(09/06/2019) Judging Another Person's Conversion

A depiction of Christ repelling spiritual corruption and darkness from the life of a young sinner.

Today, reply is on the wisdom of judging the conversion of others among Christian believers; and that judgment, repentance and salvation are operations that may be managed and completed only by GOD. Judgment within the church of Jesus Christ is to be an operation of the Holy Spirit, not the emotions, opinions, and politics of the flesh. To arrive at justice, otherwise invisible elements and subtleties (i.e., barely visible differences; hidden shifts in focus, meaning, and value)—both good and bad—must be uncovered and revealed. It is written: 1st Corinthians 4: 1-5, King James Version (KJV): 1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. 4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. 5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. Christians: If Jeffrey Dahmer truly repented as he says on YouTube "What if Dahmer found God earlier", is he in Heaven? Isn't that unfair?

that atheists yet go to hell, and such an individual gets the chance to "Heaven" just for regretting 17 murders?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty. There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men. (Proverbs 30: 10-14, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Repentance Must Happen Now (06/07/2019); Become As Little Children (12/13/2018); Foolish People and Unwise (10/26/2017); Conversion is by GOD? (08/23/2016); Theoretical Forgiveness? (07/03/2013); The Return in Glory? (07/04/2013); About Conversion (09/03/2012); By Grace (09/04/2012)

“Anonymous”, mature Christian believers usually agree, it is unwise to judge the spiritual fullness and quality of others within the church; more than a change of attitudes, behavior modification, and good manners must appear. There must be an examination of the full spirit content within the other. Our focus as those also in need of salvation should be on displaying the image of Jesus Christ to the world, and on fulfilling ones own accountability, commitment, and preparation. The process and substance of human judgment emerge from and continue aspects of our lives on the earth that are carnal, material, and social. For believers to understand properly the divine process of judgment, of repentance, or of becoming joined to divinity through the resurrection of Jesus Christ first requires our acknowledgment that GOD is a spirit who operates on the earth within the consciousness and self-will (willpower) of created beings and living creatures. Divine fullness (we also say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is present and active through law, sacred principles for exchange and interaction, eternal purpose, and the sovereign will of GOD. Just as divinity is the origin of existence and life, GOD is the origin of forgiveness, mercy, redemption, repentance, and salvation. In addition to grace, impartiality and divine prerogative being elements in the administration of sacred law, the inseparable aspects of spirit substance within the makeup of GOD together determine the outcome of all divine reviews. Included are faith, holiness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Judgment appears as a further revelation of the unseen wherein the righteousness of divinity will appear, rather than emotion, favor, or feelings. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Ezekiel 18: 23-30, King James Version (KJV): 23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? 24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. 25 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? 26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die. 27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. 28 Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 29 Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal? 30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

2. Romans 14: 4, KJV: 4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

3. James 4: 11-12, KJV: 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. Revelation 21: 6-8, KJV: 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/10/2015) Mercy Not Sacrifice?

Today, Scripture points are shared on the teaching “mercy not sacrifice.”  For Christian believers, the ministry through sacred law is more to be understood as divine embrace, reconciliation and revelation than enmity from GOD expressed through abstract and formal operations to condemn, exclude, prohibit and rebuke.  Thus, by the appearance of mercy along with impartiality and thoroughness, final judgment proclaims the eternal balance, fairness, goodness, and righteousness of divinity and of Creation.  Correct knowledge of divine doctrine is acquired primarily through action, obedience and service.  Therefore, it is written: John 7: 14-18, King James Version (KJV): 14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. 15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.  One of the many fighters at “Yahoo! I'm an Atheist but used to be a Catholic and currently talking to the Jehovah's religion?

I left the Catholic church many years ago in my early 20s because of their hypocrisy. I became an Atheist but now being much older I'm looking for some meaning in my life. At first when the Jehovah's came knocking at my door I was really rude and ugly. About a month ago they caught me in a good mood so I accepted their magazines. A few days ago in reading the 2015 August Awake! magazine on page 9 I read the incredible sacrifice of this man Felix Alarcon. I know that Jehovah's have preaching hour quotas that need to be met in order to be considered a good spiritual member. My question is why do the Jehovah's believe this man is a good example when Jesus himself said he preferred 'mercy' and not 'sacrifice' in Matthew 9:13 and Matthew 12:7? Doesn't this send the wrong message that irregardless the members are obligated to do all these things no matter what? I just don't agree at all and am very put off by it.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.  But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.  But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;  How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?  Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?  But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.  But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.  For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.  (Matthew 12:  1-8, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Divine Mercy and Revelation? (08/03/2015); Grace is Not Against Law (07/23/2014); Cruel and Offensive (07/24/2014); To Live As a Sacrifice (03/08/2014); A Perfected Body (03/09/2014); On Being Merciful (09/01/2013); A Divine Trickster? (09/02/2013)

“Anonymous”, the teaching “mercy, not sacrifice” pertains to atonement, the expiation of guilt through the offerings of blood, life, and spirit as well as the operations of GOD on behalf of mankind that are to be seen as redemption and salvation.  Unlike compassion that is associated with human feelings, sentiment, and pity, mercy is associated with balance, impartiality and thoroughness in divine judgment.  With that in view, mercy should never be thought of as applying the law with displays of lenience, negligence, and slackness.  The spirit content and divine nature of attitudes, behavior, service and worship are to be discerned and regarded not just their social and surface appearance.  Here, the holy writings include many authoritative points that have been helpful to Christian believers, for example:

(1.)  Hosea 6:  4-7, King James Version (KJV):  4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.  5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth:  and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.  6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.  7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant:  there have they dealt treacherously against me.

(2.)  Matthew 9:  10-13, KJV:  10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.  11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?  12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.  13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice:  for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

(3.)  Psalms 50:  4-6, KJV:  4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.  5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.  6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness:  for God is judge himself. Selah.

(4.)  Hosea 14:  1-3, KJV:  1 O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.  2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD:  say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously:  so will we render the calves of our lips.  3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses:  neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods:  for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (5.)  Luke 7:  40-50, KJV:  40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.  41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors:  the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.  42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?  43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.  44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet:  but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.  45 Thou gavest me no kiss:  but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.  46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint:  but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.  47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much:  but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.  48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.  49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?  50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and willingness to receive answer from GOD.
