Focus, today, is upon GOD the Father appearing to mankind by using human aspect and form that permanently exists within the GODhead, the person Jesus Christ.  For Christian believers to “see” is to “accept, grasp by faith, maintain, and perceive as truth.”  Even so, it is prophesied in the holy writings that the living and the resurrected dead all will see Jesus with their own two eyes when he comes to take from the earth his own disciples and followers (we say, Advent, the harvest, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  Christian believers are to acknowledge Jesus (we say the Son of Man, the Son of the Highest, the Son of GOD) as the most complete and precise physical presentation of the fullness of divinity that ever has been provided.  Unlike the burning bush, or the clouds and pillars of fire by day and by night, Jesus is an everlasting manifestation of the Father for access, exchange and interaction with created beings and living creatures.  Through Incarnation divinity approaches flesh having finite awareness, equality, mortality, self-will, and vulnerability.  Awe, dread, immutability, and terror are suspended; imminence, intimacy, and respect are shared along with rebirth, refreshing, and renewal.  Apprehending and “seeing” the Father may only be accomplished through the Son, and the sacred operations of the Holy Spirit.  Included are faith, forgiveness, holiness, repentance, revelation, suffering, and visitation.  The fighter at “Yahoo! “dead fundie”, many mature Christian believers will agree that the holy writings do not include promises or prophecies that mankind will ever “see” (with your eyes) GOD who is spirit.  Believers will “see” with their consciousness and indwelling spirit from GOD.  The fullness and makeup of divinity is spoken of as “Godhead”, and has appeared upon the earth using the visible form and person of Jesus Christ.  Where men have “seen” God through trances and visions, it has been the Son, and not the Father.  The Savior is in relationship with the Godhead as a son to the Father, and as a ruler to the Holy Spirit.  Christ is to be received as an appearance of the other members of the Godhead sharing with them in oneness without sameness.  When Jesus died upon the cross being in flesh and blood, all of his blood was poured forth and removed to be used in atonement and purifying the Temple in heaven.  Thus, we understand that, his body that was witnessed by the apostles ascending into heaven, was already consecrated and hallowed; and he will continue using that identical appearance and form throughout eternity.  The character, makeup, and substance of GOD is only inseparable spirit matter.  While our thought processes using the Greek models from Aristotle are to analyze (divide, partition, separate) and synthesize (group together as categories, classes, etc.) aspects of Deity as though they are discrete elements, spirit must be understood as diffuse, formless, immaterial, incorruptible, and unbounded.  For this reason, comprehending spirit requires operations that are put forth only by GOD (we say, divine revelation), rather than intellect, logic, empirical research, philosophy, secular knowledge, science, and technology.  Consider again how some of this is stated using the language from the Bible:

(1.)   John 1:  17-18, King James Version (KJV):  17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.  18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

(2.)  Job 19:  25-27, KJV:  25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:  26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:  27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

(3.)  Matthew 5:  7-9, KJV:  7 Blessed are the merciful:  for they shall obtain mercy.  8 Blessed are the pure in heart:  for they shall see God.  9 Blessed are the peacemakers:  for they shall be called the children of God.

(4.)  1st John 4:  10-15, KJV:  10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.  12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.  13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.  15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

