(01/30/2014) Salvation is Conditional?

Addiction and alcoholism are used considering salvation, today.  Also, there is more on entering covenant and having genuine relationship with GOD.  A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” with the ID “badwolf” (Level 1 with 104 points, a member since September 21, 2013) posted the following originally asked on Yahoo Answers UK & Ireland:

If jesus did for all our sins, how can god then put conditions on that sacrifice.he either died for all or not?

even for my filthy sin of atheism

TWO ".There are no conditions on God's forgiveness. But one must believe that Jesus Christ.".
really..... you don't see the hypocrisy in that statement

apostle ..sin is sin ...are you saying that god sent his son just for the people he thought deserved saved...that you cant change your ways...and even if you did ..you still get refused because of past sins before you came to christs teaching...is that what you are saying

THE BATTLE AXE:  Covenants and Relationships (01/29/2014)—(5.)  There are many peculiar names and phrases to describe the truth that mankind is to exist as a companion to immortal, incorruptible GOD.  Included are children of GOD, eternal life, oneness, new creatures, and vessels of the Holy Spirit.   What Christian believers receive as the record of divine actions that have occurred in heaven and upon the earth on behalf of mankind (the Bible), documents multiple divine interventions, sacred events, and ongoing processes that are making permanent changes in created beings and living creatures.  Mankind is being transformed by divinity to continue its existence as “everlasting.”  Examples and portrayals are provided that depict such elements as awe, decisiveness, humility, incorruption and reverence as well as right relationship taught through apostles, disciples, spokespersons (we say, prophets), faithful stewards, and trustworthy witnesses.  Almighty GOD always will have authority, dominion, glory and sovereignty above all throughout the spheres of existence.  Mankind is to continue in communion with GOD, yet, will never be in sameness as an equal or peer to GOD.  See 1st Timothy 6:  12-16, 2nd Timothy 2:  19-26 and Revelation 2:  10-11, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?  They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.  Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.  At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.  Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.  Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.  They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.  (Proverbs 23:  29-35, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Mankind Destroyed? (01/24/2014); What Salvation Is (01/25/2014); Bible Justice? (01/26/2014); Life Choices (12/14/2013); That Mortal Children Die? (12/15/2013); So We Could Have Life? (12/09/2013); Can Someone Be Happy? (12/10/2013)

“badwolf”, here are a few points to consider that are shared in the forms of analogy and “parable” that breaks it down for those who are not Christian believers:

(1.)  Salvation that is atonement and propitiation for sins by the shed blood and broken body of Jesus Christ compares to a long-time alcoholic being granted a lifetime supply of milk at no cost.  He (or she) is accountable for their choices to drink milk instead of liquor, and vice versa.  The milk itself does not accomplish a permanent change in attitudes, behavior and conduct so much as does the exercise of faith, godliness, intelligence, and focused self-will.

(2.)  Given that alcoholism and other forms of addiction are self-destructive, interventions by family members and concerned others are only labeled as “oppression” due to immaturity, sickness, and warped understanding.  Atheism and sin are similarly suicidal, for both oppose the operations of divine law, the continued existence of GOD, and all possibility for permanent benefit to the aspects of divine Creation.  The exercise of divine authority in judgment is not a violation of divine love, or of rights and privileges for created beings and living creatures.  Saying this another way:  According to intellect, logic, reason and science, it is stupidity to suggest that “GOD” (meaning the one sovereign, supreme and above all others) can be denied authority and prerogative by those beneath him.

(3.)  Alcoholism (also called “Jellinek’s Disease”) is so difficult to remove because the metabolism and physiology of the patient’s body must be changed, and restored, not simply their diet, their habits, and their knowledge.  Similarly, for salvation, one must be born again from divine DNA, so to speak.  Through baptism provided by the ministries of Jesus Christ, there can be a fresh endowment of divinity.  Included are such inseparable aspects of sacred content as faith, forgiveness, gratitude, holiness, joy, longsuffering (we say, endurance), truthfulness, wisdom, wrath against sin, and zeal.

There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (4.)  For those established in the righteousness of GOD through Jesus Christ, arrogance, haughtiness and foolish pride are also labeled “drunkenness” and “inebriation”.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the Lord.  (Proverbs 21:  30, KJV)
