The need for rebirth through baptism before one may “see” GOD is the topic, today, along with more on GOD in the person of Jesus. A writer at “Yahoo! Answers Singapore” using the ID “Jordan” (Level 1 with 142 points, a member since 16 December 2013) posted the following originally asked at Yahoo Answers United States:
How come every time someone tells me they found god and i ask to see him?
know one ever shows me
THE BATTLE AXE: GOD is Jesus? (01/13/2014)—As an omnipotent spirit being, GOD may appear as a human, and continue in flesh indefinitely without any damage to, or loss of divine substance. As a carnal, human being, Jesus is not omnipotent, must acquire knowledge gradually, must complete stages of development through growth and learning, and only displays multiple aspects of Divine Person on a scale appropriate to mortal existence. Jesus displays the more complete apprehension of divinity intended for all mankind, and that will be bestowed upon all who are his at the Lord’s coming to harvest the earth. The dead in Christ will be raised along with those who are living, and will be made immortal and incorruptible. Of course, Deity and humanity are not the same; and how long one may endure or remain alive is not the most important criteria for identifying the divine nature and sovereign authority of the Almighty. Both the Father and Son transcend all differences continuing as one in divine process, eternal purpose, and sacred truth. GOD is one, and exists completely and exclusively as GOD; yet, GOD also contains and subsumes all that is possible for the existence of mankind and other living creatures. It will never be correct to deny that GOD has authority and entitlement (we say, the right) to assume form in flesh, spirit or utterance. Similarly, it is absurd to argue that GOD does not have the power or any way to accomplish Incarnation. No intelligent being throughout the universe of GOD can deny that there is a need for an extreme divine intervention that will totally preserve and recover Creation after totally eliminating sin. Correctly understood, then, questions for those who are developing faith only may focus upon describing the three aspects or persons whereby GOD has (1) appeared through sacred events among mankind, (2) are reported as having been used by GOD to function, (3) have been employed to make divinity known, and (4) that GOD continues to utilize when responding to prayer and worship. The limitations of created beings and living creatures that permit a person to acknowledge that the GODhead exists will never also allow intellect, logic, reason, or science to generate detailed and full comprehension of the spiritual substance, exalted eminence, and supremacy of the GODhead. While belief in the Incarnation of GOD as Jesus Christ does, in fact, express and produce faith and godliness among men, disbelief and quarrels against this doctrine repeatedly result in ignorance, morbid speculation, spiritual confusion, ungodliness, and violence. Consider again Psalms 145: 10-13, Isaiah 9: 5-7, Isaiah 40: 28, 2nd Corinthians 4: 18, Colossian 3: 12-14 and 1st Timothy 6: 12-16, KJV.
THE GOLDEN ARROW: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. (Colossians 1: 9-20, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Reveal Himself To All? (12/03/2013); Is Science the Right Tool? (12/04/2013); Why Jesus Used Parables (11/03/2013); Never Taught It? (10/13/2013); Without Pointing A Finger? (10/14/2013); Come As You Are? (06/29/2013); Freewill is Finite (06/30/2013); Words Spoken by GOD? (06/05/2013); Teachings on Judgment (06/06/2013)
“Jordan”, maybe it is not that no one shows you; it is that your present makeup is not open, and does not allow you to see and understand. As a natural human being relying upon flesh (i.e., appetite such as hunger, thirst, sexual cravings; sense such as hearing, smelling, tasting; emotional and mental functions such as desire, fantasy, imagination, intuition, reason, recall) and the frameworks of time and space, it is nearly impossible to have experience and correct knowledge of being and substance that are totally spirit in their composition and nature.
As a spirit being, GOD is not a material or physical object for the awareness of created beings and living creatures. GOD is invisible (we say), and must reveal and show himself by using flesh and blood in various ways. This is accomplished in part by GOD having appeared as Jesus (we say, Incarnation), and by the present indwelling of GOD as a spirit imparted to the living. In the same way the presence of the wind is made visible by its action upon things that may be seen (e.g., the clouds, the trees, a scrap of paper), GOD is made visible by his action upon the behavior, expectations, practices and utterance of the created.