There is far more to be said, carefully examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  3rd John 1:  11, KJV:  11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. Scripture points are shared on the intimate relationship of Christian believers as the offspring of GOD.  Divinity is known by word and spirit.  Apart from operations completed by the Spirit of GOD, the substance conveyed by human communication can only be carnal, material, and social.  With this in view, the language used by those outside of Christ to communicate concerning divinity and things of spirit, at best, is only suggestive, and does not provide accuracy, clarity, exactness, and precision.  More than simply agreement, bonding by blood, and covenant, the disciples of Jesus Christ become established in adoption through the Holy Spirit (also called the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth), through sacred inheritance, and through new life as children of the Father in heaven.  Just as infants must pass through growing and learning to become mature, believers must become ripe to be harvested from the earth at the coming of Jesus, and made perfect for eternity through operations by GOD.  Consider again the following verses, and the discussion below:  Acts 17:  29-31, King James Version (KJV):  29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.  30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.  Also, Romans 8:  14-17, KJV:  14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.  1st John 4:  18-20, KJV:  18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:  because fear hath torment. “Anonymous”, many Christian believers hold to the understandings generated by faith and the holy writings, that Deity participates in various relationships with created beings and living creatures upon multiple levels, and through different devices.  The language we are given regarding this aspect of life experience for those upon the earth includes “access”, “appearing”, “forgiveness”, “incarnation”, “inheritance”, “judgment”, “divine love,” “preeminence”, “rule”, “sanctification”, and “the expressed will of GOD.”  Just as infants and toddlers at first are totally dependent upon their parents for birth, cleansing, nourishment, and protection, every Christian first is helpless and dependent.  Also, just as a newborn baby must develop following a profound separation from all it has experienced and known within the mother’s womb, the born again believer must separate from the world system, and becoming increasingly independent and self-reliant as one having an endowment from GOD.  The believer receives deposits of spirit matter from the makeup of divinity (divine DNA, so to speak) as well as baptism and washing, death and rebirth, guidance and instruction.  Children do not have to acquire animal aspects of humanity by learning (e.g., appetite, instinct, intuition), yet, they must be guided into expressing love within stable relationships.  As children grow, they spend less and less time in the physical presence of their parents; and rely upon knowledge that is the internalization of feelings, images, thoughts, values, and words from their primary caretakers.  Consider again the following points from the Bible:

(1.)  John 3:  1-10, King James Version (KJV):  1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:  for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:  so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?  10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

(2.)   1st Peter 2:  1-5, KJV:  1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,  2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:  3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.  4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,  5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

(3.)  1st Peter 1:  7-9, KJV:  7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:  8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:  9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Of course, there are many other verses here that should be carefully considered, correctly understood, and made a part of ones sacred knowledge.  (For example, (4.)  2nd Corinthians 5:  6-8, KJV:  6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:  7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)  8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

“oscar youre a grouch”, upon the earth, and among couples in intimate relationship, jealousy appears as an extreme reaction wherein one partner displays anger, insecurity, possessiveness, suspicion and violent behavior against their mate, or toward another person for having been overly familiar with another.  Even conduct that may be casual and surface as well as affection shown their family members may trigger jealous behavior.  While many claim romantic  jealousy is a proof of deep and undying love, in fact, it is the expression of emotional imbalance, immaturity, and uncontrollable rage.  Surprisingly, then, Jealous is one of the holiest names revealed from divinity to mankind describing the Deity as one who demands exclusive service and worship from those put forth as created beings and living creatures.  This is usually recognized more quickly when stated in other words, such as, Thou shalt have no other gods before me!  Consider the following from the Bible:

(1.)  Proverbs 6:  26-35, King James Version (KJV):  26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread:  and the adultress will hunt for the precious life.  27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?  28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?  29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.  30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;  31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.  32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding:  he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.  33 A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.  34 For jealousy is the rage of a man:  therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.  35 He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.

(3.)  Deuteronomy 32:  15-23, KJV:  15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked:  thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.  16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.  17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.  18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.  19 And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.  20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be:  for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.  21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities:  and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.  22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.  23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.

Various names and titles Christian believers use when speaking of Jesus come into view, today.  The Savior is widely known as the Prince of Peace, the King of Kings, and the Son of GOD, yet, he also is called the Branch, the Prince of Life, Joshua, Yeshua, and the everlasting Father.  How we speak of Jesus and our salvation pertains to acknowledging the revelation from GOD, correctly knowing whom we serve, and operating securely as joint-heirs with Christ.  The writer at “Yahoo! “cactus_flower_az”, the answer to your question should have importance to all believers around the world.  Many regard the use of holy names and sacred titles as an important aspect of acknowledgment, of prayer, of praise, of obedience, of recognition, and of proper reverence.  Some go so far as to forbid speaking certain holy names, or using an agreed-upon term in their place.  In part, this is because most mature believers want to avoid appearing to be casual, disrespectful, ignorant, lacking good taste, offhand (we say, flip), “overly familiar,” presumptuous or profane when speaking of divinity.  In sacred knowledge, a name is the record of ones accomplishments and deeds (we say, reputation, what one is known for).  In addition to the title “Christ” (the Anointed One) that identifies Jesus as one divinely consecrated, endowed, ordained and sanctified to serve as advocate, High Priest, judge, king, mediator, prophet, steward and teacher, Jesus is also called the Son of Man (Adam), the Heir, the Son of the Highest as well as Lord, Messiah, redeemer, sacrifice, savior, and the Lamb.  Most Christian believers are at ease using titles from the holy writings that appear when referring to Christ including the Good Shepherd, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, and the Amen.  As born again believers continue learning and maturing (we say, growing again), ones relationship with divinity may require these and  many other expressions to display affection, appeal to sovereign authority, and to show humility and respect.  Here are a few points from the Bible that may add to everyone’s understanding:

