Today, points are shared on knowing, revelation and trust as operations completed by divinity among Christian believers. The challenge to us in 2015 is not to discover or create a completely new system of sacred belief; it is that we affirm and embrace the things provided already as a gift from GOD. While those born again learn to “know” by faith (not by sight), they also acquire divine consciousness by contemplation and reflection as well as through such experience as bereavement, giving, fellowship, obedience to law, parenting, service, study, and suffering. A writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Jack” (Level 3 with 1,878 points, a member since September 21, 2011) posted the following:
How do you know when your prayer has been answered?
I just prayed to god to help me get rid of this horrible feeling of anxiety and it has completely gone within minutes, i've been feeling anxious all week. Is this how God answers prayers? In which ways has he answered your prayers? I have only recently discovered religion so please excuse me if this question seems a bit stupid
THE GOLDEN ARROW: Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. (Philippians 3: 8-16, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Divinity Has Person? (05/19/2015); It Is Our Wisdom To Ask (05/18/2015); Power Against Sin? (04/12/2015); Understanding Spiritual Growth? (03/13/2015)
“Jack”, for Christians knowing is a divine process carried out and completed by the Spirit of GOD appearing within relationship. In this sense, knowing is the sacred work of revelation whereby divinity becomes visible as active and present. Knowing is established as an aspect of being alive in Christ and having a divine nature that continually participates in expressing such features as holy boldness, certainty, confidence, discernment, humility, prayer, rebirth, repentance, respect, resurrection, reverence, and sanctification. Here are a few points I can share as prophecy (i.e., the word from GOD through Jesus Christ provided as comfort, edification, exhortation):
(1.) For Christian believers, awareness and self-will are to be dominated by (we say, controlled, filled, and focused exclusively upon) sacred knowledge such as found in the holy writings, and generated from their own portion shared by Christ of his imparted, indwelling Spirit.
(2.) Operations of the Spirit from GOD occur as events, exchanges, and interactions among the eternal, inseparable (where you find one, you find all) aspects of divine content that are the makeup of Deity. Thus, such features appear as faith, forbearance, forgiveness, holiness, joy, love, longsuffering, mercy, obedience to divine law, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin.
(3.) Because they respond to the many changes in the environment (cold, darkness, heat, light), to animal and carnal aspects of what we are, and sin (that is neither alive, material, nor created by GOD), many human characteristics are not to be exalted and relied upon any longer. Examples are appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, cravings for sex), feelings (e.g., anger, fear, loneliness), and intellect (e.g., imagination, logic, philosophy, science).
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually understood. (For example, (4.) All believers undergo a process of gradual, yet, permanent change. To describe the full transformation we must experience we say, one must be born again. The inherited, inborn spirit must be replaced with divine DNA, so to speak. Once reborn, believers must endure the same challenges and “growing pains” as all others upon the earth in order to become perfected (we say, ripe for harvest). When Christ will come to remove all believers from the earth, we will be made immortal and incorruptible to continue as divine companions having eternal life.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
