Today, points are shared on the standard for Christian belief being divine love expressed through law and judgment.  Models for analysis, diagnosis and treatment of behavioral, emotional and psychological disorders among men are inadequate and inappropriate for discussing the methods, motives, and thoughts of GOD being applied in the fullness of Creation.  They also fail to disguise vain accusations against the righteousness of divinity, presumption, pseudo-intellectualism, exaggerated pride, and enmity against GOD.  The fighter at “Yahoo! “Bluebootz”, in order to believe the truth of salvation from GOD as an expression of love, there must be different understandings for both the law and judgment.  Divine judgment pertains to Creation as a formative and reflective process that entails such elements as assigning value expressed as duration; applying criticism, “feedback”, reaction, and response; introducing corrections; and performing experimental, exploratory, and tentative trials.  For mature Christian believers, crime, punishment, and sin are far from being the primary truth of judgment.  The death of Jesus upon the cross was within a framework of covenant law and legal process, not street crime and violence.  The spheres for existence and for life are all generated from the “active presence” of divinity appearing as completeness, diversity that functions like change, divine law, stable order, eternal purpose, and directed will.  Divine law expresses affection, commitment, and selflessness upon a cosmic scale where forbearance, forgiveness, mercy, and restraint also are clearly the framework of divine love.  The work of the law is to continue divinity, give life, further the fullness of divine revelation, and suppress destruction.  Judgment is to make visible the righteousness of GOD as well as to acknowledge those displaying the character, nature, and substance required to exist as eternal companions of divinity.  The imparted, indwelling Spirit that must appear includes inseparable aspects from the makeup of Deity such as balance, faith, holiness, joy, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider how some of this is stated using language from the Bible:

(1.)  1st Corinthians 6:  19-20, King James Version (KJV)  19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?   20 For ye are bought with a price:  therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

(2.)  Romans 5:  6-10, KJV:  6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.  7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die:  yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.  8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

(3.)  1st John 4:  9-11, KJV:  9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

“theresa”, most Christian believers are turned to Jesus Christ for correct knowledge and new life.  In the light of social values widely held today, the choice for knowledge made by Adam (GOD’s name for both the male and female) mistakenly is seen as a choice for enlightenment, freedom, and independence.  However, Adam’s choice also was done in ignorance (i.e., denying and refusing to apply information and truth already received), without correct distance (we say, experience, perspective, the Big Picture), and proper focus.  The pair chose to be in-filled with carnal and secular knowledge, pleasure, and sense experience (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting) that would result in their separation from divinity, rather than be filled with revelation and sacred knowledge that would ensure right relationship, genuine reverence, and acceptable worship of Deity.  In addition to receiving knowledge by discovery and learning, it was GOD’s intent that mankind continue to receive knowledge by regular, intimate exchange and interaction with GOD.  When GOD called, neither answered.  Influenced by the serpent, the pair engaged the operations of sin; and the knowledge they received immediately altered their attitudes, behavior, and comprehension.  The aspects of knowledge were introduced that include deceit, error, exaggeration, forgetting, lies, and presumption.  Corruption, decay and rot were begun that resulted in displays of distrust, fear, pride, and shame.  Consider the following points from the holy writings:

(1.)  Romans 1:  18-22, King James Version (KJV):  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power, and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

(2.)  Deuteronomy 8:  2-3, KJV:  And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.  3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

(3.)  1st Timothy 2:  13-15, KJV:  13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.  15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

(09/23/2015) Name-calling?

Today, Scripture and points are shared on name-calling and offensive words used by Christians when witnessing to others.  Early church believers were first called “Christians” (“little Christ-s”) in Antioch as an expression of mocking and scorn.  The process of spreading the Gospel, then and now, is one of drawing believers by displaying beauty, humility, love, and wisdom generated from the Spirit of GOD, and is not about persuading unbelievers.  Properly understood, when performing the work of the church, Christians are endowed with legitimate authority from GOD to admonish, correct, scold, and use sharpness among those committed to Christ, who already are within the body of believers.  Interpersonal and secular exchanges that are not guided through the Holy Spirit occur on a level of selfish interaction, and may include displays of ungodly attitudes and conduct such as anger, confrontation, mocking, scorn, temper, swearing, and verbal abuse.  Like all feeling persons when they are attacked and provoked, Christians may respond moved by emotion rather than with doctrine, principle, or reason.  Consider the following and the points appearing below:  1st Corinthians 5:  9-13, King James Version (KJV):  9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:  10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.  11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.  12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?  13 But them that are without God judgeth. Both of which many would regard as appropriate terms to describe the types of people who believe in the kinds of things that Christianity teaches such as virgin births, human sacrifice, resurrection, miracles, talking snakes and donkeys, god, the devil etc.