(1.)  1st Chronicles 16:  34-36, King James Version (KJV):  34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.  35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.  36 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

The proper places for private, public and secret prayer are considered today along with the Savior’s condemnation of counterfeit religious displays and vainglory (we say, showing off).  The prophecies of Jesus to condemn hypocrisy and self-promotion do not contradict the divine exhortations to continue good works, importunity, intercession, devotions performed out-of-doors, and shared prayer.  Given that the gathering places once set apart only for service to GOD now also are used as social halls, community centers, and auditoriums for civic service, amusement and recreation, church sanctuaries are often defiled and profaned by personal chatter, gossip, quarrels and whispering. Some congregations even display cadavers and honor their dead in the areas once strictly set apart for intimacy with GOD by divine laws against uncleanness. While the tabernacle and temple were divinely chosen as locations for oracles, offerings and sacrifice, no specific place was commanded by Deity as the setting for prayer.  Prayer has been neither forbidden nor required on the basis of age and gender criteria; and group prayer is practiced by as few as two partners as well as by many more than one hundred.  (See Acts 1:  12-15, Acts 21:  4-6, 1st Timothy 2:  1-6 and James 5:  13-18, KJV.)  The fighter at “Yahoo! “Yk”, here are a few points that many Christian believers take into account regarding prayer:

(1.)  Prayer is one form of intimate communication between believers and divinity that permits multiple forms of heartfelt exchange and interaction.  Included are acceptance, agreement, appeal, approval, confession, dedication, intercession, lamentation, listening, petition, praise, promise, sacrifice, sealing, and submission.

(2.)  Because prayer also cleanses and sets apart for service (we say, sanctifies), the sanctuary of most church buildings are accounted anointed, consecrated, and purified through prayer.  Thereby, as though it were the upper room recorded in scripture, the area where believers assemble becomes their most holy place wherein they may receive the divine presence; and it is not simply because of its size that congregations gather there for instruction, prayer, and worship.

(3.)  No believer ever prays alone.  Their prayers are joined to those of the angels, to those of Christ and the Holy Spirit as well as to those of every other believer who was, who is, and who will be.  Thus, the power of a single prayer is amplified and multiplied.

As with all the things of our salvation, there is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Believers pray without fear in all places (the home, the workplace, the battlefield) understanding that nothing can separate us from the love of GOD in Christ.  The assembly or body is itself a “closed setting” wherein believers may offer prayer as though concealed and hidden.  Outsiders may hear or see the carnal dimensions that indicate believers are praying such as bowing the head, folding the hands, or bending the knee.  However, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit are in a direct communication that does not even require speaking aloud.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.

“Ruth”, Christian believers are to regard as “darkness” the criticisms and judgments that come from anyone other than our Savior.  Even so, here are a few points on “light” you may find useful:

(1.)  By “being in the light” many mistakenly think that believers are to perform and “show-off” in the public forum and social media (give us a sign, give us a sign!).  Celebrity, controversy, fame, notoriety, and popularity are actually their goals; and the fruits of their labors are usually division, error, schism, and spiritual confusion.  Outsiders will see only a shadow from the intimacy and spiritual power of a Christian life that is correctly personal and private.

(2.)  Many are feeling and groping about because they are blind from misapplying and misusing the light provided by the holy writings.  Their goals are to control and master the light, rather than reflect and shine forth as lights.  Such persons are spiritually dead and unproductive, for they fix their gaze, and stare into light, ever learning and never coming into the knowledge of the truth.  Light intended to allow change, choice and growth should also destroy doubt, ignorance, and lack of accountability.