There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood. (For example, people only gain the ability to discern and recognize the actions and presence of GOD around as well as within themselves by experiencing permanent changes in the content of their own makeup. Attitudes, focus, goals, intentions, knowledge, and sense of purpose all must be altered; so we say, a person must be born again having divine DNA. Through baptism and multiple operations of GOD that include forgiveness, repentance, and sanctification, a natural man or woman becomes a “new creature” after the pattern of Christ.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2nd Corinthians 5: 20-21, KJV)

(01/13/2014) GOD is Jesus?
Understanding the appearance of GOD in the person of Jesus Christ is the topic, today. Also, there is more on why Christians pray for others. The writer at “Yahoo! Answers” using the ID “Yeah” (Level 1 with 5 points, a member since July 14, 2013) posted the following:
Christians, how can a man be God?
How could Jesus Christ be God?
THE BATTLE AXE: Why Christians Pray for Others (01/12/2014)—There is a human need for truth regarding divinity. GOD has provided a lamb; and the focus for those for whom prayer is made is not to be the one who offers prayer on their behalf; it is to be upon the one who hears and receives such prayer. The careful examination of divinity permits a higher grasp upon the many possibilities for what it is to be completely human. Spans for the single bridge that ensures communication among us are shared conditions, shared experience, shared purpose, and common truth. Nourishing and protecting the diverse and multiple aspects of our spirit will always be a necessary part for human perfection, and survival. Those who appreciate this fact, do not impose or intrude any burden upon others that may be called oppression. In a society that may continually challenge, discount, ignore, and overlook what we regard as our greatest gifts and talents, it is a benefit to be reminded others do care, and make peculiar efforts on our behalf that we might have life more abundantly. See Isaiah 53: 6-12, Isaiah 59: 9-19, Luke 22: 32 and Romans 8: 34, KJV.
THE GOLDEN ARROW: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1st John 5: 7, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Fullness of GODhead (01/09/2014); World Without End? (2014); Only One GOD (09/14/2013); Weed and Godly Wisdom (09/15/2013); Utterance is Spirit (09/08/2013); A Start for the Idea of GOD? (09/09/2013); How Was GOD Known Before Jesus (10/06/2012); Jesus, King of Earth? (10/07/2012); A Man in Heaven? (09/23/2012); Aliens? (09/24/2012)
“Yeah”, Christians accept many ideas and statements as truth on the basis of their agreement with various powerful ideas that go beyond emotional, mental and physical activity to describe spirit aspects of human experience. For those who are simple, and not aware of the broad range of meanings and values that must be taken into account, basic explanations must be offered that depend upon intellect, language, logic, and reason. For example, a believer might offer an analogy saying, Consider the officials on the football field. During the course of a playoff game the officials have full authority and power. Once they leave the stadium, however, they are merely ordinary citizens in the community (we say, they are nothing). The location as well as the function and the role they serve in determines their identity, and who they are in relationship with others. To speak of GOD as Savior, sovereign and supreme requires a similar understanding of locations, functions and relationships.
For those who have received a fresh endowment of the Spirit from GOD through the ministry of Jesus Christ, GOD is known as a spirit who has put forth all created beings and living creatures as well as the environment and material objects that makeup the sphere of their existence. The active presence of GOD is discerned and recognized by the appearance of divine operations, sacred events, and eternal purposes. Included are atonement, birth, covenant, death, forgiveness, gratitude, incarnation, love, prayer, praise, promise, prophecy, rebirth through baptism, judgment, reconciliation, revelation, resurrection, sanctification, and utterance.
There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood. (For example, one first must acknowledge and respect the measure of divine spirit that resides within themselves to rightly comprehend Almighty GOD appearing in flesh on behalf of all Creation. Sin that opposes the continued existence of divine law, all life, and all divinity is not itself a being, nor is it a physical or spiritual thing created by GOD. Yet, sin has direction, effect, and presence; and may dominate awareness and self-will in created beings and living creatures despite their intellect, logic, reason and science. Sin may not be totally eliminated without overturning all existing order; and is carefully limited and resisted through the provisions from GOD in Christ.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (2nd John 1: 9, KJV)

(01/12/2014) Why Christians Pray for Others
Believers interceding for others by prayer is the topic, today. Also, there is more on whether humans may acquire divinity. A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “CD GF” (Level 2 with 302 points, a member since May 21, 2012) posted the following originally asked on Yahoo Answers Australia:
Why do christians say that they will pray for you?