“1, 3 DimethyloOzelah”, what you seem to be speaking of we used to label “name-calling” as children, and being adults we label as “invective” (abusive or violent language used to attack, blame, or denounce somebody—Encarta ® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1998-2005 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.).  As kids we learned on the playground that “being called out of your name” (i.e., addressed or spoken about using some phrase or word other than the name you were given by your parents) could suddenly appear as a challenge, a cut, a deliberate insult, a jab, or “put down.”  We found name-calling could hurt our feelings, make us angry, and overwhelm us with frustration.  Generally, we sought to arm ourselves in the war of words with “comebacks”, and began to develop “style”.  You learned to recognize your opening, pace yourself (wait for it), use good timing, and make strong delivery (thrust home!).  More than this, you learned to reply with a false appearance of disinterest and indifference (it’s water off a duck’s back), nonchalance (cool), and wit common to those two grade levels above yours.  Thus, early battles could be turned in your favor by answering smartly with the secret weapon of rhyme until all became masters of “ Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me!”

When we finally began to reflect upon the words of the rhyme, we also began to realize that what we say to others as well as what we say to ourselves without speaking aloud (discursive thought) does have great power, can do great damage, or can be used to build up, edify and inspire.  What, when, where, and how we speak can determine the duration, substance and value of our finite life experience.  Though we chaffed at home when forbidden to say the word “hate” (not only as an expletive, even in casual conversation), we quickly understood that we were to nourish a peculiar consciousness within ourselves.  We correctly sensed that our self-esteem and equality as persons were being addressed, and we were being further armored against all name-calling, racial slurs, and language to disparage, intimidate, or heap scorn upon us  (e.g., black, colored, darkie, dummy, Hebe, fool, pickaninny, punk, sissy, Spick, whore).

While growing up, older siblings often indulged name-calling as a form of correction for younger children.  Their parents, adult caretakers, and their peer group repeatedly used warnings, threats, name-calling, and appeals to pride in order to “call out your best” as well as to energize, motivate and spur alertness, attention to detail, competitive spirit, diligence, renewed effort, enthusiasm, careful listening, obedience, and thoroughness.  Unfortunately, the seeds also were introduced and sown that could yield a harvest of anger, bitterness, distrust, division, family breakdown, resentment, and separation.

When sharing ones faith and spiritual beliefs, individuals are little different than siblings or nations that pursue their own agendas for productivity.  Where a nation’s goals include building and preserving sound and lasting relationships for mutual benefit, cooperation, peace and shared survival, it is wise to avoid accusations, name-calling and the many inflammatory devices that break-off dialog, communication and exchange by continuing conflict and unpleasantness.  To truly achieve a legitimate purpose, both the speakers and hearers must be committed to making necessary changes that may only come to light as they maintain an ongoing process of sharing, learning, respect and growth.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  Consider the following points from the Bible that are relied upon by many Christian believers:

(1.)  Proverbs 18:  20-21, King James Version (KJV):  20 A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.  21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue:  and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

(2.)  Proverbs 9:  6-10, KJV:  6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.  7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame:  and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.  8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee:  rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.  9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser:  teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.  10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:  and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

(3.)  Proverbs 26:  17, KJV:  17 He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.

