Whether there is a common heritage for the descendants of Abraham and Ishmael is in view, today. Also, there is more on whether the word of GOD can be altered. The fighter at “Yahoo! If Abraham was Jewish, then wasn't Ishmael Jewish too? That means all descendents of Ishmael are Jewish, doesn't it?
Why hate Jew then? Why do you guys always try to fight Jews when you are Jewish?
You should stop hitting yourselves.
THE BATTLE AXE: Can the Word of GOD Be Altered? (07/12/2014)—(5.) Many believers understand the word from GOD is more than a small part or feature of the Almighty Father, and is not be thought of as a hidden member, or removable appendage such as a hand or foot, that are not necessary for ones full appearance in flesh (e.g., in facies and photo headshots). The word is an indispensable aspect of divinity, for the word contains and conveys such divine attributes as authority, consistency, discernment, duration, sacred knowledge, integrity, life essence, love, order, permanence, power, and righteousness. See Psalms 119: 88-90, Isaiah 40: 7-9, Isaiah 59: 21, John 6: 67-69 and 1st Peter 1: 22-25, KJV.
THE GOLDEN ARROW: But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9: 11-15, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Suffering Circumcision? (06/08/2014); Three Covenants? (06/09/2014); Let Us Make Mankind? (06/10/2014); Blessing and Inheritance from Abraham? (06/05/2014); On Christians Executing Judgment (06/06/2014); Those Who Never Heard? (06/07/2013); If You Are Sent…? (06/08/2013); Before Abraham Was… (03/14/2013); On Titles and Respect (03/15/2013)
“Christian sinner”, here are some strong points from Christian belief that are regularly used to expose the ignorance encouraged by Satan, and to rebuke those who trifle with the things of GOD intended for all mankind:
(1.) The ethnicity and nationality of Abraham are not relevant to the operations of GOD for covenant, for revelation, and for salvation among mankind. Thus, Abraham, the Friend of GOD, appears as a nomad, a wealthy man (yet, a wanderer), and one seeking a city whose builder and maker is GOD.
(2.) The mother of Ishmael was Hagar, an Egyptian. Throughout the holy writings, Egypt appears as a symbol and type representing internal conflict; impurity; opposition to divine authority; spiritual confusion; the operations of flesh rather than faith, divine law and promise; and the promotion of death, rather than eternal life.
There is far more to be said, correctly understood, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (3.) There is a common need among all living upon the earth for recovery from sin; and there is a single divine provision of Jesus Christ for atonement, redemption, salvation, and sanctification. Finite human abilities and accomplishments such as algebra, astrophysics, biochemistry, common law, genetics, logic, philosophy, and politics have failed to equip men to correctly detect, eliminate, and resist sin.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith and willingness to receive answer from GOD.
