the Bible:

John 3: 5-7, King James Version (KJV): 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Romans 1: 18-21, KJV: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Today, reply is on giving while in the workplace. Giving without integrity is dead.  Correctly practiced, giving for Christian believers always will be marked by such elements as balance, accountability, cheerfulness, dutifulness, gratitude, humility, impartiality, lovingkindness, peace of mind, respect, and restraint. Do you think it was wrong for my manager not to give the homeless man a meal?

A while ago a homeless guy stopped by the fast food place I worked at and asked for a meal. My manager said no and gave him the excuse that there are cameras watching our every move and he could get in trouble for giving away a meal.

All of the employees were talking about how he should’ve given the man some food because people still get away with doing things even though the cameras are watching. My manager told me that lately the management team has been getting in trouble for giving away too many free meals and he was afraid if getting in trouble.

I for one kind of agree with him. As an employee I don’t even get a free meal and I bend over backwards for this establishment. I don’t see why some random person off the street should get free food for doing nothing. He can take advantage of the local soup kitchen.

“Anonymous”, there are correct and wrong places, times and ways of displaying ones faith, applying truth from the Bible, and of giving to the poor. Managers in the hospitality industry and those they supervise must discharge a broad range of duties regarding the inventory, the reputation of their firm, and the materials used to present their goods to the public for income. Without a full payment for the goods, a report of pilfering (petty theft by an employee; violation of the contract and job description) should be filed, rather than a report of charitable giving. Those who want to use the organization they work for to provide gifts and support to others should use the opportunities, policies and programs of their firm intended to express goodwill and support to the community-at-large. Where the manager, or a worker wanted to share with an individual homeless person who came into their store, they would have had to deposit payment from their own wallet into the corporate cash register, or surrender the meal(s) they were to receive as an employee (e.g., breakfast/dinner/lunch).

For most of us, the workplace is not a setting for the full expression of our spiritual beliefs; there is an unwritten accord that preaching, proselytizing, or religious ceremonies, practices and rites are not to be carried out in the workplace. Developing Christian believers are in a relationship with divinity where all they possess, all they share, and much of what they do is directed primarily to GOD for the fulfillment of sacred commitment, eternal purpose, and expressing the sovereign will of GOD. In a similar way, believers are encouraged to acknowledge their employers as covenant partners with whom they are bound through personal accountability, legal agreements, ethical process, promises, and shared financial interests. Sinners who become “born again” are cautioned to avoid taking on the task of judging others, particularly with regard to giving, service, and worship. In addition to the risk of “jumping to conclusions,” those who judge encounter many subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden shifts in meaning, quality and value) that must be assigned weight, and correctly examined for their influence and outcome.

Various unexpected events (e.g., transportation accidents, fires, flooding, mudslides, snow) may result in multiple deaths, and urgent demands for funding, gifts, medical supplies, and other support. Properly performed, giving to the church allows sharing through multiple carefully managed programs and mechanisms for distributing resources. Such giving should be regular and reliable; and, in the same way one disciplines, plans and uses restraint for their spending, giving also is best accomplished using a budget, formal order, and restraint. Here are further points believers reflect on that use language from the Bible:

1. Proverbs 16: 25, King James Version (KJV): 25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

2. Proverbs 20: 11, KJV: 11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

Even so, divine judgment requires that the living acknowledge that GOD is selective imparting life essence (we also say, breath; spirit; word) to mankind that is made from inseparable aspects of the divine makeup (e.g., longsuffering, meekness, oneness without sameness, purity). Romans 5: 6-11, KJV: 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Romans 13: 8-10, KJV: 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
