Blasphemy, divine curses, judgment against sin, and racism are in view, today. Christians preparing for the soon coming of Christ to harvest his believers from the earth are convinced that the Savior has already ended every curse, and broken every yoke except his own. However, in The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, those who were disobedient and rebellious from a Jewish family that was commanded to leave Jerusalem, and went to a land of promise (today, known as America), are described as coming under a judgment of GOD whereby their skin was made black. The Book of Mormon has been respected by many as having the same legitimacy and status as the holy writings and scriptures found within the Bible. Even so, specific passages (below) from The Book of Mormon have been used in support of racism along with the account of a curse pronounced by Noah upon his grandson, Canaan, that was intended to afflict his own son Ham, who had mocked his father while Noah was intoxicated (see Genesis 9: 20-27, KJV). Together these writings have been promoted by frauds, nominal Christians, and those not having the Spirit of Christ as inarguable evidence that GOD himself commanded there should be the enslavement of Africans, ethnic arrogance, hatred, inequality, miscegenation, and the strict racial separation that has repeatedly threatened to warp American culture, and invalidate America’s Constitution. As with all truth taken out of context and its proper frame, many teachings identified as generated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (called Mormons) are mistakenly condemned as having been intentionally destructive to African Americans, those seeking to serve in the priesthood of their assemblies as well as to the believers and their families that make up the many congregations. A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Mark” (Level 1 with 205 points, a member since October 24, 2014) posted the following:

Addiction and alcoholism are used considering salvation, today. Also, there is more on entering covenant and having genuine relationship with GOD. A writer at “Yahoo! He (or she) is accountable for their choices to drink milk instead of liquor, and vice versa. The milk itself does not accomplish a permanent change in attitudes, behavior and conduct so much as does the exercise of faith, godliness, intelligence, and focused self-will.
(2.) Given that alcoholism and other forms of addiction are self-destructive, interventions by family members and concerned others are only labeled as “oppression” due to immaturity, sickness, and warped understanding. Atheism and sin are similarly suicidal, for both oppose the operations of divine law, the continued existence of GOD, and all possibility for permanent benefit to the aspects of divine Creation. The exercise of divine authority in judgment is not a violation of divine love, or of rights and privileges for created beings and living creatures. Saying this another way: According to intellect, logic, reason and science, it is stupidity to suggest that “GOD” (meaning the one sovereign, supreme and above all others) can be denied authority and prerogative by those beneath him.
(3.) Alcoholism (also called “Jellinek’s Disease”) is so difficult to remove because the metabolism and physiology of the patient’s body must be changed, and restored, not simply their diet, their habits, and their knowledge. Similarly, for salvation, one must be born again from divine DNA, so to speak. Through baptism provided by the ministries of Jesus Christ, there can be a fresh endowment of divinity. Included are such inseparable aspects of sacred content as faith, forgiveness, gratitude, holiness, joy, longsuffering (we say, endurance), truthfulness, wisdom, wrath against sin, and zeal.

The operations of GOD at the cross, resurrection, and sacrifice are topics, today, along with more on alcohol, doubt, Holy Communion, and wine. A writer at “Yahoo!7 Answers (Australia)” using the ID “James” (Level 1 with 16 points, a member since 20 July 2013) posted the following that was originally asked at “Yahoo! Answers Canada”:

However, for the benefit of mankind, the operations of divinity are made to appear as simple things used to focus and trigger faith. Included are baptism, confession, covenant meals, penitence, prayer, thanksgiving, and the regular giving of tithes. As with participation in the Lord’s Supper, where otherwise common objects of bread and wine become the blood and body of Jesus, believers accept that the same Holy Spirit, who established the earth and the heaven, operates from within themselves as an imparted, indwelling presence from GOD. The Christian believer acknowledges GOD in the person of Jesus Christ, in the recorded word (the Bible), and in the imparted Spirit to be their teacher, teachers sent from GOD. Neither the simple objects employed, nor the simple lessons provided can be obstacles to genuine spiritual growth and understanding where one has fully received spirit content from Jesus. Included must be the inseparable aspects of divine person such as gratitude, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. (2.) Through the sovereign power of GOD, the death Jesus completed upon the cross was yours. GOD appeared in the person of Jesus (we say, incarnate) to demonstrate and reveal peculiar truths regarding divinity that we otherwise could never know and understand. Included are facts regarding the nature of sin and salvation. Sin opposes the continuing existence of GOD, of divine law, and of all that has being.
(3.) The sacred ministry that Jesus was performing upon the earth had to be completed in the heaven. Jesus is a divine High Priest. More than this, the blood (flesh) poured out upon the earth from his side portrayed the divine life essence (spirit) that would be used to purify the Temple in heaven, and prepare all things for final judgment.
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood; however, my points are not intended to overwhelm you. (For example, (4.) We say, the blood is the life, because it conveys spirit essence to all the organs and tissues of the body. Blood itself is not the spirit essence; it is a vehicle and vessel for spirit. The blood of Jesus is said to cover and wash away our sin as it appears in the record of our deeds, the heavenly Book of Life. Through the continuing ministry of Jesus Christ, believers today also receive a fresh endowment of spirit content (i.e., are born again having divine DNA, so to speak.)
