(03/23/2016) Transformed by The Cross

Today, points are shared on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and the full process of divinity to transform life, death, and sacred hope.  Suicide is not a divine weapon against sin and ungodliness.  The prophets who proclaimed the wrath of GOD against Israel often also expressed dismay and despair as well.  Even so, none sought martyrdom by self-destruction.  Properly understood, simply dying and completing ones mortality never satisfies the divine demands for acknowledgment, respect, and reverence upon the earth as do obedience, perseverance, righteousness, and trust.  Readers are encouraged to reflect on the following Scriptures, and the presentation below:
Jeremiah 20:  14-18, King James Version (KJV):  14 Cursed be the day wherein I was born:  let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.  15 Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad.  16 And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not:  and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;  17 Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.  18 Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
Ecclesiastes 9:  3-5, KJV:  3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all:  yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.  4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope:  for a living dog is better than a dead lion.  5 For the living know that they shall die:  but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Hebrews 11:  5-6, KJV:  5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him:  for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.  6 But without faith it is impossible to please him:  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 7:  19, KJV:  19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
John 17:  14-17, KJV:  14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  17 Sanctify them through thy truth:  thy word is truth.

God, if you exist please kill me, take me out of this world, please,?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.  For he that is dead is freed from sin.  Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:  Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.  For in that he died, he died unto sin once:  but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.  Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.  Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:  but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  (Romans 6:  3-13, KJV)

“Anonymous”, because you have offered your “prayer” in the public forum without naming the one to whom you call by declaring his deeds and works, you are likely to receive responses from deceivers, demons, devils and false gods, who seek advantage over those in confusion.  Mature Christian believers trust that, despite time and space, through operations of the Holy Spirit, blood and truth from the cross are flowing to here and now.  The death of Jesus Christ upon the cross was not intended to completely eliminate all “growing pains,” frustrations, life problems, sin, sorrow, and suffering.  Even so, the authority, character, and nature of divinity has been revealed in a way that allows the living to permanently experience life and death with new meaning, purpose, and value.  The active presence and sacred intent of divinity was made visible through the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus from the earth.  While death does end sin by removing the sinner, erasing the consequences and effects of sin requires continuing life.  Through baptism (death of ones inborn spirit, rebirth having an endowment of spirit substance from the makeup of divinity) the followers of Jesus become children, heirs, and offspring of GOD.  We are to mature and ripen until Christ appears to harvest from the earth those who are the fruit of his labors.  In addition to transforming covenant, divine law, priesthood, and personal relationship to GOD the Father, the cross has established a new creation having specific sacred expectations (we say, hope) among mankind.  Consider again how this is stated in language from the Bible:
(1.)  2nd Peter 1:  2-4, King James Version (KJV):  2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:  that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
(2.)  Ephesians 6:  11-12, KJV:  11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
(3.)  2nd Corinthians 5:  17-20, KJV:  17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.) Hebrews 7:  24-28, KJV:  24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.  25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.  26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;  27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s:  for this he did once, when he offered up himself.  28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
