(12/11/2019) A Call For Truth

Today, reply is on comparing the energy, excitement, and vibrancy of Jesus Christ against that displayed by Satan. Divinity appeared among mankind using flesh and human form to demonstrate correct covenant relationship between the Creator and the created. Although Jesus was the Son of GOD serving as a spokesperson and representative of the Father in heaven, Jesus was meek and lowly while living on the earth, and is called “a man of sorrows” because he also fulfilled the role of heir to Adam, the Son of Man. Where Jesus provided a standard for humanity that embraced sacred law and continual praise of GOD, Satan appears as an Adversary to mankind promoting covetousness, deceit, pride, and rebellion. It is written: Isaiah 11: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion & Spirituality using the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

Why is it known that satan's energy is more vibrant, colorful, and just better than Jeus's energy?
When you look at that Lucky dog's show on Adult Swim you can see the title screen and it says "666." So this is a satan show. Technically. But the colors on that screen and the font and everything it just looks so good and feels like good genuine energy. When you look at the energy of Jesus themed things it's so bland and like dull and thick and hard to take in. It's kind of like poop I can't deny. Why is Jesus reading like this and Satan reading like that. Is this part of the deception? Is the bright colorful genuine energy Jesus's energy and vice versa? Please tell me the truth.

mr. pickles i mean and I meant the commercial not the title screen.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53: 1-6, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: More Required Than Crucifixion? “Anonymous”, developing and mature Christian believers do not encourage one another to compare the energy, process and substance of Jesus Christ, who must appear as a man, against that of Satan, who may appear as an angel. Satan is a created being that like mankind, is subject to the operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of sacred law and divine order. Sin has not been put forth from GOD, yet, may dominate consciousness and self-will (willpower) within the living. Sin promotes nonexistence, the end of all divine order, and a return to the condition of chaos, confusion, and flux that was in place before the founding of heaven and earth (we say, preexistence).

Divinity has appeared on the earth using human form as Jesus Christ to reveal otherwise invisible and unseen aspects of the divine fullness (we also say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit). In addition to sacred law, created beings must respond to divine prerogative, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Jesus must operate to display authentic humanity continuing in covenant relationship with GOD. Only as an embodiment of the life essence (we also say, breath; spirit; word) imparted from the Creator may mankind serve as a living companion to immortal, incorruptible divinity. Christian believers are to resemble, reflect, and reveal the image of GOD and the likeness of Jesus Christ within their lifestyles and daily routines. Inseparable aspects of the divine makeup must appear including balance, completeness, faith, holiness, integrity, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible, and a praise presentation from prophets of the Christian faith who minister using music and dance, the Disciples of Mime, interpreting “Something About the Name of Jesus” from The Rance Allen Group featuring Kirk Franklin:

(1.) John 19: 1-6, King James Version (KJV): 1 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. 2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, 3 And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. 4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. 5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man! 6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

(2.) 2nd Corinthians 5: 1-7, KJV: 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

(3.) 1st John 3: 4-8, KJV: 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

(4.) 2nd Corinthians 11: 13-15, KJV: 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBifYYVW4y8.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(09/02/2018) Believers Must Become "Ripe"

Today, reply is on the divine process whereby new Christians become mature as life companions, his new creation, and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. A writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum using the ID “The new Christian” (Level 1 with 5 points, a member since January 01, 2015) posted the following:

So if a Christian struggles with sin does that mean they aren't saved?

I’m a new born again Christian and I struggle with pride, sloth, gluttony, etc. I got saved in July.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: (2nd Timothy 1: 7-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: What Divine Salvation Requires (05/15/2018); Salvation By Good Works? (03/08/2018); A Prayer Against Backsliding? (02/08/2018); There Must Be Rebirth (01/21/2018); Transformation Not Obedience Alone (07/02/2017); Become Like Jesus Christ? (10/27/2016); Becoming Ripe for Harvest? (07/03/2015); We Are Still Sinning (11/30/2013); Like A Thief? (12/01/2013); Struggling (05/11/2013); Through Much Tribulation (05/12/2013)

