(08/15/2019) According To Your Faith

The Evangelist Phillip and the Ethiopian Eunuch receiving the Gospel

Today, reply is on the use of faith as a standard to determine the correctness of spiritual presentations, and developing discernment to consistently grasp spiritual meaning, quality, and value. Sinners who turn to Jesus Christ in repentance are like infants and newborn babes who must come to correctly recognize their own parents and those in affiliation as family. At first there may be displays of indifference and rejection, because everyone is a stranger. All developing believers start out operating in terms other than genuine spiritual knowledge and experience, and must be built up and edified through the Holy Spirit. Redemption and salvation are not one-time events so much as a continuous and ongoing stream of events. This makes it that believers will experience discrete episodes of discovery and growth, yet, will not have complete and full understanding. Believers are able to accept a condition of partial knowledge because there is a condition of full commitment and trust. Grace has been bestowed on those who follow Christ, and serves as an earnest or “good-faith payment” of their coming transformation and eternal rewards. It is written: 1st Corinthians 13: 9-12, King James Version (KJV): 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality, who uses the ID “Rolando C I” (Level 6 with 18,913 points, a member since April 29, 2008), posted the following:

Why does the king james Bible include Acts 8:37 ?

And other translations exclude it ?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. (Hebrews 4: 12-13, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: We Must Acknowledge Christ (08/08/2019); The Requirements for Relationship (06/30/2019); Recognizing Holy and Unholy (01/31/2019); We Have To Believe? (01/06/2019); The Word From GOD (12/11/2018); By Reading The Bible? (11/18/2018); Knowing What To Believe? (12/31/2017); From Cover to Cover? (01/04/2016); Translation, Please… (01/11/2013); Why So Much Murder? (01/12/2013)

Rolando C I”, in context, the verse you refer to presents a clear, yet not full declaration of the faith a Christian should express (Acts 8: 35-38, King James Version (KJV): 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.)

For me, the following presentation conveys the same declaration: Gevurot 8: 35-38, Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB): 35 And having opened his mouth, and beginning from this keta (section) of the Kitvei Hakodesh, Philippos began to preach and fier ois (elucidate) Yehoshua/Yeshua to him. 36 And as they were going along the derech, they came upon some mayim and the eunuch says, “Hinei, mayim! What prevents me from being given Moshiach’s tevilah of teshuva in the mikveh mayim?” 37 [And Philippos said, “If you have emunah b’chol levavcha, it is mutar. And he answered, saying, Ani ma’amin ki Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua Ben HaElohim hu.] 38 And he commanded the chariot to stop and both went down into the mikveh mayim, both Philippos and the eunuch, and Philippos gave him Moshiach’s tevilah of teshuva in the mikveh mayim.

Where sinners begin their return to GOD through Jesus Christ by embracing instruction from the holy writings, many become convinced that they must continue using only the exact wording and precise presentation they were first shown. As developing Christian believers, they want to be alert and on guard against spiritual confusion that accompanies the use of materials and messages from sources that may be in conflict, that are not biblical, and that have questionable origins. Rather than respond to the holy writings relying on finite academic, scholarly, and secular tools such as intellect, logic, philosophy, and science, the Christian believer is to apply sacred standards of faith and other spirit matter imparted from the makeup of divinity. Included are forbearance, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, oneness without sameness, personhood, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Believers are to practice discernment wherein their own fresh deposit of life essence (breath; spirit; word) from divinity enables them to recognize and respond to the same spirit substance (we also say, the image of Jesus Christ) as it appears within events, other persons, themselves, the holy writings, etc. Consider the following from the Bible:

1. Hebrews 5: 12-14, KJV: 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Yehudim in Moshiach 5: 12-14, OJB: 12 For indeed by this time you ought to be [rabbininic] morim saying shiurim, but instead you have need again to be taught the orthodox Jewish basic ikarim (principles, essentials) of the Divrei Hashem, and you have become one having need of cholov and not solid okhel. 13 For everyone partaking of cholov is unacquainted with HaDivrei Tzedek, for he is an olel (infant).  14 But solid okhel is for the mevugarim (mature ones, adults), the ones whose keilim (faculties) have been trained by practice for distinguishing both HaTov and HaRah. [T.N. In the next chp a warning is given to the Messianic Jew who re-submits Yehoshua to re-trial and reassigns the original verdict of deceiver: no re-rebirth, no rerepentance for such shmad]

