Today, topics include awe, continuous relationship with GOD, and wisdom. Knowledge and wisdom are spoken of as two different tools throughout the Scriptures, and at no time is wisdom promoted as a god/goddess, an idol, or a divine person who is to be worshiped. Sacred knowledge speaks to the content of awareness and the objects focused on by self-will. Wisdom speaks to sacred practice and process; ordering and applying sacred knowledge; operating with balance, consistency, maturity, and stability as well as bearing fruit (i.e., producing necessary spiritual change). The fighter at “Yahoo! Answers” who uses the ID “Breakthrough” (Level 6 with 15,739 points, a member since June 29, 2013) posted the following:

How do you define biblical wisdom (without consulting the dictionaries)
To me wisdom is another word for virtue
Esteem, prize and value virtue in God, in yourself or in others - and you will be exalted
Embrace - means love and cherish and accept and be at peace with wisdom - and you will receive honour

“Breakthrough”, may I share some points, here? The holy writings offer two important, yet, different ways of speaking and thinking about wisdom. With one, wisdom is described as a divine companion and person who participated in Creation. Therefore, Wisdom speaks as a divine counselor and mentor. Even so, the revelation throughout Scripture centers on being in correct relationship with the GODhead through the person of Jesus Christ. The other is that wisdom is described as the correct application and response to sacred knowledge. Given that data and information are managed through intellect, logic and carnal reason, academic and secular knowledge should be understood as having their origins in the flesh (i.e., appetite such as hunger, thirst, sexual cravings; sensation such as hearing, seeing, tasting, touching; or emotion/mental activity such as anger, fear, imagination, recall). The true value of knowledge is to be seen in what it may produce (we say, its fruit). Many mature Christian believers understand wisdom to be an inseparable aspect of the divine makeup (where you find one you find them all) along with such spirit content as faith, forgiveness, holiness, longsuffering, lovingkindness, righteousness, sovereign will, and wrath against sin. Awe is the correct acknowledgment that divinity is exalted, preeminent, restrained only by other aspects of divine being, and to be reverenced (we also say, feared) at all times. Divine law received as “the express will of GOD” is a form of basic sacred knowledge that should promote the display of awe as obedience. Making the correct response of showing awe is the starting point for fruitful communication, exchange, and interaction with GOD that are to continue as ongoing relationship and eternal life. Consider again some of the following from the Bible:
(1.) Proverbs 9: 9-11, King James Version (KJV): 9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. 11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
(2.) Proverbs 8: 22-30, KJV: 22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. 24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: 26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: 30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
(3.) Proverbs 8: 32-36, KJV: 32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. 33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. 34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. 36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
There is far more to be said, correctly applied, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (4.) James 1: 5-8, KJV: 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