(4.)  Proverbs 26:  4-5, KJV:  4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.  5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

(5.)  Matthew 12:  35-37, KJV:  35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:  and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.  36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

“Answering”, to me, your question asks how can GOD be righteous on the basis of specific divine deeds and works—not how can he have authority and divine prerogative.  Here are a few points to consider when viewing sacred operations that fulfill eternal purposes:

(1.)  Awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures often are invisibly dominated and directed by flesh (e.g.,  appetite, sensation, emotional/mental functions) and the secular mind.  Despite that sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the Creation maintained through law, the living may be controlled by the workings of sin.  Sin has not been created by GOD, yet, sin does not immediately appear as contrary to ones inborn nature, and may be accepted as a genuine and necessary aspect of ones true identity.  The “exceeding sinfulness of sin” remains hidden until peculiar revelations and sacred events from GOD are provided.  Included are comfort, confession, divine law, forgiveness, prophetic demonstrations, rebirth, testimony, the preaching of the cross, and witness from mature believers.

(2.)  There now are multiple divine processes for discovering and exposing hidden contradictions, errors, lapses, and mistakes that strip mankind of sacred power.  The use of human actors and interpersonal exchange are major devices, today, rather than the use of angelic visitation, sacred events (we say, marvels, miracles, wonders), and manifestations of the Holy Spirit through fire and wind.

(3.)  A person’s full realization of divinity as active and present requires consciousness that results from exchanges and interactions among aspects of their own spirit makeup.  Born again believers receive an imparted, indwelling spirit from the makeup of Deity that endows them with such content as faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, wisdom, and  wrath against sin.

(4.)  Like others, Christian believers do not “volunteer” for punishment, scourging, and suffering.  However, where there is mature acceptance of eternal relationship to GOD as demonstrated and provided through Christ, there also must be acceptance that it is only by challenge, hardship and tribulation that many unseen aspects of life experience can become clear and transparent.  Believers accept a role as instruments whereby prosperity and strength from GOD will appear despite the recurring conflicts, disappointments, struggles, and troubles that characterize life upon the earth.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, (5.)  Throughout the Scriptures, the treatment of false prophets, who are recognized by their presuming upon divinity, is not the same as that for those in continuing relationship who obey, repent, and sorrow for their sins.  Any appearance of someone claiming to be a spokesperson from GOD requires a response by the community of believers to authenticate the message provided.  Thus, the thoughtful response of believers may appear as fasting, prayer, and rededication as well as searching the holy writings.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.

THE BATTLE AXE:  About Deluding Yourself? (09/22/2014)—(4.)  Commitment, conviction, faith and trust toward GOD are responses to hearing the Gospel, because the word of GOD that a hearer receives is divine substance from the full makeup of divinity.  Seeds for the various inseparable aspects of sacred being are added to the existing spirit makeup of the hearer.  Included are forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, joy, longsuffering, love, meekness, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  While many forms of delusion are generated by exaggeration and unhealthy focus upon oneself (e.g., depression, despair, self-criticism, self-justification, self-promotion), there is no revelation from GOD to created beings and living creations that is produced by human self-awareness and self-will.  The divine process of revelation is intended as a benefit to all the living throughout the universe of GOD, and does not confuse, damage, distort, or pervert the existence of sentient beings.

(5.)  There is a prophecy in the Scriptures where GOD declares that delusion, fear and lies will be a divine tool used in judgment against idolatry, false worship, presumption, and pride (Isaiah 66:  4, KJV).  In addition, there are statements revealing divine intent, the mystery of iniquity, and events just before the coming of Jesus.  Assurances are given to the church, the Antichrist is described, and the wicked are sealed in eternal condemnation through delusion and believing lies (see 2nd Thessalonians 2:  1-15).  In other passages, delusion is described as blindness and madness, yet, is shown to be a tool for divine admonition, correction, destruction, punishment, and warning that serves to further the fulfillment of divine operations.  Consider also Deuteronomy 28:  28-29, Deuteronomy 29:  29, 2nd Kings 6:  18, Ecclesiastes 9:  3, Zechariah 12:  2-6, Luke 6:  1-11, John 9:  1-5 and 39-41, Romans 11:  24-26, Ephesians 4:  14-25 and 2nd Peter 2:  9-19, KJV.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (6.)  Christian believers understand that delusions may appear as fantasies regarding wealth and power.  It is often missed and overlooked that delusions also appear as claims of innocence and purity; avarice and covetousness; desire for grandeur; fantasies of closeness and intimacy within relationships marked by separation; presumption and unrealistic notions of personal power.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

(09/22/2014) About Deluding Yourself?