(3.)  For mature Christian believers, “light” is easily understood as a set of divinely given laws, precepts, and principles that determine the duration, quality, and spirit content of created beings and living creatures along with their communication, exchange and interactions within and because of relationship to divinity. 

(4.)  There is a superabundance of light.  Covenant, law, the Gospel, and the Revelation of Jesus Christ are all spoken of as “light”.  Believers may vary in the extent of experience and the fullness of instruction they have received regarding the things of prophecy and salvation (no one knows it all, so to speak); yet, all are accountable for the measure of light they have been exposed to, now comprehend, and should practice.  All are to operate in accordance with their own knowledge of divinity, and the light will anchor their understanding to acknowledge Jesus Christ at his appearing.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Believers use the language of “light” because light is a condition that allows directed motion.  Changes in the amount and intensity of light support our frameworks of time and space as well as our sense of opportunity and possibility.  The imparted Spirit from GOD (we say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth) is emanated as light and utterance (we say, word).)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

THE BATTLE AXE:  GOD and The Framework of Time (09/20/2014)—(5.)  Time pertains to the accurate and complete revelation of eternal divinity to mankind as the movement to acquire sacred knowledge, and to move through all the phases and stages of spiritual perfection.  Time is not so much an expression of divinity and hallowed substance as it is a structure that allows expression by created beings and living creatures.  Time appears through processes of comparison and contrast that are generated as recognition of conditions, and measurable dimensions for continued existence that include darkness and light, the power of the air appearing as climate and weather as well as fixed patterns (we say, cycles) of movement by celestial objects (i.e., the sun, moon, and stars).  Because many define time as beginning at birth and ending with death, time is mistakenly spoken of as an artifact (by product, outcome, or result) of mortality.  Time is not a creation of human intellect, logic, mathematics, reason, and science.  Christian  believers are given a new, more godly understanding of time through such doctrines as the resurrection for divine judgment; the transformation of believers in Christ to become immortal and incorruptible; the second death that eliminates sinners and wickedness in the Lake of Fire; and through the teachings of a future eternal life that begins before ones physical death through baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth having a fresh endowment from the makeup of GOD).  The Adversary (Satan) and those distracted through the power of the air embrace a false notion of eternal life.  In their understanding, being and consciousness are generated and maintained through self will; and may exist without the frameworks of time, space, and purpose that are generated by divinity.  As in the Garden of Eden, the serpent still does not acknowledge the place of GOD as sovereign over all existence and Creation, and continues to counsel mankind using various philosophies and belief systems, that man may be as GOD without being in submission to the dispensations and operations controlled by divinity.  Consider again the Scriptures:  Ecclesiastes 3:  1-8, 2nd Timothy 3:  1-9, KJV.

(1.)  Titles and names for GOD are important as aspects of communication, fellowship with believers, and prayer.  What you will say, and how you will be responded to will turn upon your use of the divine name.  The name is also part of the sacred knowledge and full revelation of divinity that created beings and living creatures must have to experience the active presence of GOD in continuing relationship.  Were a man to marry a woman, never speak her name, require she clean, cook, share her body, the closeness and intimacy of their marriage would be affected.  Without communication, gentleness, kindness, respect, and tenderness their union would be threatened and weakened.

(2.)  Salvation through Jesus Christ is not merely a mechanical process whereby GOD in heaven further claims, owns, and possesses all created beings and living creatures as abstract objects, and material things.  Because of the endowment at Creation, mankind is capable of displaying an animal, a human, or a divine nature.  At some point, any one, or combination of these possible expressions may appear.  The operations of sin that influence awareness and self-will in the living, also corrupt (we say, decay, rot) the spirit content needed to exist as companions to an eternal GOD. 

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  GOD is a spirit who is an active presence invisible to human eyes, that must be known by operating upon various features within the human environment.  Included are the attitudes and behavior of individuals, exchanges and interactions within groups, and such forces of nature as darkness, light, water, and wind.  GOD has established that knowing divinity in a personal way begins with awareness of the things GOD has done.  GOD is to be known and spoken of on the basis of divine actions (e.g., Law Giver, Redeemer, Savior), exalted position and sacred content (e.g., holiness, Holy One, exclusiveness, Jealous, sovereignty, Most High), and sacred deeds (e.g., Deliverer, Healer, Judge).)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

So how come your christians go to war?