“The new Christian”, here is some guidance intended for the followers of the Lord. Those who come to Jesus Christ for redemption and salvation are responding to sacred operations and divine works by GOD that (1) already are complete, comprehensive, and will not be repeated or reproduced (e.g., atonement; divine proclamations and promises; the required provision for remission of sin); (2) that occur as sacred events (we also say, miracles) and should not be thought of as having limited duration, or being fixed within the frameworks of time as known by mankind (i.e., the past; the present; the future); and (3) that are to be acknowledged, adopted, and applied as a believer's own endowment of divine substance from the makeup of divinity (we say, the GODhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit; the Trinity). Those “born again” through water baptism also must “grow up again” and become mature to be taken up as a harvest by the Lord at his appearing (i.e., his Advent; the Rapture; the Second Coming). Inseparable aspects of divine fullness are imparted as gifts and new life. Included are faith, forbearance, holiness, lovingkindness, longsuffering, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Developing believers are being supplied by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit so they may face the many life challenges on the earth that include bereavement, disappoints, “growing pains,” loss, persecution as members of the church, reversals, and even suffering. Looking to Christ for freedom from sin, happiness, and genuine love, many mistakenly think salvation means living “happily ever after.” However, sinners must undergo permanent changes that only begin with heartfelt sorrowing for sin that results in repentance. Keep in mind a sinner even must break old habits, conquer the natural forces of appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual cravings), embrace divine law, and respond to the influence of spirit instead of sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching). The believer is to become built-up and edified by discovery, gradual growth, fellowship with mature believers, learning, study, and unselfish service. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.) Matthew 13: 1-9, King James Version (KJV): 1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side. 2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. 3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

(2.) Matthew 13: 18-23, KJV: 18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

There is far more to be acknowledged and received as part of ones own spiritual fullness. (For example (3.) Romans 6: 3-13, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.) Even so, to the rebuke of the Adversary and the furtherance of the faithful in Jesus Christ, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(07/06/2018) Repentance Among Christian Believers

ACTS 2:  38

Today, reply is on the sacred operations of repentance that are carried out by the imparted, indwelling Holy Spirit.  Repentance is not a discrete behavior or task to be performed as ones duty so much as it is an ongoing lifestyle.  The salvation that is achieved through repentance is more than simply escaping mortality, for the punishment for sin unrepented of is the second death.  Created beings and living creatures are permanently bound and joined to the Creator through their own makeup, their pre-ordained eternal purpose, and their sacred substance provided for existence and life.  Even so, the operations of sin oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Lawgiver, the entire universe established through divine order, and all covenant relationship that joins by faith, love, promise, and trust.  As hidden aspects of the divine active presence are stirred within a sinner, their consciousness and self-will are drawn again to their source within the divine fullness (we say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit).  A sinner must discover and increasingly respond to the elements of godliness and Christlikeness within themselves that enable realization of elements such as contrition, conviction, loss, lovingkindness, and remorse.  One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality forum using the ID “?” (Level 1 (no points are shown); a member since November 09, 2017) posted the following:

What would motivate a killer to want to come to Christ and not a law-abiding atheist?

Why would someone who chooses evil want The Ultimate Good? Doesn't evil hate good anyway? So wouldn't that make them even more hard-hearted?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:  But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.  For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.  So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.  For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.  (James 2:  8-13, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Divine Knowledge And Wisdom (06/24/2018); Changed And Made Christ-like? (06/19/2018); Life And Divine Purpose (05/04/2018); Christianity Is A Relationship (04/05/2018); Repentance A Lifestyle Event (02/09/2018); Choosing to be Reborn (01/29/2018); Relying on Sacred “Evidence” (11/20/2017)

“?”, leaving the emotional and mental posture of damnation for atheists and murderers, sinners are to become developing Christian believers by the operations of the Holy Spirit that establish the continuing ministry of Jesus Christ as High Priest, Redeemer, Risen Lord, and Savior.  The concept of “motivation” pertains to various elements of the flesh, carnal reason, and the exercise of self-will (we say, willpower).  The sacred processes of repentance appear from the deposits and endowments of spirit substance imparted from the makeup of the Creator (we say, his breath; life essence, spirit; word).  Included are acceptance of accountability, commitment, discernment, perseverance, prophecy, sorrow for sin, and surrender to the sovereign will of GOD.  Those who are “born again” in water baptism are to receive inseparable aspects of divinity such as faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

(1.)  Ezekiel 18:  4, King James Version (KJV):  4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:  the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

(2.)  Ezekiel 18:  20-23, KJV:  20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:  the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.  21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.  22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him:  in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.  23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD:  and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

(3.)  2nd Corinthians 7:  9-12, KJV:  9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance:  for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.  10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of:  but the sorrow of the world worketh death.  11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.  12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Romans 8:  5-9, KJV:  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