2. 1st Corinthians 12: 3, KJV: 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Kehillah in Corinth 1, 12 : 3, OJB: 3 Therefore, I make known to you that no one speaking by the Ruach Hakodesh of Hashem says, “Al Yehoshua ki Cherem hu” (“a curse of the ban of destruction is on Yehoshua”), and no one is able to say, “Yehoshua hu HaAdon” except by the Ruach Hakodesh.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. 1st Corinthians 2: 14, KJV: 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Kehillah in Corinth 1, 2: 14, OJB: 14 But a natural person does not receive the things of the Ruach Hakodesh of Hashem, for they are narrishkait (foolishness 1:21-24) to him, and he is not able to have personal saving da’as of them, because they are discerned in the Ruach Hakodesh.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/14/2019) Spirits Of The Dead

Today, reply is on existence, life, and whether spirits of the dead actually exist. Mortality and death pertain to the state of the physical body more than to the influence of spirit on the process and substance of life. The deposit of spirit that operates as life within both Christians and sinners is understood as different from the spirit that appears as religion, or the imparted spirit from the makeup of GOD provided for rebirth and salvation in those becoming born again. While there is much disagreement among Christians regarding the place where ones life spirit is located or resides after leaving a physical body (e.g., limbo, purgatory, the place of torment), many nonetheless agree that ones spirit continues to exist, and will at some point re-occupy its own form (body). It is written: Romans 8: 22-23, King James Version (KJV): 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. A fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Skittles” (Level 3 with 1,672 points, a member since May 12, 2012) posted the following:

Does spirits of the dead really exist?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (for we walk by faith, not by sight.) (2nd Corinthians 5: 1-7, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Present With The Lord (08/05/2019); Death Used in Salvation (06/28/2019); Two Uses For Resurrection (05/01/2019); Challenged To Explain Resurrection (10/08/2018); The Comfort Through Christ? (01/13/2017); Signs From The Dead? (01/15/2017); Life Is GODs Intent (11/15/2016); Discovered Differences? (09/18/2015); Spirit, Spirit Beings, Spirit Persons? (10/13/2015)

Skittles”, here are some thoughts you may find helpful. Mature Christians do not acknowledge apparitions, ghosts, phantoms, and occult creatures. As a matter of their faith and full understanding, many agree that where life essence (we also say, breath; spirit; word) has been imparted from GOD to inhabit flesh and blood, a created being or creature is produced who displays consciousness, existence, and life. GOD must be joined with a material body for there to be “a living soul.” Material things may exist having neither consciousness nor life (e.g., a cardboard box; a corpse; a stone idol). Even so, all material things that exist occupy measurable amounts of space, and may register as a focus or object in the consciousness of the living.

Spirit can not be known completely and correctly, or manipulated using only such finite human tools as intellect, logic, sensation, recall, and thought. Spirit matter exists as unseen active presence; may display direction; and may of itself both concentrate and expand. The operations of Spirit become visible through its effects, and when Spirit embodies or uses multiple forms as vessels. Destroying a vessel that contains spirit matter does not always destroy its spirit content also. Because spirit substance is diffuse, immaterial, invisible, and immeasurable, many deny the existence of Spirit. In their error, they insist “spirit” has no authentic influence and power over the living.

Death is the completion of ones mortality; the loss of life; and the separation event where the spirit that allows the living to display direction, personhood, purpose, and self-will leaves the physical body. To comfort survivors of bereavement, mankind continues to use many diverse explanations and traditions that promote the continued existence of ones spirit, and therefore, possibilities for their life to be renewed and restored. Divine judgment requires resurrection of the dead, for all who appear before divinity must be alive. Consider again the following found among Christians that use language from the Bible:

1. Ecclesiastes 3: 18-22, King James Version (KJV): 18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. 19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? 22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

2. Ecclesiastes 12: 1-7, KJV: 1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; 2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain: 3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened, 4 And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low; 5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: 6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. 7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Revelation 20: 4-6, KJV: 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/13/2019) That Not Of Yourselves