THE BATTLE AXE:  On Christians Being Inclusive? (07/16/2014)—(4.)  For Christian believers, the primary method for making your own life better is to share and improve the lives of others (we say, unselfish service to GOD).  Because this is done only by displaying the gentleness, humility, and simplicity in Christ along with submission to the graciousness of GOD, believers all must operate without affectation, boasting, covetousness, hostility, pretension, “showing off,” and self-promotion.  For any belief system, there is a demand for clarity and order that can only be achieved where the creed, doctrine and tenets of acceptance are pure and transparent (i.e., without contradiction, hidden motives, inconsistency, reversal).  Standards are provided to detect all counterfeits, deceit, corruption, false teachings, fraud, heresy, and persistent error.  GOD does not send a thief to “teach his people a lesson;” he sends the Holy Spirit.  Believers must exercise discernment in all their encounters as well as when initiating fellowship with others.  The spiritual content and contribution of others are always an issue, for in ignorance and without deliberate malice, many who seem harmless, friendly and pleasant contaminate and destroy spiritual growth in those around them.  Believers are therefore correct to always carefully choose the level of intimacy and trust between oneself and their friends, with ones prospective mate, with a possible employer, and even for family members:  All men have not faith; all have not believed the Gospel.

“Mjolnir”, here are a few points Christian believers rely upon to avoid spiritual confusion and errors concerning nonviolence:

(1.)  The word of GOD must be correctly applied.  Many believers “dabble” in the Scriptures.  However, only those who “specialize” in the word (we say, clergy, the priesthood), are those who should be acknowledged as having the necessary endowment from GOD, experience, insight, and skill to serve as leaders in spiritual warfare, spokespersons (we say, prophets), and teachers sent from GOD.  While born again believers receive a fresh endowment of divinity (e.g., faith, holiness, wisdom, wrath against sin), they must continue to meet the challenges of life upon the earth.  All must develop and apply discernment (using their own spirit content to recognize and respond to divinity in events, messages, other persons, etc.).   Until believers become mature, all believers are vulnerable to manipulation and misdirection.

(2.)  War is a carnal and social process, not an aspect of life directed by divinity.   War among mankind is a product of covetousness, desire, frustration, and lust; and is often triggered through sin.   The outcomes of war typically include denial of GOD appearing as anger, bitterness, fear, guilt, hardness of heart, resentment, and shame.  War generates death and widespread destruction, and does not create peace.  Peace only comes by judgment that may appear as correction or punishment, where judgment is the settlement of conflict and resolution of disputes through the operations of divine law.

(3.)  The “armies of GOD.”  Discernment enables us to see that the armies of Israel created by GOD using those who left Egypt with Moses, was not a military force for conquest and expansion as seen with those nations that pursued empire (e.g., Assyria, Babylon, Greece, Persia, Rome).  Like the plagues of blood, frogs, flies and lice, the armies were instruments to execute divine wrath and judgment.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended. 
(For example, (4.)  Death and resurrection are emblems of divine authority.  Jesus Christ, who will preside as head over of all the tribunals of final judgment, is also Commander of the Armies and Host of Heaven.  Without any “ifs, ands, or buts”, Christ is proclaimed and prophesied to appear, and carryout to the uttermost the expression of divine wrath against all deceit, hypocrisy, lawlessness, malice, sin, unbelief, violence, and wickedness.  Like an abbreviation that is well known and widely used, the titles for GOD as a “man of war” do not alter his name among believers as the source of all divine love.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

“Tamima”, here are some points to consider that will never be “proof” to anyone spiritually blind, or those who seek to meddle in the things of GOD, yet, are vitally important to mature Christian belief:

(1.)  Those who believe that divinity is operating in ways that may be recognized, and are visible for mankind must all learn a new way of speaking and thinking.  It is as if there is a special language among believers that changes the use of certain words, and that absolutely must be used for understanding divine actions, sacred events, and eternal purposes.  For example, “spirit” is no material or physical thing that exists.  GOD is spirit; and Spirit is made up of spirit, and nothing else.  Spirit is not cloud, fog, mist, smoke, or steam.

