The idea that divinity only existed for the creation of mankind is considered, today. The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “SupaStar” (Level 3 with 1,627 points, a member since August 07, 2014) attacked with the following:
Assume this universe was created by a christian-type god, because that god was "necessary" for the creation. How does one...?
...now make the determination that this christian-type god did not cease to exist AFTER the creation that "was required the necessary christian-type god?"
This universe was "created", thus, fulfilling the necessary role, but, now that it has been created, that "necessary" thing is no longer necessary.
THE GOLDEN ARROW: For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. (Romans 8: 15-23, KJV)

“SupaStar”, here are a few points to consider shared among those who acknowledge the power of divine forgiveness to cleanse, correct, heal and refresh the living:
(1.) You are also assuming duration for the existence of the Creator has been generated by and completed through a single act, and a single purpose. You suggest that, a deity with the enormous capabilities, knowledge, wisdom and power to fashion every minute detail for indefinite continuance of material, emotional, mental and spiritual process is unable to maintain, preserve, or propagate divinity.
(2.) The divine nature may only be correctly known by finite created beings and living creatures through operations of deity in a continuing relationship that will further demonstrate and reveal the active presence and person of GOD who is a spirit. Creation of the earth within a universe having multiple layers of content must be understood as only a “surface” and single sacred event (some say, miracle).
(3.) For a complete and full description of divinity to have a meaningful place within the consciousness of the living, the created also must contain within themselves aspects of the divine makeup that may be recognized without them becoming arrogant, self-centered and self-exalting. Included are such inseparable features as faith, holiness, humility, longsuffering, love, meekness, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Given that all things created are experienced by the living as lasting only for a measurable period of time and are limited in their temporal duration, the primary anchors and fixed referents that serve as guidelines and frameworks for stable order and meaning must be eternal and permanent. Thus, Creation endures as continued growth, rebirth, and transformation both for things seen and things unseen.
There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) While the Creation proclaims the identity of GOD in terms recognizable to the living through material objects that may be examined using ones senses (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting), there also must be an awareness of divinity through higher operations of ones spirit content. Thus, Judgment (resolution of conflict and the settlement of disputes through divine law) proclaims the impartiality, mercy and righteousness of GOD; Resurrection proclaims sovereignty over death as well as life; and Salvation demonstrates the divine commitment to communion, exchange and eternal life.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith and spiritual maturity.