this has long confused me and frustrated me, i am an atheist so i am under the impression that although offering sympathy is nice its not really doing anything, but yet when a christian talks about praying for me they talk about it as if its important and they are giving something to me, if they really cared why wouldn't they help me instead of praying for me???
its like everyday when they see something bad instead of stopping that bad thing from happening they instead waste their breath and start saying something to empty air.... i always say thank you whenever they offer to do so, however i have never really understood why they needed to in the first place, if there was a god he would already know and if he cared he would be doing something about it without the encouragement of one of his "children".... so why do they feel like they need to pray for me?
THE BATTLE AXE: Able to Become Gods? (01/11/2014)—The transformation of mankind to endure forever in the presence of eternal GOD begins in the regeneration of awareness, comprehension, and self-will in the living, rather than an immediate alteration of flesh, carnal makeup, and the human form. For this reason, healing and resurrection (i.e., restoration of spirit and person from those deceased back to their physical body) often appear to be slow in coming, and delayed. Miracles, divine operations and sacred events must be established in keeping with divine order, not as catastrophe, chaos, confusion, and upheaval. Godliness only appears by the active presence of such imparted sacred content as faith, forgiveness, gratitude, holiness, hope, joy, piety, righteousness, truth, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Consider again: He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1: 11-13, KJV)
THE GOLDEN ARROW: Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (James 5: 13-20, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Prayer on Behalf of Others (11/25/2013); Intercession (12/27/2013); Jesus is GOD’s Word (12/28/2013); Prayer not Enough? (07/12/2013); A Tree Falls To The South (07/13/2013); When Prayer Works (10/11/2012); Double Standard? (10/12/2012)
“CD GF”, many Christian believers at first find it difficult to accept any duty or responsibility to pray for others. They think of salvation, and the things of GOD for their lives as being intimate, personal and private. Rather like Moses, who approached the “burning bush” out of curiosity (we may say, being nosy), and when given assignment insisted he was unfit to serve as a spokesperson for GOD because of his speech impediment, all Christians are called and drawn for various levels of service and sharing as prophets, yet, hesitate to take up their cross. Just as David was anointed to be king by Samuel the prophet, and would not wear the crown until 40 years later, Christians must come into maturity and greater levels of perfection before they fully grasp the scope of fruitful service. All must encounter the presence and reality of GOD, and enter into a relationship that establishes permanent changes.
Many believers first perform intercession and prayer on behalf of others as an act of repentance, to break off a lifestyle and patterns of do-nothing, ignoring the needs of others, and open persecution of others for their spiritual commitments. Others first pray unselfishly while they are in the excitement of their new life and salvation. Just as all human beings must breathe air to live, all believers must connect to GOD, must receive spirit content from divinity (we say, be born again having divine DNA), must grow and mature again, must regularly submit themselves to GOD in prayer, and must maintain their mortal lives by active practice of sacred operations, carrying out and continuing divine processes, and fulfilling eternal purposes.
It is no surprise, then, that as “outsiders” atheists are ignorant of the power and value of prayer even as documented in history, and the sacred events recorded in the Bible: Daniel survived the lion’s den when condemned for offering prayers in the midst of Israel’s captivity in Babylon; GOD delayed judgment and destruction against Sodom in response to the prayers of Abraham for his nephew Lot’s sake; Paul and Silas were delivered from death, earthquake and imprisonment; and Jesus called out from the cross on behalf of all who would believe.
There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood. (For example, those offering to pray for others are those having life experiences and faith in GOD that still supports unselfishly bestowing spiritual gifts upon others. The divine love they express is not recognized as conforming to the patterns for carnal, physical, psychological, sexual and social meanings of the world. Believers replicate the prototype in Jesus, and are thereby children of GOD, and joint heirs with Christ.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (Jeremiah 33: 3, KJV)

(01/11/2014) Able to Become Gods?
The idea that humans somehow can become “gods” is examined, today. A writer at “Yahoo! Answers Singapore” using the ID “Bonnie” (Level 1 with 181 points, a member since 07 January 2014) posted the following first asked on Yahoo Answers United States:
If Jesus claimed to be God and Jesus was a regular guy, wouldn't that make us God too?
