(12/11/2015) Different From ISIS/Daesh?

Today, reply is made to a charge that, through law and judgment, divinity operates as do terrorist groups.  Caliphate, covenant relationship, sin, and the worship of idols are topics along with reverence toward the Maker as the necessary condition wherein all created beings and living creatures are to exist.  Divine law has not been established to inhibit cleansing, correction, forgiveness, and repentance.  The operations of sin promote the elimination of divine law, Deity, and all that is, has been or ever will be put forth from GOD.  In the scheme of GOD the crime of a thief is not merely one of taking away from another some temporal object that will eventually break, or perhaps be lost anyhow.  The offense is against all law, divine order, and the universe that is laid out with myriad unseen streams in flux.  It is deceit and idolatry to promote any thing from finite imagination and mind as having authority, power, and divine substance that are to be obeyed, reverenced and worshiped as a god.  Included are buildings, family, freedom, land, military forces, money, sexual pleasure, and weapons.  Yet through sin, awareness, intellect and self-will in the living are led to manufacture abominations, abstractions, and false gods for deliverance, godliness, prosperity, and salvation.  By spiritual confusion human error is maintained as though generated from and approved by the Eternal One.  Readers are to realize, there have been caliphates before, and they failed to manifest the presence of GOD; for both mechanism and process must be of GOD.  Conflict, fear, pain, and violence can not be made to appear as the fruit of supreme righteousness.  Consider the following verses from the Bible, and the presentation below:  John 10:  9-11, King James Version (KJV):  9 I am the door:  by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.  10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:  I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  11 I am the good shepherd:  the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.  Also, John 18:  36-38, KJV:  36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world:  if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews:  but now is my kingdom not from hence.  37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.  38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.  Psalms 115:  2-8, KJV:  2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?  3 But our God is in the heavens:  he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.  4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.  5 They have mouths, but they speak not:  eyes have they, but they see not:  6 They have ears, but they hear not:  noses have they, but they smell not:  7 They have hands, but they handle not:  feet have they, but they walk not:  neither speak they through their throat.  8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.  The fighter at “Yahoo! In the bible, God prescribes the death penalty for worshiping other gods, adultery, and homosexuality. How is that different from ISIS/Daesh?

Deuteronomy 13 says to kill those who even think of worshiping other gods (no freedom of religion)
Leviticus 20:13 says to kill gays.
Leviticus 20:20 says to kill adulterers.

Why do ISIS and God agree so much?
Update: Is there some logical reason that God once held the same opinions as terrorists?

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.  Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned:   but what sayest thou?  This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.  So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.  And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.  And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last:  and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.  When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?  She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee:  go, and sin no more.  (John 8:  4-11, KJV)

THE DOUBLE DAGGER:  The Last Prophet? (09/27/2015); The Need For Divine Rule? (08/27/2015); A Christian Dictatorship? (03/05/2015); Divine Love Seen As Hate? (01/29/2015); Adam, Pharaoh and All Mankind? (01/28/2015); Agents of Allah? (01/26/2015); Mob Rule and Violence (09/27/2012); Suppose I Am Wrong? (09/28/2012)

“King Apologist”, it is very difficult for most of us to correctly speak of ISIS, or the diverse followers of Islamic belief where we are properly grounded as disciples of Jesus Christ.  The  spiritual maturity that comes by having sacred knowledge and an imparted, indwelling Spirit from GOD is required to properly speak of divine intent.  Answering honestly, many would have to confess ignorance of what anyone else believes who does not demonstrate faith similar to their own, and made visible by sacred practices and works.  From my perspective as one willing to say, I am submitted to GOD (musleem) as was Abraham, ISIS advocates idolatry by focus upon a human solution (a government ruled by men; they say, caliphate) that is to be exalted above eternal purpose, divine law, and imparted Spirit.  For sake of the caliphate the living are to embrace death; forswear family, friends, homeland; deny the duty for those who are strong to protect children, civilians in wartime, the disabled, and those who are weak; and refuse all other contracts and covenants, even that of jihad-al-Akbar.

Those who left Egypt with Moses, were challenged to willingly enter agreement with a divinity whose character and nature are made known and revealed through creation, deliverance, judgment, prophecy, and covenant relationship.   Terms of the agreement included obedience to all commandments and proclamations of divine law as well as acceptance of operations by divinity to establish permanent changes within mankind upon the earth.  Israel was to become a peculiar people, and a nation formed in the image of GOD.  The new nation would be healed, purified, and set apart for continuing service and worship (we say, sanctified) through every aspect of exchange and interaction for its people.

A mixed multitude representing many nations joined those from the twelve tribes of Jacob requesting that GOD impose even the harshest punishments and death for transgression of divine law (we say, sin), rather than have GOD deny to them the special place of those who are partners in covenant with divinity.  As the instruments of Deity, the covenant people are in a process of continuous growth and transformation.  Thus, while Deity is eternal, immutable and unchanging, terms of the covenant may be altered, yet, not removed.  Responses made to created beings and living creatures appear as “new” through diversity, discovery, and the unfolding of perfection.

