Lying, sin and spiritual growth are topics, today. The “Yahoo! Answers” fighter using as ID “DiscipleofSatan” (Level 3 with 2,409 points, a member since September 18, 2014) posted the following:
What shall we as Christians do about liars?
In the church I go to there seems to be liars. Some talk about having sex after marriage. Some talk about how successful they are in faith. Some even think its OK to worship in public. Now at least im honest about my position. How can a Christian lie?
THE GOLDEN ARROW: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21: 1-8, KJV)

“DiscipleofSatan”, the name you’ve chosen to be known by suggests that you yourself are not yet born again, and established within the kingdom of new life. Even so, here are a few points that should be considered by all who value correct spiritual knowledge:
(1.) Before a sinner arrives at readiness to receive baptism (i.e., death of ones inborn spirit, burial, and rebirth having fresh spirit content from the makeup of Christ), there are many challenges and obstacles they must first encounter and overcome. By the natural processes of the flesh, reproduction, and social interaction, all are first born having a nature responsive to sin as well as to divinity. For many, sin appears to be a normal and necessary aspect of humanity, and does not fully impress their conscience or intellect as alien, contrary, and foreign to the Creation of GOD.
(2.) By our godly standards, sin opposes the continued existence of divine law, of the Law Giver, and of all divine order established through sacred law. Sin is no living thing, and itself has no carnal or material form that may be measured (e.g., height, length, weight). Yet, sin has direction, effect, and presence. As an artifact or residue of the conditions before Creation, sin operates as corruption, death, decay and rot. Sin functions as though invisible and unseen, yet, may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.
(3.) The Scriptures teach, all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD. Once born again, all must mature again, so to speak; and everyone in the church will not be at the same stage of development until Christ appears in the Advent. Liars are no different than other sinners. The divine standard is high; and the living are made perfect (i.e., balanced, complete, mature, stable) only through deposits, endowments and gifts of spirit content having divinity. Mankind has been provided with tools to recognize and resist sin (e.g., covenant, discernment, family, forgiveness, law, the Holy Ghost), yet, sin may not be eliminated and removed through such human devices as algebra, competition, feelings, intellect, logic, mathematics, and science.
There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) Believers are to realize their task is not to change, critique, and re-create others. Showing humility and respect, they help and support others who choose to change in accordance with the operations of GOD in their life. Believers are not seeking authority and power over others; and are to allow others and themselves to be permanently changed by GOD, who is to have all authority and power. Believers are to share sacred knowledge gained by contemplation, fellowship with those who are committed to Christ, prayer, reflection, and study of the holy writings. Believers are to acknowledge, affirm, and further nourish the spiritual growth they see in others. Saying this another way: Mature believers are sent to minister the Gospel, not to be ministered unto.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