Today, reply is on the dependence of salvation on the sacred element of grace, rather than on eternal condemnation, obedience, and other features associated with sacred law. Sinners are not justified by their own works, rather by the works of GOD. Many Christians speak of grace as unmerited favor, a special show of kindness, and of pardon for offenses. However, there is no “cause” or justification for displays of grace except that they are authentic expressions of the otherwise invisible and unseen personhood within divinity. In addition to gratitude and humility, the correct response to the grace of GOD that developing believers will provide include consistency, faithfulness, obedience, respect, righteousness, and trust. It is written: John 1: 15-17, King James Version (KJV): 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum who uses the ID “Forrest Toney” (Level 7 with 80,871 points, a member since February 12, 2011) posted the following:

How many Christians believe that they will escape Hell even though they don't obey all of Jesus' sayings?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. (Acts 15: 5-11, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: We Must Acknowledge Christ (08/08/2019); Salvation Through Jesus Christ (03/25/2019); The Platform of Spirit (03/21/2019); Displaying Faith Through Works (03/04/2019); The Gift Of GOD (10/15/2018); The Gift(s) From GOD (04/08/2018); Jesus Paid It All (04/04/2018); Yes, Jesus Did Die (04/01/2018); How Are We Justified? (03/05/2018)

Forrest Toney”, in the same way Jesus Christ appears through the accord of divinity and not of himself, sinners are saved by grace (divine accord) rather than human devices. Among mature Christian believers, the operations and purposes of the law are directed to the functioning of Creation and the further putting forth of divine order, rather than to salvation and the recovery of mankind from sin. While sacred law defines, exposes, identifies sin, and makes a peculiar expression of divine love, the law itself does not declare forbearance, forgiveness, mercy, reconciliation, or redemption. Where believers focus on the judicial and legal concepts important to having benefits through the law, many continue in error failing to apprehend also that the invisible, unseen character, personhood, process, and substance of divinity are being openly displayed and revealed.

Sinners are saved by grace, an aspect of the full makeup of GOD. Without a saving relationship to divinity, whether they are conscious of it or not, ones condition by godly standards must be that of condemnation, guiltiness, misery, shame, and wretchedness. By the actions of grace, GOD dismisses both the darkness and negativity of their inner person, and their outward lifestyle, so to speak. Choosing to come to Christ, sinners are encouraged through changes, discoveries, new opportunities, and new possibilities.

Because of GODs grace embodied as Jesus Christ, inseparable aspects of the makeup of GOD are imparted to indwell those welcoming Christ through their own repentance. Included are faith, holiness, joy, respect, righteousness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Every element and feature required for salvation is supplied, so that GODs grace is said to be “all sufficient.” Thus, more than simply that GOD has divine prerogative and the authority to do as he pleases, grace describes the flowing together of many different sacred elements and operations. Included are benevolence, generosity, eternal purpose, impartiality (no bias, bigotry, prejudice), and sovereign will. The elements of desire, determination, preference, and self-will (willpower) within the sinner have no effect or power to cause or determine a persons salvation from the divine judgment against sin. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. 2nd Corinthians 12: 6-10, King James Version (KJV): 6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christs sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

2. Ephesians 2: 4-7, KJV: 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

3. Ephesians 2: 8-10, KJV: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 4. John 1: 10-13, KJV: 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/12/2019) Expect Challenges In Heaven

Today, reply is on whether there will be challenges to face for those who enter into heaven. Living in heaven is only to be for a single millennium (1,000 years); and life upon the earth as the home of mankind then is to resume. The eternal purpose of GOD proclaimed to Adam will yet be in effect: Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth. When the bride of Christ descends (the New Jerusalem) multiple aspects of living will remain the same as they had been in the celestial realm: both heaven and earth will be made new; and mankind will have been made both immortal and perfected. It is written: Isaiah 45: 18, King James Version (KJV): 18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. A writer in the “Yahoo! Answers” Religion and Spirituality public forum using the ID “Manitu” (Level 2 with 764 points, a member since May 08, 2018) posted the following:

Do you think we will have responsibilites and challenges in heaven?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21: 7-8, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: No Wall of Partition (07/05/2019); Preserved As Life Companions (06/23/2019); Spiritual Confusion About Heaven (05/31/2019); Asking Questions in Heaven? (11/15/2018); Rendering Our Reasonable Service (06/15/2018); Mankind’s Priesthood in Heaven (02/16/2018); Heaven Temporal, GOD Eternal (12/12/2017); Will There Be Diversity? (10/22/2017); Material Things in Heaven? (11/10/2016)

Manitu”, there are many prophecies that speak clearly regarding the times ahead for those who belong to GOD. Thus, many mature Christian believers agree that heaven is not to be the permanent home of mankind once all who belong to Jesus Christ have been harvested from the earth. While his believers will rest from their earthly labors, heaven will be neither a place for dreaming and lounging, nor a divine “sweat shop.” Judgment of those who will meet Christ in the air will have been completed prior to their transformation to exist as his immortal companions and co-workers. In the same way, divine law, eternal purpose, and the presence of divine fullness (we say, divinity; the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) will be everlasting, the living will serve rejoicing and sharing the benefits and privileges they receive as reward for their deeds in the earth. There will be immutable, unchanging standards, yet, all will continue to experience accountability, discovery, diversity, gradual growth, and learning.

Praise, thanksgiving, and worship will likely appear as continuous and uninterrupted. Reunions and visiting with loved ones from the earth may be delayed. In addition to preparing and serving as witness to the Great White Throne judgment for the unjust and the wicked, those who belong to Christ will participate in the distribution of their portions within the holy city, the New Jerusalem. The work of cleansing the furniture, precincts, and utensils of the Sanctuary is likely to be continuous while in heaven; and when the holy city descends, there will be no temple upon the earth. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Daniel 7: 21-27, King James Version (KJV): 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. 26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

2. Philippians 3: 20-21, KJV: 20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Revelation 21: 21-27, KJV: 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lambs book of life.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/11/2019) They Forgot His Name

Today, reply is on the name believers are to use when speaking of the true and living GOD, and on forgetting the name of GOD by pursuing false gods and idolatry. Divine names are memorials that mark and continue awareness of sacred events. Also, a sacred “name” proclaims the personhood and reputation divinity presents for communication, exchange, and interaction with created beings and living creatures. Forms of “forgetting GOD” include exaggerated pride, idolatry, presumption, exalting self-will above the divine will, and the worship of false gods. GOD is to be known and spoken of by acknowledging the divine achievements and works. It is written: Exodus 3: 14-15, King James Version (KJV): 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. One of the fighters in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “Anonymous” (no profile information shown) posted the following:

Christians, what does God mean at Jeremiah 23:27 that they forgot his name through Baal worship?

Jeremiah 23:27: “Through their dreams that they tell one another, they plan to cause my people to forget my name as their fathers forgot my name through Baal worship.

THE GOLDEN ARROW: Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God. (Deuteronomy 8: 11-20, King James Version, KJV)

Anonymous”, where false prophets and teachers appear who have not been anointed and sent from GOD, they often present dreams, interpretations, lies, and speculation about possible supernatural events. In so doing they encourage covenant believers to “forget” the sacred works whereby divinity is to be acknowledged, known, and continually respected. Prophets and teachers of error make false claims that the reputation and works that should be credited to GOD are from false gods, idols, or other men. Thus, they require the offerings, praises, sacrifices, thanksgiving, and worship that should be shown to GOD be given to another. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Proverbs 20: 11, King James Version (KJV): 11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

2. Isaiah 48: 10-12, KJV: 10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. 11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. 12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Isaiah 42: 5-8, KJV: 5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/09/2019) Having the Divine Perspective

Today, reply is on Christian believers having the divine perspective (i.e., being able to see the same sacred changes and divine process within themselves that divinity will see through the operations of judgment and Spirit). Every Christian believer comes to discern and recognize where they themselves are located within the sacred point of view and divine perspective. A confession that the divine nature is present within ones own life is not the result of brooding, introspection, self-examination, and efforts for self-improvement. Despite affliction, hardship, sickness and suffering, many Christians will affirm that the truth is certain and indisputable: divinity nonetheless is operating within their lives today. Proclaiming the authority and authenticity of the Scriptures, they declare: God said it; I believe it; that settles it. Awareness of invisible, unseen divinity being active and present within ones life requires a fresh endowment of imparted spirit substance from the makeup of GOD along with the development and maturity of ones spiritual consciousness: “You must be born again;” and those “born again” must “grow up again.” Balance, consistency, impartiality, and stability increasingly must operate within the many aspects of a believer such as their expectations, their lifestyle, purposes, and daily routines. It is written: Romans 8: 15-17, King James Version (KJV): 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. How does one know that they are growing spiritually?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3: 7-14, King James Version, KJV:

