(03/15/2014) Giving Forgiveness?

Focus is upon whether giving forgiveness is “hard”.  Also, there is more on miracles as a tool of GOD, and of Christian believers.  The “Yahoo! Answers” using ID “Cash” (Level 3 with 1,948 points, a member since January 24, 2012) posted the following:

Do you think that giving forgiveness is hard?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Miracles Are From GOD (03/14/2014)—(5.)  The invisible presence of GOD is made known with absolute certainty to created beings and living creatures only by operations of the Spirit of GOD (we say, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth), that also is invisible where awareness and self-will are dominated by sin.  Sacred events (we say, acts of GOD) appear, and become known by divine manipulation of otherwise automatic and mechanical life processes established by GOD such as metabolism in flesh, the movement of wind currents and temperatures that drive weather, and the fixed cycles of season, sunrise and sunset.  All authentic prophets have served as spokespersons from GOD; however, not all are spoken of as miracle workers.  While those sent and sanctified by GOD may deliver their sacred message through physical movement and visible tableaus (we say, prophetic demonstrations such as those shared by Jeremiah), GOD is the agent who causes and performs any healing or natural event that appears as a miracle.  When John the Baptist left the Temple community to preach the coming of Messiah (a notable event in itself), there were many displays, yet, he did no miracles.  By contrast, Jesus did many miracles, however, was not accepted because of the correctly held belief that only GOD can do miracles.  See John 10:  41, John 9:  15-17, John 12:  37 and Acts 2:  1-47, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.  Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.  And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.  (Acts 5:  30-32, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  Wrong Not to Forgive? (03/05/2014); Done in Faith? (03/06/2014); Forgiveness Through GOD? (02/02/2014); Obliged to Disregard? (02/03/2014); Father Forgive (09/06/2012); Beer in My Milk? (09/07/2012); About Conversion (09/03/2012); By Grace (09/04/2012)

“Cash”, here are some points usually shared with new Christian believers that you may find helpful:

(1.)  It is impossible to know and please GOD, or operate in correct obedience to divine will without having and applying aspects of the divine nature.  We may not forgive, we may not love, we may not pray with the clarity and power that GOD intends for us.  Jesus Christ is given us to “make up the difference,” so to speak.  We do not change unless we are born again having divine DNA.

(2.)  Through baptism (death of ones old spirit, rebirth with a new spirit from GOD), mankind may receive a fresh deposit of spirit matter from the makeup of Almighty GOD.  Included are faith, gratitude, holiness, humility, longsuffering, love, wisdom, and wrath against sin.  These inseparable aspects generate divine authority and power that enables created beings and living creatures to forgive, to praise and worship, to resist sin, and to overcome opposition in spiritual war.  Born again, we must grow up again by meeting the same life challenges, and “growing pains” given all others upon the earth.

(3.)  Like commitment, promise, and all other things that depend upon the flesh, human forgiveness is temporal—it comes and goes, and only endures for a brief time.  There are many overlays of emotion, imagination, logic and reason that permit confusion, human error, lapses, and evil (i.e., arbitrary change; sudden and widespread upheaval; unfounded, unplanned change).  Divine, eternal and unchanging forgiveness is the need that must be met; and apart from GOD, can not be acknowledged, proclaimed, and satisfied.

There is a lot more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example (4.)  GOD is a spirit who has put forth all that exists, yet, is no material entity, object, substance or thing.  To understand the many demonstrations and displays by GOD that reveal and show his presence, our awareness and self-will must be altered by continuous contact with sacred truth.  Thus, our fellowship with other believers, our private meditations and prayers as well as  our study of the Bible enhance our ability to grasp the immense reality that sinners can be forgiven by GOD.  Believers can neither add to that, nor diminish its glory; however, we are chosen to respect that within all our relationships.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (2nd Peter 1:  5-8, KJV)