(2.)  To acknowledge that GOD has appeared among mankind in the flesh (we say, incarnate) is necessary in order to more completely realize the full extent and reach of divine being, glory, power, and sovereignty.  GOD has put forth the form and life essence (we say, spirit) of all created beings and living creatures; and continues to use the form of mankind to make divinity known and visible.

(3.)  The personal and intimate relationship of “son” is used, rather than that of daughter or spouse, to communicate using peculiar ideas common to all mankind, such as courage, duty, gratitude, family, faithfulness, forgiveness, humility, inheritance, obedience, purity, and sacrifice.

There is a lot more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood that may not be presented, here, at this time.  (For example, (4.)  GOD must act to display and make knowledge of divinity possible (we say, reveal himself).  The living must “discover” the aspects of GOD through life experiences that exhibit divine substance existing within such features as attitudes, behaviors, commitments, conditions, objects, and persons.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

To honor GOD and strengthen understanding, the prophet Moses, and speaking to GOD “face to face” are topics, today.  Also, there is more on how GOD inhabits praise.  A writer at “Yahoo! THE BATTLE AXE:  GOD Inhabits Praise (01/27/2014)—As a unique appearance of divinity, praise is spirit substance that resides as an aspect of fullness within created beings and living creatures.  Because praise is also the acknowledgment, and expression of desire, longing, and love for the attributes and manifestations of divine person, we may say:  Who loveth not, praises not.  To praise is to invite and warmly welcome divine presence by adoration, attentiveness, devotedness, dutifulness, and focused action.  While praise may be offered by assemblies and congregations as part of worship, praise is intimate and personal like prayer, or the whispered conversation of a married couple.  Gestures and signals may be used that are only recognizable (and acceptable) to GOD for whom they are intended.  Praise pertains to consciousness, reverence, and survival, yet, may be invisible.  Given praise is a body or vessel of GOD, all created beings and living creatures are to be vessels of praise.  See Psalm 115:  16-18, Isaiah 38:  18-20, Psalm 78:  1-8 and Habakkuk 3:  2-4, KJV.

“Evol ruoY”, here are a few points many Christian believers take into account when considering Moses, and their own opportunities to have place as the children of GOD:

(1.)  Moses was flawed and imperfect in many ways:  he had a speech impediment (stuttering); he was impulsive, and often acted without first seeking the advice of others, or carefully weighing the consequences of his words and actions; and Moses was not always able to control his temper.  From the men of fighting age who formed the army of Israel created out of the multitude that left Egypt, only two actually arrived into the Promised Land (Joshua and Caleb).  Moses was only privileged to “see” the land, and was not permitted to claim a home there, because he “forgot GOD” during an angry outburst against those who had provoked Moses by their complaining.

(2.)  Moses was specially acknowledged by GOD on the basis of his meekness (we might say, he was coach-able, or because of his willingness to learn spiritual things through spiritual events and spiritual processes).  It is written:  Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.  (Numbers 12:  3, KJV)  Like the hard and weighty metal gold, Moses is precious and valuable, because Moses is pliable.  Moses is polished and used to shine light on what is otherwise invisible:  judgment, law, mercy, repentance, piety, sanctification, and zeal.

(3.)  Intimate and personal relationship with GOD as described for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus Christ is more a “heart to heart” bond than a “face to face” interaction.  GOD is a spirit who has emanated and put forth created beings, living creatures, and material objects.  GOD is “discovered” (we say, made known, revealed) through imparted spirit content (we may say, divine DNA) that generates awareness, existence, and person.  With this correctly in view, the closeness between GOD and Moses appears through such aspects as access to divine presence, faithfulness, forbearance, forgiveness, humility, receptiveness, and unselfishness.

