(01/27/2014) GOD Inhabits Praise

Praise is the topic, today; and there is more on Bible justice.  A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “KL” (Level 6 with 18,333 points, a member since 2007) posted the following six years ago with 3,716 responses:

Christians: The Bible says that God inhabits the praise of His people ...?
Can you explain to me in your own words *how* He does so?

I'm interested in hearing many different viewpoints on this! :)

Psalm 22:3 is the reference.

THE BATTLE AXE:  Bible Justice? (01/26/2014)—Many want to speak about law and punishment as they appear in the holy writings; however, they tend to consider things only in a surface way, and they do not go deep enough and far enough by either their abstract, or their overly emotional understandings.  Such must realize that ancient prohibitions and sanctions once maintained through inheritance and traditions derived from the letter of divine law are now legitimately altered by the ministries of Jesus Christ through new covenant, and through the further operations of GOD by his imparted, indwelling Spirit.  The purpose of sacred law as an incarnation of GOD, as a primary tool for created beings and living creatures to identify and resist sin, and as the expression of divine pleasure or displeasure remains unchanged.    The unavoidable extremes of justice that include banishment, death, disfellowship, exile, impoverishment (confiscation), irreversible destruction, and perdition will always appear as cruel, harsh, and unloving to those lacking the divine perspective that acknowledges responsibility for the entire universe and all that it contains.  Spoken another way:  Only those experiencing the challenges and duties of divine love will completely grasp the immensity of godly judgment and justice.  See Romans 1:  18-32, Ezekiel 18:  20-24 and Ezekiel, Jeremiah 9:  23-25, Philippians 3:  7-14 and Jude 1:  14-23, King James Version.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:  for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.  Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.  Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.  (1st Chronicles 29:  11-13, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  How To Renew The Mind (11/22/2013); GOD Speaking Through Song? (11/01/2013); Why Not One Bible? (11/02/2013); Prayer not Enough? (07/12/2013); A Tree Falls To The South (07/13/2013); Where The Eagles Are Gathered (03/02/2013); Newness of Spirit? (01/04/2013); Two Different Testaments? (01/05/2013); What is Worship? “KL”, here are a few points to consider that have repeatedly shielded Christian believers against spiritual confusion:

(1.)  GOD is a spirit, and the “ingredients” or makeup of GOD are  entirely of inseparable, unchanging spirit substances that interact generating continuous emanation (many say, radiance) and motion.  Thus, where you find one you find them all.  Included are such aspects as awareness, existence, faith, holiness, gratitude, joy, life, longsuffering (we say, endurance), love, person, potency, presence, truthfulness, sorrow, wisdom, wrath against sin, and zeal.

(2.)  GOD appears, becomes “visible,” and is known to be active and present throughout the  universe by using multiple devices and mechanisms.  Among them are created beings and living creatures, covenant relationship, incarnation, judgment, sacred events (we say, miracles), eternal purpose, and utterance (such as blessings, curses, prayer, praise, proclamation, promise, prophecy and sacred song).  The revelation of GOD to Creation also includes the imparting of divine substance to material objects and the living such that they portray aspects of divinity by their character, form, function, nature, and operation.

(3.)  Praise is not always audible or verbal, and may include contemplation, dance, music, offering (material gifts), and sacrifice (i.e., life essence conveyed by blood, service and worship).  Praise only appears by the operation of ones spirit content, and is both an evidence of things unseen, and a response to things invisible.  Containing breath (spirit) from GOD and divine substance, the living offer praise as the display of their deposit of divinity and glory.

There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood.  For example, (4.)  When the spirit of praise controls and directs awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures the effect is communion and fellowship with the unified persons of GODhead.  For Christian believers, praise is as necessary for life as breathing in and out.  Sin that opposes the continued existence of divine law, of Almighty GOD, and of all Creation, also defiles, smothers, and stifles praise.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.  And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.  (1st Chronicles 16:  34-36, KJV)
