Today, verses are shared from the Bible on what Christians know, and why they celebrate “Resurrection Sunday.” Sinners lacking sacred knowledge and wisdom from GOD are not yet joined to divinity by acts of their own awareness and self-will responding to the birth, death on the cross, and demonstration of divine authority over death provided by Jesus Christ. To have part in the day of blessing and new creation that is being shared among mature believers, sinners first must make choices and decisions that include submitting to water baptism that depicts the death, burial, and being raised from the dead for their inborn spirit. As one reborn (we also say, born again), the believer must “grow up again” and mature meeting life challenges upon the earth. In addition to an uninterrupted consciousness that divinity is alive and present, they must be given a fresh endowment of the spirit substance from the makeup of GOD that resided within Jesus as Son of Adam and Son of the Most High. Included are inseparable aspects of spirit that describe the fullness of divinity such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Those apprehending the resurrection are also heirs with Christ of eternal life, and of the oneness without sameness shared by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The fighter at “Yahoo! “Michael”, here are some thoughts that may help you receive the divine gifts of Resurrection Sunday. Not counting faith, respect and trust, one could say, mature Christian believers never ask certain questions for four reasons: (1) The focus is on sacred knowledge, divine persons, practices and intimate relationships that respond to the active presence and operations of spirit; (2) GOD has answered their question already using proclamations, promises and prophecy recorded as the Bible; (3) the answers from GOD do not change, and convey aspects of his character and nature as a spirit who is immortal, immutable, and incorruptible; and (4) through the imparted, indwelling Spirit, believers are offspring and the sons and daughters of GOD who themselves contain the shared divine consciousness (we say, the mind of Christ). Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:
(1.) 1st Corinthians 1: 18-21, King James Version (KJV): 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
(2.) 1st Corinthians 1: 9-10, KJV: 9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
(3.) 1st Corinthians 2: 12-16, KJV: 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
(4.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (5.) Galatians 2: 20, KJV: 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
