Today, some thoughts are shared on prostitution and the Great Whore who appears as a symbol and type within the Bible.  Sin may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures.  The revelation of divine righteousness and wrath against sin is demonstrated in judgment by GOD, who demands exclusive devotion, and whose name, therefore, is Jealous.  Devotion to carnal pleasure, false gods, and man-made idols are to be understood as corruptions and perversions of human creativity and “the World” that should emerge from the endowment of divine love and indwelling spirit imparted to mankind at Creation.  Unlike Christian believers who strive to be known as faithful, persevering, steadfast and trustworthy, whores must be exposed by the provisions of GOD because they are actors and hypocrites who do not love, and they lack faith imparted from divinity, yet, may convincingly feign affection, commitment, and zeal.  A fighter at “Yahoo! “Adam”, may I share some thoughts, here?  Mature Christian believers depend upon the holy writings to explain the various figures, symbols, and types that appear, especially where they have been provided to put forth admonition, prophecy, and revelation.  The Great Whore is described directly only within the Book of Revelation, and is a representation of commerce, enterprise, and trade; and may be regarded as corruption of both “the Flesh” and “the World.”  The carnal, material and social mechanisms and processes that may dominate human life are called “the flesh.”  Included are appetite (e.g., hunger, thirst, sexual craving), sensation (e.g., hearing, seeing, tasting, touching), emotion/mental functions  (e.g., anger, fear, imagination, recall).  In the same way the earth is the creation of divinity to maintain life for mankind, “the World” has been the creation of mankind for communication, exchange, life experience, and its own  survival.  Through the operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of divine law, the Law Giver, and the Creation established on a platform of sacred law, “the World” has become corrupt, defiled, and spiritually unclean.  Thus, the Great Whore can be seen as a mix of idols and images mistakenly exalted and worshiped among men that include the City, Mammon, the lingam, the mother, the yoni, and even marriage that is the counterfeit of holy matrimony.  Throughout the holy writings, prostitution and whoredom are used to identify sin that is otherwise hidden and disguised to be favor from “god”.  Those who offer themselves to false gods and idols do so by “hiring” and “paying for intimacy” with abominations.  The concepts of blessing (we also say, gifts) and grace from GOD are despised.  Those who “lust after” the Great Whore do so seeking to selfishly profit from, and make merchandise of the things from GOD (e.g., atonement, forgiveness, instruction, redemption, salvation).  They display to their chosen idol(s) the offerings and sacrifices properly due only to the true and living GOD.  Sacred law exposes sin as destructive, empty, ugly, and vain (i.e., without divine content).  In the same way, many have erred supposing they may consult a prostitute for instruction about sexual matters, and do not understand they are submitting themselves to fornication and life patterns that generate further emotional, psychological and spiritual confusion, the disciples of Christ have been warned that many will covet the inheritance of the church, become deceived and submit to “worship” of the Great Whore.

Today, Scripture and points are shared on Adam (the first pair), divine law, and populating the earth through sexual reproduction.  Family with GOD as its head is not the same as family managed by flesh.  Eternal purposes that were to be accomplished through mankind having place as a life companion to Deity may only be manifest as destruction and suffering when taken up by those separated from the divine heart of love.  Adultery and intercourse between adult siblings has been labeled as perverted and unnatural; yet, curiosity, expressing sexual appetite, sex play, and the natural development of ones sexuality always begins in the home.  While divinity should be acknowledged for having created the earth, the stars, and the universe, it is correct to regard “the world” as having been created by mankind.  Many mechanisms and operations first provided by GOD have been altered, changed and re-fitted to be aspects of the world system.  Included are family, language, marriage, money, science, and weapons.  Following epidemic disease, famine or warfare, methods such as abduction (we now say, rape), captivity (we now say, slavery), incest, polyandry and polygamy have been used to maintain and restore balance, order, and stability.  The living have developed multiple devices for their own carnal, material, and social survival, and for that of their offspring.  Even so, family, the household of faith, continuing interaction with divinity, and godly relationships (e.g., ambassadors, apostles, friends, life companions, prophets, stewards) are yet present upon the earth through divine operations that include atonement, rebirth, repentance, and sanctification.  Consider again the following from the Bible, and the discussion appearing below:  Ephesians 2:  19-22, King James Version (KJV):  19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;  20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;  21 In whom all the building fitly framed together growth unto an holy temple in the Lord:  22 In whom also ye are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why would God allow incest in the old testament?

This is really confusing me because I am a christian and when I read that God allowed incest in the old testament its really making me sick to my stomach. Its making me think differently about God. I am really upset about this... I dont think I am angry but I feel that I cant move past this. God is good and has performed magical miracles for me but I find myself being cibfused and I dont know how to let this go. How did you feel when you found this out and how did you get through it? What do I do because I dont want to be an unbeliever. I have faith in God and nothing will take make me stop believing but when I read that it just really got me discouraged.

