(05/06/2015) The GOD Part of Jesus?

Today, points are shared on the humanity of Jesus, the Gospel, and the GODhead.  Every attempt to describe boundless divinity using ideas of finite process and possibility will fail.  The incarnation and appearance of GOD in the person of Jesus Christ absolutely must be understood as a singular sacred event orchestrated and accomplished through the application of eternal and infinite power.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Whilst Jesus was learning to do carpentry, was the God part of him supervising the billions of other galaxies...?

... and billions of stars within each galaxy? Not to mention listening to everyone's prayers, and judging their actions?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:  Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein:  for the time is at hand.  John to the seven churches which are in Asia:  Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.  Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him:  and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.  (Revelation 1:  1-8, KJV)

“Daz”, for answers regarding the life of Jesus, Christian believers rely upon revelations from divinity recorded as holy writings (we say, the Bible), and provided through the imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD (we say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Spirit of Truth).  Your question pertains to the childhood of Jesus and his development during the years before his public ministry.  Here are a few points that may be shared to avoid spiritual confusion, error, and presuming upon Deity:

(1.)  As an incarnate being appearing upon the earth, Jesus displayed the same form and image first impressed upon Adam.  The Savior followed the fixed course for human accountability, growth, learning, maturity, and the completion of mortality (we say, death).  The Lord  experienced the same threefold possibility that all humans have for expression of ones character and nature as animal, human, or divine.

(2.)  The “God part of Jesus” must be understood within the fullness of divinity spoken of as “the GODhead.”  The Father, the Son (we also say, the Word), and the Holy Spirit are distinct and unique, yet, share peculiar aspects of existence, and are united in expression of divine operations, sacred processes, and eternal purpose.  Saying this another way:  Divinity is to be known and recognized as an active presence  who uses multiple expressions of “personness” that appear to created beings and living creatures by specific patterns of events and functions that accomplish definite goals and intentions upon a cosmic scale (we say, the will of GOD).  Thus, the GODhead displays oneness without sameness.

(3.)  Through the operations of sin, awareness and self-will within the living are directed against such features as continued dependence upon Deity as well as the further existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the regulation of  divine order for the universe.  Sentient individuals—made to reflect and show an image of GOD who is a spirit—are capable of continuing in personal relationships with divinity, because they may contain matter from the makeup of Deity.  Included are faith, forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, love, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.

There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example, (4.)  Ideas that are correct when thinking of human enterprise often are not acceptable when considering divinity.  Where authority, division of labor, hierarchy, and rank are used to describe the ministry of GOD to mankind through Christ, many barely visible and hidden shifts occur that result in multiple errors.  The focus for our knowledge of GOD working in the person of Christ is summarized as “the Gospel;” and is more than a biography of Jesus, or secular history.  Believers are granted a divine view of their own being that also embraces adoption and rebirth as children of GOD, eternal life, divine love, redemption, salvation, and victory over death and sin.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.