There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  Modern-day believers all have access to divinity and are in the presence of GOD through contemplation, giving, praise, prayer, unselfish service, witness, worship, and the presence of Christ as our High Priest.  Through the ministry of Jesus Christ, the eternal authority and sovereign power of  GOD prepare believers to be used as instruments having measurable dimensions and physical form, and thereby, divine person and Spirit are continually made to appear as also carnal and material.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

      Ones duty concerning the romantic relationships of family members are the topic, today, along with more on whether Christians live by a “double standard.” The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “justwondering” (Level 2 with 806 points, a member since July 12, 2010) posted the following:


Should I show interest in the romantic life of family members?

I have two older relative (a mother and aunt) who are terrible at staying in a relationship. So every year it’s like they have a new man. I don’t know how to respond. I REALLY don’t care and don’t want to know details, but I don’t want to seem cold, so I usually ask for details about who they are dating and such. But it always feels so uncomfortable. How do you think they want me to respond. Just mind my own business or act interested in their personal life?

I also have a gay brother. I especially am not interested in the details of his life. But I know that creates a wall between us.


THE BATTLE AXE: Double Standard? (10/12/2012)—The Christian believer is to be “in the world,” and not “of the world.” This means, believers acknowledge common needs, interdependence and shared conditions with those who are not believers. Yet, believers stand out as spiritual persons and not products of the circumstances, environment, influences and pressures that exist around, and outside of themselves. The believer is not self-centered, self-serving or unfeeling toward others. A re-born believer holds to and applies doctrine and teachings provided by GOD through the holy writings. As a result, their behavior and conduct often is characterized as strange and unfriendly to those who do not know Christ. It remains, while in the world, believers serve Jesus who is in heaven by faith, practice, sacraments, service and studies that make the Divine Person known, and present through living deeds. As instruments of sacred purpose and vessels with the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD, Christian believers further cleanse and preserve mankind, and function as the “salt of the earth” (see Matthew 5: 10-16, KJV).

     Be encouraged. Here are some thoughts that have been shared with Christian believers that may help:

      As family members, we have various levels of duty to one another that include expanding and extending the family as a unit through the relationships we may enter as individuals. Included here are adoption, marriage, and participation in fraternity and sorority commitments. Outside of the blood whereby they are bound in relationship, two structures of divine law (adoption and marriage) are the primary permanent and “unbreakable” relationships from GOD intended to provide continuous life companionship. Inheritance is made secure through blood and law. Both marriage and divorce serve as “badges” and emblems of divine authority (the two are one flesh; what GOD has joined together, let no man put asunder…). Where family members are immature, selfish or deny and are unaware of their duties, the Christian believer must be prepared to teach through example, distance, and in silence that will reduce conflict and dysfunction.

      Rightly carried out, the family itself is an endowment and wealth that serves as foundation for a child’s growth and life accomplishment. Children are all accounted as being in poverty because they control no goods, income, real property or savings. With the nourishment, protection and support of ones family shared resources are available to all minor and adult members as well that should include dignity, faith, honor, loyalty, reputation, respect, and unity. Christian believers are made sons and daughters of GOD through operations of the Holy Spirit spoken of as “adoption.” The continuing ministry of Jesus Christ as Risen Lord is the believer’s embrace into the family of GOD.

      Many having reached an age of accountability for emotional, sexual and spiritual choices do not acknowledge the authority of parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, or the authority of older siblings as when younger. Correction of problems in attitude, behavior and conduct cannot be accomplished by simply angry displays, avoidance, commanding change, threatening punishment, or withholding affection. Even so, counsel may be shared as expression of genuine concerns, ones own needs in relationship, and personal truth. A believer may make frequent prayer requests for balance, clarity, and self-control to continue in family relationships without bias, condemnation and prejudice. However, commitment to Christ demands one be prepared to accept that, where family members insist upon opposing their faith, salvation and sacred service to GOD, there also must be a conditional separation from those who do not believe.
    
     There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, unlike the goals for courtship that leads to marriage, the goals for romantic relationships often center upon fantasy and the answering of ones sexual appetite. As with hunger and thirst, sexual appetite cannot be reduced and removed completely through imagination, logic, reason and other operations of the mind. Even in marriage, where ones spirit is joined to a single spirit, a conflict for inner control occurs. By fornication, the joining of ones spirit through sexual activity (as simple as holding hands, or a kiss on the cheek) one puts at risk their capacity to maintain their own identity and independence in all their relationships, including those within the family structure.)
