(06/12/2016) As Agents of Divinity

Points are shared, today, on the freedom and latitude for  forgiveness and ministry granted those who serve the Lord.  Believers are to be incarnations and vessels of the divine will.  Godly purposes of eternal life, reconciliation and salvation come into view, however, only by sacred operations of the Holy Spirit.  For the Christian believer, the kingdom of GOD is not the land of “do as you please” or “do whatcha like.”  Certainly those who are consecrated and ordained to serve in priesthood following years of sacred practice, preparation, and study, must adhere to strict standards that amount to “law”.   Minors, teens, young adults, and new and developing believers within the church—who often are not lacking in zeal—nonetheless are routinely unaware, and lack the spirit endowments to serve in the same way as experienced clergy and elders.  The fighter at “Yahoo! Why did Jesus tell his disciples, "Whose sins you withhold will not be forgiven"? Why would they refuse to forgive sin?
John 20: 21-23 NIV: Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

THE GOLDEN ARROW:  6 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious:  sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.  (Galatians 5:  16-26, NIV)

“Bruce”, in the same way believers may not correct, heal or satisfy every financial need of others, believers may not effectively forgive anything and everything committed as offenses and sins against GOD.  More than this, believers can not provide the atonement that must appear with forgiveness.  The authority, duty, power and privilege granted to the disciples and followers of Jesus Christ are disciplined, orderly, structured, systematic, and well-defined.  Only as a believer appears through the operations of divinity, may he or she accomplish sacred works.  Those serving as ambassadors, apostles, lay persons, representatives, prophets and spokespersons are not independent actors, or agents who create their own script for sacred exchange and ministry.  Every believer begins with errors, gaps in their information, and various points of spiritual weakness and confusion.  All who are “born again” through water baptism (i.e., death and burial of ones inborn spirit, rebirth from divine DNA, so to speak) must “grow up again” while meeting life challenges upon the earth.  Believers are to become “ripe” (we say, mature, perfected) for harvest at the appearing of the Lord (we say, Advent, the Rapture, the Second Coming).  They must acquire sacred, rather than secular knowledge through communion and fellowship with others within the body of believers, and continually practice the things of new life in Christ.  As they become mature, believers are increasingly filled and immersed with the Holy Spirit who gives utterance as the imparted presence of Jesus.  Therein the actions, thoughts, and words of the believer are not his own; they are the word from GOD.  Consider again how these ideas are stated using language from the Holy Bible New International Version® NIV Copyright ©1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.®:
(1.)   Jeremiah 5:  7-9, NIV:
7 “Why should I forgive you?
    Your children have forsaken me
and sworn by gods that are not gods.
I supplied all their needs,
    yet they committed adultery
and thronged to the houses of prostitutes.
8 They are well-fed, lusty stallions,
each neighing for another man’s wife.
9 Should I not punish them for this?”
    declares the Lord.
“Should I not avenge myself
on such a nation as this?
(2.)   Luke 10:  16-20, NIV:
16 “Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”  17 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”  18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
There is far more that should be said, carefully examined, and spiritually understood.  (For example, (3.)  Hebrews 13:  16-18, NIV:
16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.)  Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful.  Be it unto you according to your faith.