(10/27/2014); To See With New Eyes (11/06/2012); A Life Companion? (11/07/2012)

“✞ 2 ...hunter”, because Christian believers are in an ongoing divine process of transformation where their consciousness and self-will are being permanently changed so they will eternally exist as companions to divinity, their present “knowing” and “self-awareness” also undergoes shifts and transitions. Rather than rely on behavioral, carnal, material and social “evidence”, developing believers eventually depend on such elements as certainty of divine righteousness; conformity to divine word appearing in such forms as holy writings, divine law, proclamation, promise, prophecy and revelation; and conviction that immutable, unchanging principles are continuing as standards that describe the life condition of those following Christ through operations of divinity that can not be influenced or interrupted by finite actors and human events. Consider again the following that uses familiar language from the Bible:

1. Philippians 2: 5-11, King James Version (KJV): 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

2. Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Romans 8: 28-30, KJV: 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

(08/08/2019) We Must Acknowledge Christ

Today, a declaration of personally-held faith is shared in reply on the importance of belief in Jesus Christ for ones salvation. While many insist that salvation occurs only on the basis of works completed by divinity, human expression repeatedly presents believing as an act of human will, and a work completed by those in the flesh. So to speak, believers are not saved by their own works; they are privileged to benefit and experience the works of GOD that allow mankind to display the divine nature. The fighter in the “Yahoo! Answers” public forum on Religion and Spirituality who uses the ID “I trust the count” (Level 7 with 278,586 points, a member since March 02, 2006) posted the following:

Is just believing in Jesus Christ alone for my Salvation enough to get me to Heaven?

I do believe that Jesus Christ has died on the cross for my sins I deserve to be punished for so I can have Eternal Life

Is that enough to get me to Heaven?

THE GOLDEN ARROW: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2: 8-10, King James Version, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Believing That GOD Is (06/24/2019); Displaying Faith Through Works (03/04/2019); We Have To Believe? (01/06/2019); Become Like Jesus Christ? (10/27/2016); Belief, Content And Works? (02/12/2016); Not Through Human Will? (01/29/2016); By More Than Believing (12/04/2015)

I trust the count”, your question requires responses that clarify and explain another persons faith, rather than man-made things, and is not really a simple matter because we must experience faith (a substance from the full makeup of GOD) as a sacred process of continual change, development, and growth. Those who become “born again” must also “grow up” again, for they must undergo a total transformation to exist as mature/ripe life companions (offspring) of divinity. Sharing faith in a way that is complete and correct requires multiple explanations; and the words we use often fuel and permit spiritual confusion. Even so, there is much we can share that you may find helpful.

It is not enough just to have facts about Jesus Christ, academic instruction, and secular knowledge regarding events from the ministry of Jesus on the earth. The content and process of ones consciousness, personhood, sense of eternal purpose, and self-will (willpower) must be permanently altered by the presence and operations of divinity. The living must acknowledge the gifts and works provided from GOD for salvation by receiving and responding to multiple sacred influences. In addition to using material and physical creation to appear to the living, divine fullness (we also say, the Godhead; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) imparts and uses inseparable aspects of unseen life essence (breath; spirit; word) to communicate, exchange, and interact with Creation. Included are faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

Sinners who properly turn to GOD seek a new relationship through new commitment, discipline, and discernment. Through divinity incarnate as Jesus Christ, “life” is not simply through the forms of conception and birth; it is also by rebirth and resurrection. With the goal of becoming Christlike, and correctly displaying the image of GOD through their own lifestyle and daily routines, developing believers continue discovery, gradual growth, learning, obedience, respect, restraint, reverence, unselfish service, and suffering. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

1. Hebrews 11: 5-7, King James Version (KJV): 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

2. John 11: 21-27, KJV: 21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. 23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. 24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

There is far more that should be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, 3. Romans 6: 3-11, KJV: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
