Points are shared, today, on judgment, mercy, and Christian believers as a new creation. Wrath against sin is an ongoing and permanent aspect of the divine makeup that is held in restraint, so to speak, through such further aspects of the eternal nature as compassion, empathy, forbearance, forgiveness, impartiality, and divine love. The harsh aspects of divine judgment (i.e., punishment, death, separation from GOD, the second death) become conditional and optional, rather than inescapable, inevitable, and unavoidable. “lio”, here are a number of points shared among Christian believers that may help you avoid error and spiritual confusion:
(1.) American culture and law have responded to many of the most important disciplines, guidelines and principles that are aspects of Christian belief. In particular, there is an emphasis upon mercy as an artifact of Judgment (i.e., to obtain divine mercy, there must be divine judgment), rather than Sacrifice to expiate and “pay for the removal” of sins from ones record from the Book of Life that is used in judgment.
(2.) Christian belief acknowledges that, due to the operations of sin (i.e., the transgression of divine law), all created beings and living creatures are equally in need of permanent changes, and transformation of their inner makeup (we say, life essence, spirit). The Creator must provide aspects of divine content that allow believers to endure upon the earth as a new creation, because they are “born again” having divine substance. Even so, such persons also must mature (we say, become ripe for harvest, become perfected) by meeting the same “growing pains” and life challenges that face all mankind.
(3.) Important and inseparable aspects from the makeup of GOD that all Christian believers receive include faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, humility, longsuffering, love, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Born again believers must “grow up” again, acquiring sacred knowledge and continuing practices that set them apart for divine service (e.g., baptism, confession, giving, marriage, prayer). The believer increasingly becomes complete, consistent, and stable to demonstrate all their anointing and gifts in proper exchange, harmony, interaction, and mutual support.
There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually taken into account. (For example, (4.) Believers are to direct their focus to such themes as eternal life; the proclamations, promises and prophecies from GOD; and preparing to receive the Savior at his coming to harvest all believers from the earth. The damage and power from human errors, infirmities, and weaknesses do not magically disappear; yet, they must pale and shrink in the light that beams to us as the goodness, grace, and majesty of our Maker.)
