(10/28/2015) The Choice of Knowledge?

The fall of Adam is in view, today, as having correct knowledge again becomes our focus.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “theresa” (Level 7 with 27,904 points, a member since July 23, 2014) posted the following:

Christians have you ever Considered what the other scenario would have been for Humans If Eve did not choose Knowledge ?

Update: Stuck with your god looking over you of a endless days of sleep Eat. eliminate . sex and reproduce called existing

Have you ever consider the writer was not describing gods creation , but a examination of humans and all their qualities abilities and behaviors and simply made judgements about human nature and invented gods as a rubber stamp authority to regulate societies

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:  24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth:  for in these things I delight saith the LORD.  (Jeremiah 9:  23-24, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  For The Sake of The Created (10/11/2015); Known By Divine Revelation (06/16/2015); Knowing? (05/24/2015); Expulsion from Eden (05/05/2014); Blasphemy Against the GODhead (05/06/2014); Mankind Destroyed? (01/24/2014); What Salvation Is (01/25/2014)

“theresa”, most Christian believers are turned to Jesus Christ for correct knowledge and new life.  In the light of social values widely held today, the choice for knowledge made by Adam (GOD’s name for both the male and female) mistakenly is seen as a choice for enlightenment, freedom, and independence.  However, Adam’s choice also was done in ignorance (i.e., denying and refusing to apply information and truth already received), without correct distance (we say, experience, perspective, the Big Picture), and proper focus.  The pair chose to be in-filled with carnal and secular knowledge, pleasure, and sense experience (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting) that would result in their separation from divinity, rather than be filled with revelation and sacred knowledge that would ensure right relationship, genuine reverence, and acceptable worship of Deity.  In addition to receiving knowledge by discovery and learning, it was GOD’s intent that mankind continue to receive knowledge by regular, intimate exchange and interaction with GOD.  When GOD called, neither answered.  Influenced by the serpent, the pair engaged the operations of sin; and the knowledge they received immediately altered their attitudes, behavior, and comprehension.  The aspects of knowledge were introduced that include deceit, error, exaggeration, forgetting, lies, and presumption.  Corruption, decay and rot were begun that resulted in displays of distrust, fear, pride, and shame.  Consider the following points from the holy writings:

(1.)  Romans 1:  18-22, King James Version (KJV):  18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power, and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

(2.)  Deuteronomy 8:  2-3, KJV:  And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.  3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

(3.)  1st Timothy 2:  13-15, KJV:  13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.  15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  1st Thessalonians 2:  7-12, KJV:  7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:  only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they loved not the truth, that they might be saved.  11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
