(01/17/2016) Jesus Known As Word

Today, points are shared to clarify that Christ was not in flesh before Creation, yet did exist as the Word.  In the same way the first-born son is to be an agent, the primary heir and representative of his father, who acts upon and fulfills the father’s will, and who continues, maintains and bestows family heritage, Christ as divine word is an active agent of the GODhead who acts upon, makes known, and determines form for expression of the eternal mind and will.  For created beings and living creatures, divine or holy spirit exists as no-thing (non-material, non-sense, having no form or substance) that may be recognized using only finite mind and sensation.  GOD is made known (we say, revealed) by acts of the Holy Spirit, and of the Word who is his “offspring” and Son.  The active presence of Spirit must be discerned and made a focus of consciousness by concentration upon sacred possibilities, actual life events, and operations of Deity that display such elements as commitment, diversity, immortality, incorruption, longsuffering, mercy, perfection, sacrifice, and truth.  Just as the body has been prepared in a way to respond to auditory stimulation and sound (we say, hearing), the inner spirit should resonate with and respond to divinity appearing as consciousness, spirit, and Word.  Consider the following from the holy writings, and the presentation below:

Hebrews 4:  12-13, King James Version (KJV):  12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight:  but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Hebrews 11:  3, KJV:  3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Acts 2:  4-6, KJV:  4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.  5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.  6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

1st Peter 1:  22-25, KJV:  22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:  23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.  24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:  25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.  And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Christians, I need help understanding John 1:1?

Is the word Jesus or is the word God speaking? Why would Jesus be called the word? Thank you.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:  and his name is called The Word of God.  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations:  and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:  and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.  (Revelation 19:  11-16, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  GOD Appearing As Word (01/14/2016); Called, The 2nd Adam? (01/10/2016); The Preeminence of the Word (08/23/2015); The Words Are Spirit? (06/03/2015); Jesus Is GOD’s Word (12/28/2013); Alpha and Omega (12/29/2013); Fear & GOD? (12/30/2013)

“Spirit of All”, Christianity is a comprehensive belief system connecting multiple levels of truth.  The language that identifies Jesus as Son with GOD as Father is no less correct than language calling the Savior a lamb of sacrifice.  For many mature Christian believers to speak of divinity as “word” is in harmony with having consciousness of unseen “spirit” that appears (we say, is made manifest) through a broad range of divine elements.  In addition to (1) sacred substance that describes the makeup of Deity (e.g., faith, holiness, love, wisdom, wrath against sin) there also are (2) inseparable aspects of divine being such as authority, grace, integrity, light, person, presence, righteousness, sovereignty, (3) consecrated process (e.g., forgiveness, Incarnation, rebirth, reconciliation, sanctification), (4) sacred events (e.g., healing, miracles, repentance, resurrection, salvation, signs), and (5) eternal purposes (e.g., companionship, harvest, judgment, immortality, order).

All created beings and living creatures first apprehend their own existence on the basis of things that are carnal (i.e., related to flesh; having to do with their metabolism and physiology, the mechanics and repetitive workings of their organs and tissues), material (we also say, matter; things having form, measurable dimension, and physical presence), sensory (e.g., hearing, seeing, smelling, touching), and social (having to do with contact, exchange and interaction with objects and others who are living).  Those who acknowledge divinity as the source for their own “spark of life” (we also say, breath, life essence, spirit, utterance, word), also accept Deity as having put forth all that exists.  The one we speak of as “GOD” is the only source for both existence (everything that exists is not alive), and for life within any thing that may exist.

There is far more to be said, understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, for the living to acquire necessary sacred knowledge that provides the clearest definition, meaning and value for things pertaining to divinity, they must interact with GOD through the tools that have been provided such as a human advocate/mediator (Jesus Christ), anointing (fresh endowment of spirit content), fellowship (participation in community with mature believers), practice of sacraments (perform acts to continue sacred operations such as baptism, confession, praise, prayer), and the written word (holy writings that document divine commands, counsel, covenant, promise, and prophecy as well as sacred law, and utterance by the Holy Spirit).  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
