Today, points are shared on the oneness existing among persons of the GODhead. The language of “obedience” and “judgment” are best used when speaking of divine government and law for created beings and living creatures. When speaking of Sovereign Deity, concepts that address eternal existence and expression such as divine grace, identity, integrity, person, prerogative and self-expression are more correct. How could God be equal in nature, and not be equal in rank, God is God?
THE GOLDEN ARROW: And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? (John 10: 22-32, KJV)

“Ruth”, the question you posed can not be answered simply by showing you a verse or passage (i.e., group of verses) from the Holy Bible. Believers must develop discernment (i.e., the ability to use their own spirit content from GOD as a standard to recognize the spiritual content, meaning and value within such diverse things as doctrines, events, guidelines, laws, messages, other persons, principles, and divine purposes). Consider the following points intended for mature Christian believers:
(1.) GOD is a limitless and unbounded spirit, who has appeared within the spheres of life (heaven and earth) using flesh as Jesus Christ.
(2.) Deity must be consistently and exclusively regarded as distinct and peculiar relative to the carnal, material, and social frameworks (including time and space) that generate meaning and order within the lives of created beings and living creatures.
(3.) The spatial concept (idea) of authority (e.g., above, below, over) emerges with ideas such as the division of labor whereby a collective or group accomplishes complex and difficult tasks, or completes events according to a schedule (timetable). Persons are appointed, and held accountable for completion of aspects of the full work; and thereby become responsible for the failure or success of the entire activity.
(4.) Such spatial concepts of hierarchy, grade, and rank are appropriate to describe the division of authority for the completion of works. Correctly understood, authority is an artifact of work done by groups: No work, no authority; no group, no authority.
(5.) Jesus Christ provided a singular demonstration of eternal government through divine law and sacred authority. In the same way, the ministry of Jesus did not respond to the traditional hierarchies existing among the Jews, and emerged from deposits of divine spirit within the Savior, believers today also must operate with what appears as self-discipline, self-control and divine law internalized (i.e., made to be a part of ones routine of life) that, in fact, are expressions of union (we say, accord, agreement, harmony, oneness not sameness) with divinity (sometimes described as control by the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD).
There is no simple way to say it all. Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