There is far more that must be said to fully shift a person’s understanding regarding that that is holy (i.e. having the active presence, and eternal purposes of divinity).  For example:  The sinful practices acquired by seeking to participate in the one-world empire of the Egyptians (i.e., assimilation) had to be reversed over time.  Almost immediately, while Moses was away in communion with GOD to receive the law written by the finger of GOD upon tables of stone, his brother Aaron, who was to serve as High Priest, led the people in worshiping the golden calf of Egypt.  The change we speak of only comes without upheaval and widespread destruction through grace, mercy, and divine prerogative.  Thousands of years later, 10 tribes would reject rule by the house of David.  Jeroboam, who was exiled to Egypt, would establish the Northern Kingdom (Israel); and to prevent the people being influenced by the requirement for all sacrifices to be made only at the Temple at Jerusalem, and returning to the Unified Kingdom—Jeroboam established worship of the golden calf.  Restoration for the house of David, and the continuing fulfillment of all covenant are to be seen as completely accomplished only where GOD will appear in flesh as Christ, Messiah, and Divinity Incarnate.  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith and willingness to be made spiritually mature.

(06/29/2013) Come As You Are?

Acceptance, change, and repentance are topics, today.  Also, there is more on the sacred mechanisms for comforting believers who are in mourning.  The “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “nick” (Level 4 with 4,489 points, a member since December 26, 2008) posted the following:

After I come to Jesus though as I am, do I still have to repent?

Or should I repent first and then come? Or can I stay as I am after I come?

THE BATTLE AXE:  Our Present Comfort? (06/28/2013)—Just as believers repeatedly experience appetite such as hunger, thirst and cravings for sexual activity as human, natural and normal life process, believers will repeatedly experience feelings and thoughts about those in their lives who become deceased.  Included may be family, loved ones, or even strangers identified in an evening news broadcast.  The various operations of GOD to permanently suppress the power of death over human awareness center in the appearance of GOD in flesh as Jesus Christ (we say, incarnation); the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus from the dead; the ascension of Jesus into heaven; and the falling of the Holy Spirit upon prepared believers.   While death continues as a feature of finite being for all who are in flesh, through Christ mankind is now released from the widespread depression, fear, ignorance, and worship of death that formerly corrupted relationship with the Creator.  Such solutions for bereavement as hope, joy, law, love, promise, and sacred visions are supplied of GOD.  These convey life-energy, are forward-looking, and are rooted in practical truth.  They endow a mourner with an inheritance of continuing purpose and stability without the burdens of apathy, coldness, hardness of heart, indifference, morbidity, and lack of affect.  See Philippians 1:  21-30, 2nd Peter 1:  2-4 and 2nd Corinthians 5:  1-21, KJV.

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?  Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.  I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright:  no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.  Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.  How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.  The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken:  lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?  (Jeremiah 8:  4-9, King James Version)

DOUBLE DAGGER:  How Do I Repent? (05/16/2013); The “Jesus Way”? (05/17/2013); Unless You Repent (03/05/2013); The Childhood of Jesus? (03/06/2013); Unexceptional Beginnings (11/22/2012); Believing Everything? (11/23/2012); Turn From Sin? (02/15/2011); About Promises (02/16/2011)

“nick”, here are some points Christian believers must be aware of that are important for avoiding spiritual confusion:

(1)  For many, “come as you are” means GOD extends unqualified acceptance and approval to all (they may even say, “unconditional love”).  More correctly, “come as you are” means a person’s errors, faults, limits and weaknesses that repeatedly frustrate and overwhelm family, friends and others are no obstacle to GOD.  “Come as you are” does not mean “stay as you are.”

(2)  Like forgiveness, repentance is not a “one-time” sacred event.  As operations carried out by eternal GOD, forgiveness and repentance are conditions for being and existence, and should be continuously present before GOD through imparted spirit matter such as faith, holiness, longsuffering, love, and wrath against sin.

(3)  In water (and spirit) baptism, a believer makes a public choice to internalize and submit to divine operations that will change their inner nature.  (We say a believer is “born again” from divine DNA.)  In addition to changes in attitude, behavior, conduct, desire, knowledge and life style GOD gradually establishes such permanent changes in the new believer as ability to discern and recognize the quality and value of spirits, correct consciousness of divine intent and eternal purpose as well as the believer’s self-awareness and authority through truth.

There is no simple explanation, or abbreviated way to clarify the many profound truths of being in a genuine relationship with GOD that goes beyond “me, myself and I” by focusing upon such high themes as judgment, prophecy, resurrection and sanctification.  There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended.  (For example,  (4)  Repentance begins as a confession of need for the permanent change that only GOD may bring about.  Ones need is for more than different or new experiences that are carnal, material and social.  There must be an acknowledgment of divine power and sovereignty as the source for being and growth that we call “life” along with conviction of ones own absolute personal dependence upon GOD.)   Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
