Today, reply is on violating the commandments from GOD that require there be love. Animals to populate the earth were called forth in pairs; and the human male was provided with a mate fashioned from his own body. Even so, the substance and process of divine love is seen to be spirit in its character, form, and makeup. Lasting relationships appear built on commitment, gratitude, respect, and reverence. Arrogance, deceit, defiance, distrust, fear, rebellion, and stubbornness that break off relationships derive from the flesh, and are not demonstrations and expressions of the righteousness that is love. It is written: 1^st John 4: 6-12, King James Version (KJV): 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. Is it a violation of Jesus's command to not love one another and to not love God with your all?

Was it a command that Jesus gave us, to love God with our all and to love others as we love ourselves?

“Achilles”, mankind was created to serve as a life companion to immortal, incorruptible divinity. A divine rule that existence, life, and relationship are continued through the presence and operations of love can be discerned as appearing “from the beginning” through the accounts of Creation. Life essence (breath, spirit, word) was imparted from the makeup of GOD to both the male and female pair; and the two were to dwell together on the earth as vessels of inseparable spirit substance. Included were faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Those who seek a healthy relationship where both themselves and divinity can display and express love must understand that more than affection, desire, feelings, romance, or sexual behavior are involved. Accountability, duty, and sacred practices must appear along with acknowledgments of divine law, forgiveness, humility, regular attention to life principals, unselfish service, and willingness to endure chastisement and suffering. Rather than a reward for perfect obedience, divine love is a response to contrition, repentance, and sorrowing for sin with a willingness to be transformed and exist as the new creation of Jesus Christ. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a presentation from the music ministry of Ce Ce Winans:

(1.) Luke 7: 36-43, King James Version (KJV): 36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to meat. 37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, 38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. 39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. 40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. 16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? (3.) 2^nd John 1: 5-11, KJV: 5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. 6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

AN AFTERTHOUGHT: In the same way, the Ten Commandments were provided to establish a people and nation under GOD, the commandments provided by Jesus Christ are to establish a church and a kingdom of GOD under a divine High Priest and King. It is written: Matthew 22: 35-40, King James Version (KJV): 35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Please explain this biblical teaching to me?
I went to church today and my pastor was talking about how the Son of God will wash the feet of the faithful if they so asked. Why would a man, who claims to be God's son, chose a life of servitude. If anything we should be washing his feet and shouting to the heavens that we had such an honor as to tend to Jesus' needs.

“?”, many are not careful to discern divine attentions and benefits.  Here are some points on the meaning and value of servitude as demonstrated by divinity that are important among mature Christian believers:

1.  Where servitude is a voluntary and willful offering of ones personhood and full spirit content, there also is continuing communication, exchange, and interaction (we say, access; approachability; relationship) that displays other aspects of the Spirit imparted from GOD.  Included are accountability, faithfulness, humility, longsuffering, patience, respect, trust, truth, and unselfishness.

2.  In addition to commitment, discernment, lovingkindness, and self-restraint, those responding to divine law, sacred proclamations, and the eternal purposes of GOD will display obedience (the putting aside of ones own desires, goals, and objectives to carry out and perform those of another).

3.  Otherwise unseen aspects of the beauty, fruitfulness, goodness, and power in servitude to divinity are made visible through Jesus Christ as the lamb of GOD’s covering for Adam, and the ram caught in the thicket for Abraham.  Included are atonement for sin, endowing and adding value to others, grace (unmerited favor), and propitiation (appeasement; conciliation) as well as sacrifice (loss in giving up something valued).

Discernment, humility, and acknowledging divinity that resides within others by providing sacrificial service are themes, today.  No one desires the role as a menial who must clean up after the unpleasantness and vomit of a drunken master.  Yet, by completing their work efficiently, patiently and without complaint, a servant becomes distinguished and set apart as exceptional, indispensable, and priceless.  In the same way every parent becomes further bound emotionally and psychologically to their child by enduring the discomfort, embarrassment, shame and uncleanness of repeatedly having to be in contact with the child’s feces and urine by changing their diapers, Christian believers are further bound spiritually to one another through various ceremonies, patterns and rituals of the church for cleansing, exchange, fellowship, work and shared worship.  The child’s need is for more than simply adornment to hide its nakedness.  The soiled diaper becomes a sack of acid bound to its flesh; and their cries are to be heard as genuine calls for comfort, deliverance, life, relief, and salvation.  A fighter at “Yahoo! Why would someone want to wash my feet - foot washing?

I took care of my mother when she passed, both the leading up to and the moments until her death. After she passed my brother asked to wash my feet. (hes a 7 days Adventist)
What does this actually mean? What was he reasons and what was he thinking?
Was he washing my sins away? should i be offended because he felt i did something wrong? and if not why shouldn't i be worried?

“Kelly”, foot-washing (called the Ordinance of Humility) is a simple practice among Christian believers having exalted spirit content and focus because it continues the offering of Abraham to divinity in visitation, and is completed through operations of the Holy Spirit like baptism and the Lord’s Supper (some say, Communion).  Foot-washing (1) further reveals and imparts to believers the character and nature within the persons of GODhead; (2) makes visible the elements for eternal relationship with divinity that go beyond obedience to sacred law (e.g., compassion, faith, forbearance, gentleness, humility, longsuffering, love, respect, and righteousness); and (3) establishes the active presence of Christ within the body as well as within the individual awareness and self-will of believers.  Fruitfulness and unity for the body turns upon how we acknowledge and respond to one another as co-laborers under GOD.  Here are a few points from the holy writings that usually help believers understand these ideas:

(2.)  Genesis 18:  1-4, KJV:  1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre:  and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;  2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him:  and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,  3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:  4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