Makes sense doesn't it??
THE GOLDEN ARROW: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, (John 10: 27-39, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The Image of GOD? (10/10/2013); Embodied Afterlife? (10/11/2013); GOD is Acknowledging (09/30/2013); The Power of Death? (10/01/2013); A Relationship not Just Knowledge? (06/25/2013); Acknowledging Divinity? (03/30/2013); Spirit Matter (10/21/2012); Caesarea Philippi (10/22/2012)
“Bonnie”, there are several things recorded in the Bible that suggest that ordinary men and women actually may become divine beings. For example, look at 1st Peter 1: 15-16, NIV: But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” Psalms 82: 6, KJV has: I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. (However, Christian believers are cautioned by verse 7 to be careful and thorough in all study of the holy writings: But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Psalms 82: 7, KJV.)
The many “ingredients” that would make one divine go beyond existing (as do rocks, cell phones, and vacuum cleaners), or merely being alive (as are cattle, serpents, trees and vermin). In the world to come that is described in the Scriptures, mankind will be immortal and incorruptible (see 1st Corinthians 15: 50-57 and Revelation 22: 1-5, KJV). Separation from GOD and Christ by frameworks of time and space will be ended; and all sin removed. Even so, GOD will continue as Exalted, as Potentate, and as Supreme.
GOD is a spirit. So long as mankind continues in flesh and bone, and abides mortal upon the earth, there can be only a finite accomplishment of divine being for any human. The endowment from GOD bestowed upon mankind at Creation permits expression of both an animal and divine nature. Through the ministries of Jesus Christ upon the earth and from the heaven, mankind receives a fresh endowment of divine content (see 2nd Peter 1: 4, KJV). In addition to being, holiness, immortality, incorruption and person, believers receive such inseparable aspects of GOD as faith, forbearance, gratitude, joy, longsuffering, love, righteousness, truthfulness, wisdom, and wrath against sin.
There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood. (For example, humans are “the offspring” of GOD as the product of multiple divine operations, sacred events, and eternal purposes. We speak of ourselves, then, as sons and daughters, the children of GOD, and those having place among the eternal living by the direct action and provision of GOD. However, in humility (and not as those in ignorance or malice will say), believers do not claim to be equals, peers or some match to GOD.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (1st John 3: 2, KJV)

(01/10/2014) World Without End?
Apocalypse and eternal life are considered, today. Also, there is more on the fullness of GODhead. A “Yahoo! Answers” writer using the ID “micky” (Level 1 with 113 points, a member since January 07, 2014) posted the following:
When is the world going to end?
I'm interested..

hate Christians :) was hoping to get a few comments from them:)
THE BATTLE AXE: The Fullness of GODhead? (01/09/2014)—Many Christian believers understand the shared identity and unity for the three persons of divine GODhead is a matter of congruence and correspondence, rather than sameness. There is a “division of labor” without dissolution and separation. While each conveys presence through uniquely recognizable patterns, and may appear to operate as if having independent existence, all affirm, complete and perfect one another through hierarchies of divine interaction, eternal purpose, and sacred works. Thus, the oneness of GOD is in no way diminished by the fact that Creation and Incarnation are by the active agency of the Son and the Spirit; salvation through the Father and the Son; repentance, rebirth, and sanctification are of the Spirit; judgment of the quick and the dead is by the Son. See John 5: 22, Hebrews 1: 1-4, John 17: 14-24 and 1st John 5: 7-12, King James Version.
THE GOLDEN ARROW: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. (Ephesians 3: 14-21, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER: The World Passeth Away (11/12/2013); The Earth Made New (11/13/2013); Hierarchy (11/14/2013); The Place for Eternal Life? (01/06/2013); Therefore There Was Trust (01/07/2013); Like a Thief? (12/01/2013); Only While We Live? (12/02/2013); Doom (09/20/2012); Contradictions? (09/21/2012)
“micky”, here are a few points Christian believers have received and hold to as a basis for hope, joy, and strength to meet any crisis:
(1.) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (Matthew 24: 3, King James Version, KJV)
The world is not going to end; sin is. The Creation of GOD is to be eternal and everlasting. The world will exist within the divine presence, and GOD will abide within the world with mankind (see Matthew 28: 20 and Revelation 21: 1-5, KJV).