“Jerrika”, what you may be speaking of as incest has appeared upon the earth through innocence, and ignorance of divine law as well as through defiance, iniquity, rebellion and sin.  GOD is a spirit who has emanated all that now exists, and is reproduced within the living by imparting divine substance to their content and makeup.  The process of divinity for mankind to populate the earth (as for animals, birds and insects) was to be reproduction introduced through sexual joining of gender pairs.  At first, the moral, psychological, and social meaning of family, that we now know, did not appear.  Incest as the violation of eternal law began and remains in the same way as lying, murder and stealing:  operations of sin that oppose the continued existence of sacred law, of the Law Giver, and of all the divine order upheld by law.  Because created beings and living creatures can not discern and recognize sin as contrary to their own and the divine nature, sacred gifts and mechanisms have been provided by GOD (e.g., baptism, covenant, Incarnation, judgment, law, marriage, monarchy, rebirth, sacrifice, the Holy Spirit) for correction, and increased resistance to sin.  To avoid further error and spiritual confusion, carefully consider the following points from the holy writings that proclaim divine intent and purpose:

(1.)  Isaiah 45:  18, King James Version (KJV):  18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited:  I am the LORD; and there is none else.

(2.)  Leviticus 18:  5-6, KJV:  5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments:  which if a man do, he shall live in them.  I am the LORD.  6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness:  I am the LORD.

(3.)  Leviticus 19:  29, KJV:  19 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

(4.)  Titus 1:  9, KJV:  9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

      Faith, the purity of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and condemnation are topics, today. Also, there is more on the “way out” to escape eternal life. A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using ID “James” (Level 1 with 98 points, December 13, 2012) posted the following:


Was the “virgin mary” really just the town whore?

This would explain why she claimed “god” got her pregnant (which is 100% not possible unless god is human) since she didn’t know who really got her pregnant.

THE BATTLE AXE: What’s The Way Out? (04/20/2013)—(5.) The immutable, unstoppable act of GOD to eliminate corruption and mortality that was begun in ages past, absolutely must be completed and fulfilled on the earth and in the heaven. Many shrink away from eternal life with Jesus Christ because it is their faith that believers also will have to continually endure the fulfillment of prophecy, and witness the suffering of others in punishment. Theirs is another gospel, different from that of the Savior, who proclaims the end of all agony, divine displeasure, testing, and sin. See Revelation 15, KJV. (6.) It’s been said, You can’t lie your way into the Kingdom of GOD, you can only lie your way out. The blessings of eternal life may be refused both through practice of spiritual behavior and conduct that is unfaithful as well as through offenses that are unlawful. Those who deliberately and willfully break the divine law commit iniquity. Others operate as lawless by their attitudes and informal practices (e.g., faithlessness, unbelief). In addition to defiance, disobedience and offenses against divine law, such features as deceit, cowardice, ingratitude, infidelity, lying, obstinacy, pride, stinginess, stubbornness, lack of zeal, and witchcraft identify those having no endowment of divine substance through Jesus Christ, and reveals those having made a choice to reject covenant relationship, eternal life, and divine righteousness. Such human traits and weaknesses are accounted as being no different than sin, the transgression of divine law. See 1st John 1: 3-10, 1st John 5: 17 and Revelation 21: 7-9, KJV. (7.) Both those that refuse the mark of GOD, and those that willingly accept the mark of the beast will lose their portion in the eternal life of GOD. All will be sealed for identification, and for judgment; thereafter, ones spirit content and status in sacred relationship cannot be altered, or changed. Nothing may be added or introduced; nothing may be removed and taken away. See Luke 8: 11-12, Revelation 14: 9-12 and Revelation 22: 11-12, King James Version.

      James, in a certain sense it does not matter who Mary was, what you believe about her, and your faith in GOD is uppermost. What you have asked, and how you have asked it, allows us to see who you truly are. Please consider the following points:

(1.) Like many of the girls you may have dated, Mary was young, unsure of herself, and seeking to make herself unattractive to the kind of man who would seek to exploit her as a sexual victim. As a mere teen, she continued in the poverty of a child (no employment, no income, no savings), and she was regarded with contempt as a female who had not born her first child. 
 
(2.) Where men promote themselves as pimps, players, and whoremongers, they generally express a great deal of anger and bitterness against all women, their own mothers and grandmothers included. In communities where the positive acceptance and social status of a female is only through the achievements of their male partners (e.g., as homemakers, mothers to their children, wives), many women seek emotional and financial independence through prostitution. Lying is a natural tool in their response to male aggression.

(3.) The birth of Mary is spoken of as an immaculate conception (not the birth of Jesus), through the operation of the Holy Spirit. Her childhood and upbringing are recorded in the holy writings as having prepared her for the service she was to do for GOD, and mankind. Her title as “Virgin” is also through the operation of GOD, for she was the mother of Jesus and his siblings.

      There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) One is not condemned to hell simply because they do not have “all knowledge.” Created beings and living creatures are condemned only by exalting their ignorance of the true teachings from GOD; ignoring admonition, correction, and warning; persisting in blasphemy and disrespect, as well as by growing in the hardness of heart that stands as unbelief.)
