(06/23/2015) The Glory of GOD?

Scripture points are shared, today, to clarify mankind’s existence as an expression of divine glory.  All created beings and living creatures are to manifest divine glory as goodness, presence, righteousness, and entire consecration (For ye are bought with a price:  therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God’s (1st Corinthians 6:  20, KJV).  Many agree that features of the natural world (e.g., fields of grain, the herd, the oceans, the mountains, the sky) also convey the glory of GOD.  Because “spirit” does not conform to the dictates and rules that serve as structure for the carnal mind, absolute differences and distinctions between the Creator and the created may not always be known or measurable; may not indicate character, makeup, nature, and quality; and may not be ordered using such terms as grades, hierarchy, preference, rank, and standing.  To say that “man is the glory of GOD” must also acknowledge the revelation to Moses of sacred law and the divine name when the prophet insisted, “shew me thy glory” (Exodus 33:  17-23 and 34:  4-8, KJV).  The writer at “Yahoo! What does it mean in 1 Corinthians 11:7 where it says man is the glory of God? What do you think?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.  But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head:  for that is even all one as if she were shaven.  For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn:  but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.  For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God:  but the woman is the glory of the man.  For the man is not of the woman:  but the woman of the man.  Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.  For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.  Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.  For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.  (1st Corinthians 11:  4-12, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Filling the House With Glory? (08/17/2014); Aspects of Divinity? (06/15/2014); Son of Adam and of GOD? (06/16/2014); A Halo Upon Jesus? (09/25/2013); On Marketing Church, and Speaking by Occasion (09/26/2013)

“David Jabez”, in the same way the male fashioned by GOD expressed aspects of the divine makeup (so we say, Adam was made in the image of GOD), the female was to express and reflect aspects of the male’s makeup.  Often, it is not that GOD has not revealed and shown mankind the various defining aspects of divinity.  It is that, what we have been shown must be strictly arranged and configured in accordance with a specific model to display spirit matter, rather than things carnal, material, and social.  An earthy and fleshy form has been supplied through Incarnation (i.e., the appearance of Deity in the person of Jesus Christ); however, operations of ones own deposit of spirit from the makeup of divinity are required to truly apprehend sacred character, nature, and process.  Included are such features as atonement, correction, damnation, forbearance, forgiveness, rebirth, redemption, salvation, and sanctification.  The many points that speak to divine glory also pertain to exaltation, grace, immortality, divine prerogative, promise, prophecy, and sovereign majesty.  Consider again:

(1.)  1st Timothy 2:  13-15, King James Version (KJV):  13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.  14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.  15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

(2.)  Psalms 19:  1-3, KJV:  19 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.  2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.  3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

(3.)   Isaiah 60:  1-2,  KJV:  1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.  2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people:  but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

(4.)  Isaiah 48:  10-12, KJV:  10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.  11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it:  for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.  12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

(5.)  Isaiah 42:  5-8, KJV:  5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:  6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;  7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.  8 I am the LORD:  that is my name:  and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

(6.)  Isaiah 60:  19-20, KJV:  19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee:  but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.  20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself:  for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually taken into account.  (For example, (7.)  1st Corinthians 15:  40-42, KJV:  40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial:  but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.  41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars:  for one star differeth from another star in glory.  42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