(2.) I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless. (Isaiah 13: 11, New International Version, NIV)
Mankind and the world that now is the sphere for human existence are undergoing alterations and changes that will completely eliminate sin as an influence upon created beings and living creatures. There are multiple divine operations and sacred events to be completed in a process for divine transformation whereby mankind will become immortal and incorruptible. Heaven and earth are being made new. (see Isaiah 65: 17, Isaiah 66: 22 and 2nd Peter 3: 1-5, KJV).
(3.) And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24: 14, NIV)
Various preparations are going forward among believers for the second coming of Jesus (many say, Advent). Included are the preaching of the Gospel; applying holy blood for atonement; cleansing of the Temple in heaven; and investigative judgment for those who will be received as Christ’s harvest from the earth.
(4.) Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. (Revelation 3: 10, NIV)
Those who acknowledge redemption and salvation by the ministry of Jesus Christ will be shielded, protected, and even removed from the earth, and will not endure all the destruction and hardship that must occur as the judgment of GOD against sin.
There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood. (For example (5.) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3: 36, KJV)
Eternal life has already begun for believers in Jesus. For such, death and completing ones mortality is compared to sleep, and is only a temporary pause in existence, not an end or finish.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3: 16, KJV)

(01/09/2014) The Fullness of GODhead?
Some points for describing GOD and divine nature are shared, today, along with more on how mankind should not be thought of as the prize in a holy war. The “Yahoo! Answers Canada” writer using ID “Gloria” (Level 4 with 3,191 points, a member since November 30, 2012) posted the following originally asked at Yahoo Answers United States:
What does the fullness of the Godhead means?.?
For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9
Does it mean all the attributes of God including the work of the Holy Spirit?
THE BATTLE AXE: Are We the Spoils of War? (01/08/2014)—The Holy Bible does include a plain statement that there was war in heaven, and that Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. However, there is no indication that the prize of their struggle was to be dominion or rule over mankind and the earth. As created beings and living creatures, the angels are neither mortal nor immortal, and so there is no record of casualties or deaths among them. Also, only the lake of fire appears to have power to end the existence of angelic beings (Matthew 25: 40-41 and Revelation 20: 14, KJV). While warfare among angelic beings does not destroy or remove their divine substance, angels may be bound, cast out, stripped of authority, incarcerated and imprisoned under chains of darkness (see Revelation 12: 7-10, 2nd Peter 2: 4, Jude 1: 6 and Revelation 20: 1-3, KJV). The witness from Nebuchadnezzar lauds the most High and acknowledges the army in heaven (Daniel 4: 34-35, KJV); similarly, John in Revelation proclaims an army in heaven led by Faithful and True (Revelation 3: 14 and Revelation 19: 11-16, KJV). Both heavenly angels and those from the pit will be used in the judgment against mankind that sees widespread death and destruction in the earth. Even then, GOD will continue to have full control; there will be no attacks against believers under Christ; and chaos and unrestrained violence will not be allowed. At no time should mankind expect methodical assaults or continuous combat against the earth by the well-ordered armies of heaven. Because Satan does lead an immense army of sinners against the Holy City (New Jerusalem) once it is positioned upon the earth, men will be included in the judgment—not war—that will be made as the defense of the sacred site (see Revelation 20: 7-9, KJV).
THE GOLDEN ARROW: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. (Romans 1: 18-23, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Jesus Is GOD’s Word? (12/28/2013); Alpha and Omega (12/29/2013; Only One GOD (09/14/2013); Weed and Godly Wisdom (09/15/2013); How Was GOD Known Before Jesus? (10/06/2012); Jesus, King of Earth? (10/07/2012); Divine Self-Sacrifice? (09/30/2012); Justice Comes by Love? (10/01/2012); A Man in Heaven? (09/23/2012); Aliens? (09/24/2012); Begotten Not Made (09/08/2012); About False Witness (09/09/2012)
“Gloria”, here are a few points that I trust have come from GOD and are based on many, many Scriptures that were recorded to build up our faith and understanding:
(1.) GOD is a spirit, and is not made up of material substance (like fog, clouds, mist, smoke or steam). GOD has put forth carnal, material, natural, and social objects that include created beings and living creatures. More than this, GOD is capable of using material form to appear and continue as flesh (we say, incarnate) in a further act making divinity known throughout Creation.