Today, delusion, divine revelation, and human mental and spiritual health come into view.  Also, there is more on knowing the name of GOD.  The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using “Murderous Puppy” as an ID (Level 1 with 196 points, a member since March 02, 2013) posted the following:


If I have to delude myself into believing God exists before he will reveal himself to me...?

then how do I know his revelation isn't just a delusion?


THE BATTLE AXE:  About Knowing the Name of GOD (09/21/2014)—(4.)  The living do not need to know the hidden and secret names of GOD; and the dead “praise not GOD.”  The living are to grasp divine operations, sacred process, and eternal purpose, for GOD is to be known as active presence.  While many names and titles have been used to speak of GOD during the various stages of development for covenant and salvation upon the earth, the name to be used by those having the closest, most intimate relationship with GOD (we say, the exclusive, personal, singular name of GOD) is exalted, set apart (sanctified), and not for ordinary use.  Certainly, this does not mean that the personal name of GOD does not exist.  How divinity is known and spoken of (we say, the name of GOD) changes in accordance with necessary tasks performed by GOD through different appearances of divinity on behalf of created beings and living creatures.  It is an aspect of the sacred process and substance of existence that mankind calls to GOD, and seeks the highest levels of spiritual knowledge and truth.  Yet, just as Creation has been accomplished without GOD being given criticism, direction, and instruction from the created, redemption, salvation and eternal life are not through the input of those having presence as the quick and the dead.  In place of the personal name of GOD, there are now many devices used to indicate where the divine name would appear within ones prayers, public teaching, or written presentations.  Included are Adonai, G-d, GOD Almighty (El Shaddai), Elohim, Hashem, Jehovah, Lord, and YHWH. 

(5.)  While men repeatedly seek to compare and rank the names of GOD, such efforts are in line with the pursuits of idolatry and vainglory.  To argue that “I AM” is more correct or has greater power than “the Lord of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims,” “Jealous”, “the Lord that formed me from the womb,” “the fear of Isaac,” “the mighty God of Jacob,” “the strength of Isaac,” or “The Holy One of Israel” is foolishness.  Imparting and possessing the same aspects of divine operation, presence, purpose and value, the collection of divine names are to be understood as diverse utterances that establish a single, unchanging, unified word.  See Genesis 4:  25-26, Genesis 31:  42, Judges 17:  5-6, 1st Samuel 3:  1-10, Job 37:  5-24, Exodus 6:  2-4 and Hebrews 1:  1-4, KJV.

“Murderous Puppy”, here are a few points that have lent much emotional, psychological, and spiritual strength to Christian believers:

(1.)  GOD is an eternal spirit whose purposes and values center in the establishment of life, not upon abusing, antagonizing, dominating and oppressing finite created beings and living creatures.  Misery, sin and wretchedness are not by divine creation; they are the result of exchanges and interactions among the living.  Using things that are material and visible, GOD reveals or makes divinity known and understandable.  Included are intense emotional, intellectual and visceral experiences that communicate spirit content (e.g., faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, joy, love, wisdom, wrath against sin).

(2.)  Mankind may operate within multiple spheres of life process for body, mind and spirit.  Data and information bombard ones awareness from external and internal, seen and unseen sources, the flesh and the mind.  Included are appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), and emotion/mental functions (e.g., anger, desire, fantasy, fear, recall).  Only when anchored and “grounded” by the core substances that establish being can the living escape the various delusions generated by covetousness, ignorance, lust, pride, unhealthy relationships, and sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (3.)  Many adults can not read or write.  It is not that they did not learn to recite the ABCs.  They did not learn to carry out the more complex tasks of creating combinations and permutations (i.e., arranging and re-arranging as set patterns) the same letters to make the full range of words.  Similarly, it is not that GOD did not impart a necessary foundation of spirit matter to mankind at Creation; or that GOD is inactive and silent.  Men must develop and practice discernment (use their own spirit content to recognize and respond to spirit matter that resides within events, objects, other persons, divine purposes, etc.).  The extremes of mental illness are more the consequence of carnal, cultural, political and social elements (the focus of ones mind) than the result from things given in the revelation from GOD (the focus of ones spirit).)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