(2.) Divinity (we say, what GOD is made of) is entirely spirit; and where one aspect of divine spirit appears, all other aspects of divine spirit are present. Thus, the accomplishments and deeds through one aspect of GOD are achieved and performed in all other aspects of GOD. (You can’t “separate the wet from the water,” so to speak.)
(3.) In addition to being, completeness, consciousness, immutability, person, power, presence, purpose and oneness, the sacred substance of GOD includes such inseparable aspects as awe, faith, holiness, humility, joy, longsuffering, love, wisdom, and wrath against sin. Through the baptism provided by the ministry of Jesus Christ, mankind now receives fresh deposits of this same spirit content.
There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood. (For example (4.) The revelation of GOD to mankind is accomplished by the use of multiple ongoing divine, operations, sacred events, and eternal processes. Included are atonement, fellowship, judgment, salvation, and sanctification.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name: (Amos 5: 8, KJV)

(01/08/2014) Are We the Spoils of War?
The place of mankind in the seeming war between GOD and Satan is the topic, today. A writer at “Yahoo! Answers Malaysia” using the ID “dk” (Level 1 with 101 points, a member since January 21, 2013) posted the following first asked at Yahoo Answers United States:
(for those of you who believe in the Bible) Is it your understanding?
..that we as human beings are in the middle of a constant war between God's hosts and Satans? Each side trying to influence us to follow their standard?
Just curious
THE GOLDEN ARROW: I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (2nd Timothy 4: 1-8, KJV)
THE DOUBLE DAGGER: Of War and Judgment (10/08/2013); Heart, Brain or Spirit? (10/09/2013); The Love of GOD (03/03/2013); Our Need for a Son (03/04/2013); Opportunity to Repent (11/02/2012); The “Lake of Mercy” (11/03/2012); Seeking and Being Sought (11/04/2012); A Partnership? (11/05/2012); To See With New Eyes (11/06/2012); Why Did The Judges Fight? (10/19/2012); The Spirit is Willing (10/20/2012); Spirit Matter (10/21/2012)
“dk”, here are some points most Christian believers carefully take into account:
(1.) While we use language portraying conflict on a cosmic scale between opposing spiritual forces, mankind and the earth as a platform for human existence are not the prize of a war for conquest and expansion of physical territory. That mankind’s dominion over the earth is spoken of as forfeited and surrendered to Satan is best understood as figurative language to describe the human predicament established by sin—a nonmaterial, non-spirit influence upon awareness and self-will that causes created beings and living creatures to oppose continued existence of divine law, of GOD, and of all creation.
(2.) Mankind is not the passive victim of a continuing war around and outside itself between good and bad, light and darkness, right and wrong. Yet, humanity and the earth appear as sacred tools for the demonstration and revealing of divine authority, sovereign will, consecrated person, and eternal purpose to correct and guide the creatures of heaven, and one another.
(3.) For the Christian, ambivalence, continuing inner conflict and the natural uncertainty of life upon the earth describe growth and service as a “good fight of faith” where believers pursue such goals as accomplishing all their potential for fellowship with divinity as well as those for receiving the divine nature, sharing the good news of their own salvation, and being transformed to exist having immortality and incorruption. The dynamic for life experience is one of flux and movement that results by disparity, diversity, and imbalance. Rest and stability are accomplished through choice, commitment and submission. However, these also are temporal, and do not endure apart from GOD, who is immutable.
There is far more to be said, properly shared, and spiritually understood. (For example (4.) GOD has no equal or peer against whom he competes. There can be no warfare or victory against GOD. All finite Creation is immersed in multiple divine operations and processes that establish being and existence, and constitute the existence of GOD. The belief that there is “independence from GOD” continues as an artifact of separation fostered by individual awareness and self-will that often become dominated by sin. The imparted Spirit from GOD through the ministry of Jesus Christ enables believers to resist sin, and focus away from self to affirm the grace, integrity and righteousness of GOD as Creator, Judge, Savior and Ruler over all.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (1st Timothy 6: 12, KJV)
